Kings Fighting Championship opens doors at 310k ID

After months of solid preparation, Kings FC owner David King and CEO Krum Koev announced that the fight organization is funded and ready to open its doors as soon as the game reaches 310k ID. The news, which were embraced as a present by the MMA fans around the world, came exactly on Boxing Day when an initial announcement was posted on the company’s website. Here is a short briefing on what important information we managed to gather from the announcement and other sources like the company’s website and rumors from people close to King and Koev:

  • Kings FC will be based in London and it will operate with four private jets to comfort it’s fighters who come from any other big fighting city in the world. The organization will open and sign fighters to every weight division, but the Super Heavyweight. Rumors are that event structure will be consisting of Main Events (KFC 1, KFC 2, etc.) and Fight Nights.

People from King’s and Koev’s surrounding claim that both owner and CEO are anticipating the 310k ID and are eager to start working on their roster by aggressively looking for young talent everywhere, “under every stone of the tycoon universe” as some of them joked.

Another thing that should intrigue the fighters and their fans is that while browsing the official company page, we stumbled upon an image of Kings FC’s Championship belt – what a shiny piece of trophy! We are completely sure that there will be fighters putting extra effort in the gym with the sole purpose of acquiring that belt.

As a conclusion of this article, we would like to say that we are as eager as you to see how is Kings Fighting Championship going to develop, but one thing is for sure – it will bring a solid portion of excitement and adrenaline to all the fans in the tycoon universe!

Kings FC announces new merchandise deal

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1482914030pqJYExM.png

Earlier today, Kings Fighting Championship’s CEO Krum Koev dropped by a popular talk show, broadcasted on a famous London radio station to discuss the financial part of the fight organization business. He started by assuring everyone that Kings FC is rich enough to reach its goals, stating he is fully satisfied with the number of fighters signed a few days after the organization started recruiting talent. The major news, that surprised everyone listening to the station, were that Kings FC has signed a merchandise partnership deal with HGH Nutrients, a very popular nutrition company, based in Amsterdam. Here’s what Koev shared on the matter:

“We are very happy to announce our new deal with HGH Nutrients. Partnering with a company of such scale would be extremely beneficial to Kings FC. As both sides are EU-businesses, we will be looking to expand on the EU-market first and then head straight forward to America and Asia. Once Kings FC gets close to its first event, we will be helping our best fighters in securing them sponsorship deals with HGH Nutrients.”

Short update on the org. - first two events have been booked for 18.02. and 25.02. We are still letting some fighters on our roster QFC, because we believe in them winning and coming back as main event headliners.

Also our logo has been pimped up by the mighty War Pig:

Prediction:

Woodley by decision

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/3/3w6.jpg vs http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/31/31b38.jpg

Strong Wrestling Proficient Striking

Blue BJJ Belt Big Heart

Unimpressive Striking Weak ground game

The co-main event of the KFC 1: The Beginning offers an amazing Lightweight match-up between Chea Soun and Tyron Woodley. That's what every specialist calls "a classic grappler vs striker" fight. Soun will be making his professional debut, while Woodley already impressed with an early KO victory in his only amateur fight before joining the Kings FC. The Tokyo-based Chea Soun would be looking to utilize his wonderful grappling skills and take the fight to the mat, since he is no match for Woodley's amazing striking abilities. Woodley's main discipline is Muay Thai, which makes him a dangerous finisher, but he has also been taking boxing classes, which provides him with a rich arsenal of stand-up moves - strong punches, kicks and solid clinchwork. We are yet to see what Soun has to offer us, but we should be expecting fireworks! Rumors are that Woodley has been training very hard for this battle. The key to this fight's outcome is whether Woodley manages to keep away from the ground and dominate the stand-up battle, or Soun is going to drag him down and showcase his exceptional grappling.

5. MAIN EVENT: Bantamweight bout - Thiago Cavalcanti Azevedo vs Frank Shuman

http://i.imgur.com/7Cv7ipz.jpg

odds:

Azevedo (1,55 Favorite) - Shuman (1,98 Underdog)

Prediction:

Azevedo by submission

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/7/7b11.jpg vs http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/34/34w6.jpg

Decent Wrestling Exceptional wrestling

Brown BJJ Belt Blue BJJ belt

Extraordinary Fast Solid Chin

The main event brings us the most valuable asset on Kings FC's roster and probably future Bantamweight king - Thiago Cavalcanti Azevedo, who will have a serious obstacle on his first step on the stairway to the top of the division - the LA-based former wrestler, Frank Shuman. This promises to be a solid grappling contest, which could serve the purpose to show both the strong and weak sides of the ground disciplines - a Brown BJJ belt faces a strong wrestler. Coming off an impressive 4-0 amateur career, Azevedo showcased his exceptional BJJ skills, forcing all his 4 opponents to tap-out early in round 1. His speed, discipline and amazing ground technique already earned him a lot of fans, who would kill for the opportunity to see him perform at KFC 1! But he shouldn't get complacent and he shouldn't forget that he is facing a serious opponent in the face of Frank Shuman. Shuman has just one amateur fight on his record, but it was enough for us to see that you shouldn't mess with his ground game - a complete grappler, utilizing both deadly submissions and strong ground and pound into his arsenal of ground moves. Azevedo felt comfortable with his back on the ground during some of his amateur fights, but this shouldn't be the case here. Shuman is a beast if given the top position. We are all very curious to see the outcome of this fight, aren't we? I am expecting it to be a solid grappling contest, with Azevedo having the edge on the ground due to his experience and slightly better technique.

