Growing up in the favela's of Curitiba (Brazil) , I had no choice but to become a hard kid. Most people I used to know when I grew up have already been shot, stabbed or are dead. It's a very rough place to be young and it creates nothing but bad behaviour.

I got arrested after killing a gang member who had raped and slaughtered my mother and 11year old sister. For me, chopping the guy's head off was the only logical thing to do after his brutal raid in our house. The police arrested me while I was still covered in blood. There is nothing pretty about killing someone, but I did what I had to do. After having spend most of my adolescence in prison, I was released at the age of 18. Luckily for me, I met Bjorn O'Donnel who had started up a program for young criminals to get them back on the right path by training something called Mixed Martial Arts.

He saved me, and I will never forget that. I trained as hard as any pro fighter on the planet and became a stronger and stronger fighter. I discussed debuting in MMA with my manager, but he had found another great opportunity for me : TWGC. He told me it stands for Tits Will Get Cuddled, so I was very interested!

In my first fight at TWGC, what apparently not means what my manager told me, I was facing a fighter who was two years older than me. Wladimir Karlsson also had already made a succesful MMA debut, so I knew I had a tough opponent.

Luckily, me and my manager, had set up a great gameplan and where comfortably winning the fight. After being at 12-2 on points, I took my opponent's back and submitted him with a crafty RNC . I'm very happy with my debut and look very much forward to the rest of this competition.

My second fight was also against a tough opponent. Manof TheDingos was also 2 years older than me, and already had 2 pro mma fights, winning both by submission. I knew I had to use another approach and had to be more careful, as Manof tries a lot of submissions. I knew that advancing positions and passing guard would help me score a lot of points. The strategy paid of very well. I'ld rather win all fights by finish, but sometimes a man has got to do what a man has got to do... By securing my second straight win, I qualified for the finals in Amsterdam. I'm very much looking forward to testing myself against the toughest opponents the world has to offer!

I arrived in Amsterdam yesterday evening and went to a local coffee shop to drink a nice hot coffee and eat a cake. I met my next opponent David Morrison there and we talked the whole evening. He seems like a great guy. Too bad for him that he needs to face me in his next fight. He joked that he would KO me and turn it into a street fight. It was great fun and I'm looking forward to drinking another coffee with him after the fight. Oh and by the way, those little cakes we ate are very tasteful! I asked for the recipe of it, but the owner was reluctant to hand it over to me. I guess there must have been some sort of a secret ingredient in it ....

I made some stupid mistakes and got caught in a RNC by my opponent. I'm sad my journey in the TWGC has come to an end.

Good luck to David , my last opponent, in the next round. I can only hope that the one who defeated me becomes the TWGC champion.
I'll get back into training and hope to rebounce from this dissapointment.

I made my MMA debut yesterday at MFN. The fight was hard as expected, because I asked for a more veteran fighter with better skills and KO-power as I wanted to know how I would feel during and after the fight. Well, a KO loss is always hard to take, but my morale is still very good. I know that I was in for a very tough fight and I let my guard down for a second and bamn! My opponent told me after the fight that altough my striking is very basic, I seem to have good power. If I work hard on that part of my game, there is no reason why I wouldn't be able to pursue a great career in MMA. I'm flying back to Vegas as we speak and I'm going to train very hard to make sure that next time, it will be my hand that gets raised at the end of the fight. Thank you to my followers.

I'm happy to announce that I've signed a contract at La Grande Promotions. They were really interested in me and that made me accept their offer. I don't care about money. I care about having a good spirit in the org that I fight in and having good opponents. My promotional debut will most likely be in around 6 weeks. That gives me the time to sharpen my skills and prepare to showcase my skills to the world!

Only if you were gay, then you would have to worry about how I look. I'm not a fashion boy and don't want to be one either. I don't know what area you are from, but whoever is wearing colorbands in his 'beard' is sending of strange messages.

Your mom sent me a picture of you when you were 18 and going to prom, alone!
