Hoarseplay Writing Productions

Recommended Posts

I used to be very active on here from 2014-2016 having worked with half a dozen organizations either as an advisor, recruiter, investor, promoter, or writer. My biggest job was writing for Trinity and my last was owning the Bravado Productions fight organization. Real life took its toll on me and dragged me away from the game for half a decade but I've returned and started fresh. My vocabulary may have declined somewhat but I'm just as eager to over-promote the fighters that I work with.

I am currently writing for UnderGround Fight Club and I go out of my way to try to write anything except "UFC" but it happens. In this thread i will be keeping an active collection of my previews mostly because I'm narcissistic.

Bantamweight Division Caeser Kombombuizc versus Oganeditse Gaolathe

Super-Heavyweight Division Shane Nakamura versus Nikola Vieira

Super-Heavyweight Division Rodimus Prime versus Ariel Ortega

Welterweight Division Hector Alvarez versus Yoel Edson

Welterweight Division Nick Lucas Li versus Ross Tyson

Lightweight Division Rodolfo Gracie versus Jason Kneesaw

Super-Heavyweight Division Max Van Leeuwenhoek versus Anurak Chakrabongse

Super-Heavyweight Division Joe Clark versus Antonio Dailey

Light-Heavyweight Division Tremaine Wiltshire versus Daana Wyte

Light-Heavyweight Division Bill From Killer Hill versus Aapo Jukola

[The Prelims]

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Bill From Killer Hill (0-4) versus Aapo Jukola (1-0)

Bill From Killer Hill is a mixed martial artist that, in four fights, has yet to find real success in the sport. This fight is truly a do or die situation for Bill.

Aapo Jukola is, in this writer's opinion, one of the strongest dark horse prospects of the UnderGround FC light-heavyweight division. If Bill Hill agreed to this match expecting a walk in the park with an easy opponent, he was sorely mistaken. Aapo is an accomplished wrestler that has trained in Jiu-Jitsua and boxing as well. Despite being a powerful grappler on paper, Aapo won his lone professional fight on the feet, knocking out his opponent in a smaller local how in the first round.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Tremaine Wiltshire (3-0) versus Daana Wyte (7-3)

Tremaine Wiltshire is a Muay Thai stylist with serious power in his strikes. He has taken three fights on the local circuit and has scored three brutal finishes. In his debut he dropped his opponent with the first strike that he threw. He is able to fight on his feet or on the ground, but his true power lies in his clinchwork.

Daana Wyte is a boxer with ten professional fights to his record, making him the most experienced fighter on the card. He fought the bulk of his career in smaller local fights where he built up a respectable reputation as a brutal finisher. His only loss due to stoppage came when an overzealous ringside doctor called off his match when he received a cut over his eye. Despite the setback, Wyte immediately signed a contract to fight for the Destructive Striking Championship, where he scored back to back finishes over Javelle Stone and Chris Gunn. With his contract over, Daana Wyte quickly signed a new deal to fight for UnderGround FC.

In his promotional debut, Wyte faced Jimbo Cricky, a seasoned striker in his own right. The fight would go the distance with both guys receiving equal cuts and bruises. Despite his best efforts, Wyte would lose the bout via unanimous decision. Despite the setback, Wyte is considered the favorite going into this match.

(Super-Heavyweight Division) Joe Clark (0-0) versus Antonio Dailey (0-0)

Joe Clark is a Muay Thai stylist making his professional debut here. He is undergoing excellent training so it will be exciting to see how this first timer does.

Antonio Dailey is, like his opponent, a newcomer to the sport of mixed martial arts. This Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt actually trains alongside Clark.

(Super-Heavyweight Division) Max Van Leeuwenhoek (0-0) versus Anurak Chakrabongse (0-0)

Both of these fighters are young kids from the same camp that are taking a no pressure live fight to test their mettle in the cage. Both guys are reportedly Muay Thai strikers that spar together daily.

(Lightweight Division) Rodolfo Gracie (4-1) versus Jason Kneesaw (1-0)

Rodolfo Gracie is an experienced BJJ brown belt with five professional fights to his record. He started his career in the local scene, scoring three quick submission finishes to begin his career. This caught the attention of The UnderGround Fight Club, who quickly signed him to a contract. In his promotional debut, Gracie faced Joe Mama, a powerful Jiu-Jitsu purple belt. The fight would be surprisingly competitive, with the two fighters trading takedowns and submission attempts for the entirety of the fight. In the end, Mama would walk away with the unanimous decision victory.

Gracie quickly rebounded with a victory over heavy handed catch wrestler Steven Pittsford. Despite the dangers of rushing in against a striker like Pittsford, Gracie was relentless with his takedowns, which brought him a submission victory early in the third round.

Jason Kneesaw is a talented Muay Thai stylist that is making his promotional debut at this event. He has fought once before, when he took on Chauncey Garret in a smaller show. In that fight, it was the clinchwork and knees of the aptly named Kneesaw that brought him to victory.

[Main Card]

(Welterweight Division) Nick Lucas Li (3-1) versus Ross Tyson (3-0)

Nick Lucas Li is a Muay Thai striker with four professional fights to his credit. This is his promotional debut as all four of his previous fights took place in smaller shows. In his pro debut, Lucas Li came out like a wild man, throwing anything that he could. He would strike, clinch, break away, only to repeat the process. In the second round, he caught his opponent diving for a leg and cracked him with a head kick to put him away. His next bout was more of the same except he had an opponent that couldn't be held down as easily. Lucas Li wouldn't win any style points but he would earn a decision victory for his efforts. In his third bout, Nick Lucas Li dominated Hosea Dotson with his wild style of attack. In his most recent bout, Lucas Li faced Everett Hart, a submission specialist. Lucas Li took it to Everett immediately with his aggressive style of attack, swarming his foe with takedowns and submission attempts. The fight would inevitably go the distance with Lucas Li taking home the decision.

Ross Tyson is an undefeated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt from Montreal, Canada. Known in Montreal for his reign of terror in the smaller shows, Tyson has submitted two of his three opponents. In his first bout, Tyson faced Sheldon Hammond, a veteran of three fights prior. Despite scoring a takedown early, Tyson soon found himself trapped on the bottom eating ground and pound for his trouble. In the second round a clearly winded Tyson scored a takedown into the guard of Hammond and once again found himself reversed to the bottom. The pair traded submission attempts until Tyson managed to scramble and take Hammond's back, finishing with a rear naked choke. With some confidence under his belt, Ross Tyson faced Ezequiel Chandler next. Tyson scored a takedown early but again found himself reversed onto his back... this time he had learned from his history and almost immediately sank in a deep kimura to stop the fight. In his most recent bout, Ross Tyson absolutely dominated Norberto Rivera en route to a decision victory.

In this fight we will see if Lucas Li tries to grapple with the much more dominant submission fighter in Ross Tyson. If he does, it's reasonable to expect that Tyson should walk away with the victory. However Tyson needs to respect the hands of Lucas Li, who would truly be a force if he kept the fight standing.

(Welterweight Division) Hector Alvarez (5-2) versus Yoel Edson (5-2)

Hector Alvarez is a heavy handed slugger from Mexico City, Mexico. He started his career under the management of Michael Faraday with back-to-back losses at the hands of strong submission fighters. After parting ways with Faraday, he found his way to Peanut Minarsich to correct his course. In his first fight under new managemet, Alvarez faced Doyle Buckley, another submission grappler. With his mind right, Alvarez was able to make short work of Buckley, stopping him with a brutal flurry of punches just twelve seconds into the fight. Alvarez continued his winning ways with another lightning quick victory, this time against Mark Brewer. Next Alvarez defeated Tyson Johns. Although he was able to survive early turmoil, Johns couldn't withstand the relentless pressure of Alvarez. In his next bout, Hector Alvarez faced his demons when Harris Gillespie wa able to clinch and take him down twice in the opening minutes of the fight. Alvarez kept his composure, however, and stopped Gillespie after getting back to his feet. In his most recent bout, Alvarez took on Trenton Snider. After landing some bombs early in the fight, Alvarez succumbed to a pair of takedowns from Snider. Midway into the second round, Alvarez dropped Snider with a big combination before following him to the ground for no reason that I can think of. Alvarez quickly thought better of it and got to his feet. The remainder of the fight was dominated by the boxing skill of Hector Alvarez. Since changing management teams, Alvarez is on a five fight winning streak.

Yoel Edson found himself on a similar career path to his opponent here. Edson seemed to start his career with a bit more promise as he knocked out Lon Jackson in just five seconds in a smaller show. Edson was quickly signed to the Some Fighting League promotion, where he dominated powerhouse grappler DeMarcus Ridley en route to winning fight of the night. Unfortunately the hype train was derailed when Edson was stopped by heavy handed brawler Michael Tyler. Edson parted ways with the promotion and with his management, taking a decent length of time away from unarmed combat. Edson emerged some time later in a local show, where he won a unanimous decision victory over Dimitri Dimka. Edson signed a single fight contract to fight for the inaugural SCT welterweight championship, a fight that Edson dominated. Unfortunately Edson's title reign was cut short when the promotion abruptly closed its doors. Edson returned to the smaller shows, besting his next opponent. In his most recent fight, Yoel Edson faced Asmodius Crowley, a powerful amateur wrestler. The fight would be dictated by the takedowns of Crowley, who walked away with the decision victory.

In this fight we have the successful resurgence story of Hector Alvarez, who seems poised to make a run for the championship, and we have a former title holder looking to return to the top with a victory. Alvarez should have the advantage on the feet but Yoel Edson is notoriously difficult to stop.

(Super-Heavyweight Division) Rodimus Prime (4-1) versus Ariel Ortega (1-1)

Rodimus Prime is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt that utilizes a loose flowing style of attack. In his professional debut he faced Pupuki Namasuzuki, a seven fight veteran. Prime dominated the fight with his wrestling ability before submitting Namasuzuki in the second round. In his next bout, Rodimus signed a one fight deal with the UnderGround FC promotion where he faced Jiu-Jitsu brown belt “Total Badass”. Although he was a bit more cautious in his efforts, Prime dominated Badass on the ground en route to a lopsided decision victory. Returning to the QFC arena, Rodimus Prime faced one-and-done brawler Darren Chettri, submitting him in the opening round of their fight. After besting Nigel Jenkins, Prime got his only taste of defeat when he was paired up against kickboxer Brock Stockhold. Prime was caught early with a big head kick upon separating from the clinch.

Ariel Ortega a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt from Sydney, Australia, by way of Buenos Aires, Argentina. In his professional debut he faced fellow BJJ practitioner Brain Duffy. The two fighters would trade takedowns and escapes, with Brain Duffy inevitably winning a lackluster decision victory. Next Ortega was signed by UnderGround FC. In his promotional debut he faced Nikolas Vieira. The fight would be fairly competitive, with Ortega winning two of three rounds.

In this fight we have two fantastic BJJ purple belts going head-to-head. This fight will come down to who is able to maintain position in his chase for a submission.

(Super-Heavyweight Division) Shane Nakamura (2-0) versus Nikolas Vieira (0-2)

Shane Nakamura is a Japanese mixed martial arts fighter hailing from Tokyo. He is reportedly a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blue belt with decent wrestling and his ground n pound is second to none in the division. Both of his professional bouts took place in the Japanese QFC circuit where he scored back to back TKO finishes. In his pro debut he faced four fight veteran and blue belt submission fighter Brendon Rios. Nakamura was taken down almost immediately in the fight, but quickly scrambled to his feet and scored a takedow of his own. From half guard, Nakamura brutalized Rios with ground and pound until the referee mercifully stopped the bout.

