Haha thanks man. A lot of the stuff that I do right now, I started doing while writing for Epicity Productions... everything I wrote before EP was a bag of flaming garbage. :P

Fucking ridiculous amount of work put into that. Great shit man. Haven't read through all of it but will do so tomorrow. I look forward to these more thhan the events now.

Apologies again about changing last minute. Best mate's bird left him after 5 years on Friday so essentially Monday was the first day I've been sober all weekend. Forgot to add PPV/production/ads in too so took a huge hit on an outstanding card :(

(Featherweight Division) Matthew Stevenson (1-0) versus Ted Getstoned (1-0)

The aptly named Matthew “Bearhug” Stevenson is a heavy handed boxer and clinch fighter. At Highland Games 177, Stevenson knocked out Max Power just one minute into the third and final round.

Ted Getstoned is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt from the Storman Norman school of fight domination. At Highland Games 177, he choked Xavier Hunter unconscious with a first round triangle choke. It was quite a breathless display of MMA dominance. Badum tiss.

(Featherweight Division) Henrik Larsson (1-0) versus Johnny Beefcake (1-0)

Henrik Larrson is a submission grappler from Sweden. Although he reportedly has a high level boxing game, he has never had the opportunity to shine in that department. In his lone MMA fight, at Highland Games 177, he submitted Michael Epicity just one second shy of two minutes into the opening round.

To tell you about Johnny Beefcake, I will first have to tell you about his manager: Bear Stevenson. I worked with this manager when he had a fighter by the same name compete within an organization that I was running. This fighter, despite not having the most impressive visible skill set in his weight class, was so much of a wrecking ball that I'm surprised he wasn't between Miley Cyrus's legs for every walkout. This fighter had the perfect combination of athleticism, skills, and heart to make him an unstoppable force to be reckoned with.

I am thrilled to have the honor of writing for a Bear Stevenson fighter. In my eyes, Johnny Beefcake has planet sized shoes to fill, and I will be watching his fight from the edge of my seat when the time comes.

As for the fighter himself, well, Beefcake is a Greco Roman stylist that has adapted to have a basic boxing attack as well. He is an aggressive clinch fighter that looks to smash opponents with ferocity. Johnny made his MMA debut at Highland Games 177, where he knocked out Lloyd Christmas with a third round punch from hell.

(Heavyweight Division) Jean Jacques Machadao (8-6) versus Tito Kerr (9-7)

Jean Jacques Machadao is a high level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt and contestant from Season 4 of The Island.

After facing two defeats in Highland Challenge, Machado fought exclusively in the QFC shows, where he amassed an impressive five fight winning streak, bringing him into contention within the finale tournament... where he was defeated in the first tier by a very game Rafael Abreu.

In his post-Island career, Machado has fought exclusively for Highland Games, going 2-2, with a big win over Jack Reach that earned him Submission of the Night honors.

Tito Kerr has claimed the title of Highland Challenge heavyweight and super-heavyweight champion. As a contestant on Season 3 of The Island, Tito went through three management teams before becoming affiliated with his current team. A bit limited in his overall skill set, Tito Kerr is known purely as a ground and pound stylist with a very limited standup game.

During The Island, Tito would go on a three fight winning streak before losing in a key fight; this was the story of his tenure with Highland Challengers. The biggest win of his career came at Highland Challenge 28, where he knocked out Dave Ysengrin to become the heavyweight champion. He has faced other big names, including: Phil Hellmuth Jr and Kalle Kettu along the road of his storied career.

After being defeated in the third tier of the finale tournament, Tito fought twice more for Highland Challenge. At Highland Challenge 46, Tito stopped Kazuo Mizaki to become the super-heavyweight champion, and at H.C 48, he lost the title.

Tito has since signed with Highland games, where he has been defeated via early stoppage on three occasions.

(Heavyweight Division) Ronald Rosing (10-6) versus Peper Panel (11-5)

Ronald Rosing is known primarily for his potent wrestling game, as well as his brutal ground and pound attack. He fought the majority of his bouts with Tradition FC, where he previously held an impressive six fight winning streak, which was broken by Jan Jedrzejczyk, before winning twice more.

After losing a bout against Bubba Gumption, Ronald Rosing signed with Highland Games, where he went on a demoralizing three fight losing streak, bringing him to four losses in a row. In his most recent appearance, Ronald knocked out Bratt Nardello, but you have to imagine that his back is against the wall in this fight: he NEEDS a big win here to restore confidence in his ability to even be a journeyman.

