Buying VIP

Yeah, after I saw that I just bought it myself. 4 mill is just dumb.

I earn one million dollars a month from fighters contracts, just from the base pay. If my fighters win its two million dollars a month. Assuming they win 2/3 times, in one year I can earn 16 million dollars.

Private gym costs 2-3 million a year, clothes and sups cost a couple of hundred thousand dollars.

I could offer T$10million for a years VIP and still be making a profit!

Not posting this to gloat, but just to show that 4mill isnt dumb, its still quite conservative. Prices are gonna go up more..

Well, most fighters at GAMMA or SYN are making 50k/50k with anywhere from 50k up to 500k sign on bonus depending on how good/hyped they are. If you have 10 fighters and each fight once a month, you're looking at 500k/month in base salary and up to another 500k/month in win bonuses. And that's just if the win bonus is 50k, I've seen some higher. I have 20 fighters, once the majority of my roster is in the big leagues and making 50-100k per fight, there's a lot of money to be made.

The rich do indeed get richer. Unfortunately, not everyone makes that kind of money. My pockets sure ain’t empty for example but even I look poor compared to you LOL. I genuinely thought about leaving after months of not getting VIP from the VIP exchange page as my days were about to run out and I was already offering nearly everything I had.

Worst of all though, this is very bad for the new players. There aren’t that many new players coming into the game anymore and very few actually stick around for a long time. There already is a huge gap between new managers and established managers. I do believe we should try to narrow that gap as much as possible instead of further widening it, as this game needs new blood to stay alive.

That's why it's so important to push the Noob Fund, keep that up at the top of that forum and mention it frequently, and for new managers to get a mentor, who will help with some $ usually along with all of the other information and advice they can give which can make the learning process a LOT quicker than spending months sorting through forum information. Those are the biggest two keys. The mentor, if doing it right, will recommend that they create a couple 25 year olds to develop and fight with to keep them interested, a few 18 yo's as longer term projects to get started on "good" fighters for long term and potentially a good developed FA or two to get experience working with and setting sliders and planning for fights at that end so you get a feel for what you might want to build towards later with the younger guys.

Yeah in your case you earned this $ , I think people have an issue w Alex because now that he doesn`t have any good fighters his income comes from picking up FA wealthy fighters to simply syphon their money into his balance.

That part of the game is very unrealistic.

Also we are used to people upping the VIP offers by a couple of thousand dollars and stuff but because he doesn`t work for this money he can bump it significantly like he recently did, i went from 3M offers to Shawn 3.6M to Alex 4M

I honestly don`t care as all my offers sell and if I start getting low on funds I`ll just hussle Karter or some other noob again but some people here obviously do.

A mentor is a must, I agree. As for the noob fund, I agree it narrows the gap a little but it’s not enough. The gap between new and established managers has grown significantly wider over the years, so much in fact that IMO it really hurts the new player experience.

Imagine a new player, maybe he doesn’t want to buy VIP, or not yet, until he knows the game is worth it. 50k is enough for a new manager to get their fighters in a good public gym for example but public gyms have declined over the years and there is barely any room in the good ones that are left.

Should the new manager like the game and want VIP but doesn’t want to buy it himself, the VIP exhange rate has more than tripled over the years. 50k is nothing when a year of VIP costs four million.

Let’s say the new manager does buy VIP from the get-go, he can try and open a private gym but he won’t be able to keep it open for long with 50k.

The noob fund is a good way to narrow the gap but the gap seems to keep growing wider between new and established players. And that's a problem.

No one has an issue w/ me you basement inhabitant. I gave away more ingame cash to managers than your bank roll will ever see. Keep grinding tri-chump.

As for people upset about the VIP exchange rate: we should all be happy Mike couldn't figure out other uses for mmat cash and ended up programming the exchange. Rather dumb if you ask me, since all he did was hurt his own wallet. I doubt any half decent manager is paying for VIP w/ their own money.

so are you telling me that i offer x amount of tycoon dollars, and mike just accepts the offer and GIVES me the vip? lol no way.

someone is buying someone else vip, or at least donating their own vip. either way, vip is being consumed, which is a smart move.
