SAFO 39 Turban vs Gracie

- It looks like our boy Tony did too good of a job with these write-ups, so please let Bobloblaw bring you this preview. Goddam my dick got hard writing this. What a great night of fights. As the promoter the only thing I find to possibly regret is not spreading these out. Its banger after banger after. I think you get the point.

205 Jerry Diaz vs Rocky Stallion

The nights curtain jerkers will be two new comers to the organization both with high hopes. Diaz looks to have advantages in the MT and BJJ aspects of the fight with Stallion having potentially small advantages in Boxing and wrestling. This should be a competitive fight and lead to two different starts to their professional careers.

145 Bakocevic vs Thompson

Bakocevic has started his career 0-2, but still has a lot of people believing in the potential of his career. Whereas Thompson despite being on a 4 fight win streak between ACE and SAFO comes in with little fan fare. Bakocevic is more a MT fighter, and Thompson more of a boxer. The other skills appear to be a tossup. Will Thompson, the smaller man, be able to hang tough witih Bakocevic?

185 Lahey vs Dudayev

Trevor Lahey joins us again straight out of Sunnyvale trailor park. He had a tough start to his career but has been improving his skills and his results have followed. He faces a tough up and comer in Dudayev looking to test his skills against an experienced figher in his first test. The 18 year old has been training in Russia and nobody knows exactly what to expect. Word from behind the Iron Curtain tells he is a strong grappler with potentially surprising MT. Lahey will most likely be looking to box.

155 Jackson vs Hansen

Jackson is an extremely skilled fighter young in his career. A win here over the experienced Hansen could definitely vault him onto another tier of competitors in the org. Hansen is a grizzled veteran of 28 career fights. Hansen is known for leaving the cage with or on his shield. This is an early favorite for KOTN one way or the other.

185 Wells vs Balls

Anyone who pays attention to the org knows this is a candidate for fight of the night. A rematch of their 185lb title fight. These two are as evenly matched as they come. Strap in and enjoy seconds on this tasty dish!

265+ Kraag vs Petrovs

By the eye test this one looks like a mismatch, but dont judge this book by the cover. Despite Kraag likely entering the cage at close to 100lbs heavier than Petrovs, Petrovs has done this and won before. This kind of fight is pretty unique to SAFO and Petrovs is surely one of the games ultimate warriors for accepting these kinds of fights.

135 Rram vs Valdes

A contest for the 135lb title. Some contenders would be hesitant to face such a combat veteran as Rram, but not Valdes. The 2-0 wunderkind is confident he can dethrone the reigning defending champion. A little bit of a striker grappler match here as Rram will most likely look to strike and Valdes may be looking to get this to the mat.

145 Farrokhzad vs Goncalves

How about another title fight?! Farrokhzad defends his title after beating Funky Lotus Style in a second straight title fight across two different organizations. He has his work cut out for him facing 6-0 G-Unit Goncalves. Another barn burner fight. These guys are skilled wherever the fight goes. Im realizing there may be too many great fights to predict fight of the night winners.

155 Turban vs Gracie

Are you tired of title fights yet? I hope not. How about 8-0 Efraim Turban vs 12-2 Kron Gracie? Does that do anything for ya? Check your Goddam pulse if not. Is Turban going to box while Gracie tries to get the fight to the ground to work his BJJ. Fuck I dont know and niether do you, so pay attention!!

265+ Finnegan vs Suckerpunch

We may be out of title fights, but we arent out of bad ass matchups. 22-9 Roy Finnegan taking on 30-28 Ricki Low Blow Suckerpunch. This is a matchup between two experienced, loved by fans, critically acclaimed killers!!!