Peper Panel is a Muay Thai stylist that is known for his devastating kicking attacks, as well as his ever improving boxing technique, although he is a bit of a brawler.

Peper Panel competed on Season 3 of The Island, fighting for the Extreme Mixed Martial Arts promotion, where he held a five fight winning streak. In his last fight on The Island, Peper was defeated by Elijah Parker when he challenged the man for the heavyweight championship. To close out his time on The Island, Peper competed in the tournament finale, knocking out Mike Iglesias and Hank Aaron before getting knocked out cold by a spinning back fist from Dave Ysengrin.

On the Mainland, Peper Panel has fought for Highland Games, winning in three of his four appearances.

(Heavyweight Division) Eugene Sandov (14-10) versus Davy Nube (9-4)

Eugene Sandov started out as a powerful wrestler, but has gradually improved his skill set until he has become known as a respectable striker on the feet as well. While his boxing has improved leaps and bounds, don't expect him to be using it in this fight. The world knows that his biggest chance to defeat Nube will come on the ground.

Eugene was a regular face in the regional circuit, where he was undefeated across multiple appearances. After fighting in a pair of medium level fight organizations, he signed with Heavyweight Prizefighting of Las Vegas. After winning only about half of his fights with the promotion, Eugene signed with Highland Games instead.

Eugene Sandov has only won four of his nine fights within Highland Games, but has taken on very dangerous opponents in Dave Ysengrin, Dick Wad, and Barol Kedorf to name a few.

Davy Nube is a heavy handed and extremely technical mixed martial artist that is known primarily for his world class boxing ability. Davy has been widely considered to be one of the few MMA fighters that would do well in professional boxing, due to his technical prowess in the cage.

After fighting his earliest bouts in the regional scene, Davy fought for Ring of Violence, accumulating three early knockouts to earn himself a crack at the crown. The one weakness of Davy Nube flared to the surface in this bout: Davy Nube has a tendency to be overly aggressive when he starts landing punches. This brawling style has made him an electric favorite among the fans, but has also left his chin open to the more heavy handed opponents that he has faced.

At ROV 48, Nube engaged the reigning champion, Killer Bee, in a wild and bloody affair that ended with Nube unconscious on the floor. Despite this, it was considered one of the most exciting fights in the history of the Ring of Violence promotion. After this final appearance in the Ring OV, Davy signed with Highland Games.

Davy Nube is currently 5-3 with Highland Games; despite not having the most inspirational career with the promotion, his fights have the aura of a true spectacle, as you don't know what is going to happen when he enters the cage... but you know that violence, in all of its glory, will be prevalent.

(Bantamweight Division) Vinnie Longworth (19-7) versus Dan Sten (18-11)

Vinnie Longworth is a former collegiate wrestling superstar that has adapted to a more submission based style of grappling; he holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Half of his twelve finishes have come by way of early submission.

Vinnie started his career with Elite Canadian FC, where he utilized his wrestling base to dominate the featherweight division. His dominance hit a peak when he defeated Spencer Lamoureux to become the undisputed featherweight champion. After defending his title one time, Vinnie parted ways with his long time promotion in favor of Highland Games.

In addition to a change of promoting companies, Vinnie Longworth dropped down to 135 lbs, declaring that he would be making a run for the bantamweight championship of the world. After dropping a unanimous decision to Jack Stick, Vinnie went on a four fight winning streak that included a big win over Neil Drake.

With an impressive winning streak behind him, Vinnie was given the insurmountable task of challenging Darth Vader for the champion's gold. This fight came at a time when Vader was finishing every opponent that he faced, with three consecutive early stoppages in a row; he was believed to be unstoppable by the fan base that supported him. Vinnie Longworth proved that he was an equal to the legends of the sport when he went the distance with Vader. Although he would lose the judge's decision, Vinnie Longworth walked away with a moral victory.

Vinnie went on a three fight winning streak before once again challenging Darth Vader for the title; this time, he was stopped in the third round by the indomitable champion.

In his most recent showing, Vinnie Longworth added another big victory to his resume, when he defeated the legendary Serge Ibaka via unanimous decision.

