Benefits of Owning Something?

It's just more fun. More to do in the game. It's also a little more stressful. There shouldn't a direct benefit to your fighters or anything like that, as that would pretty much be cheating. But running a company can be great fun.

The benefit to not owning a company and still having VIP is you get more days of VIP for the same price if you don't run a company.

If you meant the benefit of owning one type of company over another, just read up on them in the wiki and see which is more your style. Depends how much time you want to invest each week and which you think would be the most enjoyable.

If I own say a clothing company does that mean my manager has more money and I can give my fighters more money when they are low? So then I can have a prospect never fight but train for 6 months til he is a beast and then put him in his first match?

I own a fight org and it is a lot of work but its also quite enjoyable. I don't find it to be stressful though. If it ever got to the point where I was stressed out about running my company I would sell it and focus on managing my fighters.

I like the fact that it gives me something to do every time I login. Theres always a fighter requesting a fight or rematch, an event to set up or recruiting to be done. Thats the big advantage, for me anyway. The constant activity. And once you've held an event you can bask in the glow of your profits(hopefully) and than it all begins again. Thats why I love it anyway. I don't want to speak for anyone else.

No...at least not for a while. You take out a loan to start your company and then run it off of that loan. You can't take out any of that loan money for your manager or your fighters. When you have profit, you can take out that money for yourself and give it to your fighters, but it will probably take you awhile to turn a profit. And you wouldn't want to just pull all your profits out unless you've paid all of your loan back and have plenty of money to still run your company, even if something goes wrong. You'd want a cushion.

It is possible to lose your VIP status if you run your company into the ground. I'm not saying you would do that at all, but it probably wouldn't be a good idea to try to benefit your fighters with a company for a long time after you start one.

I see it as two totally different aspects of the game. I've got my fighters here and my company over there, both are tons of fun.

Aaaahhhh ok. So if I am a VIP my benefits as a fighter are that I get more details about my opponents and such though right?

Its not really MORE, information, its just laid out in a much more readable way. Its way easier to interpret all the data with the VIP tools.

Not more about your opponent, but more about your own fighter. You can see if your fighters are a "high remarkable" (100) or "low remarkable" (109), for example, which can help come fight time. Like if you're high remarkable at elbows and low remarkable at knees, it helps you choose which way to set that slider.

I couldn't imagine playing the game without the 'Tycoon assistaint'. The assistaint shows a lot more information about your own fighters' skill levels and how they improve through training. I don't know how I'd train my fighters without the assitaint!

This thread has been very helpful for me. I became a VIP member and I am glad I did. Feel free to check out my clothing line.

Its well worth every penny. Makes the game 10 times better, in my opinion.

I am having just as much fun with my own company as with my fighters. Plus its cool going and working out custom gear for specific people/organizations/gyms. I have just made an EWB org specific hoodie. I made a gym specific t-shirt for that owner and he paid me good coin for it and bought all of them up.

This is so much fun.

I'm glad you're enjoying it. Spread the word so it grows.

I'm so tempted to start a company, but I don't want to overextend myself. Plus I like the fact that I get a few days added to my VIP. The one reason I'm considering it is so I have something to look forward to every day. It seems like it gives you a reason to come back more often.

Really tempting, though.

Definitely worth sacrificing the extra time, IMO. Once Sydney gets added tomorrow you'll have the chance to get in on the ground floor with a new company in a new city. Everybody will be on equal footing. I can't think of a better time to start up a fight org or gym.

Yeah, running a company really makes the experience for me, personally.

It requires a ton of time [fight org, especially].

It carries with it a fair bit of frustration.

HOWEVER,

It makes the experience much more fulfilling knowing that you are helping to shape the game for other, real users. It really is in some ways a business simulation when owning a company as well. It's great to try to build hype for your brand in this really competitive environment.

I completely agree. Its very cool knowing that you can affect other peoples experience with the game. It kinda makes me feel like God.

I dont have good photoshop skills or anything so having a clothing company has been a little bit difficult. I havent been making as much money as I expected. Its still fun though.
