POST TOURNAMENT PRESS CONFERENCE:

NY Fight Nights : Legens creation tournament ( Invitational)

- All good things must come to an end -

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/144688237210gd6xc.jpg

As the tournament came to conclusion, I can honestly say that I felt very proud.

I have done many things in my 'career' in MMA Tycoon, but this has been one of the most satisfying by far.

Tournaments have always given an extra dimension to the game, but creativity and motivation seemed to be lacking somewhat in recent years.

When I came up with the tournament-style, I was still a bit hesitant at first; I only wanted to give it my best shot and make sure that there was pretty much zero chance of it becoming a faillure. There are plenty of aspects that come into play when setting up and running a tournament, with also always a few factors that are hard to control for the tournament creator. Open communication and clear rules were curcial and I am glad to say that it went very well.

I would like to congratulate the winner, David Brent, who was also one of the most specatular fighters throughout the entire tournament!

The runner-up, Marky Mark, showcased his brutal finishing power and good use of his reach, to get silver.

Knowing Marky, he was gutted to not win the tournament, but holy shit , what a fantastic fight in the final!

( NY Fight Nights Legends Trophy)

9-2-0

9 (t) KO's

6 event awards!

I want to thank a few different people, in no particular order:

* All the participants, who put their creations up against some of the stiffest competition out there for youngsters.
The participant list was highly impressive and it was a pleasure working with all of you.

Some took the risk of not testing before the tournament and they were so honorable to not cut their losses during the tournament and instead kept on going.

* Rei, for making such cool posters during the regular part of the tournament.

* James Isaac Abraham for his epic previews for the semi-finals and final.

* Everyone who followed the tournament from the sidelines and kept cheering on their favorite fighters.

* All managers who voted for this tournament during the yearly awards!
