  1. Ummmm, I THOROUGHLY enjoy this idea. There should be a couple drawbacks though, like when you get off the roids your energy recovers at half or third speed for a couple weeks. Also maybe shortens a career. IDK but there has to be some kind of short term physical penalty once you gett off the roids lol. Also, it would be cool if they were legal or non tested in Russia and Japan, I just like the idea of calling out fighter names as cheaters like we would with Overeem, Arona, and some of those guys. Roids could be like the woner supplement, increase strength, speed, cardio, and weight, but take heavy short term repercussions if caught or stop using them. Pure awesomeness.
  2. I think it works out nicely. But I will be pissed if my fighter ages sometime soon if you're going to have to do that because he JUST turned 19. And as far as training I like the way it works now because we're all going to end up with pretty much a level playing field aside from a tick here or there on the skill set. Once people get to strong plus on all 4 stats there's not much of a change per pop.
  3. Uhh.... When my guys accumulate 2 losses and under 5 wins I usually sack them lol. There's no reason to lose against QFC competition more than once unless you or your fighter sucks. Period. I will sack as many as I damn well please untill I have none but amazing fighters hidden stat wise. I have a 6-3 guy and his stats are pretty damn good, he's about to get cut. I cut my 3-1 fighter Sikh Ravana. Same with 3-1 Tigo Souza. If they're not outstanding, they're dirt. I might cut 5-1 Andelko Antun here if he won't impress.
  4. They don't score the power punches, you're just wording it wrong. Clean punches that connect with force, that could even be a stiff jab if it's accurate and looks like it's effective. It's all phrasing, but a noob won't know what the hell you mean when you say power punches and they watch a fight scored in an amature style. I don't like it personally, kinda a downfall of boxing when they converted and the amatures had no idea how to fight pro lol, but power means nothing. A knockdown counts no more than a stiff clean jab.
  5. yeah, maybe retire guys with 500 or below records. I think that would do it along with the fast hire thing going on.
  6. Passive tactics play a large role. GnP rarely finishes fights and if you GnP spam you're unlikely to win.
  7. I don't think 5x5 is any better ratingswise than 3x5 right? So if there might be an individual rating based on what the audience of the PPV sees added on to the rating of the entire show, (Guessing) Wouldn't it make sense to just put 3x5? 5x5 is possible to ruin the show whereas 3x5 is GUARRENTEED NOT to wreck the rating.
  8. very few excellant clinchers dominate in the clinch, it's basically a big scramble. Out of 50 or so fights I've had, win or lose, only one ever ended by strikes inside the clinch. But really, look at Hendo, Couture, Lindland, Karo, Aoki, Anderson (who only really dominated 2 fights with the thai clinch ever), those guys don't finish you from a clinch, they control and grind you down (exception of the thai clinch, which damages but has shitty control for the most part). And look at how much damage and time was spent in the clinch during Frye Takayama before Takayama actually got knocked out.
  9. Yay Rodey, and somehow got a decent amount of hype from an 0-0 fighter.
  10. Well, if one thing's for sure it's that they need to change the rules to stopping the fight if someone clearly can't defend themselves from (DAMAGE) lol seriously. It's the same shit that happened with Kimbo vs Colossus. I guess now days a knock down is clearly a knock out, there are technical submissions, and if you get layed on and love tapped on the hardest part of your head it's a knockout. Damn.
