  1. I have a fighter that is going to need to loss about 3 lbs in 9 days to make weight for a fight. Is this possible? Is there any way to increase the speed of weight loss? Should I be training him or resting him? Any advise helps!
  2. So does any one know the max fighter slots? I know I purchased the max amount possibly but I somehow have 27 fighters now when I always thought the max was 25. I had two fighters on my free agent list cause I was thinking about sacking someone but I was able to pick them up to go to 27. Does anyone know the explanation for this???
  3. Chozen Gracie should be removed from the 265+ rankings. Obviously there is no #16 lol
  4. Rankings 135 Champion: Dewey Decimal (15-5) Bardia Farrokhzad (15-5) Juan Corona (10-4) Harti Kraus (10-4) Claus Haba (12-2-1) Dragon Li Chai (6-2) Mordecai Dabingyaba (6-4) Joey Horatius (10-2) Fumito Makino (10-9) Shu Fang Tzeng (15-3) Denis Denisov (8-12) Jay Cartwright (9-2) Darrion Vaughn (11-6) Jens Jensen (6-4) Bernie Sanders (13-5) Andre Mahesa (11-5) Breakdown: A lot of huge fights and results last week in the bantamweight division. First off, we have to mention (C) Dewey Decimal cracking (#1) Bardia Farrokhzad’s streak of 6 straight title fight wins. This was a long awaited rematch as Bardia original started his streak when he took the belt from Decimal and 5 fights later for Dewey he was able to redeem himself and defeat a man who looked unbeatable. We also have some other contenders that emerged. (#2) Juan Corona improved to 2-0 with a win over the debuting, former Checkmate champ, Emiliano Blackburn. Corona may have a chance at a title shot next. (#3) Harti Kraus also kept his name in the debate for the next title shot. He followed up a loss to Bardia in his last fight with a close win over (#10) Denis Denisov. Former Champion (#12) Darrion Vaughn also jumped up from #15 to #12 with four wins in his last five fights. 145 Champion: Gaylord Camara (13-2-2) Ryan Anderson (14-7-1) Anni Skystalker (6-3-1) Adam Johnson (12-6) Daniel Barbosa (13-7) Harry Hendersons (8-5) Kofi Jamay (7-5) Chakree Somchai (7-2) Jose Ronaldo (12-5-1) Demarcus Jackson (10-6) Mason Rogers (8-3) Edgar Bravo (8-8) Steve Cho (9-4-1) Corbin Leopold (12-5) Jeff Fafa (11-9) Veljko Bakocevic (6-9) Breakdown: 3 fights in the featherweight division this week prompted little movement in the rankings. (#3) Adam Johnson defeated (#9) Demarcus Jackson but wasn’t able to gain any ground on the fighters in front of him. (#8) Jose Ronaldo put together a second straight win, this time against the returning former WCF 145lb Champion Talon Orion but like Johnson he was not able to move up any in the rankings. The only movement comes from (#13) Corbin Leopold who jumps up one spot following his win over Norris Chow. 155 Champion: Guilherme Goncalves (16-4) Vladimir Kosmanov (8-6) Julius Turunen (13-7) Bong Ji Woo (8-1) Frederick Zwirn (13-6) Jacques Chaize (18-8) Timo Bader (14-11) Balink Tarlah (12-5) Wolfgang Bleak (8-5-1) Jubei Akechi (7-3) Efraim Turban (15-4) Greg Fitzgerald (7-3) Jackmerius Tacktheritrix (7-4) Peter Kiloe (10-4) William Lati (14-8) Kron Gracie (9-7) Breakdown: The 155lb rankings are the same as last week with no fights have an impact on the top-15. 170 Champion: Raate Road (12-0) Ryan Gordon (5-1) Sasha Rua (15-4) Seemah Feet (9-4) Nicky Spite (15-4) Jonathan Archer (12-5) Cesare Borgia (7-2) Lukas Chomsli (13-10-1) Itchy Sinclair (8-1) Wesley Clark (10-6) Viktor Reznov (7-4) Howard Zynne (7-3) Stanislav Saprykin (10-6) Nate Masvidal (10-10-1) Jeffrey Berwick (8-4) Delbert Mazzariello Breakdown: The 170lb rankings are the same as last week with no fights have an impact on the top-15. 185 Champion: Vincente Escalante (11-1) Cayden Abner (11-5) Konstantin Sogrin (11-3) Mickey Garcia (13-3) Balthazar Baker (6-1) Anthony Rogers (10-9) Jethro Boudreaux (1-3) Bolo Yueng (14-7) Travis Scotty (10-8) Frank Diaz (4-2) Rickson Silva (12-4) Donny Jay (5-6) Ryusuke Kitano (4-3) Yadeep Singh (10-7) Robert Leahy (14-6) Tim Blood (5-4) Breakdown: (#11) Donny Jay enters the rankings for the first time after finishing the previously #10 ranked fighter Ryusuke Kitano. This drops Kitano down to #12. 