February, 15th. Be there or be a big giant idiot who wasn't there and probably has lived a life of regrets

"Bardia Farrokhzad, I expected nothing less than a damned brutal, painful standup war in our Featherweight fight for the Featherweight championship, and that's exactly what you gave me! Though we only fought for two rounds, the power you possess hit me time and again like a wrecking ball, and that speaks volumes about your training, focus, and abilities! You have been laying a path of destruction before you that made some men cringe, but not me. I wanted to taste that power and destructive force, and I did! I paid the price for it and I'll be in pain for a while, but life and fighting are painful, and I accepted and embraced that a long time ago. You were an outstanding champion, my friend, and an even better and very worthy opponent! You knocked me senseless and made me dig deep to gather myself and continue fighting. Champions like you make warriors like me better because we have to step up to the next level or be knocked down with the other collection of hopefuls. It's an honor and a privilege to have fought you and ultimately, to have defeated you. I have no doubt our paths will cross again when that time arises. Until then my friend, continue laying waste to the pretenders and show the contenders what you're capable of! As for me, I, too, shall strive to continue establishing myself as a fighter who's to be taken very seriously! I will be a fighting champion, do not doubt that. True champions fight and they fight the warriors who have earned the right to battle them for the title they hold. Now that I am the Featherweight champion, the target on my back is very large, and I welcome all men who are worthy of a title opportunity.

"Well, well, well. It seems Chino, Gaylord and Abubakar took time from their precious lives to focus on me for whatever reason. I'm flattered, gentlemen, because I didn't give any of you a thought. Blah, blah, blah indeed. Actually, your commentary is simultaneously mundane and amusing.. How simple your attempts at insults are. Please, by all means, do your best to mock me. In fact, let it be known that I absolutely acknowledge my being lucky. However, luck has won some people hundreds of millions of dollars. Luck has allowed people to survive situations that would have otherwise claimed their lives. Luck has allowed some to become champions, gold medalists and legends. If luck allows me to continue to cement my name as a champion then I'll take luck each and every time. Be it luck, skill or will, the bottom line are the results. I'm the Featherweight champion. It doesn't matter if you approve of how that occurred or not. My name enters the annals of history as a champion. Run along and play now. Trade insults like children on the playground. It's superfluous if you're secure in who you are. Look in the mirror and figure it out for yourselves."

  • 2 weeks later...

Hello managers and fight fans. I know it’s been a minute since I’ve put out a preview or review. My second life has been getting in the way of my real life here on MMA Tycoon. As you should be aware of I’ve been active booking events, making fights, and answering messages. Things could hardly be any better these days for SAFO and its managers and fighters. SAFO 44 Turban vs Bridges just went down and I couldn’t be happier to give you this review and Sunday update. Let’s see what went down Saturday and maybe get a taste of what’s coming up.

SAFO has started booking bigger arenas. I figured the more that get in on this action the better. Saturday we were in Vegas at The Parisian. Place seats 5,250 and we had 4,456 in attendance. That’s on your truly for not packing the house. We’re working that out currently I promise. The fighters that showed up on weight put together a beautiful show. The fuckwits who didn’t buy tickets missed out on yet another bad ass show put on by SAFO and the warriors who carry the flag. Juanito Ferguson, in a classless didplay of unprofessionalism, missed weight and has been terminated for cause from his contract. (upon second glance that might have been on me as well. May have contracted him to the wrong weight. Anyway...moving on)

Jerking the curtain

145 lbs

3

Veljko Bakocevic

Mikey Ramirez

Submission (Armbar)

Not much to see here honestly. The winner fought out his contract and the loser has been cut. Be better folks

Next up…

145 lbs

3

KJ Aldo

Felix Thompson

KO (Punches)

1

01:53

KJ Aldo made a big splash in his SAFO debut. Knocking out Felix Thompson in the first round and earning himself a KOOTN bonus. We want to know what Aldo wants next in the 145lb division.

185 lbs

3

James Reginald

Tobias Bluth

KO (Strikes)

1

01:29

James Reginald improved to 2-1 in SAFO knocking out newcomer Tobias Bluth. 185 at SAFO has been Jovanovic and everybody else. Is Reginald going to be able to step up and challenge the throne? Bluth may be looking at Pandu or Kustomoija next.

135 lbs

Juanito Ferguson

Bayani Santos

No Contest

00:00

My first no contest as a promoter. As previously mentioned this might have actually been my fault.. moving on

155 lbs

3

Dick Pawlik

Koba Dvalishvili

Majority Draw

3

05:00

I was personally very excited for this fight as both fighters were making their SAFO debut. The two fighters are certainly among the most talented 155ers in the organization. While a draw is a little bit like kissing your sister the two fighters earned a FOTN bonus even though we didn’t get exactly what we were looking for. Don’t take your eyes off of these two competitors. They could likely meet again down the road with hardware on the line.

