We are based in hilo where it seemed all but dead. Now I know location is off so it doesn't really matter however it would be really cool to have hilo born champions in the following startup tournament:

We plan to keep it small so maybe 12 fighters each division and I have this idea.

They will be no training divisions with it being a tournament for the belt.

After said tournament if a champion has 3 successful title defenses then they can opt to challenge for a second belt and so on.

We are looking forward to our first event and it would be awesome if our main event fight consists of 2 people both with hype pop 75+.

If anyone is interested please pm me to work out details.

Key detail: as I doubt the fighter ID would fit with our standard recruitment for divisions this fight would be in the 265+ division so can be any ID as it is closed for regular recruitment

MMA Minute:

William Wright: I'm here with Billy Wilson talking about his upcoming fight with Nate DeBramalo. What do you think of your opponent?

Billy Wilson: Well we are two young guys. So I don't know much about him, but we were both highly accomplished high school wrestlers. I won my state in high school and placed 4th nationally just missing medaling. So I think my wrestling is probably going to be a little bit better than his actually, but if I remember reading an article right he got into a fight at the finals of his state match and was disqualified. So I think he is probably the better fighter though.

Wright: How do you see your match going?

Wilson: Honestly he is very talented and we are pretty even. So I think it's going to come down to who can impose their will more. He is a tough guy and I would never take anything away from him. I am just hoping to put on a good show for the fans.

Wright: We have heard that DeBramalo has already declared his victory on 99.1 KWNY. Got any words for him on that?

Wilson: I think I feel like you are trying to stir some animosity up here, but I have no ill will towards my opponent. I simply have a job to do. My job is to go out there and get the win. It's not going to be easy to do, but there is no thing as a sure thing. That's why we have fights.

Wright: If DeBramalo is listening is there anything you would like to say to him.

Wilson: I know you got a great camp you are training at over there at The Air Fryer, train hard, and let's put on a good show for these fans that buy some tickets.

Wright: There you have it folks. That wraps up this episode of MMA Minute and a world class act interview with Billy Wilson.