Nikolas Vieira is a Muay Thai striker that holds a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, mostly used for defense. While his nickname is “Jack Godzilla”, I would more aptly dub him the escape artist. In both of his professional bouts he was repeatedly taken down but always managed to reverse or escape to his feet. Although he has yet to find success in his fighting career, he remains diligent that his time is coming. He made his fighting debut in the Brazilian QFC arena, taking on submission specialist Jeff Castro. Despite his success in defending the submission, Vieira lost the match via unanimous decision in the end. Following this defeat he signed with UnderGround FC, vowing to turn his career around in style. In his promotional debut he faced BJJ purple belt Ariel Ortega. Despite the disadvantages on the ground, Vieira held his own and survived each nasty position in which he was placed. In the end, he once again found himself losing a decision to his opponent.

In this fight I believe we will see the heavy hands of Nakamura dropping regularly on the face of Vieira. However Nikolas Vieira is as durable as they come, and he should be able to find some success if he can escape to his feet and keep it there.

(Bantamweight Division) Caeser Kombombuizc (4-0) versus Oganeditse Gaolathe (1-0)

Caeser Kombombuizc, who I will refer to as Kombom for the remainder of this preview unless I am feeling bold, is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt and undefeated submission wizard from Baku, Azerbaijan. Currently living and training in Amsterdam, he has competed entirely within the regional circuit leading into this match. In addition to being an accomplished BJJ practitioner, Caeser Kombom is an excellent wrestler. He made his professional debut against Jiimy Gogi, a blue belt. Kombom dominated the fight from the opening seconds; he scored an immediate takedown and fought for the submission for nearly three minutes before securing the fight ending kimura. Next he faced kickboxing standout “Nigga Bruh”. Thankfully Kombom won this fight in record time so I don't have to write his opponent's name a second time. Next Kombom faced Stanislav Borzov; Kombom made him look like he was standing still. Following an immediate wrestling shot, Kombom briefly found himself on the bottom but quickly reversed back to the top where he finished the fight. In his most recent outing, Caeser Kombombruizc faced his greatest challenge to date when he faced Rashad Evans, a BJJ purple belt. This time Kombom was the one taken down and defending a submission attempt, but Kombom quickly took the top position- and his opponent's arm. In four pro fights, Caeser Kombombuizc has taken four arms home with him and now he has his eyes set on Gaolathe.

Oganeditse Gaolathe is among the greatest talent to grace the UnderGround FC's bantamweight division. Hailing from Garborone, Bostwana but living in Los Angeles, California, Oganeditse is a powerful Muay Thai striker that fights comfortably in the clinch and out of it. He is reportedly also an accomplished grappler, we just haven't had the chance to see him fight on the ground. In his lone MMA bout, Oganeditse Gaolathe faced Jeremy Roenick, a fellow Muay Thai stylist. Roenick initiated the clinch early but was quickly outclassed by Gaolathe who brutalized him with punches on the inside. With Roenick hurt from an uppercut, Gaolathe took the opportunity to break away cleanly before dropping him with a wild left hook. Gaolathe swarmed the wobbled foe with more punches until Roenick tapped out to avoid taking further punishment.

I liked the look and feel of this one but found the little fight preview section located before the actual preview to be horribly tedious a very small visual appearance. The forum occasionally moves the placement of letters or indents randomly when I mess with the colors. Lately has been very picky about letting me change colors of specific words. Regardless I stopped doing that in later previews.

I was still kind of trying to remember how I liked the format to look while writing this one out.

Bantamweight Division Tree Fortay versus UniConor Noble

Super-Heavyweight Division Colin Kaepernick versus Datu Rizalia

Lightweight Division Hairuddin Abdul Rahim versus Islam Mamadaliev

Lightweight Division Jb Brown versus Damir Stojnic

Bantamweight Division Antonio Omas versus Raphael Firenzi

Light-Heavyweight Division Michael Malloy versus Vladimir Emelianenko

Light-Heavyweight Division Alexander Emelianenko versus Vincenzo Lambrucci

Welterweight Division Whorely Alvarez versus Juraj Divisek

Lightweight Division Christopher Fry versus Denzel Arcidiacono

Bantamweight Division Kalvin Harper versus Gold Man

[The Prelims]

(Bantamweight Division) Kalvin Harper (2-1) versus Gold Man (4-5)

Kalvin Harper is a Catch Wrestler from New York, USA. After two successful fight in the QFC arena he was signed by UnderGround FC. In his promotional debut he was defeated by Tree Fortay for the inaugural title.

Gold Man is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt from Belize. This nine fight veteran fought heavily in the regional circuit, winning more than he lost. After taking a pair of fights with RFC, Man returned to the QFC where he was fefeated by The King Bjj. After that he rematched Bjj at UnderGround FC 5.

(Lightweight Division) Christopher Fry (4-4) versus Denzel Arcidiancono (9-11)

Christopher Fry is a catch wrestler from London, England. Despite being a submission focused fighter, the majority of his losses have come via submission. Fry competed in the ninth season of The Island where he fought under the Alcatraz beatdown promotion. After winning only one of his four Alcatraz fights, he made an appearance in the QFC where he defeated Greg Hunlin via decision. Fry made an appearance in the finale tournament but was defeated by Kenshi Kimura... wouldn't it be great if I could write “via kimura?” But alas he was defeted via an arm triangle choke instead. In UnderGround FC, Fry has defeated Damir Stojnic twice.

Denzel Arcidiancono is a boxer and a Jiu-Jitsu blue belt from Michigan, USA. With a wealth of MMA experience under his belt, Denzel has seen great highs and desperate lows. All but one of his fights has taken place in the QFC arena. In UnderGround FC, Fry defeated Ryan Antetokounmpo via TKO early in the opening round.

(Welterweight Division) Whorely Alvarez (10-12) Juraj Divisek versus (3-0)

Whorely Alvarez is a world class wrestling standout and very experienced MMA fighter. With 22 professional fights under his belt, Alvarez is among the most seasoned competitors in the organization. Alvarez was a competitor in Season 9 of The Island where he fought for Immunity Fighting Alliance. During his tenure with IFA, he faced Stojan Kostic for the welterweight championship but succumbed to a triangle choke in the opening round. Alvarez competed in the finale tournament but fell short against Eddie Guerrero. Since leaving The Island, Whorely Alvarez has gone on a three fight winning streak including two brutal knockouts.

Juraj Divisek is every bit the wrestler that his opponet, Alvarez, is. He is also an excellent striker with a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Unlike his opponent, Divisek's wrestling seems to be more clinch style than anything else based on his performances thus far. Divisek's punches are like dynamite, making trading leather with him an absolute last resort. After going undefeated across two matches in FARTMMA, Divisek signed with UnderGround FC where he knocked out Raj Escobar early in the very first round. Most recently Divisek was scheduled to dance with Owen Murray but the latter failed to make weight and so the fight was canceled.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Alexander Emelianenko (2-1) versus Vincenzo Lambrucci (2-3)

Alexander Emelianenko is an amateur Muay Thai kickboxer and relative newcomer to MMA. Fighting out of St Petersberg, Russia, Alexander has made three appearances in the QFC arena. Despite being a white belt in BJJ with no business fighting on the ground, he has shot for multiple takedowns. But what do I know, he has won the majority of his fights.

Vincenzo Lambrucci is an Italian kickboxer. A veteran of The Island Season 9, Vincenzo mostly competed in the QFC arena there. He did make an appearance at the season finale tournament but came up short in the preliminaries. Vincenzo is very dangerous on his feet but vulnerable on the ground.

In this fight I expect to see Emelianenko attempting takedowns that shouldn't exist and Lambrucci using the openings to land bombs.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Michael Malloy (6-3) versus Vladimir Emelianenko (5-3)

Michael Malloy is a durable catch wrestler from Ireland. This veteran of the QFC arena has taken part in TWGC 24, fought for the Skrap House MMA promotion, and has fought twice for The UnderGround Fight Club. In his promotional debut he bested Twistan Breakum via unanimous decision. Most recently he fell victim to a triangle choke compliments of Antonio Almeida.

Vladimir Emelianenko is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt from Moscow, Russia. After making it to the finals in the TWGC 24 tournament, Vladimir became a regular face in the QFC arena. Despite losing in his debut performance there, he went on a five fight winning streak in which he made a name for himself as a dangerous submission fighter.

After signing with UnderGround FC, Emelianenko came up short against Fil Bojtojovskiy, a man with way too many J's in his name for my taste. Due to his popularity and with timing on his side, Emelianenko was granted the opportunity to face Robert Harper for the inaugural Light-Heavyweight Championship of the World. Emelianenko was hurt early in the fight and Harper swarmed him with submission attempts before the Russian could recover. Ultimately Emelianenko would submit to a kneebar in the opening round.

In this fight we have the wrestling of Malloy against the Jiu-Jitsu of Emelianenko. Truthfully this fight is much more even than it may appear on paper. If Malloy has some takedown defense, it may serve him well to use it here although Emelianenko is reportedly a capable striker as well.

[Main Card]

(Bantamweight Division) Antonio Omas (6-0) versus Raphael Firenzi (5-8)

Antonio Omas is an undefeated mixed martial artist from Aurora, Colorado, although he currently lives and trains in Las Vegas, Nevada. A former high school wrestling standout, Omas has found his way into cage fighting in lieu of making a run for the Olympic Games. Antonio Omas cut his teeth in the local circuit, pounding his way through five consecutive opponents using his powerful wrestling to impose his will.

In UnderGround FC, Omas faced Mark Callus who was known for his Muay Thai pedigree. Omas dominated the opening two rounds before getting stuck in the clinch fore the entirety of the third round. Despite losing the last round, Omas did more than enough to win the fight.

Raphael Firenzi is a freestyle mixed martial arts fighter from New York, New York, but he currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is known for his unpredictability in the cage as he will fight you everywhere comfortably. After going undefeated across three QFC bouts, Firenzi signed a contract to fight for JAG Battle League in London, England. Despite a wildly successful promotional debut, Firenzi fell into a losing streak that spanned across the remainder of his JAG career. After five losses with the promotion, Firenzi took a fight with North Star Combat but fell short and was promptly released from his contract.

After showing that he was still dangerous in a local show, where he knocked out Park Shin Bum, he signed with UnderGround Fight Club. He has fallen victim in back-to-back performances against Timdus Campos and the majestic UniConor Noble.

In this fight I believe we will see Firenzi struggle with the wrestling and intensity of Antonio Omas. Almost all of Firenzi's big moments have come when he faces opponents on his feet although he does have decent takedowns as well. Omas will likely be smart enough to keep Firenzi on his back for as long as it takes him to stop being awake.

(Lightweight Division) Jb Brown (4-0) versus Damir Stojnic (6-16)

Jb Brown is an undefeated mixed martial arts fighter from Los Angeles, California. In English that means “the city without straws.” Jb Brown is coincidentally a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a wizard at submissions. He has competed three times in The UnderGround FC cage and has submitted a who's who of helpless white belt wrestlers in the process. Brown is the proverbial unstoppable force on the ground, and every wrestler in the division has night terrors waiting for the day they are asked to fight him.

Damir Stojnic is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blue belt with cast iron balls for taking this fight. Known for his submissions, Stojnic is playing with fire in this fight. I don't mean to disparage Stojnic's career, but the man must be masochistic to keep fighting while on a seven fight losing streak. But like the traveling salesman from the movie Gladiator told the guy with the gay giraffes- you need some winners and you need some punching bags (roughly paraphrased). The majority of Stojnic's fights have taken place in the QFC arena where he has been beaten more times than a captcha test.

In his UFC career, Stojnic has been brutally mugged by Christopher Fry twice.