Career Achievements:

-Former Elite Canadian FC Featherweight Champion (One Defense)

-Former Highland Games Bantamweight Title Challenger (x2)

-Fight of the Night (x3)

-Submission of the Night (x3)

-Knockout of the Night (x1)

Dan Sten is a legend in the Muay Thai community, known for his brutal leg knees from the clinch. In mixed martial arts, Dan has fought exclusively for Highland Games; he made his debut during Season 3 of The Island. In his early career, Dan won six of his first seven fights before competing in the finale tournament; after dominating his opening two tournament opponents, Dan was knocked out in the third tier of the tourney when he faced BJ Arnold.

On the mainland, Dan has struggled to piece together consecutive wins, although he has won some big fights. He has losses to some of the biggest names within the Highland Games promotion, including Darth Vader and Serge Ibaka in championship fights, as well as BJ Arnold, Neil Drake, and Jet Hemi as well.

Career Achievements:

-Former Highland Games Bantamweight Title Challenger (x2)

-The Island S3 Quarter-Finalist

-Fight of the Night (x4)

http://i.imgur.com/PZC2oGw.jpg

(Light-heavyweight Division) Angel Face (17-7) versus The Mighty Quinn (10-3)

Angel Face is an accomplished Greco Roman wrestler and former Olympic hopeful who, after failing to bring his higher ambitions into fruition, made the transition into professional mixed martial arts. While he taught wrestling to teens as a part time job, he also trained in mixed martial arts.

Angel signed an exclusive contract with Tradition FC, where he won the middleweight championship in his third professional fight, stopping Michael Gabriel in the opening round. Angel successfully defended his championship two times, knocking out Borhan Khan and Danny Maer before moving on to fight for Executioner FC.

Within EFC, Angel struggled to flourish at the level that he had previously; although he won his first two bouts, he was out pointed by Axe Jagger, and knocked out in his title challenge against reigning middleweight champion Arnavut Sevket. His fight with Sevket would be his final appearance with Executioner, as he would instead sign with Highland Games for a period of time.

In Highland Games, Angel Face accumulated some impressive victories over opponents such as Razor MuayThai, Marcus Child, and Billy Tinkl. However, Angel would once again face absolute destruction when he attempted to challenge Highland Games legend Massimo Benvenuti for the world title.

On a two fight losing streak, Angel Face signed once again with Tradition FC; proving that he cannot be defeated within the promotion, he went on a four fight winning streak. Pushing his luck, Angel fought a one-off fight for the GAMMA Kids of New York promotion, where he was submitted by 4-0 Jiu-Jitsu black belt Sandayu Momochi.

After parting ways with his management, Angel signed with Highland Games once again; after falling late against Louis Gordon, Angel recently defeated former Highland Games light-heavyweight champion Rodrigo Rojas.

Career Achievements:

-Former Tradition Middleweight Champion (Two Defenses)

-Former Executioner FC Middleweight Title Challenger

-Former Highland Games Middleweight Title Challenger

-Fight of the Night (x4)

-Knockout of the Night (x3)

The Mighty Quinn is one of the very few competitors within Highland Games to not have participated in any season of The Island; his first five fights were in regional QFC shows on the mainland, where he finished all five opponents in short order.

As one of the hottest unsigned prospects on the market, Quinn was quickly snatched up by Tradition FC, where he was defeated in his first three appearances, prompting the promotion to put him in for one final match before releasing him back into regional rotation. Despite winning his final bout with the company in impressive fashion, he was thrown back to the wolves.

Quinn signed with Highland Games shortly after, and has continued his impressive winning streak to five consecutive victories. Most recently, The Mighty Quinn knocked Black Coleman out in under a minute, giving him the biggest win of his professional career. As a man with a phallic tattoo on his chest once famously asked, “Can you see me now?”

Career Achievements:

-Knockout of the Night (x1)

-Five Fight Winning Streak

http://i.imgur.com/ArVdmaM.jpg

(Heavyweight Division) Doyle Brunson (20-4) versus Barol Kedorf (15-10)

Doyle Brunson is a Texas born mixed martial arts competitor. As a youth, he competed in both boxing and wrestling; this combination of styles would lay the ground work for the type of fighter that Doyle would inevitably become.

