"Schoolboy Q" Quincy Hanley

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14880430135376.jpg

"Tyler Bate is the biggest pussy ever! What an excuse of a fighter! Running his mouth on buzz saying how he will beat me then ducking the fight after seeing what I did to Kim Possible. Is that a behavior of a future 3 division champion or a present pussy? I think the answer is obvious."

This rivalry is so delicious it would go great with a Corona or something light to complement the flavor.

Tyler "One Bop" Bate

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14919594338579.jpg

"I apologize if I smirk while replying, but the guy's only win is against someone who is 4'11"? Am I missing something here? In what world does he deserve a fight with me? Beat a few guys who aren't legally midgets and then maybe we can talk, if I don't already have a belt around my waist by then that is."

Sydney FC 2: Dugan vs. Lard Recap (1st part)

170 lbs - Dmitri Dravinski vs. Jack Rustern

In the first fight of the night, the wonderful boxer Rustern made a puzzling decision and took it to the ground within the first seconds of action, which would prove to be his undoing. Dravinski quickly reversed position and started working on submission attempts. He ended up on the bottom again after trying an ankle lock, but his active guard kept Rustern in trouble. Dravinski tried a triangle and finally an armbar, forcing a tap out with four seconds to go in the first round. No strikes were attempted in this contest from neither side.

155 lbs - Tyler Bate vs. Young Buck

Adding some distinct flavor to the night, after what turned out to be a TWGC match, SFC brought us an unofficial kickboxing bout, with both young men agreeing to keep it on the feet. Only 16 years old, Young Buck showed a solid chin and great warrior spirit, but the older, more experienced Tyler Bate - only 18 years old himself - was too much to handle, landing combos and soundly outstriking his underage opponent en route to an unanimous 30-27 scorecard. The teenagers won a well deserved Fight of the Night award for their efforts.

135 lbs - Kim Posible vs. Quincy Hanley

In a battle of two high level wrestlers, neither one was able to show their grappling skills, as Hanley wobbled Posible with a wild attack of punches right away, hitting body and head and finishing with a straight punch to the jaw with 42 seconds of fighting. It was Hanley's first career win after starting 0-2, and not surprisingly, Knockout of the Night. He was quick to call out the much heavier Tyler Bate in the aftermath of the fight.

135 lbs - Palaktingpuet Payakarakatong vs. Shair Khan

Two blue chip striking prospects facing off in a compelling matchup. Each man tried to get every advantage they could, exchanging clinch entries and exits, landing careful, non commital strikes and even attempting the odd surprise takedown attempt. Palaktingpuet came out on top with a nice display of well rounded skills, landing a takedown and working on subs after a scramble. With only 2:32 minutes, Khan was forced to tap out to a tight armbar, the Submission of the Night. Rumors are running that Palaktingpuet, at 3-0 to start his career, will get the shot for the first ever SFC BW title.

265 lbs - David Campbell vs. Tim Arlovski

A useless stand up fighter, Campbell took some punishment in the first moments of the fight, but he didn't take long to land a takedown, which spelled the end for Arlovski. Campbell quickly slipped to full mount and was perfect with his ground and pound, scoring a TKO with 3:55 minutes in the first round. If only "The Magician" works on his striking, he will be a force in SFC's HW division.

Sydney FC 2: Dugan vs. Lard Recap (2nd part)

205 lbs - Bon Bones vs. Hulas Kanodia

Absolutely even matchup, but SFC 2's violent rampage wouldn't let it go to the scorecards. Both guys dealt punishment to each other with Kanodia having a slight edge in striking - which led Bones to a takedown attempt. He couldn't do much on the ground though, and the referee stood them up quickly. Bones still landed some hard kicks and even cut Kanodia with a partially landed high kick, but he seemed desperate after a few takedowns attempts kept failing. Kanodia smelled blood and connected with a series of powerful right hands, prompting the referee to step in.

205 lbs - Chuck Lesnar vs. Matt St. Pierre

A sizeable favorite, Lesnar dominated the first round, getting the better in all areas of the fight while St. Pierre only survived the round, getting beat up badly with dirty boxing in the final minute. It was only a matter of time. In the first seconds of the following round Lesnar dropped Matt "Push" St. Pierre with a vicious right hand and dived for the finish. He didn't waste time in the post fight interview, demanding a title shot from SFC owner Billy Deegan.