In this fight we will see Jb Brown become the eighth consecutive man participate in Stojnic's weird little BDSM style abuse fetish when he chokes the shit out of him.

(Lightweight Division) Hairuddin Abdul Rahim (9-2) versus Islam Mamadaliev (7-3)

Hairuddin Abdul Rahim is an amateur wrestler from Seoul, Malaysia. Rahim has eleven professional MMA bouts to his credit and has never been stopped by strikes. Utilizing his powerful wrestling, he has been able to take down and smash the majority of men that he has shared the cage with. Before signing with UnderGroud Fight Club, Rahim went 8-1 in the smaller local shows, earning him a wide reaching reputation as a fearsome ground and pound stylist.

In his UFC debut he faced submission fighter Bernardo Suarez. After hammering the man with strikes for a round and a half, Rahim scored a finish on the man as Suarez became overwhelmed by the pressure of the attack. Next Rahim faced his biggest challenge when he fought undefeated Jiu-Jitsu wizard Jb Brown. Rahim attempted to keep the fight standing but found himself on the receiving end of a takedown with a submission loss not far behind it.

Islam Mamadaliev is also a grinding wrestler. Born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey (not Constantinople), Mamadaliev also fought in the QFC circuit with six men falling before him. In his UnderGround debut, Mamadaliev faced undefeated star Liberal Stomper for the inaugural lightweight championship but came up short when he was caught with a big right hand late in the opening round. Islam Mamadaliev faced back-to-back brown belt submission specialists in Kreapy Krawlee and Jb Brown with both men submitting Mamadaliev. Like his opponent, Rahim, Mamadaliev still rubs his left arm and wakes up in a cold sweat when he dreams of men in Jiu-Jitsu gis assaulting him.

In his most recent appearance, Mamadaliev faced fellow wrestler Shamil Magomedov. Mamadaliev proved to be the better of the two when he kept Magomedov on his back eating shots for the entirety of the fight.

In this fight we will see two white belt wrestlers duke it out. Whoever can stay on top wins this one. I say the loser should have to fight another brown belt as punishment, that should motivate them both to want to win.

(Super-Heavyweight Division, Championship bout) Colin Kaepernick© (6-0) versus Datu Rizalia (4-1)

Colin Kaepernick is the UnderGround Fight Club Super-Heavyweight Champion of the World. He is undefeated in professional mixed martial arts; six men have tried to best him and six men have fallen before his fury. This world class Muay Thai stylist was born in Toamasina, Madagascar. When normal countries have rain or snow seasons, Madagascar has plague seasons instead. If you asked Kaepernick about it, he would laugh and say that Madagascar breeds some of the toughest men alive. If you're tough enough to survive a few plague seasons, you're tough enough to step into the cage. When asked about his name, Colin stated that is an honor to share a name with such a well known activist for his people.

Colin started his career on the local circuit of New York where he scored a brutal stoppage over Randy Ruiz. Kaepernick took the rest of the year off to continue his training. Upon his return he immediately signed with The UnderGround Fight Club and accepted a fight with Datu Rizalia. At this point in time, Rizalia was making his MMA and promotional debut but was already rumored to have an incredible striking game as well. The first round of their fight had shifting momentum as Rizalia seemed to be the more polished of the two kickboxers but when Kaepernick managed to clinch with Rizalia it became Kaep's round. In the second round, a visibly gassed Rizalia struggled to keep up with the intensity of Kaepernick. When the two clinched this time, Rizalia wilted under the assault of Kaepernick's knee attacks. Next Colin Kaepernick ran through former amateur boxing prodigy Hendrikas Kamaras, dominating him in the clinch with his patented knees. Roman Strange was the next striker to stand up to Kaepernick- and the next to fall before him.

The stage was set for Colin Kaepernick to challenge reigning champion Total Badass for the crown. Badass was a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt fresh off of back-to-back submission victories. The champion would live up to his name as he took all of Kaepernick's best shots and hung in there, surviving being badly hurt in the opening round. By the end of the fight, Total Badass had Kaepernick's respect, but Kaepernick had his belt.

Kaepernick's first title defense would come against fellow Muay Thai standout Tohit Tohurt. The fight would prove to be the most competitive of Kaepernick's thus far flawless career. The bulk of the fight would take place inside the clinch and although Kaepernick got the better of the opening two rounds, Tohurt stayed in there and kept up with the champion. The final round took place mostly at a distance which gave Tohurt the chance to score some points. Tohurt became the only man to win a round against Colin Kaepernick but it wasn't enough to steal the fight for him.

While Colin Kaepernick has been sitting comfortably on the throne, Datu Rizalia has been winning fights. Datu Rizalia is a real striker with experience in Muay Thai and boxing. This Italian martial artist has made a name for himself as the Mike Tyson of the UnderGround heavyweight division with four consecutive knockout victories.

Not long after losing in his debut performance against Colin Kaepernick, Rizalia faced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt Lochlan Grant, who was known for his takedowns against the cage. Rizalia avoided the clinch like he was allergic to it while battering Grant from the outside. Midway through the opening round, Rizalia dropped Grant with a powerful headkick, and repeated the act thirty seconds later, this time pushing for the finish. Next Rizalia faced former pro boxer and beloved knockout artist Irael Montanyo. Rizalia took the opportunity to show off his improved footwork, circling on the outside and picking Montanyo apart with kicks before finishing the man with a brutal right hand.

Rizalia took a fight against BJJ brown belt Ben Dover. The bout was far from competitive as Rizalia caught Dover shooting for a takedown and knocked him out with a head kick. In his most recent bout, Rizalia faced Greco Roman wrestler Sonny Liston. The fight was seen as a true test of where Rizalia stood in his career: had he overcome his handicap in the clinch? Unfortunately Liston was picked apart with crisp counter-strikes and finished in less time than it takes to peel a hard boiled egg.

Datu Rizalia has been vocal on the Buzz, stating to Kaepernick that, “them knees wont be easy to get this time ima ko u in the 1st round”. Fans are truly divided on who will come out on top in this match.

(Bantamweight Division, Championship bout) Tree Fortay© (6-1) versus UniConor Noble (3-0)

Tree Fortay is the UnderGround Fight Club Bantamweight Champion of the World. He holds a background in collegiate wrestling, a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and is an accomplished boxer. He began his career, as many have, fighting in the smaller QFC shows, where he finished Bong Ji Woo with what would become his trademark submission. Shortly after, he signed with the hilariously named FARTMMA promotion, submitting Daevon Killster with an armbar. His meeting with Voltech Lewis at FARTMMA 6 saw the same results: dramatic armbar finish.

With his two fight deal completed, Tree Fortay signed a two fight contract with PhoQus Sport Enterprise. He made his promotional debut against Leroy Perez, a skilled BJJ brown belt in his own right. The fight would go all three rounds with Fortay badly hurting Perez midway through the final round en route to a decision victory. Next Fortay battered ad dominated world class striker Hans Richter, finishing him with brutal knees in the clinch. Before signing with the UFC, Tree Fortay accepted one fight deal with Batoru Fighting Championship, where he faced Vladimir Konstantinov, a Russian wrestler. The result would be a massive upset as Konstantinov would walk away with a unanimous decision victory.

Unperturbed by this setback, Tree Fortay was offered the opportunity to fight for the inaugural UnderGroud FC bantamweight championship on May 23. His opponent was Kalvin Harper, a powerful catch wrestler coming off the heels of back-to-back victories in the QFC arena. Fortay saw this as the opportunity to clear a terrible stain on his resume, having just lost to a wrestler, and earn a world title at the same time. Fortay would surprise everybody when he caught Harper with a big punching combination. Fortay dove onto his broken opponent and secured his old favorite technique: the armbar.

UniConor Noble is an undefeated mixed martial arts fighter that is ranked #2 in his division and number 26 out of 216 fighters. He is a world class Muay Thai stylist that holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Noble made his professional fighting debut in The UnderGround FC cage where he took on fellow newcomer Joe Tromundo, dominating him both at a range as well as inside the clinch en route to a unanimous decision victory. Next he faced undefeated Titus Contreras, a catch wrestler from Brazil. Contreras was the veteran of six consecutive QFC bouts of which only one had gone the distance. Known for his heavy hands, Contreras found himself on the losing end of nearly every exchange and he didn't fare much better in the clinch. After rocking him against the cage, Noble finished Contreras with big punches until the referee rescued the man.

In his most recent bout, UniConor Noble faced Raphael Firenzi, a freestyle brawler with heavy strikes. Firenzi came into their meeting already a veteran of twelve professional bouts. Noble battered the man with beautiful counter-strikes, finishing him midway through the opening round.

By the time I wrote this one, I had said "to hell" with coloring the pre-preview fight list and just left it monochromatic. It doesn't look as nice but also doesn't make me day drink to format.

UnderGround FC 8 was a mixed martial arts event held by the UnderGround Fight Club promotion in conjunction with the UnderGroud Fight Ent. Alliance. This event took place on June 26, 2019 at The Underground arena in Amsterdam. This review was brought to you by UnderGround Bets, a premiere betting service that you can count on.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Bill From Killer Hill vs. Aapo Jukola

Review

Jukola used his clinchwork to dominate Hill against the cage but was even landing strikes before that. After a minute against the cage, Bill From Killer Hill went down from an uppercut and the referee stopped the fight. Aapo Jukola def. Bill From Killer Hill via TKO (Strikes) at 1:16 of round 1.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Tremaine Wiltshire vs. Daana Wyte

Review

Wiltshire came out looking to counter-strike off of the missed shots of Wyte... but that opportunity never came. Daana Wyte was landing shots immediately and he dropped Wiltshire with an early combination, finishing him with a big left hook. Daana Wyte def. Tremaine Wiltshire via KO (Punch) at 0:27 of round 1.

(Super-Heavyweight Division) Joe Clark vs. Antonio Dailey

Review

Antonio Dailey put all of his chips on scoring an early takedown in this fight. When that didn't happen, he was left vulnerable to the fury of Joe Clark. Joe Clark def. Antonio Dailey via KO (Punch) at 1:18 of round 1.

(Super-Heavyweight Division) Max Van Leeuwenhoek vs. Anurak Chakrabongse

Review

This was a fight where a lot of strikes were thrown but only three landed, giving Leeuwenhoek the victory. Max Van Leeuwenhoek def. Anurak Chakrabongse via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

(Lightweight Division) Rodolfo Gracie vs. Jason Kneeshaw

Review

Jason Kneeshaw lived up to his name and dominated Gracie with knees from the clinch. Although he manage to hurt Gracie early in the final round, the fight went the distance. Jason Kneeshaw def. Rodolfo Gracie via Unanimous Decision (30-24, 30-24, 30-24).

(Welterweight Division) Nick Lucas Li vs. Ross Tyson

Review

As I unfortunately expected, Nick Lucas Li gave an early takedown to Tyson every single round. At least he managed to not get submitted, I guess. Ross Tyson def. Nick Lucas Li via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

(Welterweight Division) Hector Alvarez vs. Yoel Edson

Review

Alvarez dropped Edson with a big left punch early and would have scored a quick finish but he followed Edson to the ground. After thinking better of it, Alvarez got back up and finished the job with followup punches. Hector Alvarez def. Yoel Edson via KO (Punch) at 1:58 of round 1.

(Super-Heavyweight Division) Rodimus Prime vs. Ariel Ortega

Review

Rodimus Prime dominated this fight with his wrestling before catching Ortega standing up. Rodimus Prime def. Ariel Ortega via Submission (Armbar) at 2:59 of round 2.