As a contestant on Season 3 of The Island, Doyle fought the entirety of his early career in the Kingsfords MMA promotion; in his fourth professional fight, he finished three time defending heavyweight champion Abu Rat to claim the title. Unfortunately, Doyle would lose the belt in his first title defense, when he was knocked out by Ragnar Axiom, but Doyle would reclaim the belt when he later stopped Axiom in the rematch.

On a two fight winning streak, his heavyweight gold in hand, Doyle Brunson made the switch to Highland Challenge, stopping Sampo Metso in his debut. In his second H.C bout, Doyle was defeated by legendary heavyweight champion Dave Ysengrin in a bid to steal the title.

Doyle finished his time on The Island with back-to-back victories before being invited into the season finale tournament; he would find his vengeance in the finals, when he knocked out Ysengrin to become the heavyweight tournament champion.

Upon returning to the main land, Doyle Brunson signed with Highland Games; on an eight fight winning streak, he knocked out William Munney in his H. Games debut. In Highland Games, Brunson has won four big fights, and has been stopped twice by the same man: Vitaly Karelin.

Career Achievements:

-Former Two-Time Kingsfords Heavyweight Champion (No Defenses)

-Former Highland Games Heavyweight Title Challenger

-The Island S4 Tournament Champion

-Knockout of the Night (x1)

Born and raised in Poland, Barol Kedorf is a former amateur boxer that made the transition into mixed martial arts. Barol has fought exclusively for Highland Games, having participated in Season 3 of The Island. In the finale tournament, Barol advanced into the second level before falling victim to the hilariously unfortunately named Dick Wad via doctor stoppage.

Barol remained a stout member of the Highland Games roster upon moving to the Mainland. Despite losing in his mainland debut, Barol went on an impressive five fight winning streak, including a big win over Vitaly Karelin. This career resurgence came to a head when Barol Kedorf challenged reigning heavyweight champion Mase Force for the title. Force would prove his dominance when he caught Kedorf with a finishing punch to retain his title, but The Challenger would continue with his career.

Barol Kedorf has never quite returned to the pinnacle of the heavyweight division; he will win a couple of big fights, and then lose against a top contender, only to win another pair of matches. In his most recent bout, Barol Kedorf was defeated by Dick Schneeger via the only way that he really knows how to lose: TKO due to bleeding scar tissue.

Career Achievements:

-Former Highland Games Heavyweight Title Challenger

-Fight of the Night (x3)

(Light-heavyweight Division) Nuke Laloosh (21-6) versus Unz Unz (12-7)

Nuke Laloosh is a powerful wrestling stylist with a long history of dominance throughout his MMA career. Nuke is the former two time Solitude light-heavyweight champion, and recently, challenged LightHeavy Weight for the Highland Games light-heavyweight championship.

Nuke Laloosh started his career in the QFC, stopping all three opponents with his brutal ground and pound attack. Due to his rapid rise through the rankings in the free agency market, Nuke quickly attracted the attention of Solitude, who signed him to an exclusive fight contract.

Nuke defeated his opening two opponents to earn the right to fight for the vacant light-heavyweight championship. His opponent would be Janghong Pasty, who Nuke would quickly overwhelm and defeat; Pasty would retire shortly after. Nuke Laloosh would fall in his first bid to defend the title, suffering a forty seconds TKO loss; he would lose three of his next fought bouts.

Nuke Laloosh quickly established himself as a top contender once again, running through five contenders en route to another title shot; this time, he defeated Emil Cioran via unanimous decision to once again become the light-heavyweight champion. In his first title defense, Laloosh would once again fall, losing his belt.

Despite his setbacks on The Island, Nuke Laloosh dominated the finale tournament, taking the champion's gold with him to the mainland. In his post-season career, Nuke Laloosh signed with Highland Games, decimating the best contenders that the light-heavyweight division could muster.

At Highland Games 172, Laloosh challenged legendary champion LightHeavy Weight for the crown; late in the opening round, Laloosh received a cut over his left eye that was bleeding into his face, obscuring his vision. The ringside doctor examined the wound and declared him unfit to continue; for the first time in his career, Nuke Laloosh failed in his attempt to claim a champion's gold.

Career Achievements:

-Former Two-Time Solitude Light-heavyweight Champion (No Defenses)

-The Island S4 Final Tournament Champion

-Former Highland Games Light-heavyweight Title Challenger

-Fight of the Night (x3)

-Knockout of the Night (x2)

Unz Unz is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialist, holding a brown belt in the art. Early in his career, he challenged for the light-heavyweight championship of Solitude.