FIGHTERS TO WATCH:

1. Gordon Jones

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/25/25w3.jpg

A very skillful Muay Thai striker, who could turn himself into a favorite for the KFC's Heavyweight title with a few wins. Outstanding striking abilities, athletic body and a decent wrestling, which could give him an edge when he is facing grapplers. You can expect great things from him in the incoming months.

2. Thor "The Norwegian God" Hammer

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/42/42w9.jpg

An youngster with impressive talent, who is yet to prove himself. Having a solid boxing background, Thor has a promise to dominate KFC's middleweight division in long-term. His first professional fight brings him a hard test against a more experienced fighter, but as they say - "you should strike while the iron is hot"!

http://mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1486819636KFC2.jpg

The second event of Kings Fighting Championship's schedule has been announced for 25.02.2017, at the Wild Bob's bar in London. When the fight card was posted, it attracted a lot of interest from fans all around the world, because now it is the perfect time for every fighter to grab the opportunity, squeeze it and cement his place as a serious title contender! The match-makers at KFC expressed their delight that they have managed to bring a whole lot of young talent to the org., and that some of those fighting prospects are going to appear at KFC 2 - such as "The Last Viking" who will be fighting Luis Wilde at the co-main event, the talented US wrestler Glotzbach, Kevin Huang and Fabian Dominguez. The exciting main event will feature a clash between two very serious lightweight contenders - Liam Kennedy would go toe to toe with Herbert Burns. Here we go with the fights:

1. Welterweight bout - Nico "The Hammer" Hassenkamp vs "The Crayon Eater" Gareth Kent

Prediction:

Hassenkamp by KO

2. Light heavyweight bout - Phillip "Le Diable" Roberts vs Professional "Pre-determined" Tussling

Kings FC Bookies odds:

Roberts (2,60 Underdog) - Tussling (1,31 Favorite)

Goodman (1,94 Underdog) - Huang (1,57 Favorite)

Prediction:

Kings FC Bookies odds:

Simpson (2,00 Underdog) - Valk (1,54 Favorite)

Prediction:

Valk by Decision

MAIN CARD:

1. Light heavyweight bout - James "Obese Negros" Hickson vs Tommy "The Hitman" Jones

Hickson (2,11 Underdog) - Jones (1,48 Favorite)

Prediction:

Jones by decision

Reyes (1,85 Underdog) - Booty (1,64 Favorite)

Prediction:

Booty by KO

3. Middleweight bout - Vinny "Greasy" Gallucci vs Jacob "The Military Man" Glotzbach

Kings FC Bookies odds:

Gallucci (2,74 Underdog) - Glotzbach (1,27 Favorite)

Prediction:

Glotzbach by KO

4. CO-MAIN EVENT: Welterweight bout - Joerfi "The Last Viking" Valmarsson vs Luis "West" Wilde

http://i.imgur.com/7Cv7ipz.jpg

odds:

Valmarsson (1,56 Favorite) - Wilde (1,96 Underdog)

Prediction:

Wilde by decision

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/11/11w17.jpg vs http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/16/16w2.jpg

Brown BJJ Belt Good boxer

Weak Wrestling Basic Wrestling

Unimpressive Striking Blue BJJ Belt

The co-main event of KFC 2: Kennedy vs Burns offers an exciting match-up between a talented BJJ practitioner, the 18 year old Joerfi Valmarsson, and the 24 year old London-favorite Luis Wilde. The outcome of this fight is very unpredictable because of several reasons. First, we couldn't tell if "The Last Viking" would manage to drag the fight to the ground, where he has very serious advantage thanks to his amazing BJJ skills. His wrestling and takedown attempts are still far away from the level he wants them to be, but in a recent interview, Joerfi mentioned that he is training hard on that area. Maybe in his fight at KFC 2 he could try some surprising BJJ trick as pulling guard but we can't say for sure. One thing is for sure - once Valmarsson gets the fight to the ground, he could destroy his opponent. Second reason why this fight is hard to predict is the form of Luis Wilde. "West" is basically known as an impressive boxer, who has the wrestling skills to defend Valmarsson's takedown attempts. On his day, the young Scandinavian wouldn't be a match for him. And third, as they say - "even the walls help at home", there would be lots of exalted British fans, cheering for the London based Luis Wilde. So our advice to tycoon fans is to stay tuned and watch the event on 25.02.

