joseppe
Ive had a look around but cant find an answer. When sparring you need to spar with somebody better than you as i understand it but is there a way to see who you will actually be sparring with? JakeF
Click on sparring schedule at the gym page. Then click on each sparring session to see who is participating and his sparring worth.

RegularJohn
Also afaik the ideal split is a group of 9 fighters sparring and to get maximal gains you should be sparring people with the primary skill two levels above yours. What I don't know is what's the minimum ammount of people needed to get a good sparring session.

What I don't know is what's the minimum ammount of people needed to get a good sparring session. You get a bonus for 5+ fighters. 9 isn't the ideal, though usually it is better than 10, because a group of 10 gets split to two groups of 5 with best 5 fighters in first group, so your fighter might be in a group with the 4 worst fighters. RegularJohn
So you get maximal gains if there are anywhere from 5-9 fighters?
JakeF
So you get maximal gains if there are anywhere from 5-9 fighters? You get maximal gains if the group you are in is at least 5 fighters, and the average sparring worth of the group is 20% higher than your fighter's primary skill.
