WYG- Lmao yeah i dont hit the hardest in this division but they can't take all the credit, you do have a good chin. Your stamia surprised me as well being that your matches never last that long.

Like I said though, Diaz you are a boring fighter. Its either that or I make you look like shitty fighter. Take your chose.

I did like the build up into this fight and you one of the top competitors in our division so we are bound to fight again. Maybe next time for a bigger prize...

Fernando "Lover Boy" Diaz (263716)

You win this one. I don't need 3 judges to tell me i win my fights as I end them.

But hey, you are the first person that i have not been able to submit and you executed your gameplan well. You were able to prevent me from submitting you and to that i will give you credit. Extra marks for not leaving a mark on my beautiful face ;)

But as you said, i will bounce back. And you are a tough competitor. I am sure our paths will cross again and i look forward to it.

EFC: Lace Up Preview

Spencer Kilco reporting for £4£: The best for MMA News, Views and Reviews

Saturday night EFC will be asking twenty men to shut up and lace up (no boots will be worn in the cage) when they return to the Liberty Dome for a huge 265 lbs title rematch. Barney Gumble (20-5) has called for a rematch after dropping the belt to Clinton "Baked Fish" Offley (16-3) only a week ago!

265 lbs Championship Fight: Clinton Offley vs Barney Gumble

The two fought last month with Offley pulling the upset with a submission win in less than a minute of the first round. He’s not put a foot wrong since dropping his former manager and now working with Max Bennet. A four fight win streak plus winning the championship the last time out must be sky rocketing his confidence. The Nassauvian fight now based in New York is a solid wrestler and a brown belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu but it’s hard to imagine him having the skill right now to be dominant champion. Offley is defiantly the underdog but he’s already over throne Gumble if he can just do it again everyone will have to agree he earned the belt.

The previous champ, Gumble, only had two defences before losing it Offley. He’s going to be annoyed about the blemish on his record but surly thinks he can win it back. Every one loves an underdog yet the EFC fans love is still with Barney Gumble. An exceptional fighter on his feet scoring 19 KO wins including beating Offley at Highland Games 49 in January of this year. And being able to hold his own with decent wrestling it is hard to think he lost the belt in their original match up. The bookies will be on the side of Gumble yet the fans will be torn between the two. This was all the makings of being EFC main event of the year!

135 lbs co-main event: Kirk Lancaster vs Jensen Haye

The New Zealander Lancaster (6-4) is coming of a decision loss when he goes up against British all-rounder Haye (6-1). Lancaster is going to want to get back to winning but has an uphill struggle in this fight. Look for this to become a wrestling match as Lancaster won’t be able to compete with Haye’s standup. Haye was all the tools of an extremely strong fighter. With a six fight win streak Haye is going to use this opportunity to show the world how good he is and if he’s contender quality. On paper its Haye’s fight to win.

135 lbs: Jet Hemi vs Dale La Grande

Being champion still fresh in his memory La Grande (11-2) needs to get some wins in to be consider a contender again. Coming off a decision win Le Grande is going want to turn that into a streak using his powerful muay thai and wrestling to disarm his opponent. Hemi (10-9) however may be hard to disarm. With unbelievable boxing ability if this fight stays standing it’s hard to think it won’t end in a KO for Hemi. Le Grande needs to clinch and keep Hemi in close to avoid being out boxed.

145 lbs: Kicky McLegs vs Paul Teixeira

McLegs (5-0) has had a great early career and now with a new manager that has changed gym and brought him into the EFC it sees the Korean is more focused than ever. With absolutely no punch power McLegs is going to have to wall and stall Teixeira (5-1). A great all round fighter Teixeira could out box or out wrestle McLegs. Coming off his first lose the Brazilian is going to want to put the rookie in his place getting back to winning. A battle of focus and who wants it more?

265+ lbs: Rickety Cricket vs Bio Hazard

Cricket (6-0) and Hazard (2-1) are both incredible wrestlers that are competent everywhere else with all eight of their combined wind by KO. If I was a betting man I wouldn’t put my money anywhere near this one. On paper these two are perfectly matched, which could make for fight of the night. Hazard is still a rookie wanting to build on his record while Cricket doesn’t intend to stop his fantastic streak anytime soon. I would put money on this one being fight of the night!

135 lbs: Sum Ting Wong vs Jasun Wharton

Wong (6-2) relies on his wrestling to overpower his opponents but Wharton (6-3) can easily match him in that department. Wharton is a decent all-rounder that is coming off a submission win and has all the tools to turn into a streak. The china man is going to try not let that happen, coming off a loss to Dale La Grande he needs a good rebound win. Wong is only going to achieve that by getting Wharton up against the cage and keeping him there otherwise Wong may not be able to answer Wharton’s arsenal of skills.

