I would love to see the fighter intensity doings changed. I cant count the number of times i accidentally pushed the change button on accident before i actually changed it to full time. Then i have to wait i think two days or more before i can change it again. I just did it a second ago on my phone its really easy to do.

And option for orgs when sending contracts to fighters who are participating in a tournament that auto accepts fight offers....If fighter enters a tourney, he enters at the risk of not winning....There should be an auto accept option so that when these fighters are offered a fight within the tourney rules...or even after like 2 or 3 days to allow the manager a chance himself to do it or something :) especially as these weekly tourneys are getting more popular.

Couple this with the Tournament suggestion in the main improvement forum....Where you could essentially generate a tourney in game similar to how QFC is ran and be able to adjust the length and payout...

I know I haven't been a member for long but I think a good idea would be having a specialist skill that you choose when you create a new fighter. Obviously it has to be one of the ones that are already listed eg. Say a Mt guy chooses to have elbows or knees as his specialist move. So that gets to do 25% more damage. Or a BJJ guy chooses submissions and the same applies. This could also be used in a defensive way on say striking defense or grappling defence where there is a 25% boost to that person's skill, or on physical skills such as strength or agility.

Also the twist to this could be that the skill is only known to the user on their profile and not anyone else.

I just this could make a real difference to the top level fighters whose skills almost match each other because the four base styles, boxing, Mt, Wrestling, and BJJ are almost always elite at that level and quite often the results go to the judges scorecards. Just think this could be a way of giving the fighters one skill that gives them a boost, and could be a real difference maker in a close bout...

What to you guys think? ?

I like it. Especially the hidden element of it. Adds some personality, and should be easy to program.

Also following on from that, if you wanted to bring in more money for the game, you could have the option of improving some secondaries to World class,maybe expand the limit to 175, instead of 150.but like I said only on the secondary skills. You could only improve a maximum of three, so as not to create to an unfair advantage. so you get one free when you create your new fighter like I mentioned in my previous post, but also maybe you could have a maximum of three but you can only buy the other two for say $5 each with real cash and not Vip time. Obviously you wouldn't want to spend real money until you know your fighter is going to be elite, but when his secondaries reach 150 you can then purchase the other two for each fighter to 175.this means every player including non vips could improve their fighters to a higher level, and current top managers would have to spend money, instead of trading in game cash for Vip time. Also as these secondaries would be hidden from view and only known to the manager, they would also be unlikely to just get rid of fighters willy nilly if they have spent real cash improving them.

I think there is no way this does not create any unfair advantage, this will only increase the gap between COZAD fighters and VIP managers that can fast sack and keep trying until they get a granite chin fast learner that will stay forever in a private 1x1 gym
This COULD be a hidden tho. There could be a hidden that changes one or two secondaries (from the same primary) cap to 175, so IF the fighter trains it, he is "state of the art".

That's what I meant either state of the art or world class, especially as it will only affect secondaries. Say you have a bjj guy and want to improve his transitions and submissions, if he is rated in both at 150 and 140. You buy upgrades of 25 pts for each secondary at say $5 dollars each, or even $2.50 if $5 too expensive, so now your fighters submission and transition stats would be 175 & 165. They have now gone past the 150 elite ceiling and become state of the art /world class. Now before people jump on the this is pay to win, bandwagon. It doesn't necessarily mean this guy will be invincible as you could have a fighter with no upgrades who has better takedown defence to the upgraded bjj fighters take down offence. So the unupgraded fighter still has more than a fair chance of winning say by stand up striking if his stats are better than the bjj guys. What this does is obviously gives the upgraded fighter a better chance to win on the ground. But not has such an advantage where he is completely unbeatable. Obviously any secondary and physical stats could be upgraded to state of the art, but only once, and this would be for a set amount of secondaries maximum of 2 or 3 and would last for the duration of the fighters career.

I understand. I just think you shouldnt make it acessible to every fighter, even more pay to win. Make it a hidden would be nice tho.

Also, "World Class" already exist in the TOTT. Thats why I called "state of the art"

Well I suppose the only way of improving the game is by putting these ideas out there and discussing them. Where I was coming from was adding an instant 25pt boost that you paid for. But also in your previous comment you gave me the idea of instead of the 25 pt boost being instant. You pay and actually just unlock the option of increasing the secondary by 25 pts but then you have to still train the fighter in that skill to get to the 175 level. This would take a longer amount of time to achieve, and the benefits wouldn't be so instant?...

Thats exactly my point. This game already favors people that can just put a fighter to sit for months in a private gym taking 1v1 sessions. This is not something actually acessible for non-VIP new players (unless they are multis), so making beast projects BETTER is only going to increase the gap. Thats why the skill cap exist.

Now, if the higher cap is a HIDDEN, you still have to train... But you dont know. And this is open to everybody. It increases the RnG, but at least it is even odds to everybody. As a hidden, you could have it going both ways, either increase 20pt the skill cap or DECREASE 20 points the skill cap (doesnt matter how HARD they try and train, some guys just DOESNT learn some aspects of the game).

Imagine, you create a MT project you want to make a "cro cop" kicking kind of guy. Good learning speed, KO power... Everything looks tastylicious... And then you discover that his KICKS is cap'd at 130. Fuck. Me.
I think this is going to make cherry picking projects even worse... What can happen:
a- people just forget about testing hiddens and creating beast projects and just go with whatever comes

b- old players do not accept a new style of playing and the game dies

Dunno, I think people are already pissed as it is, when you create a fighter and have to sack because slow learner... And when it comes a good learner, it is good in bed or cuts easily... Try and poke fighter creation any more and I dont think the player base would have a positive reaction... Maybe this COULD be done way back, few years ago...

I was under the impression that there was caps for fighters skills anyway and not all skills make it to 150 anyway. Or is it just at age 25 fighters slow down their learning?? What about a newly created 25 Yr old fighter who has fast learning as a trait when it was created. Does that mean this won't improve much either purely because of its age??

Skill cap "anyway" is a "new" thing. In the old days you could master everything 150.

I was under the impression that there was caps for fighters skills anyway and not all skills make it to 150 anyway. Or is it just at age 25 fighters slow down their learning?? What about a newly created 25 Yr old fighter who has fast learning as a trait when it was created. Does that mean this won't improve much either purely because of its age?

Call outs - Under the Edit Personal Details page where you have post-fight options, you can choose to call out any fighter. There would be a tab, you choose the Call Out option & simply type in the fighters Name/ID & an automated message is DMd to the manager/matchmaker to setup the fight.

 

Depending on if its a good/bad call out will affect your hype. (Ex. Calling out the champ when youre ranked 10 would not go over well with fans. However calling out a guy you matchup well with stylistically and close in rank would raise hype.)

 

Contesting a loss or draw - similar to call outs there should be an option to contest the fight. This will either go good/bad with the fans and affect your hype

 

Referee breaking the clinch - I dont know if someone suggested this already as I havent read through the thread but this would be great. Its self explanatory but we have referee stand ups, why not for breaking the clinch for inactivity?

 

Adding to the above. Referee personalities. Just like IRL each referee is different. Some will let you work on the ground/clinch while others will stand a fight up quickly.

 

Also we should have an option in the tactics section to fight Southpaw/Orthodox/Conventional/Switch or utilize an MT/Karate stance or a low wrestling stance to defend/shoot takedowns.