185 lbs - James Twinkle vs. Charles Vance

Another short, violent affair as Twinkle put his skill and experience advantage to use and tuned up his opponent with punches. Vance showcased a real solid chin, eating two huge uppercuts and a barrage of punches before going lights out with only one minute and half into the fight. It was an impressive outing from Twinkle and he could be trouble for anyone at SFC's MW division.

Co-Main Event - 145 lbs - Taulua Fautanua vs. Jouzee Alddo

The Co-Main Event was a real close fight, going the distance unlike the norm at SFC 2. Both of them high level grapplers, these fighters showed a little bit of everything. It was even going into the third round, when Alddo seemed to fade. Fautanua took him down and slipped into mount, spending the majority of the final frame on top scoring with sub attempts and measured ground and pound and securing the 29-28 win on all scorecards. Both guys figure to be around the top of SFC FW division.

Main Event - 205 lbs - Darcy Dugan vs. Larry Lard

It would have to be a KO to end such a violent night of fights, and it was up to the hard puncher Darcy Dugan to do the honors. He cut Lard's face open right at the opening moments after landing a good combination, and never stopped, landing brutal punches in the clinch and eventually overwhelming the overmatched Lard, who was helpless after two minutes and a half, eating non stop punches and only held up by the cage. Dugan even scramed abuse at the ref for such a late stoppage. Now 3-0 and armed with a nice blend of muay thai and wrestling, Dugan seems to be the man at 205 pounds.

Sydney FC Prospect Watch: Edgy Brah <http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=314184>

Record: 2-0-0

Known in BJJ circles as "The Indian", Edgy Brah hails from Santa Ana, California, USA and is off to a flawless start to his MMA career, scoring two submission wins in two QFC fights so far. He started wrestling in high school and always showed a special fair for grappling arts, maybe enjoying a boost in awareness and flow from the high quality Californian cannabis he so much loves. Brah quickly became perfectly competent in wrestling, but he really showcased all his potential when he took up BJJ and proved to be a phenom, becoming a purple belt at only 18 years old.

Brah is still working on his striking skills, which may prove to be the difference maker in his next fight, a title bout against fellow high level grappler Taulua Fautanua. Fautanua vs. Brah will crown the first ever Sydney Fighting Championship FW champion, in a tough test where Brah's opponent will have the edge on size, experience and even on BJJ skills.

Edgy "The Indian" Brah will be fighting in the Main Event of Sydney FC 4: Fautanua vs. Brah, on April, 29th

SFC 4: Fautanua vs Brah (FW TITLE)

When: April 29th, 2017. 6pm local.

Where: The Underground - Sydney

How To Watch: Check your local cable listings.

SFC comes back at you live from the underground in Sydney for our 4th event. Featuring our inaugural featherweight title fight between Taulua Fautanua, and Edgy Brah, and a card stacked with promising prospects making their SFC debut, and a few coming back for their second bout under the SFC banner. We will preview the main card with some keys for victory for each fighter.

Main Event:

Featherweight - Taulua Fautanua (3-0) x Edgy Brah (2-0) (145 title)

our main event of the evening features two grapplers fighting it out to be the first ever SFC fw champion. fautanua has the slight edge as hes a brown belt with an extra fight under his belt, however brah is no slouch on the ground as he rocks a purple belt at the tender age of 18. with 2 submission wins each in their young pro careers you can be sure this fight will see a lot of ground action, but dont be surprised if you see brah try to keep this standing where they are equals in skill on the feet.

keys to victory:

fautanua- best chance of winning would be taking the fight to the floor where he holds a slight advantage.

brah- might serve best to try to keep this one standing and grinding out a hard fought UD victory.

Co-Main Event:

Welterweight - Tyrus Shakur (1-0) x Bill Bones (0-0)

Co-main event brings an exciting match up between two up and coming prospects. with Shakur making his SFC debut ,and bones his first pro mma fight. both of them are strikers, but also have some decent grappling as they are also blue belts in bjj. Shakur a boxer, and Bones a Muay Thai practitioner you can be sure someone is going to get KOed.

Keys To Victory:

Shakur- Shakur needs to keep this fight on the outside and pick his opponent apart. Stay clear of the clinch game and keep his back off the cage. Footwork and angles to frustrate bones.

Bones- would benefit greatly from clinching up early and often and turning this into a thai/dirty boxing fight. use elbows and knees to work the body of shakur and cause some damage, wearing him out to a UD or maybe even a KO.