135 lbs: Nigel Benn Jnr vs Joseph Taylor

Australian Taylor (6-2) is a decent fighter who finds his wins on met via submissions. Coming off a win he has to be determined to have a great run in EFC. Expect the The Dark Destroyer stands in his way. The English man Benn (4-0) is fantastic in the clinch and on the ground which seems to be where Taylor would prefer to go. Benn has all the skills to out fight Taylor however struggles to finish fights, all four wins by decision. But you know the 21 year old is going to put on the fight of his life to continue that impressive undefeated streak.

265 lbs: Rick Rude vs Capital Punishment

Two men who need a win if they wish to continue being taken seriously Rude (4-3) and Punishment (5-5) are both coming off losses. Neither want to continue to loss, however what does make this fight interesting is that they are both boxers. Although the German "Ravishing" Rick Rude is probably the better boxer. If punishment can’t match his boxing it’s hard to think he can beat Rude.

170 lbs: Oleg Bartowski vs Luigi Bates

Bartowski (10-5) has made a fast drop to bottom of the card. Two fights ago he was fighting Tony Bullard for the EFC welterweight belt. But now with a two loss streak he needs a win to ever be considered a contender again. His opponent Bates (3-0) has a promising career ahead of him. Yet he hasn’t really proven himself as all wins have been by way of decision. Bates is a good all-rounder so could impose himself to prove he can stand and trade with contenders.

Executioner Get Chopped

After that big event where our heads rolled, we might as well chop it off this time. To follow up a sold out crowd in Credit Card Center, we move on to the Liberty Dome. Attendance was a near sell out with a 4968 head count. The main event features the Executioner Lightweight and Light Heavyweight championships. Let's get to the match reviews.

Preliminary Card

Bantamweight Bout

Mizzieko "The Ninja" Bestro (1-3-0) vs Oke "The Night Terror" Yagin (3-0-0)

Yagin shows some power by knocking out his 3rd straight opponent with some strikes. Bestro's now on a slump with 3 defeats.

Winner: Yagin by 1st round TKO(Strikes)

Lightweight Bout

Erick "Tornado" Clap (2-1-0) vs Reggie "The Constant" Wayne (0-2-0)

The second meeting between both warriors. Clap won the match again but now with a decision.

Winner: Clap by Majority Decision

Super Heavyweight Bout

Otto Hauser (6-1-0) vs Mason "The Hammer" Hill (7-3-0)

Knockout artist Hauser faced Hill in this Boxing vs MT matchup. Hauser prevails in the 2nd round.

Winner: Hauser by 2nd round TKO(Punches)

Welterweight Bout

Better "Off" Dead (12-8-0) vs Giacomo "Italian Stallion" Ysengrin (2-2-0)

Dead is known to be a KO artist as he garnered his 6th KO of the night award. Ysengrin is just another bad luck fighter who got in his way.

Winner: Dead by 1st round KO(Punch)

Lightweight Bout

Where Yo Girl (6-1-0) vs Fernando "Lover Boy" Diaz (6-1-0)

Got to mention this one as things have heated up between these two fighters. Where Yo Girl provoked Diaz and he proved his worth by winning the match. Diaz says that he'll be back after the next TWGC so let's watch out for this, knowing that Yo Girl will be having his title match soon. Interesting...

Winner: Girl by Unanimous Decision

The preliminary matches were fought greatly by these aspiring fighters. 3 matches ended with a finish, not bad to set up the main card. Winners might have climbed up their ladders, specially Dead(top contender) and Girl(6th).

MAIN CARD

Heavyweight Bout

San Terra (15-10-0) vs Tang Bang (5-3-0)

We enter the main card with a Heavyweight brawl between Terra and Bang. Terra is known to be a brawler, ending most of his matches in a finish. Terra outclassed Bang in this one, not letting Bang land a clean shot against Terra. He finished Bang with a bang in the second round where he landed an uppercut followed by a big right hand to the head.

Winner: Terra by 2nd round TKO (Strikes)

Middleweight Bout

Angel Face (8-1-0) vs Marcus Child (2-2-0)

What kind of angel would toy a poor child? It's Angel Face. He showed no kindness as he dominated the match against the younger Marcus Child. Face is next challenger for the title and this just happened to be a stepping stone for him. Angel indeed has power as he TKO'd his opponents in all his 8 victories and who knows what will happen in his shot at the title despite his evident inferiority in the ground.

