"Golden claws, won't miss this chance because my opponent didn't sign the contract. Bob of Legend, sign it or refuse it. I'm always ready to go. In Senegal you don't get to chose who or when you fight. The org should find me a new opponent, my current one is too scared to respond."

IRON WOLF FULL MOON FACE OFF #1:

Good evening ladies and gentlemen to the first ever Iron Wolf Full Moon Face Off we’re here tonight with our main commentators, long time MMA enthusiast, BJJ Black belt, Beau Hogan as well as Ethan “E.C.” Commissaire, former Olympic Gold medalist in Wrestling, Skiing, Curling, and Sambo, as well as avid consumer of fried chicken products, they are joined by CEO of Iron Wolf, Mattias Lundgren. Going to the tale of the tape, take it away Mattias!

Undercard Bout 1:

Alexei “Peresekat” Rodionovich (2-3-0) vs Makhmud “Mach” Muradov

Mattias Lundgren: Starting off the night we have Rodionovich vs Muradov Alexei started with a promising career in the amateur scene going 2-1 before back to back losses via TKO and most recently a decision loss to Rammaru Nokkau, Muradov comes to this bout with an 0-3 record having with 3 straight round one ko’s, hopefully something in the big arena ignites passion and charges him out of this slump. Both fighters stand similar heights and weights with Muradov being two years senior.

Beau Hogan: Alexei’s still a young kid but already racking up experience, that beginning career says there’s some merit and hopefully he can shake off the jitters from the losses but it’s to be expected this kid is 18 and suddenly in the pro league fighting one of the upper ranked in his division followed by an exceptional wrestler. I can’t fault Muradov either when both of his opponents were vastly older than him by over five years, that’s a lot of time in training and awareness that’s crucial to this game that the younger kids will have a tougher time.

Ethan “E.C.” Commissaire: That’s a great point Beau, the level of opponent was probably on a tier they both weren’t ready for yet hopefully the two of them come in recharged with fresh clothes, fresh minds, and razor focus. This win is one that will most likely decide who goes on and who goes home because it’s tough to lose in one of the biggest venues early in your career and save face. Both fighters also seem to have taken a mixed approach which overall may work to their detriment because sometimes it’s better to be great at one thing than mediocre at four but we’ll see whose heart is really in the game.

Predictions:

Beau: I’m gonna have to give it to Rodionovich, I think those jitters will go away and Muradov’s chin will give out in the first round, he’s the more seasoned fighter despite being younger and his last fight went the distance though he underperformed, this will no doubt be an important fight for him.

E.C.: I’m going to have to agree with that, even though his record is lackluster Muradov still hasn’t left round one and each time he’s been viciously ko’d I don’t think he has a chin for this game but we could always be wrong!

Undercard Bout 2:

Peter “Spiderman” Parker (2-2-0) Vs. Slenzy Johnson (0-1-0)

Mattias Lundgren: Next up we have Parker vs Johnson, Parker coming off back to back losses as well after 2 losses both to Juan De Sol by TKO, with a promising career in the amateur world as a submission specialist, Johnson comes as a more mixed background specializing in boxing but off a brutally short 13 second ko in his one and only fight. Johnson has a 7 cm height advantage while both fighters being a similar age, with Parker being 4 years Johnson’s senior.

Beau Hogan: Two disappointing losses for Parker but again another fighter out of their element, he’s a BJJ Brown Belt and has the age under his belt, he may have back to back losses but both were to Juan De Sol who is hands down one of the best Muay Thai fighters in the league, when fighting more mixed fighters, like Johnson, he’s been in his element and been able to put that Jitsu to work.

E.C.: There’s definitely something towards focusing and I think it’s going to work both ways Parker has his BJJ and grappling skills but Johnson has a tough chin inspite of the KO and some pretty decent boxing skills, let’s hope that he spent some time building up those defensive skills.

Predictions:

Beau: I’m gonna have to go with Parker on this one, this is just the type of opponent he’s trained for and he’s got the grappling skills to back it up, I’m going to go with a Round 2 Submission

  1. C.: I’m going the opposite way, I think that Johnson’s got the strong boxing that may just be Parker’s kryptonite I’m going to go with a round 3 decision in Johnson’s favor to box him out just long enough to clinch the win.