[Co-Main Event]

(Super-Heavyweight Division) Shane Nakamura vs. Nikolas Vieira

Review

Color me surprised. I expected Nakamura to do better on the ground in this bout but Vieira survived to weather the early storm, coming back strong in the later rounds. After being dominated in the opening round, Nikolas Vieira came back to win the latter two. Nikolas Vieira def. Shane Nakamura via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).

[Main Event]

(Bantamweight Division) Caesar Kombomuizc vs. Oganeditse Gaolathe

Review

Caesar Kombomuizc could not score a single of his fifteen takedown attempts in this fight. Undefeated purple belt and submission wizard Caesar Kombomuizc was left standing on his feet eating strikes from Oganeditse Gaolathe. To his credit, Kombomuizc survived every round without being hurt. Imagine this man with better wrestling and some striking but with that chin. Oganeditse Gaolathe def. Caesar Kombomuizc via Unanimous Decision (30-24, 30-24, 30-24).

The lone event review that I've produced for UnderGround Fight Club. I was hired strictly to review but thought it would be nice to over-achieve a little. Then I realized that UFC (oh god I wrote it) was hosting six events in four days so I decided to stop doing reviews altogether. I tried to play catch up but missed one preview in favor of this review, effectively shooting myself in the knee to save my leg.

UnderGround FC 10 is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by the UnderGround Fight Club promotion in conjunction with the UnderGroud Fight Ent. Alliance. This event is scheduled to take place on June 28, 2019 at The Underground arena in Amsterdam. [Main Card]

(Featherweight Division) Anthony Jackson (4-1) versus Hans Richter (3-1)

Anthony Jackson is a Macedonian boxing stylist that is making his UnderGround FC debut here. He participated in the QFC Tournament 916 where he defeated fellow slugger Kari Kaataja before falling victim to the ground assault of BJJ brown belt Kevyt Kaikkonen. Despite this setback, Jackson fought three more times in the QFC arena where he stopped three consecutive opponents in Rodrigo Bean, Dirk Armstrong, and Hubert Nielson.

Hans Richter is a well rounded striker with experience in kickboxing and boxing, but also adequate grappling as well. Like his opponent he is making his UnderGround FC debut in this appearance after fighting professionally elsewhere. Richter fought exclusively for PhoQus Sports Enterprise of Hilo, Hawaii. There he stopped back-to-back opponents in Hallo Ween and Jamal Lyttle. In his third pro fight, he was defeated by future UnderGround FC bantamweight champion Tree Fortay. In his most recent appearance, Richter defeated Simba Moso via unanimous decision.

(Welterweight Division) David Kozma (3-0) versus James Freeman (5-7)

David Kozma is an undefeated BJJ purple belt from the Czech Republic. He made his fighting debut against Jason Craig in the QFC arena. After dominating Craig with grappling in the first round, Kozma knocked him out with a big punch early in the second round. Next he faced submission fighter Solomon Holman; Kozma destroyed Solman on the ground, submitting him with a triangle choke in the opening round.

His most recent bout came in the UFC where he submitted Bob McCracken in just under two minutes.

James Freeman is a Muay Thai fighter with a blue belt in BJJ. With twelve professional fights under his belt, Freeman is clearly the more experienced of the fighters on the main card here. James Freeman fought the majority of his fights on The Island during its ninth season.

James fought the bulk of his fights under the Alcatraz banner, racking up a promotional record of 4-3 with his biggest win during that span being over BJJ brown belt and power wrestler Sam Samuelson. Despite the grappling disadvantages, Freeman submitted Samuelson with a guillotine choke in the opening round.

Next James fought for Immunity Fighting Alliance. After losing his promotional debut, he submitted Xora Lutar earning himself a shot at reigning champion Johnny Lawrence. After surviving the opening round, Freeman fell to strikes in the second.

Most recently, James was defeated by Jo Jotaro in the UnderGround arena.

(Middleweight Division) Mick Richards (4-1) versus Pate Parret (2-0)

Mick Richards is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt that loves to brawl with foes. After dominating Ronaldo Souza in the QFC arena, Richards signed with UnderGround FC.

Mick was paired up with fellow slugger Johny Salami. Mick Richards made a lot of noise in his promotional debut, knocking Salami out with a slam takedown and earning himself KO of the night as well as Fight of the Night. Next Richards ran through blue belt William Regal. With three fights under his belt, Mick Richards faced fellow undefeated fighter Dansen Chayambuka. Known for his brown belt, Chayambuka dominated the opening round but struggled as Richards picked up the pace in the latter two rounds.

In his most recent appearance, Mick Richards challenged What Addams for the middleweight championship. Although he landed some shots from the outside, Richards found himself trapped against the cage eating knees from Addams. Despite his best efforts to stay in the fight, Richards was caught with a big knee, costing him the fight.

Pate Parret is a high level Finnish kickboxer with a background in Muay Thai. Known for his extremely heavy hands, Parret is quickly becoming a fan favorite.

Parret made his professional debut in the QFC arena where he faced submission grappler Notorious Lawyer. Parret caught Lawyer coming in, dropping him with a big uppercut and finishing him with a left hook immediately after. In his first UFC fight, Parret faced boxer Jorge Cassel. With Cassel looking to clinch early, Parret began landing punches immediately, dropping Cassel with an overhand right and knocking his foe out cold.

(Heavyweight Division) Oskar Schmidt (4-1) versus Israel Montanyo (3-2)

Oskar Schmidt is a wrestler with a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He began his career on the local circuit, stopping Cole Norton with the heavy ground and pound that would quickly become the staple of his career. In his second pro fight, Schmidt beat down Danny Silva so badly that the doctor had to stop the fight from ringside due to the amount of blood loss. After that bloody performance, Schmidt signed with UnderGround FC. In his debut he was paired up with Yessir Kranicks, a fellow wrestler. Schmidt controlled the fight with his wrestling before knockig Kranicks out cold with ground and pound from guard. The promotion was sold on Schmidt and the fans were in love.

With his star quickly on the rise, Schmidt accepted a fight against Mongali Samson, a strong submission grappler. Schmidt left no question that he was the superior fighter as he dropped Jon Jones style hellbows from the top position, forcing a quick stoppage. This set Schmidt up with the toughest challenge of his career: he would face Fray Tormenta for the heavyweight championship.

Tormenta initiated an early clinch against Schmidt, who happily obliged him by taking the BJJ black belt to the canvas. Tormenta showed his class when slid into bottom guard and locked in a triangle choke, seemingly in one movement.

Israel Montanyo is a heavy handed boxer from the UK. He started his career with back to back victories in the QFC arena, stopping both opponents in the opening round. His third professional fight came in UnderGround FC where he faced BJJ brown belt Lochlan Grant. Despite dominating the opening minute of the fight, Montayo would succumb to a takedown and submission just before the two minute mark. Next Montayo faced submission grappler Lars Bullock, stopping him with heavy punches.

Most recently Montanyo faced world class striker Datu Rizalia. The two would trade strikes for about a minute before Montanyo fell from a big right hand.

(Heavyweight Division) Fedor Mazepin (6-2) versus Jolly Rodger (5-1)

Fedor Mazepin is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt from St Petersburg, Russia. Within UnderGround FC he has made a bid for the UFC heavyweight championship and cemented himself as a durable contender in the division.

Fedor Mazepin made his professional debut in the QFC arena where he stopped Efren Bird with brutal ground and pound from mount. Next Mazepin faced fellow submission grappler Chang Cobb, submitting him with a guillotine choke off of an ill advised takedown attempt from Cobb. Mazepin next faced Muay Thai standout Christov Yanovich. After surviving early turmoil in the clinch against Yanovich, Mazepin managed to bring the fight to the ground where he quickly submitted Yanovich with an armbar. After running through Larry Homes, Mazepin faced world class submission grappler and undefeated fighter Damian Dyatlov. Mazepin would find himself on the bottom more often than not with Dyatlov landing shots from guard. While Mazepin was in no real danger, it was enough to secure the victory for Dyatlov.

Following his first professional loss, Fedor Mazepin signed with The UnderGround Fight Club. In his promotional debut, Mazepin submitted Syd The Scorpion with a triangle choke in the opening round. Given his track record of dominance, Mazepin was offered the chance to face former FARTMMA and reigning UnderGround FC heavyweight champion Fray Tormenta. A world class wrestler and Jiu-Jitsu black belt, Tormenta happily obliged Mazepin's desire to fight on the ground, and showed his talent when he submitted Mazepin in the opening round with an armbar. In his most recent bout, Mazepin faced wrestling prodigy Runny Hitter. Mazepin gave up an early takedown to Hitter but managed to slip out the back and secure a rear naked choke, stopping Hitter in under a minute.

Jolly Rodger is a former amateur boxer from the UK. After going undefeated at light-heavyweight for five fights, he made his UnderGround FC debut as a heavyweight.

Jolly made his fighting debut in the QFC arena stopping Cory Tyson in just thirty seconds with a big uppercut. Next Rodger faced undefeated Hivahe Remore. After surviving an early clinch battle with Remore, Rodger dropped his foe twice before finishing with heavy punches. The QFC arena paired the two up again shortly after. Remore would score several takedowns in this meeting but would be hurt badly in the second round. Rodger would go on to win the judge's decision. The duo met a third time... Rodger hurt Remore with punches three times in the opening round and early in the second round before finishing with big punches against the cage. Rodgers' final appearance in the QFC came against Test Fighter C. Although Rodger would hurt his opponent early in the fight, they would go the distance with Rodger taking home a one-sided decision.

In his UnderGround debut, Rodger faced heavy handed knockout artist Josh Peterson. As the two strikers exchanged big punches in the early seconds, Rodger was the first to taste leather as he was dropped from a big right hand. Rodger began swinging wild in a desperate attempt to get back in the fight but Peterson proved to be too quick and avoided the shots. Rodger went down on another big right hand and this time the fight was stopped.

A note from the author: I hate writing only a main card preview but with my writing style, simply giving the minor details isn't adequate. I want to explain who the fighter is and why their career path matters. Ideally I would give every single fighter his own spot light with the chance to say what he has to say.

The UnderGround FC is providing you guys with ample opportunities to fight and I love having the opportunity to take part in this. When I signed on I promised myself that I would at least give an abbreviated preview and short review for each card- that meant providing you guys with six previews and six reviews* in a four day span. Luckily I started a few days early so I got the jump on it a little.

I want you guys to participate in my writing and I just don't have the time to chase you down and hound dog you about it. So if you want to play along with my silly little writings, please contact me in-game with your fighter's name as the subject. I will ask you interview questions, I will write out a background for your fighter, whatever you want to do. If you happen to be a title holder or you think you're soon to be a title challenger I would love to write out a more detailed interview with you. But I can't chase down 221 fighters looking for quotes. If you want to get involved, please come to me.

*I'm actually only contracted to write previews but I love recording the progress of record holders and champions so I'm providing reviews as a little bonus.

Look at me calling myself "the author". How pretentious. Nice to go from UFC 8 (ugh) review straight to the UFC 10 preview. I'm sure that didn't confuse anyone. I made it a main card preview to avoid having an aneurysm, a tactic I would employ at least once more during that four day span.

(Welterweight Division) Divanei Silva (4-1) versus Xyryx Ignacio (4-4)

Divanei Silva is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt and fearsome submission fighter. He made his professional debut in the QFC arena, submitting back-to-back opponents in Millard Hensley and Daniel Stevenson. He was quickly signed by UnderGround Fight Club. He made his promotional debut against Ford Xander at Friday Night Fights IV, submitting the man in the opening round. After submitting Ronald DiVerdici he challenged Sivile Gonya for the welterweight championship. Silva would get caught early and finished with punches in just eighteen seconds.