205 Champion: Aaron Wolf (16-3) Ovidio Kiran (13-3) Blazej Byczkiewicz (12-5) Jaycen Solo (13-8) Bruce Vanorden (15-6) Marcellus Legionarius (10-1) Tommy Sausagestrong (10-5) Lars Kraulthammer (11-7) Jonathan Boaler (16-11) Sheamus Ohoulihan (12-5) Alexanderovski Volkan (9-3) Juice Williams (12-7) Magnus Gunnarsson (7-9) Hassan Hamad (8-3) Jupiter Smalls (9-1) Patrick Strasburg (4-4) Breakdown: Champion Aaron Wolf once again defended his belt this being the second time against (#1) Ovidio Kiran. The fight between Byczkiewicz and Boaler at WCF WNF 54 looks to be a number 1 contender fight. (#9) Sheamus Ohoulihan got back in the win column with a 1st round finish of previously #15 ranked Domaydo Cann. Cann was replaced in the rankings by Magnus Gunnarsson who enters the rankings for the first time at #12 following his win over Geoff Jeffries. 265 Champion: Abubakar Camara (15-0) Big Dog Gracie (8-5) Dennis Rader (12-5) Bubba Wallace (15-2) Jett Denovan (12-5) Jack Tupp (11-10) Xi Li (15-8) William Riker (6-4) John Thunder (13-10) Chandler Tyson (11-7) Johnny Santos (11-9-1) Matt Barnes (6-4) Don Cortez (4-1) Jan Hradek (11-6) Nick Wright (7-7) Donald Foland (6-4) Breakdown: Jett Denovan jumps up to #4 with his 4th straight win this one being over the returning Robert Bennett who it still looking for his first win. (#6) Xi Li moves up from #9 to #6 after TKOing the man who was ranked in front of him (#9) Chandler Tyson. This was Li’s 5th straight win and his 3rd since moving up to 265 from the light heavyweight division. 265+ Champion: Tobig Tofail (11-1) Joe Maki (7-4) Poncho A. H. P. Cortez (9-2) Phillipp Tyurin (9-4) Tjeeerd De Vries (9-5) Seppo Sepi (4-2) David Jones (12-6) Tom Dirk (13-7) Piotr Rasputin (8-7) Zeno Bathory (2-3) Alastair Ubereem (4-1) Lehel Bartasz (6-6) Brian Aston (5-2) Richard Komakech (2-1) Tobias Funke (7-7) Terry Evans (2-7-1) Chozen Gracie (2-1-1) Breakdown: Piotr Rasputin enters the rankings at #8 after his first win in WCF which was a 1st round TKO over decorated grappler Amos Burton. Joe Maki makes himself the new #1 contender after a TKO win over #3 ranked Phillipp Tyruin. Zeno Bathory also jumped up one spot to #10 after submitting #12 ranked Brian Aston.
  5. Rankings 135 Champion: Bardia Farrokhzad (15-4) Dewey Decimal (14-5) Harti Kraus (9-4) Claus Haba (12-2-1) Dragon Li Chai (6-2) Juan Corona (9-4) Mordecai Dabingyaba (6-4) Joey Horatius (10-2) Fumito Makino (10-9) Shu Fang Tzeng (15-3) Denis Denisov (8-11) Jay Cartwright (9-2) Jens Jensen (6-4) Bernie Sanders (13-5) Andre Mahesa (11-5) Darrion Vaughn (10-6) Breakdown: The 135lb rankings are the same as last week with no fights have an impact on the top-15. 145 Champion: Gaylord Camara (13-2-2) Ryan Anderson (14-7-1) Anni Skystalker (6-3-1) Adam Johnson (11-6) Daniel Barbosa (13-7) Harry Hendersons (8-5) Kofi Jamay (7-5) Chakree Somchai (7-2) Jose Ronaldo (11-5-1) Demarcus Jackson (9-6) Mason Rogers (8-3) Edgar Bravo (8-8) Steve Cho (9-4-1) Jeff Fafa (11-9) Corbin Leopold (11-5) Veljko Bakocevic (6-9) Breakdown: Little movement this week in the featherweight division. The only change is Steve Cho jumping up to 12th following his back and forth win over Jon Rambo. 155 Champion: Guilherme Goncalves (16-4) Vladimir Kosmanov (8-6) Julius Turunen (13-7) Bong Ji Woo (8-1) Frederick Zwirn (13-6) Jacques Chaize (18-8) Timo Bader (14-11) Balink Tarlah (12-5) Wolfgang Bleak (8-5-1) Jubei Akechi (7-3) Efraim Turban (15-4) Greg Fitzgerald (7-3) Jackmerius Tacktheritrix (7-4) Peter Kiloe (10-4) William Lati (14-8) Kron Gracie (9-7) Breakdown: (#6) Timo Bader moves up one slot after getting back in the win column with his TKO victory over skidding, but tough Cayden Donovan. (#1) Vladimir Kosmanov solidifies himself as the new #1 contender after a statement win over the debuting, former BFC fighter Jay Calico. Kosmanov has now one two in a row including a win over the aforementioned challenger and has been booked as Guillherme Goncalves’ next