This was bound to happen, BJ was done years ago and in this fight against an aggressive fighter like Rodriquez, he was basically beaten down to pulp. It was one of the most painful, one sided beat-down's i have seen a legend take.

Penn has been pathetic for close to a decade now. He got embarrassed by Rory and looked utterly sad then. 1 win since 2010.

Yep , exactly.  One has to admire his admiriation for the sport, but that's it.  Lets hope he doesn't think about another fight after this one.

This fight was actually similar to that fight. If you look at his career, he has been very poor for a good 8+ years and he is only 38y old now.

I admire his heart and I see how much he loves the sport for sure.

Does he train as hard as he should to be at the level to get another W? I really don't think so. I think he is at the Luau every other week and half ass training, dreaming about his glory days and not realising that half the dudes in the UFC these days train like 5-6 days a week at least 2 times a day.
