H1Z1 King of the Kill and Playerunknown Battlegrounds

Both are the same type of game ( massively multiplayer online survival game) that are quite popular.

I have played both of them and enjoyed H1Z1 quite a lot in the beginning. However since I been playing Playerunknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), H1Z1 is just on the backburner.

The sound system of PUBG and the weapon modifications are simply awesome. Overall a better atmosphere for me too.

H1Z1 has a crafting system still in place which gives it that unique touch.

Besides that, the games are pretty similiar. 100 players in PUBG and apparently 150 players in King of the Kill, start on the map. In time, the playable location determned by a randomized circle on the map, gets smaller and smaller. To win the game, you need to survive till the end, and eliminate the other players. While you are playing, you check buildings and locations on the map to find your gear and weapons.

There are also vehicles in both games to make moving around the map easier and a whole lot faster.

For me PUBG simply takes the win when it comes to comparing these two games. How about you guys?

I've only ever played King of the Kill out of the two and its honestly not that great. It doesn't feel like there are enough weapon options as there are only two different rifles, one shotgun and one revolver readily available. You can get a sniper, but only in the drops and it aint easy to get em (not mentioning other pistols because they're lower tier). The game is quite poorly optimised too and often crashes or suffers FPS drops and other performance issues. It is fun though, and can be a good way to waste some time between doing other things. I just wish they showed more care to Just Survive to be honest :>

I want to play PUBG badly but for some reason when I bought it there was no way to get it to launch on my PC. Went through a ton of different potential solutions before eventually refunding. Aint got an Xbox either so won't be playing it on a console anytime soon.

That's weird about PUBG not working. I saw something about VC Redist dll's not working and when that was fixed, it helped some folks to get it too launch.

PUBG has a nice amount of weapons for you to find around the map, including sniper rifles. However then you still need to find a good enough scope to use its full potential haha.

The game was initially going to be free to play as well, go figure. It was a fun game when it was out, but improvements were just so slow on it.

From what I can tell they are not yet released on consoles. PUBG will be released on consoles later this year, but with releases these days you can never be to sure.

Just looked up a trailer, and have to say that looks like a promising game. It's a nice take on the genre and certainly makes it unique with the look they went with.

H1Z1 was mint when it came out but became stale.

I have not played battle grounds but really want to. Need to update my computer though as the mouse peddling inside this one is on his last legs.

I feel if they had 3-4 maps rather than the one on H1Z1 would make it a little more interesting.

I own Both and i have to say i prefer PUBG to H1Z1, Even tho PUBG is only 4/5 months old it already feels like a much more polished and well made game, i unfortunately cannot say the same about H1Z! ive maybe logged 20/30 hours on H1Z1 (had the game for about 9 months now) and yet ive logged nearly 100 on PUBG and ive only had it one and a half months.

I pre-orderded for XBOX1.  Will be released the 12th.  It was only $23 through Amazon Prime.

For me pubg is too slow, however h1z1 is too unrealistic and arcadeish. Pubg is the better game though

PUBG's slow gameplay is what really attracts me to it.  It's so much more tactically involved.  My reaction time cant keep up with teenagers anymore, PUBG gives me a chance to out think my opponents.

I have no tactical brain so i loot for 10 minutes, get shot and the all over again. There should be (and probably will be) some quick game mode for us noobs who just want to play a quick game

PUBG has been improving tons over the last few months. Not sure if vaulting has been implemented yet, but that should be soon otherwise. Annnnd a new map coming with a desert theme.