Winner: Face by 2nd round KO (Punch)

Light Heavyweight Championship

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1b14.jpg vs http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1w8.jpg

Hughtavious Mingo (13-3-0) vs Joe Durham (7-1-0)

The result of this match is very predictable. With Mingo, the champ superior in boxing MT and wrestling, all Durham could hope for was a takedown from Mingo or the other way around. Durham was unsuccessful in this aspect and the champ just outclassed him. In the middle of the first round, Mingo knocks Durham down with a big right hand and follows up with a monster hook as Durham was knocked out cold. Great power exhibited by the champ right there. Now he is up to face Jimmie Craig who earned his shot at the title.

Winner: Mingo by 1st round KO (Punch)

Light Heavyweight Bout

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/21/21w17.jpg vs http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/31/31w8.jpg

Jimmie Craig (15-6-0) vs "the Monkey Man" Dieter Von Sprockets (11-5-0)

This bout is more of a match for the number 1 contender position. Both fighters have been to title matches and the winner of this one proceeds to face Mingo in a title match. Craig is the slight favorite in this one statistically and he proved it by knocking out Von Sprockets in the 1st round. Former champ Von Sprockets had nothing to do in the standup battle and Craig just capitalized on his advantage. Late in the 1st round, that 1-2 combo by Craig threw Von Sprockets off his guard and Craig just kept hammering so hard that the referee had to stop it. Not the best call for a TKO but at least it saved Von Sprockets from a worse injury.

Winner: Craig by 1st round TKO (Strikes)

Lightweight Championship

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/21/21b15.jpg vs http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/42/42w9.jpg

Garrick "Off His" Head (7-2-0) vs Tony "The Wrecking Ball" Bullard (20-3-0)

The main event is an exciting match where reigning champ Bullard faced a great challenger in the presence of Garrick Head. Head proved to be a worthy challenger by defeating the champ in 5 long rounds of thrilling MMA. Both fighters decided kept the fight standing and focused more on strikes and clinches. This match could've gone either way around as the three judges score 47-48 in favor of Head. Head just threw more variations that landed specially in the clinch where he got higher efficiency than Bullard. He was also able to block 6 clinch attempts from Bullard which cost him some points. Overall, it was a great match deserving to be Fight of the Night. Now we've got a new champ on the rise and he's up to face Where Yo Girl who just earned his shot by defeating Fernando Diaz in a 3 round bout.

Winner: Head by Unanimous Decision

Special Awards:

KO of the night: Better Dead

Fight of the night: Head vs Bullard

Wow, mad props to Spencer Kilco! Looks like we got ourselves a new writer for the org. Keep up the good work man! Great job on the break-down of the upcoming EFC:Lace Up card where a new Bantamweight contender will emerge. Also, kudos to philofthefuture for his review of the Executioner Get Chopped Card. Nice to see a lot of great writers filling the gap left by Mr. Shtaaf and Owner JJ media.

WYG- I'm sorry but it is really hard to take someone who nicknamed himself "The Real King" seriously who got butt raped by Ali Roumani twice. You couldn't even make it out of the first round lol. Please stay out of a BJJ conversation until you actually can have weight in the discussion.

Are you really talking about ko power!? When was the last time you knocked someone out who wasnt on life support? Between us two i'm actually the one who has had the most recent ko. You just prove you are in a weak ass division if some like you can be champ.

Now Stay in your god damn weak weight class and enjoy your belt before i drop down and smack the shit out of you.

Haha you really have a big mouth don't you, first of all you talk about my defeat against roumani that's great but do you even fought him in the past to know his level ? What do you know about BJJ except your damned blue belt ? You are talking about my last knockout and that is also funny because in your all life you never knockout anyone excepted a poor little guy who is already retired with only 4 fights, what do you know about fighting I have more knockout than you will ever have. And I have nothing to win by fighting you, if you had the belt it would have been a pleasure but you never will so that is meanless.

As for you, first of all you seem to be smarter than your last opponent but you still made a mistake, I did not call out any of you, but maybe in the future when you will have more experience we might do it. Until then keep working on your BJJ and next time you take a blue belt down submit him, you win all your fight by submission continue that way but stop saying you are the best because you're not.

The contract for my 3rd title defense has now been signed, and my training camp starts now. I would like to applaud Jet Hemi's Vitor Belfort-esque resurgence over his last 4 fights, that was really something else. If the org gives out like a comeback-fighter award, it should totally be given to you. Our upcoming fight is going to be an all-out barn burner so don't miss it guys.

I would also like to give a shout-out to former 145lb champ, Jesus Montalban. I see you've dropped down to BW. Nice to see another killer has been added to the division. Boy, looks like I would really have my work cut out for me this coming weeks.