Xyryx Ignacio is a true mixed martial artist, capable of fighting anywhere that the fight should go. Half of his professional fights have taken place in the QFC arena.

He made his professional debut in the QFC against collegiat wrestler Grappa Bappa. Although he was outmatched in terms of wrestling, Ignnacio held his own, surviving until the final bell. Next he faced fellow BJJ blue belt Enrique Black, defeating him via unanimous decision. After submitting Kermit York, Ignacio signed with the Rapid Fighting Championship promotion where he was defeated in his initial outing. After defeating a foe in the QFC he signed with UnderGround Fight Club.

In his promotional debut, Ignacio faced future title challenger Monte Goglin, ultimately losing via TKO. After falling short against world class kickboxer Cross A Zoo, Ignacio faced BJJ brown belt Mike Tentalau. After being taken down twice in the early goings, Ignacio survived the ground assault and went on to win the fight via strikes on the feet.

(Super-Heavyweight Division) Boz Rutten (4-1) versus Tohit Tohurt (5-4)

Boz Rutten is a heavy handed boxing stylist from London, England. The majority of his career took place in the QFC arena with four lightning quick stoppages. He made his UFC debut against Kamen Kamenov, knocking him out cold in the third round.

Tohit Tohurt is a Muay Thai stylist known for his flashy and unpredictable style as well as for his brutal knockouts. He has challenged for championship titles three times over the course of his career and although he has come up short each time, he is always viewed as a top fighter in the super-heavyweight division.

Tohurt began fighting on The Island during its 9th season. He fought for the Immunity Fighting Alliance where he challenged undefeated power wrestler Turd McPherson for the championship. Tohurt would be stopped due to a bad cut received early in the fight, costing him the title shot. Tohurt would go on an absolute tear, knocking out three consecutive opponents including fellow title challenger Moon Up Sun Up. Tohurt would challenge the new champion, Black Caesar, for the title but would fall victim to an armbar in the opening round. Tohit Tohurt would make one final appearance on The Island, stopping Ezekiel Oleynik in just nine seconds.

In his first fight after leaving The Island, Tohurt challenged unstoppable champion Colin Kaepernick for the title. After losing two rounds to Kaep, Tohurt took over in the final round landing heavy strikes. Unfortunately his efforts came too little, too late, and once again he failed to capture a world title.

(Middleweight Division, Championship bout) What Addams© (4-2) versus Raiam Dos Santos (7-7)

What Addams© is the undisputed middleweight champion of the UFC. After making his professional debut on The Island during its ninth season, Addams began fighting for the UFC. Addams utilizes a mixture of Muay Thai and wrestling to defeat foes.

What Addams began his career in the Island Vale Tudo promotion on The Island. Despite having an inauspicious debuting performance against Amiko Bono, Addams proved his worth when he brutally stopped Chris Robertson in the second round with knees from the clinch. Next Addams faced Jiu-Jitsu specialist Lucas Pablo, knocking him out with a head kick in the very first round.

What Addams participated in the The Island Season Finale Tournamet but was defeated via unanimous decision against Amiti Speyer. To get back on track, Addams took a fight in the QFC arena where he met BJJ purple belt Jamiah Monlova. Addams made short work of Monlova, stopping him with strikes in the second round.

Following the Monlova bout, What Addams signed with UnderGround Fight Club. His promotional debut came at UFC MNF 2. With the inaugural middleweight championship on the line, What Addams faced off against undefeated BJJ purple belt Mick Richards. The fight would take place almost entirely in the clinch with Addams destroying Richards with strikes, knocking him out with a big knee midway into the round.

Raiam Dos Santos is a powerhouse of a boxer with six of his seven victories coming by way of early knockout. This brawler is comfortable in or out of the clinch, is a competent grappler, and is a nightmare opponent for anybody in the middleweight division. With fourteen professional bouts on his record, Dos Santos has a wealth of experience supporting him in his bid for the title.

Like his opponent, Raiam Dos Santos began fighting during Season 9 of The Island. After losing his debut fight in the QFC, Dos Santos began fighting for Alcatraz Beatdowns, smashing his initial opponent in under two minutes there. Next he faced fellow brawler Paasio Pertti, going the distance for the first and only time in what would turn into a long fighting career. Dos Santos was next paired up with future Alcatraz middleweight champion Robert Higgs, ultimately losing the fight via kimura in the second round. After losing to another purple belt in Lucas Pablo, Dos Santos went on a two fight killing spree, stopping Tyson Parker and King Boyce.

Next, Dos Santos signed up to fight for the Immunity Fighting Alliance. In his debut performance there, he was defeated by John Edmonds, who would go on to win the title following their match. Dos Santos would go 2-2 over his next four bouts, with two title challengers being among his defeats. Raiam Dos Santos participated in the finale tournament where he was submitted by BJJ brown belt Rorion Gracie in the opening round.

Immediately after leaving The Island, Raiam Dos Santos signed with UnderGround FC, making his promotional debut at UFC THF 1. His opponent was experienced Muay Thai stylist Gordon Harper. Dos Santos would go on to defeat Harper via first round TKO.

(Featherweight Division) Ringz daBell (3-0) versus Khabib Nurmagomedov (2-1)

Ringz daBell is a former professional boxer that has made the transition to MMA. Despite having a lackluster career with the sweet science, Ringz has made a name for himself as a serious knockout artist with torque behind his punches. Undefeated in MMA, he is fast becoming a top contender in the UFC featherweight division.

Ringz daBell made his MMA debut, coincidentally enough, against the man he is scheduled to fight now: Khabib Nurmagomedov. The two met at the UFC event known as Mid Week Mashups. Nurmagomedov did well at controlling daBell early with his wrestling but was hurt badly late in the opening round. Ringz stopped Khabib so early in the second round that his seat was still warm from being sat on. Next daBell faced submission fighter Marlin Scars, stopping him in dramatic fashion late in the opening round.

Most recently, Ringz daBell faced catch wrestler Roman Bell. Ringz would ring Bell's bell midway through the opening round, finishing him with a final flurry three minutes in.

Khabib Nurmagomedov is a great wrestler with a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. All three of his pro fights have taken place in the UFC.

In his professional debut, Nurmagomedov was stopped by Ringz daBell in a fight that he believed he should have been able to win. While other men were chasing titles, Nurmagomedov began chasing daBell in hopes of righting that wrong with a rematch. He began his quest for revenge in a meeting with Whalter White, a fellow BJJ purple belt. Nurmagomedov would struggle to control the man in the opening round but go on to dominate the final two frames, hurting White with ground n pound early in the third. Most recently, Khabib faced another submission fighter in Jon Hogan. Once again the control of Nurmagomedov was too much for his opponent.

(Featherweight Division, Championship bout) Reginald Budgiehandler© (5-1) versus Kyle Kristian Galeos (6-0)

Reginald Budgiehandler© is a high level kickboxer with a background in Muay Thai and boxing. He is undefeated I the UnderGround Fight Club and is the reigning undisputed UFC Featherweight Champion of the World.

Reginald started his MMA career in the QFC 876 tournament where he competed as a lightweight. After tearing through three opponents I rapid succession, he faced eventual Rapid Fighting Championship veteran Kari Halifax in the fourth round of the tourney. Despite his best efforts, Budgiehandler would get trapped against the cage eating shots. The strikes would wear him down, eventually hurting him against the cage and forcing a stoppage.

Following his unsuccessful bid in the QFC tournament, Budgiehandler signed with the UnderGround Fight Club. In his promotional debut he faced heavy handed brawler AJ Lyttle. The fight would take place in the clinch but this time Budgiehandler would control the action, landing abuse and stopping his foe.

At UFC SNF 2, Reginald Budgiehandler faced undefeated featherweight champion Shiro Tannaka who was making his second attempt at defending the title. The fight would take place almost entirely in the clinch with Budgiehandler dominating the round and a half of action. Tanaka went down on a big uppercut and ate an even bigger right hand o the outside upon getting back up. Just like that, Reginald Budgiehandler was the undisputed Featherweight Champion of the World.

Kyle Kristian Galeos, also known as “the man with the most unfortunate nickname I've had to write about”, is an undefeated boxer-turned-MMA fighter that holds a perfect professional MMA record of six wins with no losses. All six of his victories have come by way of early knockout.

Galeos fought the bulk of his career in the QFC arena where he faced three men across five fights. His debut came agaist Ragang Ebon, a grappler that almost made it three whole minutes against the punching punisher. Next Galeos faced Ken Specht who in two attempts looked like he wanted to be anywhere in the world instead of in the cage with Kyle Galeos. You can't help who you're paired up with in the QFC and this became especially obvious when former kickboxer, Berklerk Pinsinchai was forced to fight Galeos two times in a row. I hesitate to call their meetings fights; their encounters were more liked controlled muggings. In both encounters, Galeos stopped his opponent in the opening round with ease.

Galeos next signed with UnderGroud Fight Club. He made his promotional debut at UFC SNF 2. Just before Budgiehandler played beat the pinata with Shiro Tanaka for the championship, Kyle Kristian Galeos was facing undefeated BJJ wizard Ky Tycoon. Known for his durability and his powerful submissions, Tycoon was expected to “school” the striker en route to a shot at the title for himself. Galeos had other plans; he came out throwing freight train force punches at the purple belt, reportedly hitting him so hard that his aging father fell out of a lay-z-boy chair at home from the impact. Galeos dropped Tycoon with a big punch, followed him to the ground, and controlled the position until the referee stood them up. Not long after, Galeos repeated the process, surviving a pair of the feared submission attempts in the process. In the second round, Galeos survived an early takedown from Tycoon who for some reason stood up from the ground. It was a mistake that would cost him the fight as Galeos began hammering him with big punches, eventually finishing with a big series of punches.

I started remembering that I like to color champions in yellow. I still hadn't remembered that I like to put the org's belt graphic next to their name.

Ah yes, the one that got away from me. UnderGround FC 12 is the event that I couldn't finish. I ended up agreeing to an early shift at work the next morning and had to lay in bed staring at the ceiling for a few hours to pretend I'm capable of sleeping at night. I'll post what I had written for this card anyways. This didn't even get posted on the official smack talk page.

(Heavyweight Division, Championship bout) Fray Tormenta© (11-1) versus Josh Peterson (6-3)

Fray Tormenta© is a world class wrestler and a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. With a name that translates to “Friar Storm”, Tormenta brings a mighty storm with him whenever he enters the cage. He is the former heavyweight champion of the unfortunately named FARTMMA and is the reigning heavyweight champion of UnderGround Fight Club.

Fray started his MMA career with a lightning fast triangle choke victory over a man named Steve Rogers. Even then with such a fast victory, nobody could have predicted just how great Fray would become in the sport. Following his dramatic debut, Tormenta signed with FARTMMA. Tormenta made his debut performance againt Boomerang Farts which... why. Why that name? Living up to his name (I guess...) Boomerang Farts survived the early abuse of Tormenta, coming back to drop the future world champion with a mighty right hand that sent the grappler crumbling to the floor. Tormenta survived the near defeat experience and forced a clinch situation, trying desperately to hang on and stay in the fight. Farts crop dusted Tormenta with another big right hand, truly stinking up his plans for victory. Tormenta showed his championship heart however when he got back up, clinched, and pulled guard. From there it was all Tormenta as he worked for an armbar that he quickly obtained.

Fray Tormenta dominated back-to-back opponents in Sam Hangman and Domennic Curtis, making him the top contender in the illustrious FARTMMA heavyweight division. The fight would come against undefeated power wrestler Rexx Howler. Although Tormenta would receive an early cut in the opening seconds of this fight, he would quickly score a takedown and triangle choke to make him the undisputed heavyweight champion.

