On August 1st, the finale of the Mad Cash Tournament will be happening.

It has been a fun tournament for me, and it was a pleasure working with all managers who signed up.

I want to say thanks to those managers for their support.

And hopefully we will work together again in the future.

There will be a proper preview posted by GBK16 before the event date, so hold on a little longer for that.

Dickie "The Dirt" Dirty

Great promo video! This one got me pumped even more!

Also, you can already hand me the KO of the season bonus now. Look at my superman punch KO of Lodbrok and you know that's the one that got the fans jumping up. And if that's not the one, just wait to see the one that I'll score in the final...!

Sackett and Gracie

Sackett has the skill and hiddens advantage in his fight. I am surprised no one has just came out and blasted Saades; eventually his hiddens will be his downfall in the latter part of his career. I don't think he has the power either to tickle Sackett's chin. I'd go for Sackett to win on a first round KO prolly via punch combo.

The Gracie match up is a bit closer skill wise however i have a feeling Gracie has the better ground skills, he is a bit overly aggressive on the ground though which leads to a lot of counter opportunities but has a great submission finishing ability and should be able to retain top position and grind out the victory via UD or late submission in the 4th/5th round.

Pulkkinen was only one who had even change against Sacket in 185, and he got unlucky..

I really hope that Dirty wont win. Last olympics Takala destroyed hes opponent and he still lost that fight.. Same happened to Yamamoto at this tournamen and Dirty got lucky.

first of all, accidental downvote of your post when I quoted it from my cellphone, sorry. Please some one vote him up again.

About Dickie, I am not happy at all with his last win, but it is what it is. His opponent just tried to legkick him to shit and it didn't work out for him. In his first two rounds of the tournament, Dickie showed to be a more than worthy finalist and one less impressive performance shouldn't change that.

The judges just hate you Jorma...

I must admit though i didn't see the dodgy judging call, if i was Max i'd be pissed off to all hell, won the first two rounds quite comfortably and arguably won the 3rd round also. However Takala's result in the Olympics just took the piss.

Dickie "The Dirt" Dirty

The day has arrived! I am looking forward to the big challenge that my opponent brings. I have a few surprises up my sleeves for him, but sssjjjt, he can't know them just yet. He'll find them out once we are in the cage. My opponent is managed by a top manager so it will be tough, but hopefully my manager and I have done a good job and can beat him as well. I would love to get the honor of winning it and also getting the millions!

As for the 185lbs final, I willl be cheering for my boy Nolan Sackett. I had the honor of facing his little brother in the first round of the tournament and it was an honor fighting him. We talked after the fight and became friends. He has a tough opponent in front of him, but he can get the job done and in spectacular fashion I think. Good luck Nolan and see you at the afterparty! The bitches will be falling at our feet!

Thanks to John and the Insanity crew for putting on a great tournament. Nolan Sackett was lucky to pick up that split decision win. Good fight Louie.

Congrats to Bjorn and Dickie on the 155 win.

Yeah props to John for putting on this thing.

I bet reading that fight pbp Barn that there was some squeaky bum time when you were two rounds to one down heading into the 4th. Congrats on picking up the W.

100% agreed. Great tournament by Insanity and it was a pleasure to be in it. It ran very smooth, great previews and the prize money is already transfered. Great job John!

Congrats on the tournament win with Nolan !

And thanks. I'm very happy to win this tournament with Dickie. When I signed him up, I wasn't expecting this when I looked at the other participants, so it comes as a big surprise to me as well. A very pleasant surprise :P

Mateus Gracie like I have said before is a one trick pony and far exceeded my expectations in this tourney, made it much further then I had imagined. But his one trick didnt come through in the end up against I am suspecting a somewhat similarily skilled ground fighter. The advantage in the ground he had enjoyed early in the tourney was snuffed out in the end and he just did not have the skills in standup to make the difference on this night. May be too late to correct that but I am going to work on it. As for Saades vs Sackett that was a great fight, props to Nolan he had just that little bit more. Very proud of Saades for being able to stand for 5 rounds with Sackett, hopefully that puts to rest the questions about his chin. On the other hand, the power stroke also was not there. Not sure if there is a rematch for the belt planned now or not but I am down for another dance!
