Formerly branded HKT, Raven Fight League is going to bring a new spin to the game. (or possibly refresh a prior format)

 

RFL is a kickboxing org that is holding creation tournaments to open up the 360k ID era. Those division are the 145, 170, and possibly 205 if 3 more managers sign up for the 250k prize. See our post in the tournament thread for this. More importantly.....

RFL is opening up the 135, 155, 185, and 265 divisions for recruitment of 360k fighters. Being as we are already at 359970 (only 30 to go) we will start offering contracts now to individuals with ID 359970 or higher. These division will compete under a season by season format.

 

All fighters for this format must be age 16-20. (This will vary by weight class on occasion)

Season starts once the division has reached 8 fighters.

Each fighter will fight each other fighter in the division once.

Fighters will receive a 7 fight contract for the season.

Win record determines winner.

Tie breaker is determined by fighter record vs tied fighter record.

At the end of the season, the #1 seed will receive a 100k prize.

At the end of the season, each fighter will be offered a 3 fight contract.

The season playoffs will commence at that point.

Playoff is an 8 fighter single elimination tournament.

Playoff seeding based upon regular season record.

Winner of playoff tournament will be crowned season champion and given a trophy, custom avatar, and prize purse of 150k.

Playoff contract 5k/5k/10k x 3

 

Each fighter participating in this season will donate 20k for championship purse at beginning of season. This will give extra motivation for fighters to stick around for the playoffs. Anything can happen in a single elimination tournament. 150k of the 160k donated will make up the championship purse, and the other 10k will go to the fighter with the most 1st round KOs from the regular season. In the event of a tie, the same fighter vs tie will determine the tiebreaker.

Make your fighter and join today! Season schedule will be given after 8th fighter joins the division. Fighters will then have 3 weeks before the first round of fights takes place. Season fights will take place 21 days apart. Tournament fights will be 21 days apart. Full season will commence and end within 6 months. Fighters are not obligated to stay, but welcomed to stay for the following season.

All schedules will be posted for managers to view and updated each round.

The 265+ division is now openly recruiting OPEN ID for this same format. Contracts will be adjusted to compensate the higher quality of fighter. If you have a guy who's the baddest mofo around, put him in here and let him dominate the season and win a championship against the best of the best! Nobody can argue you got lucky by wining this thing, it is going to take skill and consistency to win the championship. And the trophy will be yours forever! (In order to make this more interesting with high profile fighters, the entry fee is 50k per fighter, and the champion will take the full purse of 400k)
