damndaniel
Does a fighters chin detereorate on this game over time, or does it stay the same? When your fighter gets KO'd, is he more susceptible to getting knocked out in future fights? Does age play a factor? If so how much? Or if you pop a 140/150 chin, does it stay the same, regardless of age, morale, and getting KO'd multiple times?
Gator001
Cant say I have had a fighter from cradle to the grave yet but from what I have seen it definitely seems like the more you get KO'd the more likely it is so yes it looks like they deteriorate a lot if your guy is getting sparked However for example if a granite gets Ko'd couple of times in 30-40 fights , i think this makes very little difference
Rambo
Theoretically the answer to all this is yes, but likely doesn't kick in until after you hit your "age drop off" which is a random hidden iirc from 28-35 years old. According to wiki, fight injuries and ktfo losses take it's a toll. I think it's suppose to impact how much pts get shaven off your total skill cap at X age. I.E. if skill cap is 2800 pts in prime, you reach age drop off pt, and you steadily lose X % of pts. iirc my avg for declining fighter was around 6 pts a week and that was w/ me trying to keep physicals up. However, some of us question how much impact it has and the #s behind this decline and what it actually effects remains up for debate.
10thPlanetKT
So theoretically if a granite chin fighter rarely got koed in his career he will last longer just like iN real life? Less dropoff?
Rambo
At start of creation there is a roll for age drop off, between 28-35, and I think that dictates when fighter starts to decline. Answer to compilation of KO's impacting long term career, it is what we have been told, but hard to tell for sure.
Bwang
I feel it’s true. A granite chin can get cracked by too many KOs and become less strong. It normally happens towards the end of their career, so maybe it’s accumulated injuries, skill declines etc, but it has the feel of a granite chin losing points. I regret test fight KOs for that reason.
