  1. Review for PFC 4: The Source Carlos Francisco Modesto def. Miguel Machan at 0:20 of round #1 (TKO) - Featherweight bout Modesto cold-cocked Machan when he was shooting for a takedown, finishing the fight in impressive fashion! The 25 year old avenged a string of losses, and is looking toward his next opponent after a big win! Grigor Vladovich def. Ryan Del Oeste at 2:14 of round #3 (TKO) - Middleweight bout Vladovich caught Del Oeste in the clinch during the first round, but had to persist until the third, when he finally got the TKO victory! That’s two TKO losses in a row for Del Oeste, can he bounce back? Ash Catchum def. Jorge Santos via Unanimous Decision - Middleweight bout Ash Catchum continued his undefeated streak, taking Jorge Santos to the decision. There’s a lot of hype behind Catchum, the fans can’t wait to see him face off against some of PFC’s more skilled middleweights! Seun Adedji def. Balzac Tzovalzeck at 2:10 of round #1 - Welterweight bout Seun Adedji finished the fight with some vicious knees in the thai clinch! Tzolvalzeck’s striking appeared to be very telegraphed, allowing Adedji to stay in the pocket and work away at his opponent! DRAW: Ricky Bobby Jr vs Kim Jong Un - Heavyweight bout Besides a cut opening up on Kim Jong Un, these two fighters were unable to get the better of one another, leaving the fight at a standstill. The judges could not pick a winner, so we’ll have to see these two face off again! Watsz Mawe def. Yuki Shojo at 3:58 of round #3 (TKO) - Featherweight bout Mawe smashed Yuki Shojo with some stiff ground and pound that was enough for the referee to step in! The BJJ black belt showed his dominance on the ground this weekend, and proved he’s still a worthy contender JR Adams Junior def. Parker Lewis at 0:42 of round #1 - Heavyweight bout Adams Junior slipped a big punch from Lewis and followed it up with a hell of a head kick you wouldn’t expect from heavyweights! Adams Junior gets to go home for Christmas with another W on his perfect record, but Lewis might be spending his holidays in la-la land! Mamoru Date def. Fabio Bianconi at 0:31 of round #1 (TKO) - Lightweight bout Mamoru Date added to the list of big knockouts with a TKO victory over Fabio Bianconi. An uppercut early on from Date made quick work of Bianconi! When asked about his TKO win, Date said, “Don’t act so surprised, I’ve beaten the best in Pulse, you’re gonna be seeing more of me soon”. The former lightweight champ believes he’s still got work to do in PFC. Seung-Jin Bailey def. Artur Syrowatka at 2:23 of round #1 (TKO) - Light Heavyweight bout Another uppercut KO in this knight of quick knockouts! Seung-Jin Bailey went on to announce that he should be apart of the main-event tonight, challenging for the strap! He certainly proved himself worthy tonight, and we’re bound to see him in a title fight very soon! THE MAIN EVENT Bryer Mcguire def. Kromog The Terror Of The Island at 2:12 of round #3 (TKO) - Light Heavyweight bout The main event delivered, when Bryer Mcguire retained his belt in a war with Kromog! Bryer’s consistent clinch work wore The Terror Of The Island down, until he finally broke midway through the third round! Kromog’s resiliency is very commendable though, as he got rocked by the champ all throughout this battle. Mcguire is looking forward to his next challenger in the PFC cage, looking to continue his win streak with the title around his waist!
  2. Review for PFC 3: Tournament Showcase (896879) Krom Kong def. Anderson Aldo via Unanimous Decision - Welterweight bout Krom Kong with a dominant decision victory over Anderson Aldo, silencing any skeptics with some solid stand up. Anderson Aldo’s only hopes to keep himself from getting knocked out clean was by clinching up with Kong! Tom Thomas def. DJ Bango via Unanimous Decision - Bantamweight Tournament bout Despite getting caught with a big shot on Bango’s end, Tom Thomas was able to recover quickly and continue to land a high volume of strikes, earning himself the decision victory. Although DJ lost his debut, he was able to show a lot of promise, proving to the world that he deserves to be among the PFC ranks! The big striking exchanges and tremendous amount of heart shown by these two earned them fight of the night! Thomas has his eyes