challenger at WCF 76 on June 12th. Speaking of Goncalves, he retained his lightweight title this week with a stunning spinning backfist KO of (#2) Julius Turunen. Goncalves pulled off the Hail Mary KO in the last minute of a fight which he was most likely down 4 rounds to none. With the way the first 24 minutes of the fight went I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a rematch with Turunen down the line. 170 Champion: Raate Road (12-0) Ryan Gordon (5-1) Sasha Rua (15-4) Seemah Feet (9-4) Nicky Spite (15-4) Jonathan Archer (12-5) Cesare Borgia (7-2) Lukas Chomsli (13-10-1) Itchy Sinclair (8-1) Wesley Clark (10-6) Viktor Reznov (7-4) Howard Zynne (7-3) Stanislav Saprykin (10-6) Nate Masvidal (10-10-1) Jeffrey Berwick (8-4) Delbert Mazzariello Breakdown: There is a new addition to the 170lb rankings this week with Delbert Mazzariello coming in at #15 following a 1st round submission win this Saturday. Nicky Spite moves up a spot in the rankings with a big submission win in the Co-Main Event of WCF 71 over Lucas Chomsli. There is rumors swirling that Spite may parlay his 4-win/submission streak into a clash with former 155lb champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. 185 Champion: Vincente Escalante (11-1) Cayden Abner (11-5) Konstantin Sogrin (11-3) Mickey Garcia (13-3) Balthazar Baker (6-1) Anthony Rogers (10-9) Jethro Boudreaux (1-3) Bolo Yueng (14-7) Travis Scotty (10-8) Frank Diaz (4-2) Ryusuke Kitano (4-2) Rickson Silva (12-4) Yadeep Singh (10-7) Robert Leahy (14-6) Danilo Hooper (6-6) Tim Blood (5-4) Breakdown: There may be a new next challenger in line for the title in (#2) ranked Konstantin Sogrin. Sogrin moves up a spot to #2 in this weeks rankings following his 4th straight win, this one coming against now #11 ranked Rickson Silva. There is also plenty of small shuffling at the back half of the Middleweight rankings. 205 Champion: Aaron Wolf (15-3) Ovidio Kiran (13-2) Blazej Byczkiewicz (12-5) Jaycen Solo (13-8) Bruce Vanorden (15-6) Marcellus Legionarius (10-1) Tommy Sausagestrong (10-5) Lars Kraulthammer (11-7) Jonathan Boaler (16-11) Alexanderovski Volkan (9-3) Juice Williams (12-7) Sheamus Ohoulihan (11-5) Hassan Hamad (8-3) Jupiter Smalls (9-1) Patrick Strasburg (4-4) Tylonal Jones (9-9) Domaydo Cann (6-3) Breakdown: Bruce Vanorden hops into the rankings at #4 taking the man he finished last Wednesday spot, Tommy Sausagestrong. This was a huge win for Vanorden after losing a tough test in his WCF debut against Ovidio Kiran. (#5) Marcellus Legionarius jumps into the top-5 with a KO of the Night performance over Lars Kraulthammer who was riding a 3-fight win streak. The 205lb division keeps getting more and more interesting 265 Champion: Abubakar Camara (15-0) Big Dog Gracie (8-5) Dennis Rader (12-5) Bubba Wallace (15-2) Jack Tupp (11-10) William Riker (6-4) John Thunder (13-10) Jett Denovan (11-5) Chandler Tyson (11-6) Xi Li (14-8) Johnny Santos (11-9-1) Matt Barnes (6-4) Don Cortez (4-1) Jan Hradek (11-6) Nick Wright (7-7) Donald Foland (6-4) Breakdown: The only large scale fight in the heavyweight division this week was the title fight between Abubakar Camara and Big Dog Gracie. With Camara retaining his title for the 5th straight time, there is no movement in the rankings. 265+ Champion: Tobig Tofail (11-1) Poncho A. H. P. Cortez (9-2) Joe Maki (6-4) Phillipp Tyurin (9-3) Tjeeerd De Vries (9-5) Seppo Sepi (4-2) David Jones (12-6) Tom Dirk (13-7) Alastair Ubereem (4-1) Lehel Bartasz (6-6) Zeno Bathory (2-3) Brian Aston (5-1) Richard Komakech (2-1) Tobias Funke (7-7) Terry Evans (2-7-1) Chozen Gracie (2-1-1) Breakdown: David Jones put together his second straight win which vaults him up to #6 in the 265+ rankings. Terry Evans & Chozen Gracie both hold their ranks at #14 & #15 respectfully after their Draw at WCF 71. Its unclear if we will see that fight be run back.
  6. Also, if anyone is wonder about the emojis next to the Champions names, for some reason the forum automatically changes the C next to their names to that lol. Guess its now the official emoji of a WCF champion!
