He was set to no take downs, so if I counter with the stand up slider only my fighter might try a take down from the counter strike slider? I do not understand. No take downs with 100% follow my orders should = No Take Downs no matter what my counter striking sliders are set to. Please help me understand?

That's not how it works. Some managers might not want to attempt Takedowns aggressively for fear of trying and failing leading to wasted energy. So they would set themselves to only try Takedowns on the counter to try and get it down that way. The sliders for what you do when you Counter are completely separate to what you are set to do while being aggressive.

Forgive me but I still do not understand how it happened. 100% No take downs with 100% follow my order should = no take downs and my fight attempted 14. Very confusing to me.

^ Just using some random sliders I put on a Spar Bot.

Those sliders would mean when my fighter goes Aggressive, he will only attempt Head Punches. Meanwhile, when he has a Counter attempt, he will refer to the Standup Counters set down at the bottom, which he is set to 100% Grapple and subsequently 100% Takedown.

If you are confused about your sliders, go to the graph at the bottom of the Slider area and look at this section:

And look at what his Counter %'s are (The ones in Red)

Yeah I have had some real success with counter strikes and always assumed this is how that particular slider worked, the graph is fantastic but also the mobile version is legitimately better than the web version as you can set the levels against the graph to get just what you are looking for :)

Aggressive stand-up sliders and counter stand-up sliders are separate. Only counter-strike takes the strike proportions from aggressive stand-up. This way, as Grant said, allows you to strike on aggressive actions and takedown on counter actions.

P.S.: A mod should move this to the noob forum as it has nothing to do with engine errors.