set on his next opponent in the Bantamweight tournament! Tiny Ali Jaffa def. Daniel Slugger at 2:22 of Round #1 (TKO) - Heavyweight bout Tiny Ali Jaffa with yet another highlight reel TKO in his Pulse debut! Boyfriend managed to bust open Jaffa, but the up and comer quickly responded by doing the same to Daniel Boyfriend! A huge head kick followed by some heavy punches got Tiny Ali Jaffa the KO bonus, he will certainly be a problem for heavyweight contenders in the future! Erno Bajza def. Samran Mookjai via Unanimous Decision - Light Heavyweight bout Erno Bajza was able to keep the pressure on Mookjai, taking him down eight times through three rounds. Erno was able to take Samran Mookjai past the first round for the first time in his career, and in turn suppress any offence Samran might have been able to create in the first. Gary Daebak def. Tim Lincekum via Unanimous Decision - Bantamweight Tournament bout Daebak was the more efficient striker in the fight, and managed to pick up his first decision win against Tim Lincekum. Lincekum appeared frustraded in this fight, attemting to land a lot of strikes! He couldn’t seem to land much on the fast Daebak! These bantamweights prove that this division is a great addition to PFC! Dom Cruz def. Pepe Maldini via Unanimous Decision - Bantamweight Tournament bout Dom Cruz’ ground and pound made the difference in this fight. Cruz wanted to take it straight to the ground, and Maldini was comfortable to stay there. Maldini attempted a lot of submissions, but was just not able to cinch one in! Dom Cruz was very cocky following his victory, can he keep it up in the next round of the tournament? Santana Blaze def. Segey Taranin via Unanimous Decision - Featherweight bout Santana Blaze added to Taranin’s loss streak. Segey Taranin was able to get Blaze to the mat, but was unsuccessful in doing much other that. Blaze was able to land some good strikes on Taranin, which ultimately gave him the decision victory! Nosya Rram def. Paulo Henrique Bordignon Miyao via Unanimous Decision - Bantamweight Tournament bout In the final Bantamweight tournament matchup of the evening, Nosya Rram, the former Pulse lightweight champion, was able to get the better of Bordignon Miyao on the feet, which effectively earned him the decision. Paulo Henrique managed to take Rram down a few times, but was unable to produce any notable ground and pound or dominance on the mat. Nosya Rram’s hopes of becoming a two-weight champion in PFC seem much more attainable with this clutch tournament victory! Sven Svensson def. Pieter Daan Mostert at 2:25 of Round #3 (TKO) - Middleweight bout Multiple submission attempts from Pieter Daan Mostert were not enough to hold Sven Svensson down, who capitalized on a stand up exchange, winning via TKO midway through the final round! We expected this one to finish with a submission, but that’s what makes MMA such an unpredictable sport! Svensson beautifully mixed leg kicks into his attacks, keeping Mostert guessing, which was finally his demise! THE MAIN EVENT Kostya Tszyu def. Nam Ho via Unanimous Decision - Middleweight bout Nam Ho displayed a tremendous amount of skill and heart against Kostya Tszyu, who was able to recover from a knockdown, and take the decision! That’s what makes Tszyu one of PFC’s very best! Ho himself did prove that he belongs with the best at PFC though, keeping up with his opponent’s striking. Kostya ended up landing the higher volume of strikes, and also mixing up his attacks very well, exposing some weak spots in Nam Ho’s game! There’s a lot of great things to come for both of these fighters in Pulse!
  3. Preview for PFC 3: Tournament Showcase (896879) The first round of the Bantamweight tournament begins this saturday, in New York City! Besides those four thrilling matchups, we’re seeing 6 other highly anticipated fights that are surely gonna bring the fans in the Liberty Dome to their feet! The states are gonna see what PFC is really all about in this unforgettable card! Krom “The Killer Right Foot” Kong VS Anderson “The Pornstar” Aldo - Welterweight bout Krom Kong is hoping to use that “Killer Right Foot” in this matchup, looking to bounce back from a 5-loss streak, all coming from KO! Otherwise, we might be calling it the lame right foot! Aldo, on the