Rap Off Battleground i like it all though text battles i don't like as much as vocal ones some punch lines can only be really appreciated when you can hear them in text battles you just don't get the same delivery.

This thread just doesn't have the exposure the other did. It's like switching from Sony or Universal to some independent label. Grant and Dino CBA to put their lyrical word play without an audience.

I don't see why it doesn't, if people want to see a rap off then why wouldn't they come to the rap off thread? I didn't feel it was appropriate for General Game Discussion.

Why the wording was a joke there is some truth to it (except I have no idea if GBK and CK are boycotting or busy). This forum just doesn't get the same view count as General Game I believe and it's going to take some time for it to gain some speed either way because this thread isn't listed on everyone's My Content page yet so it's not easy to find unless you follow the closing link. It's also possible many saw it was closed and just moved on.

 

It was a fun ride tho in the other thread so I hope the epic battle of GBK/CK continues but from a moderator's perspective that close and redirect needed to happen. It was never going to be the popular move but it was either that or let an off topic rap battle continue to derail a thread about everyone douching themselves up.

It's true it doesn't get the same number of views but I've linked this thread on the thread which was derailed, it's up to them if they want to continue their rap off or not and if people want to continue to see what was posted. I hope they do because it seems like a couple of people were enjoying it.
