Tiger
"Alliances are basically clubhouses for you and your friends within the game. Join together to prove your domination as a group of users and reach the status of top ranked alliance within the game. Alliances have a chatbox to chat with your fellow members. In order to join an alliance you must be invited by the user who created the alliance, or one of his executive members. All your fighters will become representatives of the alliance if you join. They will also leave the alliance if you leave. A thumbnail of the alliance will appear on all member's profile pages. Any VIP user can create an alliance. You must also be a VIP member to join an alliance." you will recognise the above from the help pages. My question is why am I in an alliance? I joined it myself without being invited, and I am not a VIP (yet).
MMATycoon
When did you join? There was a period when my programmer uploaded an old version by accident so it let people join for a while. Dunno if he's done it again!
Tiger
Joined (y/m/d): 2009-04-22 00:59:53 My profile is Paul Harris (1140) just incase you need it to investigate the issue. Will I need to leave the alliance seeing it was an error then?
MMATycoon
That sounds about right as to when it was open to all. You don't need to leave the alliance but sooner or later we'll probably make some code that runs each week to kick out non VIPs from alliances, mainly to make sure we remove people who's VIP has expired, rather than this particular issue. So no, you don't need to do anything but you might get removed from the alliance automatically one day.
SoothSlayer
Please do not remove him from LESC unless he wants to leave. He makes us look really good.
Rollins
Too bad there isn't a Grandfather Clause issued for situations like this. If y'all REALLY like him you can pool your money together and get him a VIP as a gift.
SoothSlayer
There are 4 members and only 2 of them are VIP.

MMATycoon
Refer some people and if they buy VIP you can get free VIP and stay in
Eleventhsun
IMO everyone should be able to be in an alliance. Every online game Ive ever played, Ive pretty much been in a clan.
MMATycoon
I certainly won't rule it out. Perhaps VIPs only in invite only alliances? Actually, perhaps the other way around (i.e. non-VIPs can get invited into invite only alliances). The main thing is if an alliance had hundreds of members it would take an eternity to load the page and get the records etc.
Tiger
Refer some people and if they buy VIP you can get free VIP and stay in How many?lol So does this mean that we are allowed to refer people now. I thought we still couldn't because it wasn't fully live yet.