  7. Rankings 135 ? Bardia Farrokhzad (15-4) Dewey Decimal (14-5) Harti Kraus (9-4) Claus Haba (12-2-1) Dragon Li Chai (6-2) Juan Corona (9-4) Mordecai Dabingyaba (6-4) Joey Horatius (10-2) Fumito Makino (10-9) Shu Fang Tzeng (15-3) Denis Denisov (8-11) Jay Cartwright (9-2) Jens Jensen (6-4) Bernie Sanders (13-5) Andre Mahesa (11-5) Darrion Vaughn (10-6) Breakdown: We have 3 fighters move up in the bantamweight rankings this week. (#6) Mordecai Dabingyaba is the big riser after his TKO victory after then #6 ranked Fumito Makino. (#7) Joey Horatius and (#11) Jay Cartwright both moved up multiple spots with their wins over the following week and we will see the two face off in fight with big implications at WCF Wednesday Night Fights 56 on June 2nd. 145 ? Gaylord Camara (13-2-2) Ryan Anderson (14-7-1) Anni Skystalker (6-3-1) Adam Johnson (11-6) Daniel Barbosa (13-7) Harry Hendersons (8-5) Kofi Jamay (7-5) Chakree Somchai (7-2) Jose Ronaldo (11-5-1) Demarcus Jackson (9-6) Mason Rogers (8-3) Edgar Bravo (8-8) Jeff Fafa (11-9) Corbin Leopold (11-5) Steve Cho (8-4-1) Veljko Bakocevic (6-9) Breakdown: The only movement in the 145 lb rankings this week was the young up and comer Chakree Somchai jumping up a spot to #7 after improving his WCF record to 3-0 with a dominant win over fellow prospect Marcus Agripa. 155 ? Guilherme Goncalves (15-4) Julius Turunen (13-6) Bong Ji Woo (8-1) Vladimir Kosmanov (7-6) Frederick Zwirn (13-6) Jacques Chaize (18-8) Balink Tarlah (12-5) Timo Bader (13-11) Wolfgang Bleak (8-5-1) Jubei Akechi (7-3) Efraim Turban (15-4) Greg Fitzgerald (7-3) Jackmerius Tacktheritrix (7-4) Peter Kiloe (10-4) - previously not ranked William Lati (14-8) Kron Gracie (9-7) Breakdown: (#5) Jacques Chaize leap-frogged (#6) Balink Tarlah in this weeks lightweight rankings after a vicious KO of the Night win over Tarlah at WCF 70: Garcia vs Nail. After a rough 0-3 stretch to start his WCF tenure Chaize has flipped the switch and ran through tough opponent after tough opponent to tally a 4-fight win streak and is pushing towards title contention. The only other change comes in the form of (#13) Peter Kiloe who vaults into the rankings with a win over now #14 William Lati. Kiloe TKO’d the veteran Lati for his 1st WCF victory and the once highly touted prospect will look to show that potential that he has shown in the past. 170 ? Raate Road (12-0) Ryan Gordon (5-1) Sasha Rua (15-4) Seemah Feet (9-4) Jonathan Archer (12-5) Nicky Spite (14-4) Cesare Borgia (7-2) Lukas Chomsli (13-9-1) Itchy Sinclair (8-1) Wesley Clark (10-6) Viktor Reznov (7-4) Howard Zynne (7-3) Stanislav Saprykin (10-6) Nate Masvidal (10-10-1) Jeffrey Berwick (8-4) Liger Justin (9-4-1) - previously not ranked Breakdown: There are some big changes at 170 this week. Sergei Volkov has entered free agency and, while a return to WCF is not out of the question, he has been removed from the official WCF rankings. With a win over former WCF lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, former title challenger (#3) Seemah Feet is making his case for another push towards the title. (#6) Cesare Borgia rises a spot after a bounce back win to improve his WCF record to 5-1 and sets himself up for a big clash with the newly signed Milo Vincente at WCF Wednesday Night Fights 56. WCF WNF is shaping up to be a fantastic card as it will also feature a potentially title eliminator between #2 ranked Sasha Rua and the aforementioned (#3) Seemah Feet. Lastly, with Volkov’s removal Liger Justin enters the rankings at #15. 185 ? Vincente Escalante (11-1 Cayden Abner (11-5) Mickey Garcia (13-3) Konstantin Sogrin (10-3) Balthazar Baker (6-1) Anthony Rogers (10-9) Jethro Boudreaux (1-3) Bolo Yueng (14-7) Rickson Silva (12-3) Travis Scotty (10-8) Danilo Hooper (6-5) Ryusuke Kitano (4-2) Yadeep Singh (10-7) Robert Leahy (14-6) Tim Blood (5-4) Frank Diaz (3-2) Breakdown: Their isn’t any changes in the middleweight rankings despite Mickey Garcia getting back in the win column. Garcia’s win over the unranked but battle proven, former 205er, Logan Nail wasn’t enough to jump him over #1 contender Cayden Abner. 205 ? Aaron Wolf (15-3) Ovidio Kiran (13-2) Blazej Byczkiewicz (12-5) Jaycen Solo (13-8) Tommy Sausagestrong (10-4) Lars Kraulthammer (11-6) Jonathan Boaler (16-11) Marcellus Legionarius (9-1) Alexanderovski Volkan (9-3) Juice Williams (12-7) Sheamus Ohoulihan (11-5) Hassan Hamad (8-3) Jupiter Smalls (9-1) Patrick Strasburg (4-4) Tylonal Jones (9-9) Domaydo Cann (6-3) Breakdown: Similar to 185, there isn’t too much action at 205 following the previous week. (#9) Juice Williams moves up one spot after a majority decision win over the still #13 ranked Patrick Strasburg who holds his spot despite the loss due to nothing of note happening below him. 265 ? Abubakar Camara (14-0) Big Dog Gracie (8-4) Dennis Rader (12-5) Bubba Wallace (15-2) Jack Tupp (11-10) William Riker (6-4) John Thunder (13-10) Jett Denovan (11-5) Chandler Tyson (11-6) Xi Li (14-8) Johnny Santos (11-9-1) Matt Barnes (6-4) Don Cortez (4-1) Jan Hradek (11-6) Nick Wright (7-7) Donald Foland (6-4) Breakdown: Dennis Rader had a big win over William Riker but his spot in the rankings holds at #2 with the future title challenger Big Dog Gracie keeping his spot until him and Abubakar Camara do battle this Wednesday at WCF WNF 52. Matt Barnes moves up 3 spots after his win over Alfred Drouin which also dropped Drouin out of the rankings where he was previously #15. John Thunder climbs the rankings ladder to #6 after a beautiful head kick knockout handing the up and coming Don Cortez his first loss in not only WCF but of his professional career. The fall of Alfred Drouin also allows Donald Foland to enter the rankings with the notion that he will return to fighting actively soon. 265+ ? Tobig Tofail (11-1) Poncho A. H. P. Cortez (9-2) Joe Maki (6-4) Phillipp Tyurin (9-3) Tjeeerd De Vries (9-5) Seppo Sepi (4-2) Tom Dirk (13-7) Alastair Ubereem (4-1) Lehel Bartasz (6-5) David Jones (11-6) Zeno Bathory (2-3) Brian Aston (5-1) Richard Komakech (2-1) Tobias Funke (7-7) Terry Evans (2-7) Chozen Gracie (2-1) Breakdown: The 265+ lb rankings are the same as last week with no fights have an impact on the top-15.