Unz Unz completed all but one of his twelve fights on The Island within the Solitude promotion, and would quickly earn the reputation of a legendary submission artist. In his eighth professional fight, Unz was stopped by Emil Cioran in an unsuccessful bid for the title. Although he would never again challenge for the Solitude championship, Unz finished out his time with the promotion on a two fight winning streak. Unz competed in the finale tournament, but was submitted in the second round of the contest, and was sent to the mainland.

In his post-Island career, Unz Unz has fought exclusively for Highland Games, winning in two of his five outings. Most recently, Unz was knocked out by Rudolf Rammhammer at Highland Games 172.

Career Achievements:

-Former Solitude Light-heavyweight Title Challenger

-Submission of the Night (x2)

http://mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20140926172750titlebelt.png (Bantamweight Division, Championship bout) Neil Drake (21-8) versus Darth Vader© (29-5)

Neil Drake is the former Attack Fight League bantamweight champion of the world, and one of two men to have stopped Darth Vader in professional mixed martial arts. Neil utilizes his background in pugilistic fisticuffs primarily to open up his grappling, although he is capable of landing one doozy of a left hook as well. Neil's primary fighting style revolves around his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu; an art in which he holds a black belt.

Much like his opponent here, Neil was a competitor on the third season of The Island, having fought all but one of his earliest fights in the AFL bantamweight division. In his early career, he received some major losses to eventual legends in Serge Ibaka, Renato Laranja, and Darth Vader. If you had to define the career of Neil Drake with a random slogan taken from a vacuum commercial, it would be: “Meets the best, beats the rest”. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what company coined that, but it perfectly suits Neil.

At AFL Every Day Is a Struggle, Neil caught Darth Vader in a deep rear naked choke, forcing the tap and claiming the bantamweight championship. Although he would lose the belt in his first defense against Serge Ibaka, Neil would routinely prove that he was among the top five fighters in his weight class, struggling only against certain key players.

In the finale tournament, Nail advanced into the third round before losing a unanimous decision against Darth Vader, who would advance only one more round himself. On the mainland, Neil stayed with Highland Games, challenging reigning champion Ibaka for the bantamweight title that he had lost some time before; Ibaka would once again force the stoppage to retain the belt, and Neil would win two of his five fights in this span.

After changing management twice, Neil Drake found a team that could guide his career in the right direction; under the tutelage of his new mentor, Neil won his next three consecutive bouts, setting up another shot at bantamweight gold. This time, it would come against BJ Arnold, who would retain the title with a big second round finish over Drake.

Despite this setback, Neil Drake is currently riding a three fight winning streak, with the most recent coming at Highland Games 174, against former two time Tradition FC bantamweight champion, Jandre Vorster.

Darth Vader, despite the pseudonym, is a serious competitor and truly elite champion in the world of mixed martial arts. Starting his career as a collegiate wrestler, Vader had an early advantage over opponents, due to his ability to bring the fight wherever he felt that he had the advantage. In addition to a top level wrestling pedigree, Vader is an accomplished BJJ competitor as well; he holds a brown belt in the art. Despite never having forced submission in the cage, Vader is considered one of the top grappling based fighters on the planet. Most recently, Darth Vader has made a name for himself as an accomplished kick boxer as well.

Darth Vader, like his long time rival Neil Drake, made his MMA in the smaller shows on The Island during its third season. Quickly establishing his dominance via ground and pound, Vader accumulated a four fight winning streak that caught the attention of the Attack Fight League; his decision to sign with the promotion would shape the complexion of his career indefinitely.

In his AFL debut, Darth faced Jet Hemi for the bantamweight championship; with thirty seconds left in the opening round, Darth rained down ground and pound that stunned Hemi, and put him away for good. Despite the early dominance of former bantamweight champion Jet Hemi, his career would never truly recover after the nightmarish beating that he received as Darth Vader stole his crown.

Darth Vader faced a similar outcome, as he attempted to defend his title against the only man to stop him with strikes: the legendary Serge Ibaka, who would go on to defend the belt one time before leaving for Highland Games. The contenders scrambled to decide who would fight for the vacant title, and two names would rise to the surface in this time: Renato Laranja and ZyD XyD. Laranja would claim the title and attempt to defend it against Vader, who had quietly garnered the support of the fan base, as well as a two fight winning streak (including against fellow top contender Neil Drake).