Executioner: Lace Up
REVIEW
Yesterday, July 11, 2015, MMA fans head to the Liberty Dome as the sold out event Executioner Lace Up was held. With an outstanding lineup, featuring two title matches, a full 5250 attendance was attained. Lace Up features the third faceoff of the superheavyweights Clinton Offley and Barney Gumble. Before this match, each of them scored 1-1 and Offley was the champ going in this one. Gumble managed to pull off with the win strategically in this one, gaining some critics.
To back it up, recently crowned middleweight champ Arnavut Sevket defends his title against the challenger Angel Face. Undercards were mostly filled with interesting fighters, mostly bantamweights and heavyweights. There were a total of 8 finishes, including the top 3 matches. Despite having a not so good main event, our tickets were still not wasted.
(Records stated show new records after their fights)
Preliminary Matches
Match 1: Bantamweight bout
"The Dark Destroyer" Nigel Benn Jnr (5-0-0) vs Joseph "Squizzy" Taylor (6-3-0)
Undefeated Nigel Benn finally proves his KO capabilities as he got his first finish in his 5 wins. Benn just destroyed Taylor in the clinch in this one.
Result: Benn Jnr by 1st round TKO (Strikes)
Match 2: Heavyweight bout
Capital "C-Murder" Punishment (6-5-0) vs "RAVISHING " Rick Rude (4-4-0)
Punishment's desperation to get takedown pulled off as he quickly managed to get a submission as they got to the ground. Take note, he missed 7 of his 8 takedowns. Persistence pays!
Result: Punishment by Submission (Americana)
Match 3: Bantamweight bout
Sum Ting Wong (7-2-0) vs Jasun Wharton (6-4-0)
Was there something wrong with the match? Yes. It was a one sided parade for Sum Ting Wong as he clinchraped Wharton who basically wasn't able to do anything
Result: Wong by Unanimous decision
Match 4: Featherweight Bout
Paul Teixeira (6-1-0) vs Kicky McLegs (5-1-0)
Teixeira (21) wasn't really on his best shape but he managed to defeat the undefeated McLegs (26) by submitting him late in the first. Very expected win when they got to the ground.
Result: Teixeira by 1st round submission (Kimura)
Match 5: Superheavyweight Bout
Rickety Cricket (7-0-0) vs Bio Hazard (2-2-0)
Rickety Cricket, at a young age (18) has proven to have a flourishing career as he bagged his 7th win in his early career, all via TKO. Amazing finish by Cricket.
Result: Cricket by 2nd round TKO (Strikes)
MAIN CARD
Match 6: Bantamweight bout
http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14131958627399.jpg vs http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40w20.jpg
Jensen Haye (7-1-0) vs Kirk Lancaster (6-5-0)
Both fighters gave their all in 3 rounds but Have proved to be the better fighter as he had more efficient moves. Haye got all rounds but kudos to Lancaster for not giving up. Lancaster has been cut shortly after losing twice in a row. Not a bad pickup for a 20 year old (good chin and confidence). Meanwhile, Haye has been on a role since his only defeat in his debut match, winning 7 straight.
Result: Haye by Unanimous Decision
Match 7: Welterweight bout
http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13962632982652.jpg vs http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/37/37w43.jpg
Luigi "The Green Plumber" Bates (4-0-0) vs Oleg Bartowski (10-6-0)
Overall, Bates has the advantage in this one and he's proved it by submitting Bartowski right in the first round. When both fighters seemed to fail in their takedown attempts, Bates went to a clinch and succeeds with the takedown. In a just a few seconds after the takedown, Bates quickly managed to get the submission locked on. Great performance by Bates earning him the Sub of the Night award.
Result: Bates by 1st round Submission (Triangle)
Match 8: Bantamweight bout
http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14077486028806.jpg vs http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14261047341529.png
Jet Hemi (11-9-0) vs "Dangerous" Dale La Grande (11-3-0)
Right off the bat, La Grande decided to bring the match to the clinch. It was a good move but Hemi started to connect a lot of punches to the head causing La Grande to lose control. That short right hook by Hemi shook La Grande up and he finishes with a powerful uppercut followed by a series of strikes causing the referee to call a TKO, eventually earning KO of the night honors.
Hemi proved that records don't matter in the cage. Hemi came back from a bad career standing when he was 7-9-0. Now he's at 4 straight wins and got a shot at the champion Devin Jaqquard. They are bound to meet on EFC: Protect Ya Neck on the 29th so don't forget to secure a ticket.
Result: Hemi by 1st round TKO(Punches)
Co-Main Event
Middleweight Championship
http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/13/13w11.jpg vs http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/32/32w7.jpg
Arnavut "The Bird Man" Sevket (17-3-0) vs Angel "The Real Deal" Face (8-2-0)
Sevket is the favored fighter in this one as he is a bit superior skillwise compared to Face. As expected, Sevket will look to bring this to the ground as he has the clear advantage over the white belt Angel Face. Sevket gets the wonderful takedown and barrages some GnP right after. Face tried to hold on and his desperation paid off when he survived a near TKO situation. The match got stood up in the last minute and Sevket tried to end it quickly but Face managed to survive. In the second round, Sevket had the same gameplan and it was just too much for Face too handle.
The best middleweight on the Island Season 3 continues to impress me as he immediately defended his title a week after his previous defense. With an astonishing record for 17-3-0, he continues to knock enemies out of his way including the challenger Angel Face. Angel Face was a rightful contender and with only short breaks within the matches of both fighters, both have proven to be adjustable fighters. Great match for us, despite the short breaks, earning them Fight of the night award.
Result: Sevket via 2rd round TKO (Strikes)
MAIN EVENT
Heavyweight Championship

