You need a bit of cash to buy your starting stock, but clothing companies are the easiest ones to start I think in terms of initial investment so should not be a problem for you. Then you basically just need some graphics skills to make the clothes images. Do some marketing on the forums and find a good org to work with as merchandise partner. This will get you event sales and also help with marketing to players. Don't spend too much on sponsorships until you can afford it.