other hand, is determined to bounce back from an L of his own! DJ Bango VS Tom “Tommy” Thomas - Bantamweight Tournament bout In the first Bantamweight tournament matchup of the night, two highly skilled fighters are looking to break into the PFC scene! DJ Bango, a young man getting his first taste of an MMA contract, is facing off against Tom Thomas, a man only one year older than DJ, with a whopping ten more fights under his belt! Thomas’ experience edge may give him the victory here, but DJ Bango hasn’t had a platform to showcase his skills! We’ll see who can be one step closer to the all new BW strap in this one! Daniel “Slugger” Boyfriend VS Tiny Ali Jaffa - Heavyweight bout What a heavyweight war we’re in for! Boyfriend is fresh off a KO of the night victory, and looks to humble the up and comer, Tiny Ali Jaffa. PFC’s newly signed prospect has a lot of promise without a doubt, knocking out every man that’s stood in his way up to this point! Does Jaffa have what it takes to keep up with PFC’s level of competition, or will he show the world why he deserves a place among the best heavyweights on the planet? Samran “Shredder” Mookjai VS Erno “Madman” Bajza - Light Heavyweight bout These two young strikers are looking to make a statement this weekend! All of Mookjai’s wins have came by way of TKO, and he made it clear he hopes to continue that trend with a win over a competent opponent in Bajza. Erno definitely has the experience in the cage over Samran, mentioning how his opponent has never made it past the first round! We’ll be looking forward to who can end up on top! Gary Daebak VS Tim “Tiny” Lincekum - Bantamweight Tournament bout Daebak’s only loss, came in his first fight that moved into the second round! Lincekum though, is known to take fights the distance as of late. This could be problematic for Gary Daebak, as we’ve not been able to see what he’s got for a gas tank. I’m sure both these fighters have prepared themselves as best they could, and are looking towards the next round of the BW tournament! Dom “The Decisionator” Cruz VS Pepe Maldini - Bantamweight Tournament bout Both of these exciting Bantamweights are coming off of a loss, with hopes for redemption in PFC’s Bantamweight tournament! They’re both well rounded, and young! Maldini’s got a title victory in the now closed Primal, but these are the big leagues now! Everything these fighters have accomplished doesn’t matter in the PFC cage! We can’t wait to see who has what it takes! Segey Taranin VS Santana Blaze - Featherweight bout Taranin hasn’t been able to find his footing as of late, and is looking to get into title contention with a win over Santana Blaze. The 33 year old Blaze claims it’s his time to climb the proverbial ladder, and that Taranin had shown what he’s worth when he lost to Danny Brixton back in May! A bit of animosity always makes for a great fight, and these two are certainly going to deliver! Paulo Henrique Bordignon Miyao VS Nosyaj “Punchline” Rram - Bantamweight Tournament bout In the last BW matchup of the night, it’s gonna be an epic showdown! We’ve got the former 2X PFC Lightweight champ, Rram, moving all the way down to Bantamweight to face Miyao, who’s won two consecutive Featherweight fights in PFC since joining the company’s ranks! We know where these fighters like to go, and it’ll be intriguing to see who can execute their game plan more effectively! With the Bantamweight title belt looming in the distance, Miyao and Rram are definitely gonna leave it all out there this weekend! Pieter Daan Mostert VS Sven “The Swede” Svensson - Middleweight bout Two elite grapplers are getting inside the PFC cage with one another! Every single victory of Pieter’s comes by way of submission, and nearly all of Svensson’s as well! Mostert reached out to The Swede, saying it’ll be an easy fight for him. There’s only one way to find out, and we know how things get settled in PFC! Svensson said in an interview that he doesn’t have time for petty arguments, and that he’s here to fight and get his paycheque. His attitude lines right up with PFC’s, let’s see a brawl this weekend! THE MAIN EVENT Nam “The Fifth Tiger” Ho VS Kostya “KO” Tszyu - Middleweight bout Ho is making his first PFC appearance against undoubtedly one of the very best, Kostya