Clinton "Baked Fish" Offley (16-4-0) vs Barney Gumble (21-5-0)
Here comes the rematch that we have waited since Executioner: Heads will Roll! For those new to this amazing rivalry, this is the third faceoff between both fighters, tracing way back to the Island. Gumble had the more prosperous career in the Island but Offley earned his payback last July 8 2015, making their head to head record 1-1, both ending with finishes. They enter this match with heads high as they aim to beat the other with fashion to make a statement.
Right after the bell, sources say that Gumble looks to counter primarily on this one. Not really the best decision for the fans here but it's a wise move to consider that he lost in a first round submission to Offley. Gumble succeeded with some early counters and managed to cut Offley early in the first. A series of aggresive takedown attempts by Offley just continually gets stuffed by Gumble who focused on counters. When Offley finally managed to get his first takedown from the clinch, he desperately tried to submit Gumble who was leading up until that point. However, Gumble successfully defends against those sub attempts until he manages to get back up. Offley got his second takedown eventually but it was too late as the bell rung for the 3rd round. Later on, it all become a match dominated by Gumble as Offley's attempted keep getting blocked and countered, and his cut worsening as each hit lands. The match was stopped as soon as it got too bad. Gumble regained his title from Offley and looks to defend sometime soon.
It was not really the best match we could've seen for a main event title match. Offley was too aggressive and Gumble played too safe, that it ensured him the victory. Who am I to judge how they both fight. I'm just saying that the match didn't build up to the hype it built. Who knows if Offley chose to adjust his strategy in game and not stick to the checkmated gameplan? Who knows if Gumble and Offley went all aggression and we could've seen an all out match or a quick finish. Anyway. Let's just stay tuned for more Executioner Events to see what happens!
Result: Gumble by 4th round TKO(Cut)
Special Awards:
KO of the Night: Jet Hemi
Sub of the Night: Luigi Bates
Fight of the Knight: Sevket vs Face

EFC: Bad Moon

Preview

Are your tickets ready for the next EFC event on July 18 2015? If not, then buy one now as we head to the Liberty Dome in New York for EFC: Bad Moon. The event features The champ Hughtavious Mingo defends his EFC light heavyweight belt against challenger Jimmie Craig after successfully earning his title shot title last July 8 in Executioner: Get Chopped. The main card also includes interesting matches such as Cross vs Wad, former lightweight champ Better Dead going up against rising star AK Kuwalski, and many more! A lot of interesting matchups in this one so make sure you don't miss this.

Moving on, here is the full fight preview for the card.

PRELIMINARY MATCHES

Lightweight bout

Riley "Hipster" Molovgomedov (0-1-0) vs Ray Malenko (7-1-0)

After training for almost a year, Molovgomedov goes back to the ring as he faces a superior ground, Ray Malenko, who is now on a 7-1 feat.

prediction: Malenko by 1st round submission

Light Heavyweight bout

Duane "Brainsmasher" Perry (4-2-0) vs Marcus Gustav (3-2-1)

This seems to be a giveaway match for Perry as he faces a discouraged and less skilled fighter in Gustav. Gustav's chances are so slim in this one.

prediction: Brainsmasher by 1st round TKO

Heavyweight bout

Tang Bang (5-3-0) vs Jan "Jay-Jay" Jedrzejczyk (2-1-0)

In contrast with the previous match, this one is closely contested as great 20 year old fighters go face to face in this one. There is no evident advantage on both sides and both fighters might go for a finish

prediction: Bang by 2nd round TKO

Welterweight bout

Oleg Bartowski (10-6-0) vs Alberto Contador (7-3-0)

After a 1st round loss in Executioner Lace Up, Bartowski immediately accepts a match against Contador, who dominated his opponent in Executioner Heads will Roll. Both fighters almost at the same level with Contador having a slight MT advantage.

