Question about Standup Counters

it's like when the other fighter want to take me down i will counter and i will take him down ? or how this works?

It means that when your fighter gets a successful roll for counter attempt:

 

- 20% chance to counter with a strike (striking distribution is taken from the aggressive standup striking distribution you have set);

- 80% chance to counter with a grappling move of which: 97-98% will be counter takedown attempts and rest counter clinch attempts.

 

It doesn't matter for this slider if your opponent has failed a takedown or a clinch or a striking attempt. It is just how your fighter is going to counter.

Your sliders: It s about your fighter going for a takedown as a counter move at every opportunity he gets