Tszyu! KO’s last eight fights have been for a title, which is unheard of! His first non-title fight since January will be no sleep though, facing off against a surefire contender! Both of these warriors have amassed a lot of knockouts in the cage, and we’re well aware that’s exactly what they plan to do this weekend! Kostya may have lost his last two, but these are the best of the best we’re talking here! No mistakes can be made at this level, and both of these athletes are known for capitalizing on any slip-ups their opponent might have! We’ll see how Nam Ho fares in the PFC cage against Kostya Tszyu this weekend, at PFC 3: Tournament Showcase!
  4. Review for PFC 2: Benign Beginnings Kosken Jorma def. Mateusziz Rosiakos at 2:25 of round #1 (KO) - Featherweight Bout Jormas decided to mix things up this evening, and gather a first round KO, rather than a submission! It was really a sight to see when these two fighters squared up in the middle of the cage, and decided to throw down! Kosken ultimately got the best of Rosiakos, knocking him straight on the button, finishing the fight in the first round! Vang Poulsen def. Tusing Pocc at 0:26 of round #1 (TKO) - Featherweight bout The second Featherweight match of the night also ended in impressive fashion, with Vang Poulsen being very aware of Tusing Pocc’s ground game! It was quite clear Pocc had no intentions of keeping this one on the feet, and Poulsen made him pay for it, throwing a flurry of big shots, ending the fight early! Jimbo Monsoon def. Scott John at 4:35 of round #1 (TKO) - Heavyweight bout Jimbo Monsoon’s game plan was stellar in this fight, scoring the takedown early on, and dropping some heavy ground and pound on the defenceless Scott John, who could do nothing more than attempt to improve his position on the floor! Mikey Walsh def. Tree Sclounce at 0:31 of round #1 (KO) - Light Heavyweight bout Hopefully no fans blinked in any of these fights, as they’re brutal, and fast! PFC promised hard hitting action, and it was delivered tonight! Tree Sclounce looked ill-prepared for this bout, and Walsh capitalized on the tired fighter, putting everything behind one vicious uppercut! Simone Gentile def. Ryan Del Oeste at 0:30 of round #1 (TKO) - Middleweight bout Simone Gentile is still unbeaten! The fighter with the flawless record looked strong against Del Oeste, pouring on the strikes right away! Ryan Del Oeste believed the fight was stopped early, throwing a fit immediately after the stoppage! As made clear after the fight, “Westside” still has some animosity for Gentile, never getting the chance to establish his game in this fight. Joey James def. Marlo Stanfield at 0:41 of round #2 (TKO) - Lightweight bout “JJ” used his speed in this one to get the better of Stanfield, slipping in and out of engagements, and peppering him with combos. The end came early in the second round, when James nailed his opponent with a crisp 1-2! Joey James looked to have picked up some steam in this one, but will Stanfield be able to come out of this drought, following his third KO loss in a row? Maxwell House def. Anton Kruglov at 1:19 of round #2 (KO) - Welterweight bout Maxwell House followed through in avenging his draw against Kruglov, scoring a big knockdown that Anton had trouble recovering from. It wasn’t but twenty seconds later, when House rocked Kruglov with another nasty punch! The ref stepped in before Maxwell had a chance to cause any more brain damage! There’s no question who deserved the victory after this one! Dog The Multi Hunter def. Lars Romanow at 4:57 of round #3 (Submission) - Lightweight bout Dog proved himself to still be a worthy contender after a second win over Lars Romanov, who’s no guy to sleep on! It was the first and only submission of the night, no less! The cut The Multi Hunter Suffered in the second round didn’t phase him, as he moved in, and dragged Romanov back to the mat for some punishment. Dog persisted, and finally landed the armbar he was looking for! The Multi Hunter will no doubt be in the question for another title shot in the near future! Gerry Ryan def. Anderson Aldo via Unanimous Decision - Middleweight Championship bout In the only fight of the evening that went the distance, Gerry Ryan proved himself against a surefire legend in