5. MAIN EVENT: Lightweight bout - Liam "Butcher" Kennedy vs Herbert "The Blaze" Burns

http://i.imgur.com/7Cv7ipz.jpg

odds:

Kennedy (1,60 Favorite) - Burns (1,90 Underdog)

Prediction:

Kennedy by KO

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/31/31w45.jpg vs http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40b17.jpg

Exceptional Muay Thai Strong wrestling

Solid Wrestling Purple BJJ belt

Has the confidence Unimpressive striking

For the main event the match-makers at KFC have prepared us a solid striker versus grappler fight. Liam Kennedy, who looks like one of the most serious contenders in the lightweight division, comes with an impressive 5-0 amateur record. He is a striking specialist in Muay Thai, who uses heavy punches to deliver rough punishment to his opponents. On the other side, Herbert Burns isn't someone who you would call a proficient striker, but he has an amazing ground game. A lot of pro fighters could learn from his strong wrestling and even stronger BJJ. He became so popular after publishing at youtube a video of himself doing BJJ drills at the gym, that KFC gave him a main-event on his debut fight. So "The Blaze" is yet to prove himself against a more experienced opponent in the face of "Butcher" Kennedy. The key to this fight's outcome would be the answer to the question Is Kennedy's wrestling going to be enough to deflect Burns' takedown attempts, or "The Blaze" will do what he does best and win it on the ground? Watching the event is the best way to know!

FIGHTERS TO WATCH:

1. Jacob "The Military Man" Glotzbach

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/27/27w33.jpg

One of the most serious KFC's young talents. An amazing wrestler, who just left the army. His discipline level and work rate are least to say impressive. Keep an eye on him because he has a great future in the middleweight division!

2. Nico "The Hammer" Hassenkamp

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/39/39w14.jpg

Hassenkamp starts his career with an undercard bout but that should be a measure of his popularity, not his skill. A dexterous striker who also has the wrestling to do well in MMA. Expect him to make a serious run in the welterweight division. Could even turn into a top contender with a few wins.

Good write up again!

I come bearing a message from one of the fighters I manage, Booty "Booty" Booty to be delivered to Kyle Reyes.

He deigns not to try to speak English, but his message translates something like:

"I will eat your booty like groceries."

...It sounded more intimidating in his native tongue.

KFC 2: Kennedy vs Burns

UNDERCARD:

1. Welterweight bout - Nico "The Hammer" Hassenkamp vs "The Crayon Eater" Gareth Kent

Kings FC Bookies odds:

Hassenkamp (1,32 Favorite) - Kent (2,53 Underdog)

Prediction:

Hassenkamp by KO

"This man eats crayons, boy you better run. Everyone else get to the bookies, Kent goes down in one." - Nico "The Hammer" Hassenkamp

Here is a quick recap on KFC 1: The Beginning:

The youngster Thor Hammer lived up to the expectations and managed to finish DK Shaw in only 26 seconds. In the co-main event Chea Soun surprised Tyron Woodley with an early takedown and managed to finish him on the ground. In the most anticipated fight, the main event of the evening, Frank Shuman surprised everyone by dominating Azevedo on the ground, winning the first two rounds and managing to execute a nasty armbar in round 3. A finish which rocket-jumped Shuman to the top of Kings FC's P4P rankings. We also managed to see a bunch of young MMA prospects which showed their potential at their debuts - Larry McGillicutty finished Hi Vibez early in round two, while Yajson Mrar earned a decision win against Hunter Typhoon.

Kings Fighting Championship's mini-birthday comes with presents

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1485186696vEIMcxR.jpg

The tiny org in London with the big plan celebrates tomorrow one month after its first event took place at Wild Bob's bar and shocked the MMA world. And what is a better way to celebrate a birthday than sending out presents to the good kids, or in our case - the baddest fighters and managers around? Let's see who impressed most, which of course was a tough choice since everyone did good, but some fighters and managers were above the others:

Most impressive fighter so far: Frank Shuman

Award amount: 10 000 $

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/34/34w6.jpg

Shuman did amazing in his both fights at KFC 1 and KFC 4, scoring spectacular submissions, which earned him an appearance in the first ever title fight at Kings Fighting Championship where he will meet Angelo San Diego at KFC 7.

Most impressive managers so far: Jack Hendry and Tyson Mitchell

Award amount: 10 000 $ (5 000 $ split)

Both Hendry and Mitchell had an epic month at the org with Hendry's fighters scoring a 6-0(via 6 knockouts) while Team Mitchell achieved a record of 4-0(via 3 knockouts and 1 decision). Both managers have been awarded 5 000 $ each and we hope this split award is going to motivate them to prove who deserves it more in the next months.

Special honors: Ali Jamal

Award amount: 5 000 $

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14851605434320.png

Ali Jamal has been awarded 5 000 $ for his impressive performance in the 155 lbs. TWGC. He got crowned a champion after 5 spectacular grappling wins and we at Kings Fighting Championship are extremely grateful to have such a talented prospect on our roster! Can't wait to see what he has to offer in a real MMA fight! Good luck in training, Ali!
