Contract Offers & Travel/Relocation Considerations

Ok, so let's see if I'm understanding things correctly from what I've read. I received a contract offer from an org for one of my fighters the other day. Unfortunately, the org is across the pond from where my fighter is based. If I understand correctly, I have several options:

- Decline the offer.

- Accept the offer, and if I want to potentially use their gym, I'd have to relocate my fighter to the other city, which would be cost prohibitive.

- Accept the offer, but keep my fighter where he is and simply travel for fights. Keep training in my own city, potentially with a better gym.

Now, regarding the last option...normally I see that travelling would be cost prohibitive and seldom worth it for the return value for fights. The trip would be $700, plus time, plus energy loss. However, I also believe I read somewhere in the forums that travel is broken or not turned on now, and that you can simply cancel the auto-flight that is set up by the system and you will be magically transported there in time for your fight and returned home, no loss of energy, time...and cash? So, if my fighter chose to sign with this other org, stay located in his own city rather than the org's main location...could he get away with fighting for them without incurring the costs for travel and energy losses?

Thanks for any help!

Yes travel is turned off so you can safely cancel autoflights. It does incur a small cost, the part that is not refunded when you cancel, but i wouldn't worry about that.

Ah, ok, I didn't realize there was a part not refunded. Do you know if there is a reference I can use to look up what that would be? I'll do some searching on my own as well to try to figure that out. Thanks, again, as always. You've been very helpful.

The cost of the flight would be $700 for this particular instance as you already determined. 80% of which is returned when you cancel the autoflight and there is no cost for returning to your own city post fight. So you will end up paying $140 for the autoflight which you canceled. Can be a bit rough for a young fighter, but the fight pay should more than offset that.

Exactly, the fight pay should more than offset it vs. what he'd get in the QFC fights, and if I read it correctly, the manager (me) would get 10% in an org vs. getting nothing from a QFC I think? Which is good as well. It just would have been much more questionable if the full $700 had to be eaten for flights. Thanks for the info and confirmation!

How do I relocate a fighter I signed a contract but can t figure out how to move my fighter so he based out of there any would be much appreciated.

Your fighter doesn't need to be based in the city his org is in you just need to cancel his auto flight and he will be automatically transported to fight. The only reason to relocated would be to have him train in a certain gym in that city. If you indeed already understand that go to the Map page (top right in menu) and move. There are penalties for doing this but I don't remember what they are. Another option is to relocate by jet.