Fight #3:

Heavyweight - David Campbell (1-0) x Slim Sylvia (1-0)

Our 3rd fight of the evening is between a strong wrestler in David Campbell with some legit grappling skills as he holds a purple belt in bjj, vs a muay thai striker with some wrestling skills, but poor bjj. Campbell though a strong grappler with little striking skill, is coming fresh off a first round TKO victory over Tim Arlovski at SFC 2. Slim Sylvia himself also coming off a first round KO victory at QFC. Im willing to bet someone is going to sleep once this one is all said and done.

Keys To Victory:

Campbell- Needs to take this to the floor despite his debut tko victory. His superior wrestling and bjj means he will probably look to do so. Heavy ground and pound, and transitions would serve him well, before he looks to sink in a submission.

Sylvia- Needs to keep this fight standing, use his striking advantage to wear down campbell and eventually look for the KO. though his specialty is Muay Thai id be weary to throw too many kicks which could benefit Campbells wrestling/takedown attempts.

Fight #2

Bantamweight - Quincy Hanley (1-2) x Bailey Cooke (1-0)

Quincy Hanley didnt get the opponent he truly wants in Tyler Bate, but he was game enough to accept this challenge against new comer Bailey Cooke. Hanley a KO of the night winner in his SFC debut with his 42 second in the very first round destruction of Kim Possible, looks to do the same against Bailey Cooke. Cooke who holds a slight edge in over all striking and a slight edge in submission grappling has other plans in mind as hes making his first appearance under the SFC banner.

Keys To Victory:

Hanley- Hanley has a sizable advantage in wrestling, and slight advantage in thai boxing. kicks to the body of his opponent, could prove useful as the fight goes on as he shouldnt worry about the threat of a takedown. even though hes a white belt in bjj, he could also go the complete opposite and use takedowns and a heavy top game with some ground and pound and hopefully avoid the submission attempts of the blue belt Cooke.

Cooke- decent at both boxing and thai he holds a slight overall advantage standing. think it would serve him best to fight long, and stay on the outside and using footwork to box up Hanley. While he does hold the advantage when it comes to BJJ its going to be a tough challenge trying to take down a superior wrestler. Keep back off cage and use quick hands would be key in this fight for Cooke.

Fight #1

Middleweight - Joe Guerrero (1-0) x Warley Alvez (1-0)

Another super competitive super evenly matched fight, between two fighters making their organizational debut, which SFC is quickly being known for amongst the games youngest and brightest stars. Guerrero a talented boxer with some wrestling skill, but little bjj coming off a TKO qfc victory will battle Alvez, a Brazilian boxer who holds a blue belt in bjj. Alvez himself also a victor by way of TKO first round victory. Another fight that will probably not reach the end of the 3rd.

Keys To Victory:

Guerrero- A sprawl-n-brawl type fighter, with inferior bjj to his opponent you can bet Guerrero will look to keep this fight standing, while head hunting for a knockout.

Alvez- Brazilian might find it useful to dig into his countries roots and take this fight to the floor where he will have the upper hand in brazilian jiu jitsu. a decent boxer, he might be able to stand and wang with Guerrero, but probably not the smartest gameplan available.

Prelims:

205- Chuck Lesnar x Bon Bones

145- Rodrigo Hernandez x Jouzee Alddo

265- Mark Hunter x Borque Seriaoski

155- Harry Wilson x Ahmed Safwan

135- Kim Possible x Shair Khan

Billy Deegan, I respect you as a man and as a promoter, but you never should have matched your own fighter, Bon Bones up against my boy Chuck Lesnar. I hope that after Lesnar mops the floor with Bones, that we can repair the damage that has been done to our relationship. I'll understand if you don't want to give me the KO of the night bonus.

"What a shitshow with these SFC Middleweights...I'm calling out each and everyone of them...I'll fight anyone, anytime, for the title. If some 205er wants to come down or meet me at a catchweight or whatever, I'm down too. Just tired of training to fight some "fighters" who don't wanna fight"

"Kim possible - 4'11", Bailey Cooke - 5'1", Kairo Schmeldty - 5'5"... more like the director of some weird kind of midget porn. Glad to see you've worked your way up to a half-sized adult over your last three fights, but don't worry, I'll knock you back down to the child's division sooner than later."
