  1. A Look Inside: JAG Edition has just been posted with Mate Baker. http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=63452&do=findComment&comment=876148
  2. A Look Inside: JAG Edition. Will: Welcome to a new interview column called a A Look Inside: JAG Edition. To get this started off right I have decided to start the interview with the man himself, the brain child behind JAG, our owner Nate Baker. Nate: Thanks for having me, bro. I love being able to share my thoughts on my ideas, org and fighters. Let's do this. Will: So lets get this started! First off what made you want to develop and open the doors for JAG? Nate: As a new manager, I made a lot of mistakes concerning my fighters careers. Their builds, their training, what fights to take. Let me tell you, some orgs don't give a damn about your fighters. They will out your fighter on the back burner. Or, even worse, make your fighter a punching bag or a fluff fighter to boost their favorites recird. I wanted JAG to cater to new managers and fighters. I'm not going to make uneven matchups, save when it comes to title or requested fights. I try to work with managers, emphasizing the importance of training and guiding their fighters career. You want your fighter to rrain for 3 months, 6 months, whatever it takes. Just make sure he's ready when he hits the cage. Will: JAG is a unique name, where did you come up it? Also why the Juggernaut as your mascot? Nate: Juggernauts and gladiators personify what I want in fighters. Gladiators went out and fought for their lives. Brutal and skillful warriors. Juggernauts, the very definition of a Juggernaut is what I want to see from fighters. An unstoppable force that keeps going and destroying everything in its path until something supernatural stops it. Will: How is the company shaping up for next year? Do you have any big plans you can share with all of us? Nate: Right now I'm concentrating on ending this year with a bang. As for next year, I started having fights on Fridays for lower ranked fighters and up and comers. At the moment we lose hype on these events, but I'm focused on the long run. Theae events will have newer fighters facing each and they will build hype as time goes on. Also, I was planning an interleague event. Was the biggest thing I was working on. But, just about all leagues that started within my fighters ID range are going inactive. So, we'll see in the future. Will: Are you going to do any special End of the Year awards for JAG only? Like Fight of the Year, KO of the Year, Sub of the Year, Trash Talker of the Year, ect? If so will you have some sort of custom trophy for this tremendous Nate: Now that you mention it...yes. Will: I have noticed you do not have a Merchandise partner! Is this something your looking at adding as an extra source of income and some special JAG gear? Nate: That was totally due to my lack of keeping in contact with my merch partner about the situation. But, we have one now. Will: Well lets tie this on down now, What has been the most fun you have had this year with JAG? Nate: Making events, man. It's a hassle, but very rewarding when the events unfold. Watching these guys go hard to get themselves into a position for a championship fight. Will: Thank you for taking the time out to do this interview, I am going to try and get it published in new Tycoon Times as well. Do you have anything else for our readers before we end this? Nate: We made big strides. Jag starter with all new fighters. None of our events featured older fighters to boost ratings. We are consistently in the top 25 and a few times broke top 20. I'm hoping by the end of JAG's inaugural year, that we can break top 15. With this group of fighters, I have high hopes. Lastly, I went on record saying this before, and I'll say it again. JAG is the highest level of competition from 334k and up. Any org owner out their with fighters 334k and up want to come and test us, contact me...I dare you.

  5. Why can we not nominate our alliance that we are in? I understand if we own said alliance but as a member? If that is the case then should we not nominate an org or gym that our fighter is part of?