In his first title defense, Fray Tormenta rematched Sam Hangman who was fresh off a brutal knockout victory. Hangman swore that this time their fight would go differently... and he was right. He lasted a full three minutes longer before falling into the same kimura submission hold. The second title defense of Fray Tormenta was against former heavyweight champion Rexx Howler. Despite Howler being a respected heavyweight, pundits and fans alike agreed that the former champion hadn't changed enough to merit earning this rematch. He was the same man so it would end the same way, right? Rexx Howler managed to keep the fight mostly standing up this time and put his Muay Thai experience to work, gashing and slashing Tormenta with brutal elbows that opened up that same old cut from their first meeting. Early in the fourth round the ringside doctor would declare Tormenta unfit to continue due to the severity of the wound. Just like that Fray Tormenta's championship train had been forcibly shoved off its tracks.

Following the loss of his belt, Fray Tormenta signed with UnderGround Fight Club.

Josh Peterson is a heavy handed boxing stylist from Montreal, Canada. He is beloved by fans due to his kill or be killed style of fighting. None of his fights have gone past the first round except for one, which went five seconds into the second round.

Josh started his MMA journey in the local shows where he scored a pair of five second victories in his first two showings. After three consecutive victories in the QFC arena, Josh was ready for the bigger shows. He made his “GET REKT” debut against Deontay Joshua, a fellow boxer that had a penchant for ground fighting as well. Undefeated in MMA, Joshua was expected to be a real test for Peterson's abilities in the cage. All that it tested was how hard the man could hit, as he quickly dispatched Joshua with heavy punches. Next Josh faced future GET REKT heavyweight champion Iosif Cobzone; this one would prove to be too close to the sun for Peterson as he would get caught with a big right hand early in the fight, putting him out cold. Unperturbed by this setback, Josh Peterson immediately accepted a fight against another future heavyweight champion in Alojz Sanel, with similar results.

With back-to-back losses on his record, Josh Peterson signed a two fight contract with the Rapid Fighting Championship of Sydney, Australia. There he made a big show of stopping veteran grappler Dimitri Emelianenko. Due to his star power and reputation, Peterson was paired up with former title challenger (who would go on to challenge for the title three more times) James Fusi. The bout would go down as one of the most popular fights in the history of the RFC. The two warriors would trade big punches from the beginning with Peterson dropping Fusi with a big combination. Smelling blood, Peterson would push the pace looking to finish. Fusi would survive and begin his own onslaught as Peterson began to tire out from the pace, going on to hurt and finish Peterson in the opening round.

Despite the loss, the fans clamored for more of Josh Peterson and the UnderGround Fight Club answered the call, signing Peterson to an exclusive contract immediately. In his promotional debut, Josh Peterson faced fellow slugger Jolly Rodger. Peterson would hurt Rodger early with a big right hand and finish him in just under one minute.

Yep. That's it.

[undercard]

(Heavyweight Division) Rio Silva (3-0) versus Lu Bu (0-1)

Rio Silva is a submission grappler with a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Although he is capable of boxing with his hands, he prefers to smash guys with ground and pound to set up a submission. Rio is undefeated in MMA with three professional bouts on his record. In his pro debut, Rio defeated

August Nash with brutal ground and pound from side control. Next he submitted Royce Franks with an armbar after two and a half rounds of domination on the ground. In his most recent fight, Rio Silva knocked Abdul Vance out in just five seconds. All three of Rio Silva's professional bouts have taken place within the QFC arena.

Lu Bu is a submission grappler as well but with a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has had one professional fight within the QFC arena. Although he lot that bout, we learned that Lu Bu has an incredible chin and is a monster on the ground.

(Heavyweight Division) Patrick Bower (1-3) versus Lindsay Tucker (1-1)

Patrick Bowser is a boxing stylist from Helsinki. He made his pro debut in the QFC arena where he was submitted by Nero Zero. The majority of his fights have taken place in the UFC where he has faced Lars Bullock, John Daugherty, and Doland Mo. His lone victory came over Daugherty.

Lindsay Tucker is a submission specialist with a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He made his pro debut in the QFC arena where he submitted Ted Goat. His most recent bout was at UFC WNF 2 where he was stopped by Horacio Romeu Pinto.

(Lightweight Division) Steven Pittsford (2-1) versus Johny Boom (2-0)

Steven Pittsford is a BJJ blue belt with a little kickboxing to supplement his abilities. After defeating Koshi Yamawanka in the QFC arena, he faced Johnny Jett at UFC THF 1, submitting him I the opening round. Most recently he was submitted by BJJ brown belt Rodolfo Gracie at UnderGround FC 6.

Johny Boom is a BJJ brown belt with a little boxing that is used strictly for defense. Both of his professional fights have taken place in the QFC arena where he submitted both Jou Roukani and Rodrigo Augusto.

(Welterweight Division) Tao Pai (2-1) versus I Love You Man (1-0)

Tao Pai is a boxer and a BJJ blue belt. He has fought three times in the QFC arena with two great knockout victories and a submission loss to his credit. In his UFC debut he failed to make weight against Crazy Legs. This is likely his last fight as his manager hasn't logged on in early ten days.

I Love You Man is what I would be telling you if I didn't absolutely hate your naming scheme. Use regular names you damned homunculus. ILY Man is a young and talented Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt with great wrestling and the promise of potential on his feet as well. In his lone professional bout, he submitted Ed Ricoop in just one round. On the side he has competed as a middleweight and as a light-heavyweight in the TWGC 23 and TWGC 24 tournaments respectively.

(Bantamweight Division) Tomas Vincent (6-0) versus Joe Tromudo (1-2)

Tomas Vincent is a former amateur wrestler and BJJ purple belt. With six victories under his belt, Vincent is undefeated as an MMA fighter. In his four initial bouts, Vincent defeated his opponents within the QFC arena using top control and brutal ground n pound. In his UFC debut he defeated Joe Tromundo via unanimous decision. Most recently he faced fellow wrestler Timidus Campos, winning the bout via unanimous decision.

Joe Tromundo is a boxing stylist with a BJJ blue belt that he mostly uses for defense. All three of his professional bouts have taken place within the UFC. His pro debut came with a unanimous decision loss to future bantamweight champion UniConor Noble. The only other person to survive until the final bell against Noble was former bantamweight champion Tree Fortay. Tromundo is as tough and durable as they come, as Daiyan Jr Jesus Valdes found out when Tromundo knocked him out cold in the opening round.

[Main Card]

(Featherweight Division) AngelaDivine EscobarDelgado (0-0) versus Ky Tycoon (4-1)

AngelaDivine EscobarDelgado is reportedly a well rounded mixed martial artist with great wrestling and a BJJ blue belt. Not much is known about the abilities of EscobarDelgado as this is his pro debut. It's a little concerning that he is still training out of Cozad's gym.

Ky Tycoon is a fantastic wrestler with a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is the QFC Tournament 916 Featherweight Champion. In the tournament he defeated white belt Bo Bo, blue belt Tournament Hero, blue belt Lobo Saint Artem, and brown belt Kevyt Kaikkonnen to take home the gold. Immediately after he signed with UnderGround Fight Club, making his promotional debut against Kyle Kristian Galeos at UFC SNF 2. Unfortunately he would fall victim to a TKO loss with one second left in the second round.

(Lightweight Division) Khamid Osman Durnagoz (10-9) versus Liangchan Xiaodong (8-2)

Khamid Osman Durnagoz is a Muay Thai stylist and veteran of nineteen pro MMA bouts. The vast majority of his in-ring experience came in the QFC arena where he experienced very mixed results. Despite being classified as a Muay Thai kickboxer, all of his stoppage victories have come by way of submission so who knows what the hell is going on here? In his most recent bout, Durnagoz defeated Bernardo Suarez via split decision at UFC SNF 2.

Liangchan Xiaodong is also a Muay Thai stylist and also a longtime veteran of the QFC arena. Unlike his opponent he found great success in the QFC, scoring six victories in seven bouts before coming to the UnderGround Fight Club stage. Within the UFC he has defeated Hessu Kaito and Michael Greenwood but was stopped by Adrian Hunter in his most recent bout.

(Heavyweight Division) Henry Akinwande (2-0) versus Runny Hitter (1-1)

Henry Akinwande is a Greco Roman wrestling stylist that has adapted a fantastic boxing style to support himself. Undefeated in mixed martial arts, this nineteen year old prospect is heralded by many as the future of the UFC heavyweight division. He made his MMA debut at WPFC 2 under the Wolf Pack Fighting Championship banners in New York. There he faced future WPFC title challenger Guillame Ouelette. Akinwande would get dropped twice in the opening minute against Oulette but would turn it around in a big way when he clinched with the man against the cage. The remaining fourteen minutes of the fight all belonged to Henry Akinwande who pounded his opponent like he caught him in bed with his wife. In his most recent bout he faced another power wrestler named Wulfgar Beornegar at WPFC 5. This time Akinwande was forced to survive the early takedown success of Beornegar but once again came back to dominate the majority of the fight inside the clinch. What Akinwande seems to lack in knockout power he makes up for in pure durability; the man is a piece of iron that cannot be broken by the average man. This is his UnderGround FC debut and I'm sure that I'm not the only one excited to see what this young fighter's full potential looks like.

Runny Hitter is a power wrestler of a very similar build to that of Akinwande's last opponent. With a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, it's no secret that Hitter wants to submit you. He made his professional debut in the QFC arena where he submitted boxing stylist Sam Allen after rocking him with a big punching combination. In his UFC debut, Hitter was submitted by former title challenger and BJJ brown belt Fedor Mazepin.

[Co-Main Event]

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Jimbo Cricky (5-4) versus Oleksander Kurtzov (5-0)

Jimbo Cricky is a powerful wrestler that uses it purely for takedown defense to set up his boxing. He is a veteran of the ninth season of The Island where he competed in a couple of different promotions before participating in the finale tournament.

Jimbo made his debut on The Island in a QFC quick match where he faced fellow wrestler and future IFA light-heavyweight champion Phil Coleman. Jimbo would lose this fight in the opening round when Coleman obtained full mount and began dropping heavy ground n pound. Jimbo Cricky fought once for Alcatraz beatdown, facing off against Mike Potter. Similar to the Coleman fight, Cricky struggled when taken down and ultimately fell to GnP.

Next Jimbo Cricky signed with Island Vale Tudo, making his debut against Fausto Chiantone. Known for his Muay Thai skills, he found himself outmatched against Cricky on the feet. After stopping BJJ purple belt Tony Bony, Cricky faced BJJ purple belt and fearsome clinch fighter Jon Paul Carp. Cricky would ultimately fall due to strikes against the cage.

Jimbo Cricky participated in the finale tournament, knocking out fellow wrestler Mario Gallo before ultimately falling to Apolinario Mabini. Fresh from The Island, Cricky stopped Denis Kurlaev in the QFC arena before signing with UnderGround FC.

In his promotional debut, Jimbo Cricky faced Daana Wyte, defeating him via unanimous decision.

Oleksander Kurtzov is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt from the Ukraine. Undefeated in mixed martial arts, the majority of his fights took place within the QFC arena.

His first match was against fellow submission fighter Raadell Nicholson; it took Kurtzov all of twenty-five seconds to submit Nicholson. After similar results in fights against Christopher Carpenter, Charlie Potter, and Cattag Dogmock, Oleksander was ready for the big show. He signed with UnderGround Fight Club and made his debut at UFC FNF 1. His opponent was a heavy handed boxer by the name of Trying To Be Positive. Kurtzov made it look as easy as his past four bouts, submitting his opponent in the opening round.

