Things like "They're going to bring over their culture here, they won't drop it, and they'll try and enforce it on me". I was like "Fair enough, I wouldn't like to have to say Happy Holidays over Merry Christmas"...but at the same time I'd love to sit this Irishman down, look him in the eye, and simply say the word "Boston". I would guess it would probably have happened sooner (due to easier access to firearms) and these things would probably happen more frequently (due to easier access to firearms) as it is no secret that these people are present in countries all around europe already, from what I gather especially in France. Perhaps innocent armed civilians would have defused a terrorist situation sooner (perhaps not) but it would not prevent them from happening. Another friend who caught 25 years for robbing a drug dealer. Another who caught 15 years for assault with a deadly weapon. another caught 12 years for sale charges. which of these crimes are the worst? and who got the least amount of time? The system is broken, and to an extremely frustrating point, when you see rapist and pedophiles getting slaps on the wrist in comparison to others - I read that in NY and Detroit over 100 grams of cocaine is a life sentence (I really doubt this, maybe 1000 grams)... that's less than 4 ounces.. you seriously can get that from a middle man for under 4 grand... if that's true, it's fucked up. And it's not fucked up in retrospect. Don't sell coke. Morale of the story. As far as my opinion goes any attack on a person, especially of that nature, or anything where someone is in your home when they shouldn't be then they get what they deserve. None of this 'use reasonable force'. No one made them do it. It's like if an idiot walks into a tiger enclosure and get killed and the whole world is 'they deserve it'.