Anderson Aldo! “Spiderface” could never land that big shot he was looking for, and couldn’t keep up with Ryan, who’s become a legend in his own right! It’ll be interesting to see who can stand the test against the Middleweight champ in the future! THE MAIN EVENT - Von Cranial def. Sendou Kitano at 0:23 of round #1 (KO) - Heavyweight Championship bout The quickest fight of the evening was the main event, when these two imposing heavyweights faced off in what was definitely an instant classic! Von Cranial took back his PFC Heavyweight belt, and avenged his own KO loss against Kitano! We knew these heavy-handed brawlers would look to end this one fast, but it wasn’t long for “Stomper” to connect with a stiff straight that was heard all throughout the Nippon Jukodan Arena, even over the 14,000 screaming fans in attendance! With both of these elite fighters collecting a KO victory over each other, will we be seeing a rematch in the works? There’s no doubt the PFC fans would love to see these two make it a trilogy, in what would surely be another intense fight!
  5. Preview for PFC 2: Benign Beginnings Are you ready for the second installment of the new, improved PFC? Benign Beginnings promises hard-hitting action, just like last week, with some of the very best fighters the world clashing in the Nippon Jukodan Arena! Mateusziz “Mosiu” Rosiakos (9-3-0) VS “Kossu” Kosken Jorma (8-2-0) - Featherweight Bout We’re starting the night off right, with some featherweight action! Submission specialist Kosken Jormas is looking to continue his win streak with another 1st round tapout, against a competent fighter in Mateusziz Rosiakos. “Mosiu” hasn’t been able to keep his stride, taking a loss for every win in the past year. Let’s see if he can break that trend on Saturday! Vang “Wolf of Viborg” Poulsen (7-1-0) VS Tusing Pocc (11-13-0) - Featherweight bout The featherweights keep coming, with another exciting matchup between two solid contenders! What is really compelling about this one, is that Poulsen has taken all of his victories by KO, and Pocc, taking all of his by submission! It seems clear what these fighters plan on implementing in this fight, we’ll have to see who can find their stride this weekend. Jimbo “Demolition Man” Monsoon (5-1-0) VS Scott John (5-2-0) - Heavyweight bout We’ve got two heavyweights looking to make a name for themselves this weekend! The “Demolition Man” is coming off of his second submission victory, and promises to display his wide array of skills in the cage against Scott John, who’s looking to avenge his decision loss against the undefeated JR Adams Junior. John went on to say he can’t let the judges call this one, and that he’ll show the PFC fans why he should be facing off against Sendou Kitano in the main event! Those are some big words, let’s see if John can live up to his that! Mikey Walsh (6-5-0) VS Tree “Sclounce” Sclounce (12-8-0) - Light Heavyweight bout Mikey Walsh, who is 9 years younger than Tree Sclounce, says he’ll mop the floor with the old man! What Walsh doesn’t realize is that the floor is where Tree excels, taking all of his victories by submission! Both of these fighters are coming off of a loss, so we’ll have to see if their morale’s haven’t been completely diminished! Simone Gentile (6-0-0) VS Ryan “Westside” Del Oeste (9-7-0) - Middleweight bout The undefeated Simone Gentile claims he’ll once again have his hand raised, and denounced Del Oeste, saying Westside’s black belt isn’t going to help him! Ryan Del Oeste responded by saying he’ll prove his submission prowess, and submit Gentile however he wants, when he wants to! Can Westside be the first L on Simone’s record, or will he be defeated, just like the rest who have stood in front of Gentile? Joey “JJ” James (12-7-0) VS “King” Marlo Stanfield (16-9-0) - Lightweight bout Who’s chin will stand up to the test? This is the question with this matchup, both fighters having lost their last two by KO. Don’t think for one second either of these warriors will back down from a brawl though, both claiming their recent lack of success has only continued to motivate them! Not only that, these two are still extremely quick and skilled! How could they not be, with the level of competition PFC has to offer! Maxwell House (15-9-1) VS Anton “Mr.Energe” Kruglov (17-7-2) - Welterweight bout Following a controversial draw between these two fighters, they’re slated to go at it, one more time! Maxwell House was fuming, talking about his last fight against Kruglov. In a brief interview, House said, “The fact I have to kick this loser’s ass one more time is ridiculous, I don’t know what those judges were smoking! Everyone saw that overhand, except the judges, i guess”. Anton was reserved in his rebuttal, stating if House was as tough as he makes himself out to be, the fight wouldn’t have gone three rounds! We’ll have to see once and for all, who the better man is this Saturday! Dog The Multi Hunter (15-3-0) VS Lars Romanow (10-4-0) - Lightweight bout Dog has no problems making his way back up the ladder to face Beezow once again, according to a recent interview. His first matchup since his title-fight loss just so happens to be a man he’s beat once before, in Lars Romanov! Both fighters say they’ve made big improvements to their game since, and that they’ll get the best of one another! Romanov says Dog has his biggest challenge ahead of him in this one! Tune in Saturday to see how this plays out! Gerry Ryan “Resistance is Futile” (11-6-0) VS Anderson “The Spiderface” Aldo (18-5-0) - Middleweight Championship bout It’s the first of two title fights in the evening, and we’re seeing two determined athletes face off in a fight that’s guaranteed to blow the roof off the Nippon Jukodan Arena! The former PFC Middleweight champ, Anderson Aldo, wants to take what he believes is rightfully his! It’ll be interesting to see if has what it takes though, as the current champ, Gerry Ryan, was able to topple Kostya Tszyu, the man who “Spiderface”, has never been able to beat in their three matchups! We’re all aware of Anderson’s dangerous hands, winning by knockout 16 times in his professional career! THE MAIN EVENT - Von “Stomper” Cranial (16-6-0) VS Sendou “Kenshi” Kitano (16-6-0) - Heavyweight Championship bout What a main event we’re in for! Japan’s very own, Senshi Kitano, looks to continue to leave a path of destruction behind him, as PFC Heavyweight champ! Another great challenge stands in front of him this weekend, in the form of Von Cranial, a scary man in the cage! Both of these men have had paralleled careers, both becoming PFC champs, and coming to an identical record at this point! These two faced off once before, where we witnessed a wild punch from “Kenshi” that knocked Cranial out cold! When asked about his KO loss to the current champ, Cranial responded by doing what he’s known for, and kicked the interviewers teeth in! Was that an act of unwarranted rage, or a glimpse of what he’s going to do to Kitano this weekend? We’ll have to wait and see how this one plays out this weekend at PFC 2: Benign beginnings!
  6. Review for PFC 1: Rudimentary Changes Peter Barnkvist def. Bob Truck at 57s of round #1 (TKO) - Welterweight bout PFC 1: “Rudimentary Changes”, kicked off with a bang, as we saw Peter Barnkvist drop Bob Truck on his head with an impressive suplex! This ultimately lead to an onslaught of viscous ground and pound, which finished the fight. The flashy slam from Barnvkist earned him “KO of the night”! Da Wrestler Killa def. Daniel Cohen at 1:39 of round #2 (TKO) - Middleweight bout The pace set by Barnkvist in the fight prior was maintained by Da Wrestler Killa, who kept Daniel Cohen at a distance, until he was finally able to land that big straight right he was looking for, and follow it up with some ground and pound! Killa’s name speaks for itself in this one, as Cohen was unsuccessful in landing those big takedowns, only being able to pull guard on the victorious Killa. Rage Parade def. Jako Day at 2:45 of round #1 (KO) - Light Heavyweight bout Rage Parade was able to finally end his losing streak, extending Jako Day’s! A cut opened up on Jako’s face after the second punch, giving Rage Parade an immediate edge! Parade’s success also came in the clinch, as he was able to control Day, and frustrate him early on! With Day very tired, Parade landed a mean right that ended the brutal beatdown. Will Rock def. Kumo LaRusso at 1:38 of round #1 (TKO) - Lightweight bout This matchup did not disappoint, as expected! There were a couple back and forth exchanges, until