prediction: Contador by 2nd round TKO

Middleweight bout

Phil Taylor (3-0-0) vs Dean "The Spider" Kane (4-0-0)

Two young undefeated fighters go face to face in this one. Pure standup fighter Taylor will go up against the purple belt Kane. Kane has greater chances in this one as his BJJ skills are far superior. Taylor's MT will go up against Kane's boxing as they each have their own arsenals. It depends on how they play it.

prediction: Taylor by 1st round TKO

MAIN CARD

Bantamweight bout

Ville "Toto" Ahokas (6-3-0) vs "The Crown Prince" Arthas Menethil (7-2-0)

Ahokas makes his comeback a month after losing to Lancaster. He faces Menethil who also will make a comeback from a lopsided loss against the EFC Bantamweight champion Jaqquard. Menethil has not been knocked out before so Ahokas will need to do his best and knock out Menethil before he takes it to the ground. Will Ahokas watch out for a takedown or will he go for the quick TKO? A win in this one will give him a boost in his ranking

Prediction: Ahokas by 2nd round TKO

Heavyweight bout

Ahti Kaleva (7-3-1) vs Garcia Vega (11-6-0)

TWGC Heavyweight champ Kaleva takes his talents to the MMA as he faces ex-island fighter Vega who's not been doing so good in his career, losing 3 out of his 4 matches recently. Kaleva on the other hand will look to take Vega down and try to use his BJJ advantage over Vega. Vega should watch out for that one and use his standup advantage over Kaleva.

Prediction: Kaleva by 1st round TKO

Welterweight Bout

Better "Off" Dead (12-8-0) vs Aleksander "AK" Kawulski (6-0-0)

Dead continues his pursuit of his rival Tony Bullard, the current champion in the 170 lbs division. Dead sits atop the contender ladder but his opponent Aleksander Kuwalski is still undefeated with a clean 6-0-0 record. Kuwalski is not a gifted fighter physically but he uses his skills well and manages to get the wins through various techniques. This match is interesting because a knockout artist Dead will face a tactical Kuwalski, two opposing techniques. Great match to see ladies and gentlemen!

Prediction: Kuwalski by decision

Heavyweight bout

Magnus "Bear" Cross (15-10-0) vs Dick Wad (12-5-0)

Two brawling barbaric giants face off in a match to set up the main event! Magnus Cross, 15 wins, 15 TKOs against Dick Wad, 12 wins 12 TKOs. Each fighter have proved to be of KO potential but Cross' 6 TKO losses can be a sign that he's not that tough against strong fighters, however his superior boxing can be a great weapon against Dick Wad, who at the same time has had problems in his morale for unknown reasons. At the ground, there is no significant advantage over the other but Wad can pull this off with his MT. With these situations, I think Cross has got this one and I think he will win this with a great margin mainly because Cross' morale problems. A great way to come back from a 2 match losing streak.

Prediction: Cross by 1st round TKO

MAIN EVENT

Hughtavious Mingo (13-3-0) vs Jimmie Craig (15-6-0)

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1b14.jpg VS http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/21/21w17.jpg

We got a very exciting matchup in this one as Light Heavyweight Champion Hughtavious Mingo defends his title for the 3rd time. This time he faces his number 1 contender Jimmi Craig. Both island fighters have gone way beyond expectation as they ventured to the world level after competing in the Island tournament. Mingo sits high atop number 38 among Light Heavyweights and is now on a 9-1 feat. Craig on the other hand has won 3 of his 4 matches. Both fighters in good form entering this one.

The last time these 2 fighters met was in WC: Dirty Boxing 2 last May 2015. Mingo won with a quick TKO against Craig without getting hit! Both fighters have trained in their respective gyms and developed skills which may have not been present before. Mingo has a slight advantage in all aspects but it's not enough to count Craig out in this one. Both fighters have got the power and the technique to grab a win in this one so it will boil down to the match itself.

Will Mingo show dominance once again or will Craig avenge his loss to Mingo. Who knows? You don't want to miss this one.

That's all for today. Thanks!

Dick Wad (12-5)

There's nothing better than fighting a guy you respect. I had the honour of fighting with San Terra again last time out and now Magnus Cross has stepped up. Magnus is a brilliant puncher and I'm gonna have to watch myself at all times. Magnus has a few losses recently but this guy has been fighting for a long time but his record isn't a fair representation of his ability. He brings it every time and this should be a great fight. I hope that I can slowly move towards getting a shot at that belt. My career hasn't always been great and while I blame myself, I also blame Barney Gumble. He took that belt from me a long time ago and I've been studying his tape every single day since. The Barney Gumble who dominated everyone is gone but I can bring him back out and beat him once and for all. Magnus Cross, let's have a great fight but I feel it's my destiny to take you out.

