Revheat
Is it a good idea to set SHIG to 100% to test a fighter IQ? Or would it be better to set somewhere in the middle. I have just started experimenting with this. Of course other slider settings are still set like i normally would for each fight/opponent
aylib
You still might not know much from setting it to 100%; give it a try if the fight is a meaningless one. You might have to do several, as opponent quality and builds vary.

For these reasons there is no way to really know for sure other than if you can gauge whether the opponent has good IQ in previous fights but it's all inconclusive in the end. Best way is to just do an IQ test and go from there. Never give a fighter more than 50% SHIG if you don't yet know their IQ level UNLESS they have shown some great intelligence in fights (IE subbing a higher belt level/performing well on the ground vs a better ground fighter combined with getting quick finishes after rocking the opponent).
