We are comparing two totally separate realms here, racing, with flame retardant race jackets and cars that have a roll cage, fire extinguishers made to automatically activate at certain temperatures and all the supervision in the world is totally different than a celebrity ride with a pro driver (BTW most people who love cars wouldve hopped in without question because of this fact alone) and not only was he going fast on the street but his power steering FAILED, you need 2 people 4 hands to turn a car at 20mph with no power steering, imagine the speed they were traveling...

The first Fast and Furious is an instant classic. One of the greatest movies ever.

Also I'm extremely jealous he was with Jessica Alba into the blue. So you can't say he wasn't a great man.

r.i.p Paul Walker

noone is he is not a good dude but what they did was pure ego recklessness. Tracks are build for racing commercial roads are build to take you from point a to point be not for racing of any type for you never know what may sirprize you a tree a pole a person crossing the street stop lights etc. Keep racing on the racing track and everything will be ok. Had they take their egos and all that horses to a track they might they wrecked but May has lived and go home to their families or maybe it was just the way they wanted to go out minus the pole and tree?

And Chris's big wreck was due to the motor failing leading to the spin... that's the difference when you play on the street versus on a track. I was showing what happens when you do things in a PROPER environment versus the street.. and what Fast and Furious has long glorified.

Also it's a misnomer that Rodas was a pro, in professional racing you have PAID drivers and PAYING drivers. The PAID guys are just that, they are paid to be there... whether it be free car and consumables or car, consumables and salary. The PAYING (as was Rodas) are gentlemen racers who have a lot of money and the ability to run the professional series in question, whether they are drivers worth a damned or not is another question altogether.

well if they going 45 and their power steering failed they would have lived so it doesn't matter at the speed they were going they would have died even woth a power steering they would have flipped it or worst crash into a building. At the end of the day. No racing in commercial street whether you a pro driver or regular driver.
