Angry Birds WAR 51 Preview August 8th, Helsinki will be heating up with a great night of fights at Hayashi's Lounge, courtesy of OGCFO! Lobov v Mizushima Starting off the night is a classic pairing in the lightweight division, the striker in Artem Lobov (1-1) versus the grappler in Kazushi Mizushima (0-1). Mizushima certainly has the skills to secure his first MMA win, but must fight through the superior hands of Lobov to get ahold. Pazzini v Mendes The first of two bantamweight fights tonight, Leonardo Pazzini (1-1) faces Rafael Mendes (1-0). Two great grapplers, Pazzini will need to exploit his advantage on the feet to soften up the black belt Mendes before the two hit the mat. Eye v Johnson Another bantamweight matchup, Snake Eye (2-1) faces a proven submission artist tonight in Demitrious Johnson (6-1). Both of Eye's wins came by a finish on the ground, a danger in Johnson's bid for a sixth submission victory. Tertelgte v Duranto This featherweight throw-down sees Ernie Tertelgte (2-0) and Roberto Duranto (1-0) put their flawless records on the line to move up the division. Duranto may have an edge in the clinch, but the pair look very well matched, with Tertelgte closing in on contendership for the belt! Duarte v Cenabre Jumping up in weight, this light-heavyweight match sees Joel Duarte (3-0) stare down Johniel Cenabre (3-3). Duarte is coming into this fight with a bad case of the blues, but with three quick KO wins, his heart might not come into play. Cenabre's competitive skillset has earned him three finishes as well in his career; an intriguing match in a stacked division! Wobblinger v King Tonight's super-heavyweight fight! Louis Wobblinger (7-2) faces Steve King (3-3). Wobblinger's history in the clinch shows a good use of his superior wrestling, but King's general skill in Muay Thai may keep him safe there, and couple with his boxing to deal damage at range. Wobblinger's coming into this fight with a crippled morale and needs to make and ride momentum fast in this fight! Shark v Ostrowski Another very well balanced match, light-heavyweights Sharky Shark (12-15) and Krzysztof Ostrowski (19-21) throw down. Some of the most experienced fighters in the division, Shark will no doubt be looking for the KO to ward off Ostrowski's submission advantage. Each fighter is in the top quarter of the division, so a win tonight will give the fans a lot to talk about! Tokano v Biante Heavyweight Yoshi Tokano (6-2) looks to have an easy night against Bruce Biante (3-6), coming into the fight with more wins and a stronger skillset. Tokano has everything to lose in this fight with little to gain; a Biante upset will make him the talk of the town and prove his team's ability to strategize wisely. Fist McGruff v Test Two Each fighter looking to start another win streak, the talented hands of Fist McGruff (5-7) will be hunting for the head of submission artiste Test Two (6-3)! All six of Test Two's wins come by submission, but all fights start on the feet! McGruff has three knock-out finishes to his name and isn't the easiest to take down. Either one will be getting close to a contendership with a win tonight! Iku Turso v Travis Randy Tonight's main event! Iku Turso (4-0) and Travis Randy (7-1) are each riding win streaks towards the top! All ELEVEN wins between the two come by KO or TKO; one of these warriors will be carried out on his shield tonight!