Some highlights include light heavyweight champ Hughtavious Mingo successfully defending his belt for the second time, Magnus Cross beating Dick Wad, and Better Dead with an exemplary flying knee, knocking out the undefeated Kuwalski.

DETAILS

Venue: Liberty Dome

Attendance: 5250 (SOLD OUT)

Event Rating: 286.89

Finishes: 9/10 (8 first round TKOs)

Merch Partner: Big Bear Nutrition 160Q

PRELIMINARY MATCHES

(Records are updated)

Lightweight bout

Riley "Hipster" Molovgomedov (0-2-0) vs Ray Malenko (8-1-0)

Pre-fight prediction: Malenko by 1st round submission

Molovgomedov was able to win the clinch but Malenko scored a takedown and finished him right after.

Result: Malenko by 1st round submission (Arm Triangle)

Light Heavyweight bout

Duane "Brainsmasher" Perry (5-2-0) vs Marcus Gustav (3-3-1)

Pre-fight prediction: Brainsmasher by 1st round TKO

Brainsmasher clearly the dominant fighter in this one as he outclassed Gustav with a series of strikes ending it quickly.

Result: Brainsmasher by 1st round KO (Punch)

Heavyweight bout

Tang Bang (5-4-0) vs Jan "Jay-Jay" Jedrzejczyk (3-1-0)

Jedrzejczyk was the more efficent striker which lead to an uppercut that led to the TKO

Pre-fight prediction: Bang by 2nd round TKO

Result: Jedrzejczyk by 1st round TKO (Strikes)

Welterweight bout

Oleg Bartowski (10-5-0) vs Alberto Contador (8-3-0)

Pre-fight prediction: Contador by 2nd round TKO

It was a close call but Contador landed more strikes and defended 12/14 takedowns and did well defending in the ground. That must've cost Bartowski some points.

Result: Contador by Decision (Unanimous)

Middleweight bout

Phil Taylor (3-1-0) vs Dean "The Spider" Kane (5-0-0)

Pre-fight prediction: Taylor by 1st round TKO

When Kane finally got the takedown, he persistently tried to submit Taylor and got the win with an armbar.

Kane wins the battle of the undefeated and moves to a 5-0-0 record and moved up the middleweight ranking. He's currently 4-0 in EFC.

Result: Kane by 1st round Submission (Armbar)

MAIN CARD

(Records are updated)

Bantamweight bout

Ville "Toto" Ahokas (6-4-0) vs "The Crown Prince" Arthas Menethil (8-2-0)

Pre-fight prediction: Ahokas by 2nd round TKO

When things seemed not to work in the standup game, Menethil moved to the clinch and sores a takedown. He takes a win with a great maneuver, the armbar.

Menethil moves back up the Bantamweight division as he looks to gain a rematch against the champ Jaqquard. He's currently 5-1 in EFC.

Result: Menethil by 1st round Submission (Armbar)

Heavyweight bout

Ahti Kaleva (8-3-1) vs Garcia Vega (11-7-0)

Pre-fight Prediction: Kaleva by 1st round TKO

Kaleva proved why he's TWGC Champion by locking in a Kimura so quickly against Vega. When Kaleva got the takedown, it was basically over.

Result: Kaleva by 1st round Submission (Kimura)

Welterweight Bout

Better "Off" Dead (13-8-0) vs Aleksander "AK" Kawulski (6-1-0)

Pre-fight Prediction: Kawulski by decision

Better Dead gives Kawulski his first stain in his record as he escaped Kawulski's takedown, scored

some in the clinch and delivered an unexpected flying knee to the temple sending Kawulski to the mat.

Let's see if Dead plans to re-sign in EFC for another run at the title.

Result: Dead by 1st round TKO (Flying Knee)

Heavyweight bout

Magnus "Bear" Cross (16-10-0) vs Dick Wad (12-6-0)

Prediction: Cross by 1st round TKO

As expected, Wad wasn't himself as he basically didn't try to do anything in the fight. He's got some

personal issues and Magnus took advantage of that, knocking him out cold.

We see Cross getting close to a title match as he moves to the no. 2 contender among heavyweights.

Result: Cross by 1st round KO (Punch)

MAIN EVENT

Hughtavious Mingo (14-3-0) vs Jimmie Craig (15-7-0)

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1b14.jpg VS http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/21/21w17.jpg

It was a very exciting match as both fighters brawled with their full strengths. It ended in the 2nd round but both fighters seemed so exhausted in that one.

