Gator001
I have noticed there are some managers (a couple) in orgs I am in that have fighters 20+ lbs below the weight class they are in, when there is the right level weight classes available, i.e 130lb fighter in 155lb weight class when there is both 135 and 145 classes in the org. (Note: this is just an example) I understand sometimes guys go for a second belt but that's not the case in most of the examples I have seen and it seems to be happening a lot just lately? My question is, what is the reasoning for this?
HareRumpler
Perhaps the game is giving too much of an advantage to the speed and conditioning/lack of tiring for those that are fighting that far below their opponent, so they're taking advantage of it? Gator001
so there is an advantage being much lighter?
KellyM5
From my experience, lighter is better. I've seen fights in this game where guys who are like 135ers KO 600 pound men, lol. The speed advantage is (almost) always better than the power advantage when it comes to weight.
Gator001
ok thanks for that
JakeF
Speed advantage and energy recovery is insane for lower weights, but that doesn't mean you should start fighting 135lb fighters at heavy weight. I mean, I feel there is a silent gentlemen agreement to have your weight at least equal to division weight(185 lbs min for middleweight), or at least it is fair to do it this way. Except for heavyweight, there I am always looking to have at least 240lbs. Feel free to reject any fight where opponent is trying to exploit the lower weight advantage as well, when i was running an org, i wasn't allowing such shit to happen. 8

10thPlanetKT
Lighter = Faster in this game engine nowadays. Just look at any of my fights if you want examples lol .http://www.mmatycoon.com/managerprofilemanager.php?MgrID=129483 Though if you are having trouble beating light fighters that are faster and your guy has KO Power and at least wonderful striking defense you can land most of your shots and knock him out. So in my opinion it can be countered with the right sliders.
Zello
I got a fighter Jose Canseco at 245 fighting at 265. Now I wanted to do the weight thing being lighter thinking it'd help. But Going up against 265-280 people sometimes those punches can knock you out. It's all about having the right sliders unfortunately I suck.
