Ikkitakeda
I am curious what is the benefits and drawbacks of creating a fighter 16 years of age. Also it says there is a fee in VIP days to do so. I am on VIP trial currently. I will be getting real VIP by the end of the trial and was wanting to know some answers on this to figure out if it would be worth it for me or not. aylib
Younger fighters have better learning speed, so, theoretically your fighter will have longer time at which he develops at a fast rate. With that said, there is a skill point cap, so he will top out sooner or later, depending on that learning speed. He might end up with horrible hiddens or learning speed, so those drawbacks making it a bit like rolling the dice.
Ikkitakeda
Thanks for the reply, and do you know how many VIP days? If I am going to roll the dice unless it's cheap I probably wouldn't do it since it could end up horrible.

JDV916
Also on a related note, you'd be suprised by the amount of 16 year old creations that turn up in the FA list for whatever reason. If that's the way you wanna go highly recommend taking a gander at that list.
aylib
Right; might want to scout free agent 16 and 17 yo fighters, you'd be able to tell their hiddens (those who had fights), and they'll come free.
Lefty
Thanks and yeah so not doing that. Lol. I will stick with 18yo for my project train up fighters. I still use 18 year olds as project fighters after all these years. The whole 16 year old creation thing hardly helps when they end up reaching an earlier retirement in the end anyways due to the injuries triggering their "decline" at a younger age. I might want to give it a go one day however just to try my luck and really see for myself.

Ikkitakeda
Btw guys any of you thinking about in the future the 16yo Edgar looks like he might be a striker with Heavy Hands. going by the description of his KO shot. If he still available in 2 weeks i might try him. If he isn't then good job someone if i am correct.

They have the same learning speed rate as an 18 year old. They just get to use that rate for 3 game years instead of 1. They'll definitely reach their skill cap quicker. So you'll basically get about 2-3 years longer to fight with them at their peak level. They are a huge gamble as they have the same bad hiddens rate as any other aged fighter. You basically need to earn about 300K with the guy to break even. (based on a 1.2mil/year exchange rate). If you make a dud, then you're looking at needing a career net gain of $600k. Assuming you have a solid fighter who fights till he's old, this can definitely be worth the price of admission. But so far I have definitely spent far more VIP in failed 16 year olds than what my other 16 year olds will ever make up in fight pay. If you can afford the VIP loss, go for it. If you're on a tight budget, stick with 18 year olds. I would not recommend 17 year olds. Â One thing to note, though, is that 16 year olds can get away with slightly lower learning speed than 18 year olds since they have the extra 2 years of good learning speed time. Solid hiddens outside of learning speed are still needed regardless of learning speed.

You are saying the same thing in your 3rd sentence that I said.
skull
I'm not big on the 16 or 17 yr old fighters. Sucks balls when ya pay for a fighter that ends up a turd.
TPowell
Yeah I've never done this. I assumed the learning speed would be faster at 16 and 17 though. That is a big drawback.