  8. Rankings (4/26/21) 135 ? Bardia Farrokhzad (15-4) Dewey Decimal (14-5) Harti Kraus (9-4) Claus Haba (12-2-1) Dragon Li Chai (6-2) Juan Corona (9-4) Fumito Makino (10-8) Shu Fang Tzeng (15-3) Denis Denisov (8-11) Joey Horatius (9-2) Jens Jensen (6-3) Mordecai Dabingyaba (5-4) Bernie Sanders (13-5) Andre Mahesa (11-5) Jay Cartwright (8-2) Darrion Vaughn (10-6) Breakdown: With a big KO win over Dragon Li Chai, Claus Haba jumps up to # 3 in the 135lb rankings pushing himself closer to the title shot he’s long worked towards. This helps Dewey Decimal climb up to the #1 seed before his attempt to regain the title he lost to current champion Bardia Farrokhzad. There are two new entrants to the batamweight rankings with Mordercai Dabingyaba (#11) and Bernie Sanders (#12). 145 ? Gaylord Camara (13-2-2) Ryan Anderson (14-7-1) Anni Skystalker (6-3-1) Adam Johnson (11-6) Daniel Barbosa (13-7) Harry Hendersons (8-5) Kofi Jamay (7-5) Jose Ronaldo (11-5-1) Chakree Somchai (6-2) Demarcus Jackson (9-6) Mason Rogers (8-3) Edgar Bravo (8-8) Jeff Fafa (11-9) Corbin Leopold (11-5) Steve Cho (8-4-1) Veljko Bakocevic (6-9) Breakdown: Not too much movement this week in the 145lb rankings. Daniel Barbosa (#4) jumps into the rankings after an impressive debut TKO win over former title challenger Harry Hendersons (#5). Anni Skystalker drops to #2 after a loss to Gaylord Camara in their grudge match following their initial draw. This lands Ryan Anderson as the current #1 contender setting up the potential of a huge trilogy fight with Camara. Lastly, Veljiko Bakocevic makes his debut in the rankings at #15 following his second straight win, both by submission. 155 ? Guilherme Goncalves (15-4) Julius Turunen (13-6) Bong Ji Woo (8-1) Vladimir Kosmanov (7-6) Frederick Zwirn (13-6) Balink Tarlah (12-4) Jacques Chaize (17-8) Timo Bader (13-11) Wolfgang Bleak (8-5-1) Jubei Akechi (7-3) Efraim Turban (15-4) Greg Fitzgerald (7-3) Jackmerius Tacktheritrix (7-4) William Lati (14-8) Kron Gracie (9-7) Cayden Donovan (8-6) Breakdown: The 155lb rankings are the same as last week with no fights have an impact on the top-15. 170 ? Raate Road (12-0) Ryan Gordon (5-1) Sasha Rua (15-4) Jonathan Archer (12-5) Sergei Volkov (11-0) Seemah Feet (9-4) Nicky Spite (14-4) Lukas Chomsli (13-9-1) Cesare Borgia (6-2) Itchy Sinclair (8-1) Wesley Clark (10-6) Viktor Reznov (7-4) Howard Zynne (7-3) Stanislav Saprykin (10-6) Nate Masvidal (10-10-1) Jeffrey Berwick (8-4) Breakdown: The top-8 of the 170lb rankings stands pat with some shuffling at #9 through #15 taking place. Itchy Sinclair jumps up from #13 to #9 following his bounce back win over Wesley Shutes (NR). Jeffrey Berwick also enters the rankings at #15 snapping a 2-fight skid against the former #15 Nathan Dylan. 185 ? Vincente Escalante (11-1 Cayden Abner (11-5) Mickey Garcia (13-3) Konstantin Sogrin (10-3) Balthazar Baker (6-1) Anthony Rogers (10-9) Jethro Boudreaux (1-3) Bolo Yueng (14-7) Rickson Silva (12-3) Travis Scotty (10-8) Danilo Hooper (6-5) Ryusuke Kitano (4-2) Yadeep Singh (10-7) Robert Leahy (14-6) Tim Blood (5-4) Frank Diaz (3-2) Breakdown: We saw two risers in the 185lb rankings this week. Bolo Yueng to spots #7 as he extended his undefeated streak in WCF to 4-0 with a win over Helio Silva (NR). Yadeep Singh also jumped up a spot to #12 following his 3rd straight win. Balthazar Baker (#4) notably picked up an impressive finish over Jared Roughneck but was unable to move up any in the rankings due to the man who is responsible for his sole loss, Konstantin Sogrin (#3), being ranked directly ahead of him. 205 ? Aaron Wolf (15-3) Ovidio Kiran (13-2) Blazej Byczkiewicz (12-5) Jaycen Solo (13-8) Tommy Sausagestrong (10-4) Lars Kraulthammer (11-6) Jonathan Boaler (16-11) Marcellus Legionarius (9-1) Alexanderovski Volkan (9-3) Sheamus Ohoulihan (11-5) Juice Williams (11-7) Hassan Hamad (8-3) Jupiter Smalls (9-1) Patrick Strasburg (4-3) Tylonal Jones (9-9) Domaydo Cann (6-3) Breakdown: No drastic changes in the looks of the 205lb rankings this week. Alexanderovski went up one spot to #8 following his win over (#14) Tylonal Jones who dropped a spot with the loss. 9. WCF WNF 29: Bardia vs Makino Preview & Predictions Main Event 135 lbs Title Bout C Bardia Farrokhzad (10-4) vs #5 Fumito Makino (7-6) Tonights main event has all the makings of a classic. This is about that many thought would occur at 145 when Bardia became champ and Makino won his debut against Talon Orion. Now both men are trying to take hold of the bantamweight division. It feels like just yesterday Bardia made his much anticipated WCF debut but he is now 6 fights into his WCF career (4-2 in WCF) and is only the 2nd fighter to win titles in multiple weight classes of course following former simultaneous dual weight champ Mickey Garcia. Bardia is looking to defend his title for the first time following his championship win over Dewey Decimal. Makino dropped down to bantamweight following a loss to Ryan Anderson and received an immediate title shot in which he was knocked out by the former champ Decimal. Makino earned his title shot tonight following a dominant Fight of the Night effort against former and potentially the