Welcome to The Synchronicity Six, where we will be giving you the chance to get up close and personal with Syn's last remaining warriors as they each make one last venture into the cage for Syn and the Tycoon Olympics. 5 fighters will be fighting to bring home gold and one fighter looking to add bronze to what has been an amazing Tournament for the fighters, their managers and Syn.

First up is none other than Devlin Styles...

Devin “Furious” Styles

Name: Devin Styles
Nickname: “Furious”
Weight (Natural): 205lbs Height: 187cm
MMA Pro record: 25-8-0
Biggest Accolades: Former Syn’ 205 & 265 lbs champion
Manager: Blunts Allday (record 14-5)

On Friday the 4th of July, Devin Styles will be facing the man known as “The Holy Man”, Jensen Saint, in the finale of the Light Heavyweight division in the first MMATycoon Olympic Games. The two men will battle it out to be known as the best light heavyweight in the games and only one can emerge winner, taking the victory back to their respective organisation. Styles will be battling to take gold back for Synchronicity while Vatican City resident Saint will want to go home victorious to EVO.
Syn’ will have to put a lot of faith into the younger Styles, as the 29-year-olds result this Friday could make a huge difference in where they finish in the final table. Styles’ has earned the trust and respect of the management and his fellow fighters, not only during the Olympic period with two impressive stoppage victories, but also during his time with Synchronicity. Since his arrival on the scene in Syn Styles has had 16 fights and during that time he’s won both the light heavyweight and heavyweight titles, with his biggest achievement being when he stopped the hype train known as Scotty Bennett (Bennett before his defeat to Styles was previously 27-0 pro record).
Devin was also once the world number 2 pound-for-pound fighter after an impressive period of ten victories in eleven fights before losing his heavyweight title to “The Thing” Ben Grimm. It is unclear at this point what Devin has been training in the lead-up to this bout but with 21 of his 25 victories coming by (T)KO stoppages, it’s hard to see any other game plan that go for the knock-out. The only concern Styles’ may have coming in will be the ability of Saint on the ground but if Devin can keep the fight standing it’s hard to look past a Devin Style and Synchronicity win on Friday night. We look forward to seeing you all there and please send your best fan photo’s to the Synchronicity twitter (or Smack Talk page) in support of the Light Heavyweight hero!

Thanks guys :)

Competition

Let's try and get the thread moving some more and have a little bit of fun. So a little competition. I'm doing this off the top of my head so there might be a few holes in it but let's see.

With only a few more hours until the fight, I'm after guesses for the winner, which round and the time (nearest guess takes it).

What will you win?

Guess the winner - $25K

Then guess the round - $25K

Then guess the time - $50K

All money direct to managers account for each correct guess. Get all three right you get gold and 3 points (see what I'm doing), first to get winner and round right gets silver and 2 points and first to get the winner right gets bronze and 1 point. 1 guess per manager, per fight.

The points will then be carried over each fight until the end of the Olympics then with each point you'll get one 'ticket' into a draw for a grand prize of $500K.

**EDIT** Closes at 00:00 London time.

Just to clarify the rules using Caleb as an example.

His guess would be Devin, round 5, 5 mins. So if anyone else guesses this and it's correct, all guesses win, but as Caleb entered first he will get the gold, the second guess silver and so on. If it finishes in another round but with Devin as winner he get's just the prize for getting the fighter right.

Well done on the win blunts and Syn's first gold of the Olympics.

Now for the mini comp -

Widing get's all 3 so $100K and 3 points.

Because no one else got the winner and round correct I'm going to go to the first 2 people to get the winner right and they get joint bronze (remember this is for fun and I'm doing it off the topof my head :) ).

So joint Bronze we have

Caleb613 and The Wolf.

I'm also going to do this for the other 5 fights so when they're up guess away. Everyone who has a guess gets one point as well so that everyone is in with a chance for the $500K. Just means the better the guess the more chances you get.

An Insight on….
Synchronicity’s Featherweight Champion

Matt Miller

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/5/5b6.jpg

Name: Matt Miller
Nickname: -
Weight (Natural): 159lbs (featherweight div) Height: 173cm
MMA Pro record: 36-10-1
Biggest Accolades: Current Syn Featherweight Champion
Manager: Kelly McGrady (36-10-1)

Matt Miller began his career under the guidance of manager Kelly McGrady and 36 wins, 10 losses and 1 draw later, Miller will be looking to McGrady to help him one more time to the ultimate goal – the featherweight Olympic gold medal! The fight takes place under the AD banner as they head the featherweight category of the Olympics and Miller will have a lot on his hands when he faces Ice Cold on the 11th of July.

McGrady has set Miller up with the great guys at Hits Like a Girl gym in preparation of the big match-up and it is expected Miller will be working closely with former MMA fighter and wrestling coach Tom Donavon to work on his ability to pile on the pressure and finish on the mat. This fight could finish anywhere as both men are very versatile in where they can get the finish from, even though Miller isn’t known for a submission finish he has had more than one TKO victory and a lot of those close to him see another one on the way with the level of focus he has displayed. Miller currently only has one loss in the last twelve fights and is undefeated in Syn so it’ll be interesting to see which way this ones goes!