The fight between Vader and Laranja took place at AFL …... Tie Her Down. I honestly didn't read that name before starting to type it, and, well, whoa. Well then. Anyways, after five rounds of action, Vader would prove to be the one true dominant force when he bested Laranja with a unanimous decision. After defeating fellow wrestling sensation and multi-time world champion BJ Arnold, Vader would lose his new championship in what seemed to be a routine title defense against Neil Drake.

Vader had already defeated Neil Drake not long prior, with a unanimous decision victory over the man, and felt that the outcome would be the same in this rematch. It seemed that somebody forgot to inform Drake of this, as he strangled the Reigning Champion unconscious with a rear naked choke to claim the title. Shortly after, Vader failed to claim the Executioner FC bantamweight title in a one-off fight, but would end his Island career with a unanimous decision over Tom Franks.

Darth Vader made an appearance in the finale tournament, besting Miguel Ortega, Jacob Naankuse, and Neil Drake before being defeated by Serge Ibaka in the semi-finals.

Having seemingly earned the final laugh in the trilogy with Neil Drake, Vader quickly signed with Highland Games, and began petitioning for a third crack at the only man to truly best him in Serge Ibaka; however, the two would not meet for some time, with over a dozen fights taking place before their third clash.

One thing was certain: Darth Vader proved that he was a giant among men as he climbed his way through the Highland Games contender rankings, smashing his way through Laranja, Pinaglabanan, and Kiapoity en route to a shot at the Highland Games bantamweight championship of the world. That should would come at Highland Games 82; as fate would have it, Vader would rematch one of the men that he had defeated on The Island, in BJ Arnold. While Vader wouldn't find the lightning quick finish that he had secured in their first meeting, he still cleanly defeated the man with a unanimous decision victory.

Finally, at long last, Darth Vader would prove his status as a legend of the sport, as he defended the Highland Games bantamweight title seven times, winning multiple “of the night” awards along the way, and securing big wins over Dan Small, Vinnie Longworth, Dan Sten, and Renato Laranja. In his eighth defense attempt, Vader succumbed to BJ Arnold in the long awaited championship rematch; Arnold defeated Vader via unanimous decision.

While BJ Arnold was occupied defending the world title two times, Darth Vader knocked out Dave Kopp, and out pointed Sam Crow and Serge Ibaka to earn a rematch with Arnold. With each fighter claiming two of the early rounds, the deciding factor would once again fall upon whoever pushed the hardest in the fifth and final round of the fight. Arnold seemed to hold the upper hand in the early goings of the round, and was arguably well on his way towards a decision victory to retain the title, but Vader scored a big takedown midway through the round. An exhausted BJ Arnold covered up as Darth Vader postured, throwing out every attack that he was capable of to batter the reigning champion. Finally, after several minutes of unrelenting abuse, the referee had seen enough: he stopped the fight, declaring Darth Vader to once again be the bantamweight champion of the world.

Darth Vader has since defended the title when he finished Vinnie Longworth early in the third round.

HIGHLAND GAMES 183 PREVIEW

By Will Brawler

This Thursday June 16th 2016, Highland Games in conjunction with The Highland Network & The Highland Way present Highland Games 183 comes to you live from The H20 Arena with a night full of action.

BJ Arnold Vs Jandre Vorster - Bantamweight Division

The Main Event of the evening puts 2x Former Highland Games Bantamweight Champion & The Island Season 3 Bantamweight winner “The Prodigy 2.0” BJ Arnold who holds a professional record of 24 Wins, 13 by way of Knockout with 5 Losses against TWGC 5 Featherweight Finalist Jandre “The Giant” Vorster who holds a professional record of 20 wins, 17 wins by way of submission with 5 losses in a Bantamweight clash. BJ Arnold is a veteran and former 2x Bantamweight champion of Highland Games coming in with 14 previous Highland Game appearances with only 1 loss in the last 10 fights. If BJ wants to walk out victorious with yet another win you can bet that he is going to try and go for his 14th Knockout of his career. BJ comes into this match up with significantly better standup than his opponent and has won the last 4 of his last 5 fights by Technical Knockouts. BJ has been on a roll lately ending his last 2 fights by TKO in the 2nd round after losing his belt to his nemesis Darth Vader. You can expect BJ to try and keep this fight standing and look for an early knockout as he tries to earn another shot at the Bantamweight Championship. Jandre Vorster is a veteran himself becoming a member of the Tradition Fight Club Hall of Fame and holding the TFC Bantamweight Championship himself as well as the Runner up in the TWGC 5 Featherweight tournament. You can bet although he has a respectable and proficient standup, Vorster is going to due everything within his power to get BJ to the ground and counter his standup. Vorster, a Black Belt in BJJ is hands down the dominant man if this fight hits the ground. In summary, The winner of this match will definitely put themselves in contention for the Bantamweight Championship.