135 lbs

3

Mosqaine Liszorr

Cedrick Diggery

Submission (Guillotine)

1

04:23

This was another highly anticipated fight by me. What was almost certain to be a battle of grapplers went down exactly that way. Diggery scored a takedown in the first round, but that choice may have been an incorrect one as Liszorr reversed the position and sunk in a guillotine choke to finish the more experienced Diggery. Grappling brilliance by Liszorr. While Clinton (who we will get to next) officially won submission of the night, Liszorr’s manager will be getting an equal bonus for the display of brilliance.

170 lbs

3

Jack Clinton

Jorge Romero

Submission (Kimura)

2

02:28

Romero coming off a huge come from behind submission vs William Shitlord was facing the newcomer Jack Clinton. Irony can be pretty ironic sometimes. After dominating the first round Romero got caught up in a beautiful kimura by Clinton. And that is your official submission win of the night. Clinton moves to 2-0 and the promotion would love to hear from his team what he wants next.

205 lbs

3

Vernon Wells

Aleksandar Volkanovski

TKO (Strikes)

2

03:40

What can I say about Vernon Wells? There aren’t sufficient superlatives to describe this warrior. He’s the former champ who has gone to war with current champ Stu Balls on a couple of occations. These two animals have gone at it before in a kickboxing event SAFO held what seems like a decade ago and holy shit was this a barnburner. Wells suffered a cut almost immediately and came storming back to earn the TKO victory. God bless America and these two fighters. Fuck it. Here goes a bonus to Wells’ manager!

135 lbs

5

Bardia Farrokhzad

Yajson Rram

Decision (Unanimous)

5

05:00

135 lbs Title

Jesus Christ I’m hung over/drunk and I’m just getting to the title fights. Aaaaand New! Bardia Fartmashiniquad (I think) former 145 champ dropped a weight class banged a new lady and reinvented himself. Sweeping the judges scorecards and the man has now been crowned in two divisions. Do we need to run this one back? Somebody call out the champ or go fuck yourselves.

155 lbs

5

Efraim Turban

Trey Bridges

TKO (Strikes)

1

02:09

155 lbs Title

And Still!!!! Efraim Turban is running a train on this division. Is anybody still alive that can take a run at this man? The Golden Boy is 10-0 and the reining defending champ. That makes 4 title defenses. Put this man in a Gold jacket Green jacket who gives a shit. He’s in the Hall of Fame and couldn’t be more deserving!

Holy fuckballs ladies and germs. I don’t know what more you want out of MMA Tycoon than to be part of this organization. Outside of a couple of shitty managerial decisions this shit is cruizing smoothly. The horizon has some fucking monsterous things peeking out. We’re doing bigger arenas at the moment and we will pack them come hell or high water. We’re drawing bigger and better talent so strap the fuck in. You’re either with me or you’re a fuckwit! Let’s go!!

Up next the 145 and 170lb titles will be on the line, and it doesn’t slow down from there. Holy shit hallelujah where’s the tylonal?

Guilherme "G Unit" Goncalves

"Alec Burns, your determination and confidence, along with your natural and trained abilities, make you one very tough warrior! I thank you for the incredible fight and challenge. I will definitely need time to recover but I believe I have earned that time. I fully expect critics to say I once again got lucky because another four seconds and the fight would have concluded. Again, receiving criticism is a part of life and that doesn't bother me in the least bit. My eyes are on much bigger goals than paying a great deal of attention to detractors and doubters. I'll continue to pursue what I've set out to do for myself. In the meanwhile, War Machine, I must compliment you on your taste. Those are definitely beautiful escorts. Enjoy your party."

