Alfred Posted April 9, 2018 Report Share Posted April 9, 2018 Official thread for the new World Vale Tudo Fight League fight organisation out of Los Angeles. Idea is simple. 20 fighters will participate in a season. Those 20 fighters will be split into four groups of five and each fighter will face each other once. The top 2 from each group will then qualify for the end of season knockout stage where they will battle to decide the overall season winner. Once the season is over there will be a short break to set up the next and the idea is to repeat again with hopefully as many fighters from the original taking part once more. Obviously there will be some fighters that won't pan out so it will give us time to fill any vacant slots in the roster. The group stage will last about 8 weeks and managers will need to commit to four fights no matter how badly they're doing. A whole season should last about 14 weeks from start to finish. I was waiting for 335k to roll around but I didn't realise how slowly that would go so I'm looking to kick things off much sooner. Fighters can be created as from today and I will be looking to set the first event four weeks from today (5th May) For this initial season fighters must be 18 years old and can be any weight. Testing is allowed. Also the possibility of entering two fighters might be there (depending on numbers) so long as you are ok with the possibility of them facing each other at some point (efforts will be made to keep them apart during group stage) but that will be a last resort if we don't get the 20 fighters soon enough. Fights will take place every two weeks so fair warning that you might face the possibility of fighting injured or cut. Any longer in between fights and the whole thing would take too long. 3 points for a finish win. 2 points for a dec win. 0 points for a loss (in the scenario of an manager going awol the full 3 will be given to the opposing manager) Round will be 2x10 except for the final which will be 3x10. As for prizes, it's going to be more of an ongoing org type thing so I wasn't planning on going too crazy with that. I'm also not likely to make any profit out of this at all so it's more in the interest of fun and competition. That being said for this initial season the overall winner will get 3 months VIP and the prize pool will stagger down from 1st to 4th 100k, 75k, 50k, 25k. Creation is open now so whenever you are ready send me your fighter. I'll lock in a fighter when the recruitment goes well He had posted this for IFC tournament before he moved on from IFC so in a way this is late not spontaneous since it was orginally going to start april 1st for creation. That is if he didnt lose too much interest from postponing which i doubt it the case or creation would not have opened. side note i will make my fighter later today i am far too tired to make something new and i know what happened last time i mindlessly made a fighter.