    Possessions

Why when you can do the same thing by simply sending the clothing to your fighter from your possession
  7. Update to Rankings The new rankings will come out tomorrow. I will be releasing them every other week on Sunday or Monday starting tomorrow, I am also going to release a monthly Top 25 starting tomorrow using our existing rating system. I did however add a new category to the rankings, this takes in effect your overall skill set as deemed in one fighter list in a star format. Your overall skills are rated 1-5 stars, this will give me a % which then will be converted to points and added to your total along with the other criteria. Do you have an idea to help enhance the unique aspect of our ratings? Contact me and lets hear it. I am trying to make this as a fair as possible while utilizing the options available in Tycoon. I am also taking off anyone who has not had a manager log in for more than 15 days (as Tycoon tells us 3, 15, and 30). Also if there is a high ranking fighter who is a Free Agent at the time of the rankings, they will not be added either until the next set comes out. This is to help keep it fair and not ranking fighters with no manager. Also to enhance the ratings and make them a little more accurate, in order to be considered a ranked fighter in JAG you must now have 2 JAG fights minimum, unlike the previous 1. I had noticed with 1 fight you can have a great record and only win 1 time in JAG and be high ranking, So because of this i have decided to make it a 2 fight JAG minimum before you become eligible for rankings.
  8. http://mmatycoon.com/images/tycoon_times/mma%20news%20header.jpg Myself (Will Brawler) and JungleLord have officially taken over the Tycoon times and with it a brand new edition #333. This is the 1st of many in our attempt to revive the times. We will be publishing every Thursday and hope to once again revive the Times. Please check out the latest Edition of Tycoon Times Edition #333 and let us know what you think.
  9. It has been passed on to management and you should be getting an offer or response soon
  10. 1st - Master Bater has legally changed his name to Lincoln Storm 2nd - Jim Jones ranks higher due to the multiple avenues in the formula besides just tycoons hype+pop. He is 3-0, 3 fight of the nights and a KO of the night.
  11. Hello, I am the official JAG Statistician and my sole responsibility at the moment is the TOP 10 for each weight class. I sent out an email to all managers last week with the inaugural rankings but never posted them on the forums for a reason. We are still tweaking the calculation method but have found the best possible way of making it the fairest way possible in Tycoon. In order to be ranked in any weight class you must have at least 1 JAG fight must not have more than 15 days of inactivity for your fighters manager. Once that basic method is met, we add you to our database and try to keep it updated weekly after each event. The database takes in account your JAG Win/Loss percentage over your last 5 JAG fights, Your overall Win/Loss percentage, Stoppage Performance from your last 5 fights (overall record), as well as your Performance bonuses and the Tycoon calculated Hype+Pop aspect. Below are this weeks rankings as we have just had several Gladius fighters compete in their first JAG show. I will post the rankings weekly via Forum, News and PM. If you have any questions, comments or concerns please email Will Brawler via PM on tycoon. 135lb Champion: Ian Laperierre 1 Lincoln Storm 2 Raphael Firenzi 3 My Time 4 Leonardo Yoshi 5 Lyodo Machida 6 Bartlomiej Jan 7 Lamaron Deth 8 Reece HC 9 Khaled Sameer 10 Future Winger 155lb Champion: Julio Cesar Sitsongrit 1 Moese Daldo 2 Tiago Alexandre 3 Diego Oriola 4 Magnus Thoressen 5 Alex Arroyo 6 Knock Out 7 Eduardo Ortiz 8 Andre Valentino 9 Lucky Day 10 Jonny Baker 145lb Champion: Brayden Point 1 Sildosoves Bagueirau 2 Soren Bak 3 Thip Top 4 Kaede Jun 5 Unai Vencedor 6 Rich Zaiou 7 David Davis 8 Marcin Vanatta 9 Frank Stallone 10 Manu Peralta 170lb Champion: Tiago Alexandre 1 Randy Balls 2 Julio Cesar Sitsongrit 3 Sao Alela 4 Mario Benedetti 5 Ivan Brzica 6 Chael Sonnen 7 Khabib Nurmagoduv 8 Finnick Skywalker 9 Magnar Sigthordisson 10 Jordan Scanlan 185lb Champion: Arnoldas Sireika 1 Nejuis Bardamont 2 Marcel Dikoume 3 Brutus Maximus 4 Alex Shelby 5 Dough Boy 6 Richard Kuklinski 7 CJ Johnson 8 Phil Pollock 9 Moshe Rabenu 10 Richie Miles 205lb Champion: Joel Romero 1 Second Winger 2 Eric Von Erikson 3 Gunna Win 4 BIlly the Bastard 5 Iron Fist 6 Maximus Meridius 7 Gentlemen Overlord 8 William Norman 9 Taavi Mottus 10 Aran Ryan 265lb Champion: 1 Jim Jones 2 Joao Neves 3 Seol Ki Hyon 4 Robbie Holmes 5 Duke McStoner 6 Punch Drunk 7 Igor Shevchenko 8 Bill Watson 9 Jose Romero 10 Hunter Smith

  13. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/17/17b4.jpg Richie Miles: You might want to make sure you can get through AK Shelby before you come at me. I will be signing the dotted line tomorrow, and im ready for Chael or you, it don't matter. Bossman hook it up.