next challenger to the title Bernie Sanders. This is once again a matchup of two guys with virtually zero holes in the abilities. Both guys have a combined 14 wins (out of 17) by knockout so I don’t expect the judges to be needed. This is one that could be a firefight at 135. If you believe in MMA math then Bardia should be expected to come out of this one with a win based off their mutual opponent Decimal. Prediction: Bardia Farrokhzad by 4th round KO/TKO Co-Main Event 265 lbs Dennis Rader (9-3) vs Jack Tupp (9-8) Our Co-Main event is one that should have huge implications in the heavyweight division. Rader likely becomes the next challenger for the title with a win over Tupp. Dennis Rader has been impressive throughout his WCF career. His only loss came from a close decision in a title fight against previous and long reigning champ Tom Dirk. In that fight Rader lost a unanimous decision but was able to take two rounds from the champ. Following that loss Rader rallied and built up his current 3-fight win streak with finishes over Donald Fonald, John Thunder, and Jett Denovan. As you will see down below Rader was behind on the scorecards against Denovan but was able to pull off a stunning 3rd round guillotine to steal the win. Tupp is one of the OGs of WCF and is Tied for the 3rd most fights in the promotion with 12 total (7-5 record in the WCF cage). He is coming off an amazing slam KO of William Riker which was only the 2nd in the promotion and he is responsible for both (the other coming against Leroy Brown. “Mr. Violance” has record 3 straight performance bonus heading into this fight and has evolved from a brawler to a well-rounded mixed martial artist which is evident from his run in TWGC this summer. Despite the newfound grappling skills all of Tupp’s wins have come by KO (T-3 most KO wins in WCF with 7). Both men have separate advantages when it’s on the feet with Tupp being more of a traditional boxer and Rader utilizing a Muay Thai based striking. This should be a cracker of a main event. Prediction: Jack Tupp via 2nd round KO 170 lbs Hector Sanchez (5-3) vs Tyson Asakura (9-3) Two high-level welterweights will go at it prior to our Co-Main event. There is rumblings that this may be Hector Sanchez’s final fight in not only WCF but his entire career. What a tough retirement fight this would be for Sanchez. He is coming off of his second submission win over Marvin Watts who we will see earlier in the card. He is 4-3 in his career in WCF and has alternated wins and losses since his debut. Sanchez’s only losses has come from very tough opponents in Matt Cruz, Jonathan Archer, and Kribbson Diaz and it will get no easier for him against Asakura. Tyson is near as good as it gets when it comes to welterweights in WCF. He started his tenure in WCF at 185 but following a loss in his debut against former 2-weight world champion Mickey Garcia. Asakura proceeded to drop down to 170 and earned back-to-back wins including his latest win against the skilled Kev McKill. He is coming of a loss though against Wesley Clark who is a potential title challenger following another win. Asakura is clearly the more talented fighter but you cant count out Hector Sanchez. All 5 of Sanchez’s wins are by submission which will likely be his only path to victory. Prediction: Tyson Asakura 3rd round TKO 265 lbs Jett Denovan (8-4) vs William Riker (3-2) Next up is the first of 2 important heavyweight fights. Jett Denovan is trying to snap a 2-fight losing streak after he took a beating in a title fight to Tom Dirk and followed that up with submission loss to Dennis Rader. Donovan was dominating Rader in the first two rounds until he got too comfortable in top position in the 3rd and getting caught in a guillotine. Riker presents a tough test for Denovan. He came into WCF with a ton of hype, rightfully so, but was finished the man we will see in the Co-Main Event Jack Tupp. Riker is a decorated grappler is going to be trying to take it to the mat. Denovan good grappler in his own right but not on the level of Riker. He should have a clear advantage on the feet and should look to keep it there. Prediction: Jett Denovan by Unanimous Decision 265+ lbs Tobig Tofail (7-1) vs Jore Maki (4-2) Kicking off the main card is a title eliminator for the 265+ division. Tofail will come into this one following a rapid KO in his WCF debut while Maki is making his debut in the promotion. Both fighters are evenly matched across the board in the most part. Despite the equal skillsets there is advantages nonetheless. Tofail is the more polished kickboxer while Maki is an elite wrestler. Both fighters have purple belts in BJJ but Maki should have a slight size advantage. This is a tough one to predict the outcome and should be a super competitive fight. Neither man goes the distance often and in this weight class don’t expect a technical point fighting affair. Prediction: Tobig Tofail by 1st round KO Featured Prelim Bout 205 lbs Juice Williams (9-5) vs Jupiter Smalls (6-0) Our Featured Prelim Bout is a huge one for the light heavyweight division. Juice Williams will provide the biggest test to date for surging prospect Jupiter Smalls. Following