pjrfin
First time having an island fighter, and I got message that he couldn't train because he is in a different city than his gym. His profile still shows the island, and I remember when I created him his base city after the season would be Amsterdam. So do I have to physically fly him off the island? I think the island tournament happens in a kind of a limbo. Fighters can't train, won't lose energy or morale between fights. You definitely don't need to fly them anywhere. Guest
I assume this was Mission vs Kakuto ? Your tactics were way too aggressive, and your opponent scored a ton of points with counters transitions. In TGWC matches you can take your time to setup moves, so you should in future try less aggression. With MMA rules, if you are trying to win by submission, aggression is the way to go (there's less time, and you want to avoid ref standups). But a 19 y/o grappler vs a 21 y/o grappler might have been an unwinnable mismatch any way, especilly if your opponent knows what he's doing. Yea right, Mission is my fighter. Damn, i was trying to avoid be submit or manhandlet lol thank you for this advise brother, now i know better for the next time!
Guest
Are there any pure ground fighting organisations ? Submission fighting organisations ?
jsdaugh
None with ground strikes. There have been some orgs holding grappling events but I don't think there are any just grappling orgs.

PBR
Does going 100% see how it goes for my 18 yr olds test have a downside. depends on his intelligence -- if that hidden is low then it will probably not be worth it, but if that hidden is high then it helps -- nothing wrong with trying it since testing anyways and just see how he does
Guest
Is it possible to have a secondary skill pop after a match. I have a fighter who had ++ in strike def after his fight.
GBK16
Is it possible to have a secondary skill pop after a match. I have a fighter who had ++ in strike def after his fight. I'm pretty sure Conditioning (or Physicals as a whole) are the only things that pop following a fight (99% sure it's only Conditioning though). Would have either been the AM session before the fight or the PM session following the fight that made it pop.

PBR
for Muay Thai and BJJ fighters i think flexibillity, for stand up agillity but for wrestlers or wrestler/BJJ mix ? Agility - Standup striking. Flexibility - Head kicks. Speed - Shoot takedowns. Strength - Clinch control. Conditioning - Recovery throughout the fight. Energy and conditioning are very different concepts click here for more information. Balance - Takedown defense.

Guest
If a fighter score 101 IQ, what should i change for the tactics ?
actionjackson
If a fighter score 101 IQ, what should i change for the tactics ? I would say don't change anything because 101 is a fairly average to low IQ. You could give him maybe 5% SHIG but I probably would not. High IQ helps fighters when they're on the ground so you don't have a great subs guy on your hands but should be fine as a striker.
