As much as the EVO227 poster is very cool graphic, it hardly is a poster anymore.

 

Altough the Syn poster is also a gif, it is far more subtle and very nice!

 

Thank you for the kind words still regarding the EVO 227 poster.

Your 'hardly is a poster' comment though, reminds me of the 2015 poster nomination thread, where there was a discussion going on already about the use of gif and the realism of that. As said in that same thread, most advertising is done online or on television these days, and that does mean moving images most of the time. Personally, and this is a big shock I am sure, am perfectly fine with it as long as it works with the theme of the event. At the end of the day, some people are going to like the use of a gif, while others are against it fully. It comes down to someones personal taste when it comes to graphics.
