MasterLeader
Tried to keep the title spoiler friendly... Very impressed with Lesnar tonight, but I think he needs to face someone with good BJJ to offset his wrestling and keep the fight standing. Lesnar probably needs another win first, but... Lesnar vs Werdum - Who wins?
stpierrecanada
Werdum first round KO, easy fight for Werdum IMO.
MasterLeader
Yeah I think Werdum has far superior striking. Is there any chance Lesnar could take him down and lay & pray?
stpierrecanada
Lesnar looked good, I'm not taking anything away from him.. But a 43 year old Mark Hunt and basically Prime Werdum are two different worlds. Lesnar might do well early but Werdum would suck him into a submission late in the first I think. He is a great human being, when he is excited and have something to prove he can be a dangerous fighter even for Werdum, it all depend on how much Lesnar want a win or is hyped. Wolf
I really like Lesnar and admired him stepping back into the cage after 5 years out. He proved it to everyone and to himself, but I think he should walk away for good now. I don't see him beating the top 5 and top 10 would give him trouble. JLP
I would favor Werdum over Lesnar slightly. Maybe I am the only one who remembers how slow Werdum looked in his last fight.
MasterLeader
I don't think it will be as decisive as some of you think however. But odds would probably be at like 3.50 [+250] for Lesnar

He always been slow on standup, with precision striking and dem lights out knees.

Cause that same Mark Hunt was fairly battering Werdum until the flying knee. None the less, Lesnar would have to hurt Werdum with his GnP quickly. He'd have a shot, but Werdum is still a fantastic submission guy and would have to be a big favourite.

GiankaBonghi
After the lights out he received from Miocic, i doubt he is still in his prime at 38.
jacky67
Mark hunt was the best match up for Lesnar, Werdum is the worst match up for Lesnar. Pretty simple.

Lesnar is so powerful- you don't think he'd stand a chance on the ground? Wrestling is counter BJJ, but I agree Werdum would probably submit Lesnar eventually... GiankaBonghi
Frank Mir didnt submitted him the second time, but yeah Werdum is a totally different animal on the ground, as i said Brock is a special human being, he can keep winning until he stop "caring" . Mark hunt wasn't trying to take Werdum down... Hunt of course Should win the striking contest with Werdum, but he didn't. Lesnar would take Werdum down and feel comfortable while Werdum is totally happy fighting off his back against a pure wrestler.
Erik
Depends on if Lesnar gets another doping policy exemption.

I think he would stand a chance of course especially if he get good training for this fight and that Werdum underestimate Lesnar control. What we see rencently from strong bjj guy like werdum, jacare or maia once they are taken down by wrestlers they use bjj to get back up if they feel they can't submit the guy.
LEGEND4R3AL
This fight should never happen, if brock is smart he will maybe fight a few more times against maybe velasquez, JDS, Frank Mir, etc. Then retire with a nice little win streak.

Wtf, "a nice little win streak " against the likes of JDS and Velasquez?? wtf again? Actually the chances he have to win a fight is against Werdum himself, Frank Mir is not marketable anymore.