[Main Event]

(Lightweight Division, Championship bout) Liberal Stomper© (8-0) versus Pax Africa (5-3)

Liberal Stomper© is a legitimate high level striker that is equal parts boxing and Muay Thai. He is the undefeated and undisputed lightweight champion of the UnderGround FC.

Liberal Stomper started his MMA career in the QFC arena where he faced Diarmuid Ua Duibhne, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt. Stomper dominated the short fight by way of stuffing his opponent's takedown attempts and picking his shots from the outside. Stomper then signed with FARTMMA where he competed as a welterweight, while he seemed to prefer fighting as a lightweight. In his FARTMMA debut, Liberal Stomper faced power wrestler Clint Eastwood. The fight would be a near identical replica of his match with Duibhne, leading to an early stoppage. Stomper would finalize his FARTMMA career with a pair of unanimous decision victories over Andy McCallum and Sticker Romano respectively.

Liberal Stomper next appeared in the UnderGround Fight Club. Back at his natural weight of 155, Stomper looked better than ever before. In his promotional debut he faced wrestler Edward Snowden; Stomper beat this man so badly that he wished he'd been off hiding in a foreign embassy like Assange. Following the Snowden bout, Liberal Stomper faced world class wrestler Islam Mamadaliev for the inaugural lightweight championship. Stomper would overcome early adversity as Mamadaliev took him down early and fought for submissions before the referee stood them up. Back on their feet, Stomper dropped Mamadaliev with a right hand, finishing with an overhand right shortly after.

Liberal Stomper's reign as the lightweight champion of the world started with Kreapy Krawlee, a BJJ brown belt. The fight would be one of the shortest in UFC championship history with Stomper knocking the grappler dead in just eighteen seconds.

Most recently Liberal Stomper faced BJJ brown belt Wee Lee Osman, stopping him with a flurry of strikes in forty-six seconds.

Pax Africa is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt and a true finisher. All five of his victories have come by way of first round stoppage.

He started his MMA career, as many did, in the QFC arena. After losing in back-to-back showings against Adam Test, the third time was the charm as Pax faced BJJ blue belt Fred Fisher, stopping him with ground and pound in the opening round. Pax took a one fight deal with Glory Fighting Championship of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. There he faced wrestler Karl Wilson, submitting him in the opening round. Back to being a free agent on the market, Pax Africa faced Ino Suzuki in the QFC arena. After giving up a takedown to Suzuki, Pax caught him in a triangle choke to force the tap.

Next Pax Africa signed with the Rapid Fighting Championship. His first fight came against a Conor McGregor clone that dominated Africa on the feet en route to a unanimous decision victory. He next faced Tex Lopez, a boxer making his MMA debut. Pax rocked Lopez on the feet, taking him down shortly after to finish the fight with ground n pound.

In his most recent bout, Pax Africa faced submission grappler Marcus Harris. Pax would go on to win the fight via brutal KO on the feet.

[undercard Bouts]

(Featherweight Division) Berklerk Pinsinchai (4-3) versus Killus Zoldyk (4-4)

Berklerk Pinsinchai is a Thai boxing specialist currently training out of Tokyo, Japan. This 25-year-old striker is a veteran of the QFC arena, with six of his professional fights taking place in the smaller show. After going undefeated across four bouts there, he went on an unfortunate two fight skid but both fights were against heavy handed destroyer Kyle Kristian Galeos. Following the second clash with Galeos, Pinsinchai signed with UnderGround Fight Club. In his most recent bout, Pinsinchai was submitted by former UFC title challenger Jay Brown.

Killua Zoldyk is a boxing stylist and a BJJ practitioner with a purple belt in the art. This Afghani brawler competed in the ninth season of The Island where he competed for the Alcatraz beatdown and Island Vale Tudo promotions. He started his career with three consecutive victories, two of which came via first round submission. He finished his Alcatraz beatdown tenure on a TKO loss to future kickboxing champion Tom Harris. Killua made two appearances in Island Vale Tudo but was defeated in back-to-back showings. He did not participate in the final Island tournament. Most recently, Killua signed with UnderGround FC where he knocked out Kyle Lane in just twenty-eight seconds.

(Super-Heavyweight Division) Jeremy Hallogen (1-0) versus Torq Bosley (5-1)

Jeremy Hallogen is a collegiate wrestler that has made the transition into mixed martial arts. He will stand and box with opponents but has found very little success with his hands thus far. His ground n pound is where he is most dangerous by far. In his lone pro MMA bout he faced BJJ blue belt Morgan Townsend in the QFC arena. Hallogen seemed to be on the wrong end of the striking exchanges before scoring a powerful takedown into mount. From there he dominated with brutal ground and pound until he knocked Townsend out cold.

Torq Bosley is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner with a purple belt in the art. He is also an accomplished wrestler. This German grappler challenged Total Badass for the inaugural super-heavyweight championship title earlier in his career. All six of his professional fights have taken place under the UFC banners with his lone defeat coming in the aforementioned title fight with Total Badass. In his most recent bout, Bosley smashed power puncher Kamen Kamenov, submitting him early in the opening round.

(Heavyweight Division) Lars Bullock (2-3) versus Bubba Hippo (3-1)

Lars Bullock is a freestyle wrestler and former amateur kickboxer from Sweden. All five of his professional MMA bouts have taken place within UnderGround FC. Capable of fighting on his feet or on the ground, Bullock is dangerous anywhere the fight may go.

Bubba Hippo is a newcomer to the UFC heavyweight division. This hard hitting boxer hails from Hilo, Hawaii where he trains in the not-so-luxurious Cozad's gym. All four of his professional bouts have taken place in the QFC, where he had a reputation for his devastating power.

(Heavyweight Division) Rowan Bell (4-1) versus Horacio Romeu Pinto (4-2)

Rowan Bell is a freestyle wrestler and BJJ blue belt. Despite his inexperience on his feet, Bell loves to brawl with opponents and only grapples when forced to do so. Rowan Bell won back-to-back fights in the QFC arena before signing with UnderGround Fight Club. In his promotional debut he knocked out Big Brown with a big knee from the clinch. Although he was stopped by fellow undefeated fighter Maximus Rocca, he rebounded with a decision win over Lars Bullock.

Horacio Romeu Pinto is a BJJ blue belt that is, on paper at least, very similar to his opponent here. Both men are skilled grapplers that throw a variety of strikes despite not being that skilled on their feet. Pinto focuses more heavily on his grappling however. After making his pro debut besting Bred Ast in the QFC, Pinto began fighting within the UFC cage. After submitting Efe Ajagba The Nigerian, he lost his next fight which was against future legendary UFC champion and former FARTMMA champion Fray Tormenta. Next he was defeated by perennial top contender John Daugherty. Since then, however, Pinto has defeated Syd The Scorpion and Lindsay Tucker.

(Bantamweight Division) Cho Ba (3-0) versus Timidus Campos (6-2)

Cho Ba is a former freestyle wrestler that is undefeated as a mixed martial artist. Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Cho Ba is a tenacious submission grappler with powerful takedowns. He made his pro debut against Hunter Goethals under the Unchained MMA banner before taking time away to train. He returned for back-to-back victories in the QFC arena before signing with UnderGround Fight Club.

Timidus Campos is a power wrestler and devastating ground and pound stylist with a purple belt in BJJ. His Jiu-Jitsu is strictly a defensive measure meant to protect him from submissions on the ground. Campos went undefeated across five professional bouts in the QFC arena before being paired up with a fucking BJJ red belt named Masakazu Aoki. If you ever wanted a reason to stay the hell out of the QFC past a low level debut test fight, here it is. Most recently, Campos has fought twice under the UFC banner with a stoppage victory over Raphael Firenzi and a decision loss to Tomas Vincent.

[Main Card]

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Suzuki Sakurai (1-1) versus Over Power (2-2)

Suzuki Sakurai is a Muay Thai stylist from Tokyo, Japan. This promotional newcomer has competed twice within the QFC arena where he scored one victory and suffered one defeat. In his MMA debut he was paired up with Greco Roman stylist John Anderson that stopped Sakurai due to the severity of a cut suffered via dirty boxing. In his second pro fight, Sakurai faced winless Muay Thai stylist Bill Blatt. Sakurai dominated this fight en route to stopping Blatt with power punches against the cage.

Over Power is a Greco Roman wrestling stylist with all four of his pro MMA bouts taking place within the UFC arena. He made his fighting debut at UnderGround FC 1 where he faced power wrestler Lee Brown. Power gave up an early takedown to Brown who landed short range punches before scoring a fight ending kimura midway through the opening round. Next Power faced boxer-grappler Don Vigo who quickly wilted in the clinch. Power faced BJJ black belt Spanky Loco next, but Loco proved to be too much, knocking Power out with a brutal head kick.

Most recently, Over Power faced blue belt brawler Milos Petrasek where he would go on to drop Petrasek three times in the opening round before knocking him out cold.

In this fight we have a man that hates clinch fighting against a power clinch fighter. I expect Over Power to live up to his name here.

(Featherweight Division) Shiro Tanaka (3-1) versus John Michael Benitoy (2-1)

Hailing from Kanazawa, Japan, Shiro Tanaka is the former UnderGround Fight Club featherweight champion of the world. As a champion he recorded a successful title defense, which is a feat in this young promotion. He is a Muay Thai kickboxer and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt. All four of his professional bouts have taken place in the UFC cage.

He made his professional debut at UnderGround FC 1 where he faced BJJ blue belt Ho Hek. Tanaka dominated the fight from inside the clinch from the early goings, battering Hek with short punches against the cage. When Hek scored a takedown into guard, Tanaka quickly locked in a fight ending guillotine choke. Next Tanaka faced BJJ brown belt Jay Brown for the inaugural featherweight championship. Tanaka managed to survive the few bouts of grappling against Brown and go on to dominate in the clinch, awarding him the decision and the title. Tanaka made a successful title defense against undefeated BJJ blue belt Roman Bell.

In his most recent bout, Shiro Tanaka made an unsuccessful title defense against heavy handed kickboxer Reginald Budgiehandler. The entirety of the fight took place in the clinch with both fighters landing shots against the cage. After getting the better of the clinch fighting, Budgiehandler dropped Tanaka with a big right hand and then stopped him on another shot.

John Michael Benitoy is a Filipino wrestling stylist with a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blue belt. Undefeated throughout his brief tenure within the QFC arena, Benitoy promises to be a powerhouse within the UFC featherweight division.

John made his MMA debut in the QFC where he faced BJJ practitioner Hamish Davies. The opening two rounds of the fight saw Benitoy playing a little game that I call “catch and release”: you obtain the clinch position and give it up. You score a takedown and then stand up. It isn't a good strategy in most cases but it happens frequently. Regardless of the validity of his game plan, Benitoy stopped Davies with ground and pound in the third round. Next he faced Hans Christian Anderson, a Muay Thai practitioner from Denmark. The game plan from Benitoy felt a bit more refined as he would obtain a position and stick with it. After attempting a pair of submissions in the second round, Benitoy stopped Anderson with heavy ground n pound from guard.

In his most recent bout, John Benitoy faced undefeated boxing juggernaut Joe Smith at UFC WNF 2. Unlike previous opponents, Smith was able to score an immediate standup and begin landing heavy punches from the outside. Each time that Benitoy attempted to close the distance between them, Smith would make him pay with a furious barrage of heavy leather. Benitoy nearly went down on a counter right hand but managed to stay on his feet for another minute before dropping to a relentless series of punches against the cage.

In this fight we have the striking and submission prowess of Shiro Tanaka against the power wrestling of Benitoy. Tanaka's big weakness seems to be his wrestling ability which is where Benitoy shines, but Tanaka is dangerous on the ground as well. If I had to pick one I would give a slight edge to Tanaka but that's assuming that he can submit Benitoy before the elbows start dropping on him.