a tough 2-fight losing streak, Williams bounced back in a big with with back-to-back wins. Juice bested former 205lb champ Jeff Warren in a fight of the night decision and followed that up with a tough fought KO of former title challenger Xi Li. “Super Freak” will have the duty of welcoming Jupiter Smalls to the top-10 of the division. Smalls ran through his previous competition easily but Williams will by far be his biggest challenges despite the top prospects Smalls has bested at 205 all by KO/TKO. Both fighters show similarities on the surface. Both of them like to strike and have a good background of mostly defensive grappling with Smalls having the upper hand in wrestling but Williams being the superior BJJ practitioner. This one should not disappoint. Prediction: Juice Williams by 3rd round TKO 145 lbs Jeff Fafa (9-6) vs Edgar Bravo (6-6) Up next is a pivotal featherweight but which could vault the winner near title contention. Fafa has been on fire since coming into WCF. He has gone 4-1 in the promotion with all his wins coming by KO/TKO and the competition has not been pedestrian. Fafa has dispatched Eder Silva, Steve Cho, Veljko Bakocevic, and Mason Rogers. Bravo is also no stranger to high level competition. He has faced a who’s who of the division going a slightly worse 3-2. He is riding a two fight win streak over Daisuke Hazuki and the aforementioned Colton Ortiz. Both fighters are well-rounded but Fafa will most likely try to keep the fight standing while we should see Bravo try to change levels and take it to the mat. This one will come down to which fighter can impose their will and control where the fight takes place. Prediction: Jeff Fafa by Unanimous Decision 170 lbs Marvin Watts (6-7) vs Akello McGee (3-1) In our 1st welterweight bout of the night WCF regular Marvin Watts returns. Watts is as battle tested as them come but has never been able to get over the hill into the top of the 170lb division. He has notable wins against David Danis and Panca Pandu. He has gone 4-3 over his last seven with those 3 losses being to tough opponents. McGee lacks the deep experience that Watts has but stormed into WCF with back to back submission wins before being derailed by Liam McKnight. McGee surprisingly has 2 submission wins in WCF despite a below average wrestling pedigree and having decorate Muay Thai skills. McGee does have a surprising height advantage which should challenge Watts who is use to being the longer fighter. On the other hand Watts should have a clear advantage in strength and power with being a big welterweight (with a fight at 185) while McGee was a lightweight prior to his WCF debut. This should be an interesting fight that should more or less be 15 minutes of kickboxing. Prediction: Marvin Watts by Unanimous Decision 145 lbs Colton Ortiz (3-4) vs Tyson Alexander (2-1) Two guys looking to build some moment in the featherweight division. Ortiz has been in WCF his whole career and has a solid track record in WCF with his 4 losses coming from high-level fighters in Bardia Farrokhzad, Harry Hendersons (x2), and Edgar Bravo. Ortiz went the distance with Bravo as well as Hendersons twice and has shown an impressive grappling skillset with all 3 of his wins coming by sub. Alexander is an exciting and solid striker with a kickboxing base. Alexander introduced himself to WCF with a huge head kick KO of Kirk Fitzpatrick but faced a huge step up in competition his next fight against Steve Cho which resulted in a 1st round TKO loss. Expect a classic grappler vs striker duel in this one. Prediction: Colton Ortiz by 1st round submission 265+ lbs Anthony Johnson (3-6) vs Jas Drop (2-10) Opening up the card we have the debut of two 265+ fighter. Both fighters have had stints in other major promotions but albeit unsuccessfully. Anthony Johnson will be making his first career fight in the 265+ division. He has a resume with some connections to WCF. During his time in ACE he fought former WCF title challenger Golden Sage Lll to a losing effort. Drop does not have any opponents of note in WCF but he has fought high level competition in Madness and F&B. Jas Drop will also have a large size advantage in both height and weight. Both fighters prefer striking but we could see drop use his slight offensive grappling advantage. Prediction: Jas Drop via 1st round KO
  10. WCF WNF 28: Haba vs Sanders Preview Undercard Don Cortez (0-0) vs Johnny Cole (4-4) - 265lb division To open the night we will see two fighters looking to pick up their first win in WCF and for Cortez his first pro MMA win in general. Cole is 0-2 inside the WCF Cage losing by submission in both bouts. This is a good ole’ fashioned striker vs grappler matchup where Cortez will look to bring it to the mat. I believe he will have success doing so and we will see him get his hand raised Prediction: Don Cortez wins by Unanimous Decision Joshua Madison (3-6) vs Jinski Grang (2-3) - 205lb division Next up we have a light heavyweight battle between two guys looking to bounce back from loses. Madison has a 1-2 record in WCF while Grang will be looking to improve to 1-1 after losing his debut. Similar to the last bout we will see a