Prediction: Jandre Vorster via submission. Fight of the Night

Kalle Kettu Vs Big Tow - Heavyweight

The Semi-Main Event of the evening will puts a knockout artist Kalle Kettu who holds a professional record of 15 wins all by way of Knockout with 7 losses against a ground master Big Tow who holds a professional record of 13 wins, 7 by way of knockout and 4 by way of submission with 6 losses in a heavyweight battle. Kalle Kettu is a former Island Season 4 Heavyweight Semi-Finalist and a relatively new heavyweight at Highland Games making his 3rd appearance. Kettu is 1-1 here in Highland and is trying to pick up his 3rd win. If Kettu is expected to win this fight he must remain standing and continue his streak of all wins coming by way of knockout. Kettu is one of the better heavyweights when it comes to Boxing but does he have the skill to stop Tow’s ground game? Big Tow will be making his fifth appearance for Highland Games and has made himself accustomed to the Highland fans. However Big Tow does hold a 2-2 record here in Highland. In this match up Big Tow has to take his opponent to the ground which is not going to be a very easy task as Kettu has some remarkable wrestling skills and is a knockout artist so Kettu has to watch those fists. If Big Tow can get Kettu on the ground it will be all over as long as Kettu goes for one of his strong submissions. Prediction: Kelle Kettu via Flash Knockout.

The Bishop of Bath and Wells Vs Oliver Dickens - Welterweight

In this Welterweight matchup pits Eleven wins against Eleven wins as we get to see another knockout artist, The Bishop of Bath and Wells who holds a professional record of 11 wins with all coming by way of knockout and 5 losses against 3x Highland Challenger Welterweight Champion Oliver “Smasher” Dickens who holds a professional record of 11 wins, 7 by way of knockout with 7 losses. This will be the 7th appearance for The Bishop and a chance to redeem the loss he suffered at 178. Dickens better hope The Bishop doesn’t repeat history as the last 8 fights for The Bishop has been 3 wins via knockout 1 loss followed by 3 wins and 1 loss, being his last fight. In another completely opposite matchup The Bishop is a wonderful boxer and is pretty proficient in wrestling. You can guarantee the The Bishop will try and use his 12cm height advantage to keep his opponent at a distance and pick away at the head of Oliver. Oliver Dickens on the other hand is also making his 7th appearance for Highland Games and is a former 3x Highland Challenger Welterweight Champion. Much like The Bishop, Dickens is also trying to redeem himself after suffering a submission loss also at 178. But for Dickens the stakes are more, He is only 3-3 here in Highland and needs a win if he wants to try and stay relevant in an ever growing field. Dickens being a former champion should be able to handle the pressure but if he plans on being successful he will have to be quick and get in close to The Bishop while at the same time avoiding the power of Bath and Wells. Dickens will only stand a chance if he can utilize his outstanding BJJ to get The Bishop to Tap.

Prediction: The Bishop of Bath and Wells via Knockout.

Buvaisar Hamidovich Saitiev Vs Razval Saraev - Welterweight

In this next Welterweight matchup it is the battle of the Ground N Pound. As we see Buvaisar Hamidovich Saitiev who holds a professional record of 12 wins all by way of Knockout with 7 losses go one on one against Former 2x Solitude Welterweight Champion Razval Saraev who holds a professional record of 15 wins with 11 by way of knockout and 5 losses. This is Saitiev’s 6th fight in the Highland Games cage coming off a loss but claiming the Fight of the Night for 179. Saitiev is the underdog in this fight with subpar skills compared to his opponent only matching Saraev in wrestling skill. If Saitiev has any chance of winning he will need to use his 12cm height advantage and keep Saraev at bay and hope for a judge's decision. Saraev who is making his 5th Highland Games fight and holding a 2-2 Highland record. Saraev has had some nice success prior to joining Highland Games by holding the Solitude Welterweight Championship on 2 different occasions, Being Runner up in the Island End of Season Tournament and being a Top 5 ranked fighter at the end of the Island Season 4 in the Welterweight division. Saraev who is hoping to turn a positive corner in his Highland Games career has the advantage on paper with superior Standup and BJJ skills. This fight is almost guaranteed to hit the ground early and stay on the ground majority of the fight. Saitiev may get lucky and lock in a submission early but the advantage goes to Saraev who will plan to Ground N pound his way to victory.