Rock used his grappling experience, and moved into the clinch. There he was able to land those big punches, and wear LaRusso down. One last uppercut in the clinch from Rock made Kumo weak in the knees! Will Rock wasted no time, seizing the opportunity, and finishing LaRusso with another mean uppercut, that Kumo seemed to have no answer for! Although Rock displayed his dominance in this one, Kumo’s heart showed through, as he never quit throwing punches, right up to the very end. Joseph Parker def. San Sanich via unanimous decision - Heavyweight bout Sanich had no business standing up with the former boxer, Joseph Parker in this one. He was unable to use his grappling game, and found himself being used as a walking punching bag, soaking up 79 solid punches from Parker, and landing an abysmal zero for himself! Yes, he was shooting for those takedowns the whole fight, but it was apparent early on that he needed to mix it up somehow. San Sanich’s inability to adapt to Parker’s prowess over him meant Parker took home the decision victory. Bis Worth def. Harry Daebak via unanimous decision - Featherweight bout Bis Worth showed the world that he can once again, back up his arrogant words with a decision victory over a tough competitor in Harry Daebak, extending his win streak to five fights. It was a close fight, no doubt, as Bis used his reach advantage to throw strikes at a distance, and Daebak was able to close the distance, press Worth against the cage, and land some shots of his own. That being said, the judges concluded that Bis Worth got the better of that contest. Daebak was visibly upset by the loss, I guess that’s why you can’t leave it up to the decision! Bruno Tepes def. James Darren via unanimous decision - Welterweight Championship bout The welterweight champ defended his belt successfully over a former champ, “Paper Moon”. It was a great matchup, with both fighters getting in some effective striking. Bruno continued to change up his striking throughout the fight, mixing leg kicks in to throw James Darren off. Darren did a good job in weathering the storm, and hanging with Tepes, but was unable to get any advantage over him, awarding Bruno with the decision win. Ramon Escobar Chavez def. Michael Carter via unanimous decision - Featherweight bout Ramon Escobar Chavez proved himself in this fight, showing all of the PFC fans why he never lost his title in “Strikeforce Union”. Escobar Chavez landed four times as many strikes as Carter, who was unable to keep up with Ramon’s speed in the cage. Carter recognized his disadvantages, and tried to pull out every trick he had. Despite all that, Escobar Chavez’ cool mantra kept him calm and collected throughout the entire bout. Best of luck to Ramon Escobar Chavez, as he looks to climb up the ranks, and find gold in PFC! THE MAIN EVENT-CHAMPION VS CHAMPION Beezow Doo-Doo Zoppity-Bop-Bop-Bop def. Danny Brixton via unanimous decision - Lightweight Championship bout The main event was one for the ages, earning fight of the night! In this one, we saw Beezow Doo-Doo Zoppity-Bop-Bop-Bop retain his lightweight belt, leaving Danny Brixton a one-weight champ, at least for the time being! Beezow was chopping Brixton down with leg kicks all night, amassing a whopping 28 leg kicks by the end of the five-round war! That was one of the only edges Beezow had on Brixton, with both fighters stacking up extremely well! In the third round, we witnessed Danny catch his opponent with a vicious straight that left Beezow in la-la land for nearly a minute until he regained his composure! Beezow then returned the favour, landing a nasty uppercut in the fourth round that would be the end of any average martial artist, but not Brixton! Beezow tried to close the distance following that, and finish the deal, but neither of these fighters have any quit in them! The bloodbath concluded on the ground, with Brixton landing all of his takedown attempts in the fight. Had he been able to control Beezow on the mat, he might have been able to finish it. Either way, both these warriors showed their true fighting spirit in this one! Beezow has shown the world time and time again that he is without a doubt, the best PFC has to offer. Brixton, on the other hand, has absolutely nothing to be ashamed of after that!