In the first round, both fighters traded blow by blow but Mingo got the early knockdown against Craig. Craig was wobbly but he was able to reverse the situation by scoring a knockdown with a combo himself. Both fighters weren't able to capitalize on those situations but Mingo's got a cut after getting hit. When they have regained senses, they again fought like brawlers. Tough fighters indeed!

In the second round, Mingo managed to score another knockdown against Craig but refuses to go to the ground. He delivers more blows and the champion's strikes were just too much for Craig. Craig's sportsmanship was evident as he breathlessly thanked his fans despite his loss to the champ Mingo.

Mingo now moves up to no. 22 among light heavyweights in world rankings. He stands firm in his throne waiting for the next contender. It is possible that either Skunk Asap or Von Sprocket will be facing Mingo soon, or there will be a rematch between Mingo and Craig.

Will Mingo's feat be stopped at 10-1 or will he continue to dominate and reach the top 10? Stay tuned.

Result: Mingo by 2nd round KO (Punches)

Luigi Bates

So I am the highest ranked fighter in the 170lbs division and i get offered a guy who is roughly 15 places below me in the ORG weight division. No I will not accept that. I came here to get the title, clearly I deserve a shot right now. I also don't understand why Tony Bullard, the plastic champion still has his belt. A - he is shit, B - he lost his last fight, C - he is no longer in this org. He saw Luigi coming and shat his pants is my best guess.

I leave you two options. Strip that belt from that disgustingly overhyped fool and set up a title fight between 2 people in the division who deserve it. Or release me so I can have a shot at the title elsewhere.

Hello everyone, I'm Dana from Sport Vibe TV! I'm here today with the one and only W...Y...G!!!!!!

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/24/24w13.jpg

Where Yo Girl (262778)

Thanks for having me. I wasn't expecting an interview in the middle of my camp though. At first I wasn't gonna do it but I have mad love for you guys at Sports Vibe so unload the questions Dana!

Dana

Ok, the first question on everybody mind is how do you feel about have the title shot against Garrick Head!? How are you preparing? What should we expect?

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/24/24w13.jpg

Wow you got right to the big question, huh? Well to be honest I saw this fight between me and Head coming for a while now. Us both fighting for the belt though? that was a true surprise to me. Garrick been inactive for 8 months before he was offered the title fight. I don't know how politics work here but I been fighting my ass off since I stepped in this organization. I don't know what that is about. As for my preparation for the fight, everything is going smoothly so far. I switched camps a little while ago to Discipline Top Team and it has been a great move. You will see the best WYG yet when that bell rings!

Dana

Recently you paid your respect to Tony Bullard for his time at the organiaztion. how did that go?

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/24/24w13.jpg

It was definitely bittersweet. He was a guy I always wanted to fight because he was a true warrior who accepted any challenge. He didn't bitch and moan like fighters such as Luigi Bates when he got offered fights. he just took them. that might have been his downfall though. Not making excuses for old man Tony, but he was given no time off during his era as a champ. he was fighting in two weight classes for crying out loud! It looks like Executioner was setting Tony up for failure while they built a young champ in the shadows.

Dana

Shots fired!? Lol you always seem to be insulting people or attacking their character. We bought something in for you to see that your most recent beef, Mamad Mouba said about you.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20150625170859EXECUTIONERBELT_zpsiw7tnnow.png 145lbs Champ

Mamad "The Real King" Mouba

Haha you really have a big mouth don't you, first of all you talk about my defeat against roumani that's great but do you even fought him in the past to know his level ? What do you know about BJJ except your damned blue belt ? You are talking about my last knockout and that is also funny because in your all life you never knockout anyone excepted a poor little guy who is already retired with only 4 fights, what do you know about fighting I have more knockout than you will ever have. And I have nothing to win by fighting you, if you had the belt it would have been a pleasure but you never will so that is me

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/24/24w13.jpg

First off, Mouba is a ugly mother fucka. Lol I'm sorry its just so hard not to laugh when looking at him. Look at him!

I swear I seen this guy in Hotel Rwanda or Blood Diamonds lol. anyway, I seen this comment of his and you know what I did? I looked at the card both of us are booked on and seen "The Real King" slotted under me. I don't talk shit to someone lower than me. He needs to focus on Ali before he comes after that ass again. Sleep with the light on Mouba lol.

Dana

Ok, one last question. What should we expect on August 8th?

With a 3 round stoppage Via knockout WYG is the new Welter Weight Champion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rodolfo "The Black Belt Hunter" Vieira

I'm glad to make my promotional debut in two weeks. I'm going up against a KO machine, so I will have to be smart, but luckily I am!

I like to smacktalk, but want to see first how my debut here goes before I really kick things of. Good luck to my opponent and lets give the fans a great show!