Prediction: Razval Saraev via TKO (Strikes).

Serge Ibaka Vs Dan Small - Bantamweight

In the Bantamweight division we see a Highland Games Veteran and Former Highland Games Bantamweight Champion Serge “Two Guns” Ibaka who holds a professional record of 23 wins, 20 wins by way of knockout with 7 losses goes up against another Highland Games Veteran Dan “3rd Form” Small who holds a professional fight record of 15 wins, 12 wins via submission with 11 losses. Serge Ibaka started his Highland Games Career back at Highland Games 25 winning the Bantamweight Championship in his very 1st Highland games Fight. He continued to defend the championship, even holding it while he became a runner up and Highest ranked fighter in The Island Season 3. Serge is on a 3 fight losing streak and is looking to start climbing the rankings once again. Serge has a 10cm height advantage as well as obviously better stand up. Dan Small is also a veteran of Highland games making his MMA career debut at Highland Games 10. Dan is no stranger to Serge as they met once before for the Welterweight championship back at HG 46 were Serge was victorious via TKO(Strikes). Dan is also trying to make his way back into title contention but is riding a 2 fight losing streak. Dan Small has the upper hand if the fight makes its way to the ground. For Dan to be successful he will need to get in close and find away to use his BJJ to his advantage.

Prediction: Serge Ibaka via KO

Kristian Michaels Vs Chris White - Welterweight

The next Welterweight division matchup puts Kristian Michaels with a professional record 14 wins with 9 losses against Chris White who has a professional record of 10 wins with 8 losses. This matchup will for sure be a hard hitting slugfest. White has remarkable boxing but Michaels has Wonderful Muay Thai. On the ground it’s anyones game but I have a feeling that we will not see much ground action. These two men will be slugging it out.

Prediction: Kristian Michaels via Knockout

Long Wang Vs Carlos Oliveira - Bantamweight

In a Bantamweight matchup we see to experienced Highland Games fighters with one a boxer the other a BJJ Brown Belt. Long Wang, who has a record of 12 wins with 4 losses started his career by winning QFC Tournament 517 before coming to Highland Games. Standing in the opposite corner is Former United Martial Arts Bantamweight Champion Carlos “Quesada” Oliveira who holds a professional record of 11 wins with 5 losses and making his debut under a new manager. Wang has the ground game and Oliveira has the Standup. In a perfectly opposite matchup both men have almost identical wrestling abilities so Oliveira will be trying to stuff the takedowns and keep Wang standing but Wang does have a very slight advantage in wrestling and hands down superior in BJJ.

Prediction: Long Wang via Submission

Riley Molovgomedov Vs Pluto Myles - Specialist Division

In a specialist matchup we see Riley “Hipster” Molovgomedov who has a professional record of 2 wins with 4 losses go against Pluto Myles who holds a professional record 7 wins with 5 losses. Both men are fighting for their 2nd win in Highland Games. Both of these fighters have been training for sometime but have both failed to gain any ground in recent fights but if Riley wants to walk out victorious he will have to hope to get a decision and prevent any ground n pound of submissions from Myles who is a black belt in BJJ.

Prediction: Pluto Myles via Submission

Alan Fadzaev Vs Brian Jones - Specialist Division

In the opening fight of the night we see a specialist matchup of project fighters as the 4-3 Alan Fadzaev who is making his Highland Games debut goes head to head with the 8-4 Former HUSTLE.mma Bantamweight Champion Brian “B.J” Jones who is looking to pick up his very 1st win here in Highland Games. In a fairly even matchup we see a standup fighter with Exceptional wrestling going against a BJJ fighter who has Wonderful Muay Thai. By the end of this fight one man will have earned their very 1st win inside the Highland Games cage.

Prediction: Alan Fadzaev via Decision
