Guest
Hi Everyone, I'm pretty new to the game, have been slowly reading through the Wiki/Forums for more information. Although being a big MMA fan, I don't know much in depth about the real life ins and outs of training. If I were to say create a fresh 18 yr old fighter how many weeks of training and what baseline of stats is a good measure before I accept a fight? Thanks, dEE

Thanks, dEE as long as you're fighting against other fighters that have skills around the same as yours, you can start fighting almost right away. just get your cardio up to at least wonderful first. Beck
That's what I have been told. Don't train under 85% energy is my standard, but avoid dropping under 80% for sure

Guest
I suppose yoga give flexibility. If I have a stand-up fighter that try to avoid the fight on the ground, does flexibility help at something? I think it says in one of the newbie guides that balance will help with takedown defence. I think flexibility helps with submissions and head kicks. EDIT: flexibility is the the guide listed too. http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=10763 Hope that helps