striker vs grappler matchup. Grang has some decent wrestling but I don’t believe he will be able to stuff Madisons takedowns for long. There is potential for a quick finish on the feet by Grang but I’m going to have to go the other way. Prediction: Madison wins by 2nd round Submission Thomas Bayner (3-3) vs Liger Justin (7-2) - 170lb division Here is where is starts to heat up. We have an exciting matchup between a guy on a 2-fight win streak in Bayner (2-1 in WCF) and an exciting debuting prospect Justin. Justin has an impressive 7-2 record outside of WCF but both men have fallen flat when fighting that step up in competition so this should be an even matchup. I think Justin will be able to control this fight and keep it in positions that favor himself. Prediction: Liger Justin by Unanimous Decision Rickson Time (6-5) vs Denis Denisov (5-9) - 135lb divison While both these fighters don’t have shiny records they are tough outs for anyone. Time was hot off a 3-fight win streak outside of WCF before getting KOed by Charles Kenway Jr. in a fight that he was winning thoroughly up until the knockout. Denisov has amassed an unimpressive 2-5 record in WCF but it has been against the top very top level in the 135lb division and he holds notably wins over Alessio Da Santiago and Jens Jensen. I expected this to be a very competitive and exciting fight no matter how it goes. Prediction: Denis Denisov by 1st round KO Featured Prelim Bout Jaka Prawira (7-5) vs #10 Luigi Bonifacio (7-7) - 155lb division In the featured prelim bout we have a lightweight bout with implications in the ranking. Jaka Prawira is coming off his first win in WCF (1-2) and draws a tough matchup with Luigi Bonifacio. Bonifacio is a dark horse in the lightweight division and has quietly amassed a 4-1 record in WCF with notable wins over Ryan Texas, Jake Smith, and Ivar Lothbrook. Some view Bonifacio as a dark horse in the division sitting at the back of the rankings at #10. Prawira is a talented grappler with all his career wins coming by subs but that is his only path to victory and Bonifacio has shut down grapplers in the past. Prediction: Luigi Bonifacio by 1st round KO Maincard Chandler Tyson (9-4) vs Ralph Long (3-3) - 265lb division To kick off the main card Chandler Tyson makes his return to jump back into the top 10. He takes on striking prospect Ralph Long with both looking to get back into the win column. Tyson is an original of WCF and has put together a great resume with wins over former heavyweight champions Tom Dirk and Jan Hradek as well as Jack Tupp and Fedor Petrov. Long has a lot to gain with a win over Tyson but it will be a huge test against an elite grappler. Prediction: Chandler Tyson by 1st round Submission #8 Andre Mahesa (9-2) vs Pauly Just Training (5-4) - 135lb division Next up we got our 2nd of 3 bantamweight bouts. Both fighters have good record in WCF but Mahesa (4-1) and (3-2) have failed to bring home wins against the top of the division. Both are well rounded fighters but I think this fight will be decided in the grappling department either way. PJT should look to keep it standing and outstrike Mahesa at distance. Prediction: Andre Mahesa by 2nd round Submission Ryan Gordon (1-1) vs #10 Jack Jerome (6-3) - 170lb division Here we get to see the return of highly touted prospect Ryan Gordon. Gordon showed off we he had so much success in the grappling world when he beat Raymon Dekkers in his WCF & MMA debut but was KOed in his last bout by the surging Erik Axel. Gordon will take on the #10 ranked welterweight Jack Jerome. Jerome made his debut in WCF with the shocking upset of WCF stalwart Jason Bush. Jerome is has a somewhat well-rounded game but favors the grappling aspect which should be interesting against a top of the line grappler in Gordon. Surprisingly enough Gordon may actually have the advantage in the striking department. Prediction: Ryan Gordon by 1st round Submission Co-Main Event Mankar Camoran (9-6) vs #9 Donald Foland (3-4) - 265lb division In our co-main event for the evening we get to see the debut of an intriguing heavyweight in Mankar Camoran. Camoran is a super well-rounded with a lot of high-level experience in the past challenging for the heavyweight title twice in Madness and coming off an up and down stint in HFC. Camoran will be welcomed to the WCF heavyweight division by Donald Foland who is coming off a big win over Chandler Tyson. Foland will look to play spoiler in Camoran’s debut. Expect a competitive fight all around with Camoran having the advantage on the ground and Foland potentially having the edge on the feet. Prediction: Mankar Camoran via 3rd Submission Main Event #2 Claus Haba (9-0-1) vs #7 Bernie Sanders (11-2) - 135lb division In our main event we have a pivotal fight for the bantamweight division and a potential #1 contender fight. This fight should be super competitive with boy guys having very similar skillsets. If you had to weight the skills I would say Haba has a very slight advantage in the striking category while Sanders has a very slight edge in grappling, specifically in BJJ. This one is super tough to predict. Prediction: Bernie Sanders by 4rd Submission