SAFO 45 Gracie vs Hawk

What's up fighters, managers and fight fans? It's a beautiful Sunday morning. The sun is rising a little bit brighter for the SAFO today. A host of warriors went at it on Friday AND Saturday and they brought the house down in both places. Vegas at the Parisian for 45, and the Pipeline in Hilo for 46. There's a lot to dig into and some big movement was made changing the landscape of a few decisions. I've already had a couple of call outs and requests for next steps and as always am trying to oblige. Oh the two events have landed SAFO back in the top ten of the org rankings at number 9. Congratulations. That's really all about you guys, well it's also a little about me making kick-ass fights, but if you guys didn't accept them we wouldn't be here. Good job everyone let's keep it rolling. Let's talk some fights and the state of the org.

45 was held in front of 4,640 screaming fight fans and the fighters put on a finish clinic.

205 Shwiz vs Diaz

First off though at 205 Toby Tswiz won a unanimous decision over Jerry Diaz. Getting himself off a losing streak and looking to climb the division.

135 River vs Llloyd

Newcomer to the org Bernhard River made a statement to the rest of the division. Serving notice of his arrival with a quick and brutal KO of the talented but struggling Harry Llloyd. It's impossible not to point out that the three L's in his name now match the results of his last three fights. SAFO is not giving up on this kid though. I believe Harry can turn this thing around.

145 Gretch vs Ramathorn

James Gretch just did a similar turn around getting off a skid with an armbar submission win in the first round over the always tough Ricky Ramathorn. Nice win.

265 Bundy vs McGuire

Kevin McGuire was another newcomer looking to put a division on notice, and did just that with a second round armbar submission. This won earned fight of the night for the back and forth battle it was right up until the finish. Good show chaps the win puts McGuire into the top ten of the ruthless heavyweight division.

205 Stallion vs Mckleskin

Rocky Stallion put on a boxing clinic. Just boxing the tits off of Mckleskin. The win will vault Stallion into the top five in the rankings where there are no easy fights above him and there are a couple of other prospects hot on the tail.

265 Namasuzuki vs Rusty Shackleford

I was excited to see this matchup between these veterans of the sport and the SAFO. And I'll share with you that I know the champ, King Kong had his eye on this one as well. Wondering aloud to me "if Namasuzuki wins, I'll probably fight him next right?" Read into that how you want folks, but "pillow hands" did win and win in violent fashion landing a left, right, uppercut combo ending the fight in 27 seconds. It was very tough to see Shackleford go down like that. Congratulations to Pillow Hands. You're up next to take on the champ.

145lb title fight (Champion: Guilherme Goncalves 7-0 vs Alec Burns 9-6

The champion has been on a tear, and he put on another beautiful performance dominating the fight on the feet and especially in the clinch, where he landed 237 punches. That's a record number for what my eyes have seen. Burns is a tough cookie and while he was almost certainly behind on the cards it looked like he was going to tough this one sided fight out until the end but with 4 seconds left and under a court of punches Burns hit his knee and the ref called a stop to it. Still defiant after the match Burns said "I whooped his ass, he hit me with some lucky shit" I love his spirit. Goncalves spoke very respectfully of Burns out on the smacktalk Link get out there and make this game fun folks. If not for some other fantastic KOs that easily could have been Goncalves third straight KOOTN

170lb title fight Randy "Dangerzone" Randleman 5-0 vs Brad Brunswick 8-1

Brunswick was challenging for the title after dropping all the way down from 205 and winning fight against Jorge Cassel. Randleman was able to take him down from the clinch and lock up an early submission that night though. The top of the 170 pound division is stacked and Brunswick will still hang around the top. Great defense by the champ.

155 Kron Gracie 12-3 vs Micah Hawk 8-3

Both of these men had challenged Turban for the title and lost. Here we had a possible fight for the right for another crack at the champ. Hawk never got in the fight though and many are questioning his decision to take Gracie down. Why drag a shark into the water? Well Gracie immediately locked up an armbar and probably the number one contender spot.

265+ Ed "4tds" O'Neil 12-11 vs Suleijma "Giver Dig" Tudekiks 31-29

This is a wild and wooly division folks and this scrap an paper wasn't looking any different and it didn't disappoint. Ed O'Neil won the day with an overwhelming amount of activity. He wasn't that accurate, but he threw punches in bunches and earned the tko victory.

Thanks for another great event. We saw great subs, great knockouts and two great champs defend titles. Things are grand at SAFO