(Middleweight Division) Yewis Mybitch (8-4) versus Rory Andler (2-1)

Yewis Mybitch is a hard hitting brawler with a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. A veteran of twelve pro fights, Mybitch has fought all but two of his bouts within the QFC arena. Yewis defeated his first three opponents from inside the clinch, stopping his foes against the cage with heavy punches. In his fourth fight, his opponent Darnell Jackson managed to stay on the outside to avoid clinching. It was no big problem for Mybitch, who stopped Jackson with superior boxing. After stopping John Hardin with dirty boxing, Yewis Mybitch faced submission wrestler Oleg Liguy. Mybitch would face defeat for the first time as Liguy took him down and knocked him out cold with ground n pound.

Despite having suffered his first loss, Yewis Mybitch signed with Destructive Striking Championship. In his DSC debut, he faced durable grappler Lucien Lachance. The fight would take place mostly on the ground with Lachace taking home the judge's decision. Next Mybitch faced another strong grappler in Ace Ventura. The opening two rounds of the fight were a near perfect replica of the Lachance bout, but Mybitch managed to come back stronger in the third round. Too little, too late; Ventura won the unanimous decision. With three consecutive losses on his record, Yewis Mybitch parted ways with the DSC promotion.

Mybitch decided to return to his roots by fighting in the QFC once again. Unfortunately this would pair him up with world class striker and well rounded fighter Hossein Vaziri. The fight only lasted thirty-one seconds with Mybitch being stopped for the second time in what was now a four fight losing skid. Fortunately for Mybitch, he was paired up with subpar grappler James Johnson three times in a row so he was able to end his losing streak, rebuild his confidence, and give Johnson early signs of CTE with three first round knockouts in sixteen days.

Rory Andler is a kickboxer with a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This relative newcomer to the sport of MMA has competed in the UFC and QFC to mixed results.

He started his MMA career with a QFC match against Rob Brooks. Andler dominated Brooks from inside the clinch, bringing home a lopsided unanimous decision victory. Next he faced BJJ blue belt Raymundo Talley. In a near perfect recreation of his debut performance, Andler dominated from inside the clinch before stopping Talley with a big knee and followup punches against the cage. In his first fight with the UFC, Andler faced Muay Thai striker Benchamek Sitsopirang. Oh did I call him a Muay Thai stylist? Silly me for reading his primaries, Sitsopirang threw less than half a dozen strikes on his feet, opting to wrestlefuck his way to a decision victory over Andler.

In this fight I believe we will see a pure clinch battle with both guys hammering shots. It would appear that Andler has a better chin but less stopping power which would indicate a likely decision win for him. Mybitch has an unfortunate name and serious power however so anything is possible. Still with the short rounds of the UFC, I give this one to Andler via decision.

[Co-Main Event]

(Featherweight Division) Jay Brown (6-2) versus Joe Smith (4-0)

Jay Brown is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt, a world class submission artist, and former UnderGround FC title challenger. Before his UFC tenure began he reached the finals of a QFC tournament.

Hwe started his career in the QFC 887 Featherweight Tournament. He came across as just another eighteen year old BJJ fighter with nothing special to credit him with. After giving up a takedown to his debuting opponent, Chang Luann, he immediately locked in the fight ending triangle choke. Brown turned around with another easy victory over fellow submission fighter Roberto Medina. After making short work of Joe Bean, Brown faced Darrel Shane in the final round of the tourney. Shane, as it turned out, had serious power in his hands; he used this power to shut off the lights for Jay Brown.

You can tell a lot about a fighter by the way that he handles a big KO loss. Does he turtle up and hide from the world or get back on his feet and keep winning? Jay Brown did the latter; he made his debut in the big shows at UnderGround FC 1. His opponent was Marlin Scars, a submission fighter. Brown submitted Scars in the opening round. Next he faced Shiro Tanaka for the inaugural featherweight championship title. After scoring an early takedown, Brown began to struggle with the strength and clinchwork of Tanaka who would walk away with the unanimous decision and the title.

Joe Smith is a heavy handed boxing phenom and undefeated mixed martial arts sensation. Known as the Mike Tyson of the UFC featherweight division, Smith has stopped three of his four opponents within the first half of the very first round of their fights.

Joe Smith started his journey through the world of mixed martial arts fighting for the Rapid Fighting Championship of Sydney, Australia. It was there that he faced Jiu-Jitsu brown belt and undefeated fighter Alexmuria Bagueraiu. Smith went to work early with his soon to be patented power punches and it became obvious immediately that Bagueraiu couldn't take his punches for long. Each strike sent a shockwave of despair through the victim's face. In less time than it takes to heat up a Stouffer's TV dinner, Alexmuria Bagueraiu was out cold with curled toes and shattered dreams. Smith returned for RFC Aloha Hawaii 3 which took place in Hilo, Hawaii. His dance partner for this ballet of brutality was Mander Dell Palmer, another undefeated BJJ brown belt predicted to be a great. Smith guarateed that this would not be possible. Smith was a hammer and Palmer was the nail for fifty-two short seconds. The referee barely got out of the way before Smith began clubbing Palmer like a newborn seal pup. Joe Smith walked away with knockout of the night honors while the paramedics bagged his opponent up in the cage.

As a freshly free agent, Joe Smith next signed with UnderGround Fight Club. He made his promotional debut at UFC WNF 1 where he faced undefeated Jiu-Jitsu purple belt John Hogan. The big selling point for Joe Smith was that he brought an early fury that crushed opponents before they had a chance to get started. Smith delivered on his campaign promises, beating Hogan like literally anybody that has played chess against me has beaten me. Yes, I'm running out of metaphors, sue me. Joe Smith crashed into Hogan like a tidal wave and nearly finished him in the final seconds of the opening round. Hogan survived the early crisis and somehow made it through the second round without getting body bagged but he really only delayed the inevitable: early in the third round, Smith picked up the heat, knocking Hogan out cold.

In his most recent appearance, Joe Smith faced undefeated power wrestler and BJJ blue belt John Michael Benitoy. Smith would be taken down in the opening seconds of the match, facing true adversity for the first time in his career. He would immediately jump back to his feet however, so take the word “adversity” with a massive grain of salt here. From there it was all Joe Smith who spanked Benitoy like he was answering a Craigslist ad request. God I'm so sorry for that one.

In this fight we have Joe Smith facing another confident, dangerous pure grappler which is what he has made a career around defeating. Jay Brown is tough, experienced, and has a decently large name within the organization so this is a great opponent to elevate Smith if he can win it. I give this one to Joe Smith via early stoppage.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20190401234215Belt3.jpg(Welterweight Division, Championship bout) Sivile Gonya© (5-1) versus Guido Turturro (8-1)

Sivile Gonya© is the undisputed UnderGround FC Welterweight Champion of the World. He is a veteran of the Quick Fight Championship, the GET REKT promotion, the Rapid Fighting Championship, and the UnderGround Fight Club. He comes in to this fight riding a five fight winning streak. He is a Muay Thai stylist and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt that has shown comfort fighting on his feet, in the clinch, and on the ground. Although he is most comfortable pressing opponents against the cage, working their body with knees.

Sivile made his MMA debut in the QFC arena where he faced catch wrestler Finn Mann. New to the art of grappling, Gonya struggled to survive the ground game of Mann, who worked him over en route to a unanimous decision victory. Not one to be put off by a setback, Sivile Gonya took time away from fighting to train up his ground game to match his striking abilities. He returned to the cage at GR 12 under the GET REKT banners. There he faced world class kickboxer William Bonin. Gonya put his newfound grappling to work in this fight dominating the opening round with his Jiu-Jitsu. After nearly being finished in the opening seconds of the third round, Gonya managed to clinch and score a takedown into half guard; from there he pounded Bonin until he was able to steal a fight ending kimura submission. Gonya next faced William Emkimp at RFC Aloha Hawaii. Emkimp was known for his kickboxing so Gonya dominated him in the clinch, winning a very one-sided unanimous decision.

Next Sivile signed with the UnderGround Fight Club; he made his promotional debut at Monday Night Fights where he faced BJJ brown belt Mike Tantalau. Sivile kept the fight entirely on the outside, hammering Tantalau with power punches before stopping him with a big flurry early in the opening round.

Sivile Gonya faced fellow Muay Thai standout Monte Goglin at UFC MNF 1 for the inaugural UFC Welterweight Championship title. The two strikers would take turns winning the first four rounds with Gonya comfortably winning the fifth and final round to become the first welterweight champion of the UnderGround Fight Club.

For his first title defense, Sivile Gonya faced undefeated BJJ brown belt Divanei Silva. The fight was expected to be a deep and long war with Silva giving Gonya a real challege on the ground. It would be over in just eighteen seconds as Gonya would catch Silva early and stop him with a few big shots in the opening seconds.

Guido Turturro is the former Rapid Fighting Championship Welterweight Champion. With only one defeat in his impressive nine fight career, it is easy to undertand why Tuturro is such a tremendous fan favorite coming into thi fight. He has won five “of the night” awards across multiple promotions including four “submission of the night”s. He has fought for the QFC, FARTMMA, and RFC promotions before finding his way into the UFC. Guido Tuturro is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt that makes no secret about what he plans to do to you in your fight with him. Everyone knows what he's going to do and almost nobody can stop him from doing it.

Guido Turturro made his MMA debut, as so many have before him, in the QFC arena where he faced world class Muay Thai striker Seamus Coleman. As elite as his opponent may have been, you wouldn't have known it from how quickly Turturro clinched, pulled guard, and submitted the man. Turturro turned around with another quick victory, this time over Jaleel Guy, a Canadian brawler in the FARTMMA promotion. Same strategy, same outcome: clinch, pull guard, destroy. He next faced a power wrestler by the name of Sticker Romano who swore that their fight would end differently... but he was wrong. Romano took him down and was submitted in seconds.

With two Farts behind him, Guido Turturro signed with the RFC promotion. He made his debut there against BJJ blue belt Haisu Kulli. This would prove to be the longest fight in Turturro's career, going into the second round before his opponent was tapping out. Turturro's destruction of BJJ blue belt Haka Tonga was reminiscent of his early demolitions over Coleman, Guy, and Romano.

At RapidFC 20, Guido Turturro faced reigning welterweight champion Michael Swango for the RFC welterweight championship. Swango was no slouch himself; a high level Muay Thai kickboxer that was attempting to make his third consecutive title defense. Turturro dominated Swango from the opening belt to the final tap, controlling him with wrestling while working towards the inevitable submission victory. Turturro attempted to defend the title at RFC Showdown in Tokyo 5 against world class wrestler and fellow BJJ brown belt Serhey Rishkinov. A former champion in his last promotion, Rishkinov proved to be the greatest challenge of Turturro's career. The two traded submission attempts and positional exchanges for three rounds with the wrestling of Rishkinov proving to be too much for the champion. In the opening seconds of the fourth round, a visibly exhausted Turturro got caught with a big punch reaching in to clinch. The champion stayed on his feet but would go down on a big right hand, costing him the title.

Looking to rebound in a big way, Guido Turturro turned around with a fight over Bung Popper. The former champion clinched and controlled Popper before taking him down and submitting him late in the opening round. The bout would be Turturro's last one with RFC. The former champion found himself a free agent looking to revitilize hi career. He signed with UnderGround FC not long after the Popper fight.

Guido Turturro's most recent bout came at UnderGround FC 6 against catch wrestler and BJJ blue belt Marin Ivanov. The former champion made a big splash upon jumping into the deep end, submitting Ivanov with a first round armbar to stake his claim as the top contender in the UFC welterweight division.
