Biggest Upsets...

What with Anthony Joshua losing to Ruiz Jr a few weeks ago, and myself just getting used to this game, I was wondering about asking you more experienced veterans about the percentages of upsets happening in this game between fighters. Is this even possible between a fighter who is close to elite? Who may have relied on certain tactics for too long, then someone else with a weaker fighter who is say rated as strong, has got their tactics absolutely spot on and turned them over and caused an upset? Would welcome any stories and experiences of your fighters if this has happened? Do you remember what the styles and stats were of the fighters in the particular bout??

Thanks for getting involved in the thread, I'm wondering what variables come into play here? ? is it a case of conditioning, where the fittest of the two fighters picks off the more tired rival at the end. Or is it the specialist K.O skill that you may have picked when you first created the fighter coming to the fore, knowing he has to go for the stoppage as he is losing on points...

As an avid real life boxing and mma fan, I find the depth of this game really interesting.

This was low level at the time, and it appeared to be heading towards an upset (IMO) but then alas... 4:59 I had my heart broken...

. That's harsh, especially being knocked out by a jab of all punches....lol

That's going to be tough, definitely think your fighter stands a chance on the ground, that still looks 50/50 though. Good luck.

At the time it happened, Tonal was a freight train, beating the crap out of everyone. I was having Tonal in super fights, but decided he defend his title. Some how William survived 5 rounds for the decision win. At the time, Tonal had a 25 run with just 1 loss (against Kane, he avenged that during the run). I think at least 50% of those fights were against top 10 level fighters.

After beating arguably the greatest of all time, Williams went 17-18-1, but he still pulled off the biggest upset.

The Show waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Boxaaja.

The Show drops Boxaaja with a straight right hand, right on the button! The Show follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randy The Show!

Randy The Show is the new middleweight champion!

A very excited looking Randy The Show rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Fair play for calling this one before it happened.

Great stuff guys really glad this thread is gaining momentum and getting plenty of replies. I do get round to reading every fight you post on here, and find it very interesting. Keep them coming.
