Steel
http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=218050 Arturo "Zico" Atunes http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14106007577414.png Following his 5 round draw with Neno Pejovsky, an exhausted Atunes made time for the LA press. Reporter "Gruelling fight, you happy with the result?" Atunes "Firstly I would like to thank the CEC for having me here, and Scott Davies who arranged the fight. I would also like to thank Neno and his camp for taking the fight so close to the Olympics, I don't know if he is going for CEC but I wish him well. Yeh, well it was a close fight, I know I had the edge in the striking but I got real frustrated with the takedowns even though he didn't do much, it killed time and I was getting worried I wasn't striking enough before he lay on me. But this is MMA not K1 so I am grateful the judges saw past the blanket and could see I was hitting harder and more often, so yeh, I can take a draw. Neno Pejovsky is tough as nails, he is a real handful for anyone because he sticks you on your back, and he has a great chin, so you have to stay active striking and that left me open to the takedown." Reporter "Next its the Olympics, your thoughts?" Atunes "I've signed with the org and I am against Saades who is coming off a loss, but to be fair against a real tough fighter. Saades has good power and a great ground game, but if I get top position I am pretty confident on the ground. Anyway, it will be real tough but I look forward to testing his chin, and I will look for the KO for sure. I don't think he has the durability of Neno so I will look to put some heavy hands on him and get the finish."

Steel
http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14106007577414.png Arturo Atunes Nearly 93,000 MMA fans packed out the LA Coliseum last night and for a vast majority it was a night of heartbreak and disappointment as the Rock Star of MMA Arturo 'Zico' Atunes, exited the Olympics in the 1st round via unanimous decision to Octavio Saades. In one of the most controversial decisions in recent memory, all 3 cage side judges awarded Saades a wide unanimous points decision that had commentators, fight fans and above all the Alpha Male fight camp scratching their heads. For most, Atunes was 3 rounds to 1 up going into the 5th round after Atunes had taken down and then rocked a brave Saades in the 4th round. With the decision seemingly locked up for Atunes, Team Alpha Male gave their Brazilian Superstar instructions to take no risks and see the fight out, whereas the Saades camp barked at their man to look for the KO as they too had the impression Atunes had the fight wrapped up. What followed will live in the memories of all who witnessed the decision as the crowd booed a shocking decision, that saw UPG President KC Cooper removed from the arena as his fury boiled over. Even MFN supremo Uncle Lar was seen talking to the judges asking them if the announcement was wrong. A shrug of the shoulders followed by: "I don't know what to say", followed, as Joe Rogan asked if the decision was right, as cups , cans and fight programmes flooded the cage. However, the judges had scored in favour of brave Octavio Saades, who had pecked at Atunes all evening, but without making a dent in the granite tough Brazilian. Atunes on his part, had landed the heavier shots, and looked the more powerful fighter at range, in the clinch, and on the ground. Despite the opinion of a near 93,000 MMA fans, the judges favoured Saades, and the worlds most popular fighter was out. Atunes was class as always, as he addressed the crowd and attempted to bring calm to proceedings. "Hey, it was a close fight, Octavio fought well, I have respect for him, his coaches and we must respect the competition. I will be back, these things happen, in life and in the cage. It is how we respond that defines us." At the post fight press conference, Atunes said of the decision: "Sure, it is disappointing, I landed with power and I eased off in the 5th. To discover I needed to KO him on the judges cards is amazing, and given I had him in trouble in the 4th, if I had known I needed to finish him in the 5th, sure, I would have hunted him down. But everyone seemed so sure I had it won, anyway, that's it, what can I say." In a press release by Team Alpha Male this afternoon, it was announced: "Arturo Atunes, would like to thank his supporters for all the kind words of support after last nights fight. Today after discussions with EVO Supremo Mega Jug, Arturo is delighted to announce he has signed a 3 fight deal and looks forward to gracing the EVO cage very soon. Arturo would also like to wish Octavio Saades every success in his Olympic campaign." 1

This fight will not go the distance, so make sure you do not miss it. Falcao is a beast, I can't wait to get back in that cage."