Undercard Bout 3

Kamalu Nokkau (1-1-0) vs Valdis “Prezis” Zatlers (1-2-0)

Mattias Lundgren: Nokkau enters this fight on a recent KO victory over Rain Can an excellent boxer with huge power, his opponent Zatlers is a MMA fighter coming off a recent loss to tonight’s title contender Burger Boy Farva. Both fighters are the max weight for this class at 265 with Zatler’s having a domineering 14 cm height difference as well as an eight year age difference.

Beau Hogan: I’m actually really excited for this one, look at these guys they’re two massive fighters’ true giants among men it’s going to be like watching two bears fight. Nokkau’s proven himself to have that KO power that’s needed for boxers and at the same time Zatler’s first fight was a loss that is still contested with how close it was that the follow up rematch where he one in the Hail Mary seconds may demand a trilogy. His loss to Farva was probably a blow to his confidence but Farva is a top tier fighter which we’ll talk about more later considering he’s up for a title tonight.

E.C.: I’ve got to hand it to the Nokkau family, to get two fighters in the pro league at the same time there’s gotta be something in that Senegal water that made these two monster fighters. Zatlers is a beast as well even though I’m sure I could outwrestle him if I had to, again here we go with an exceptional boxer vs a MMA fighter, will those punches be enough for Nokkau or will those mixed skills help Zatler’s clinch the victory.

Predictions:

Beau Hogan: This one should be Nokkau, he’s still young and definitely needs to work on those grappling skills if he’s to contend with the wrestlers in the top 5 but he’s quick, tough, and I think is going to clinch a KO victory over his opponent, while Valdis is a bear that’s a bit TOO much, those limbs are easier to get a hold of and swat away sometimes where Nokkau in his shorter frame will probably generate significantly more power like a Mike Tyson type animal.

  1. C.: I don’t know about that Beau, Zatlers should have the height advantage that will make getting into range tough for Nokkau, and if there’s one thing we learned about ground fighting it’s that your power is drastically reduced when you can’t generate that power from the hips. This will definitely be an interesting one but I think that if Zatler’s wraps up Nokkau there’s no chance he’ll be able to get up and use that power and don’t forget that Zatler’s has the Muay Thai competency too, if he can keep Nokkau away with the incredible distance his legs can cover he’ll totally nullify him.

Undercard Bout 4:

Juro Fujimoto (1-2-0) Vs. Dom “Dong” Walsh (1-2-0)

Mattias Lundgren: Fujimoto an MMA fighter enters this bout off a recent unanimous decision win against Reece Foy, Walsh’s teammate under manager Bobby Baccala, Walsh also an MMA fighter is coming off two losses most recently to top contender Bob of Legend, both fighters are within a few pounds of each other and one year of age, but Fujimoto has a massive thirty five centimeter height advantage over his competitor.

Beau Hogan: It’s kind of weird seeing someone so tall stretched so thin, I think Fujimoto got run over by a steamroller when he was a stout teenager! He’s definitely got some skills in both striking and wrestling and his fights seem to go the distance he should be an impressive competitor even if the record doesn’t show it so much. Walsh we haven’t seen what he’s really capable of so far his first victory was awesome but then fighting his own teammate would be tough because where does sparring end in the proworld? With his most recent loss a blow to his morale especially when he has to watch Bob of Legend fight on the main card later that evening.

E.C.: Walsh seems to be the more mixed fighter while Fujimoto spent more time focusing on wrestling and Muay Thai, I think the big thing in this fight is going to be the confidence level though, despite the win last event Fujimoto seems to be in a slump of depression, let’s hope he cheers up by the fight night considering this will be the biggest moment in his career thus far.

Predictions:

Beau Hogan: Fujimoto’s height should play into this incredibly if he can keep the distance and out strike Walsh it should be a great fight with a split decision to his favor, considering he just beat his teammate it would seem he may even have a look into the tools of his trade so to speak.

E.C.: I stand by my statement about confidence here, if Fujimoto stays down low like he was when I saw him I just don’t see him having the fight in him to last, have to remember it’s not all physical this is also a very mental game!

Undercard Bout 5:

Frank “The Executioner” Mack (4-0-0) Vs. Kiso “Tanku” Akinaga (4-2-0)

Mattias Lundgren: Mack enters this bout on a 4 fight win streak, an MMA fighter he’s proven himself time and time again to be able to handle both standup and ground work, his opponent Akinaga is coming off a recent KO victory with a solid record of either knocking out his opponents or getting knocked out himself. Both fighters are similar weight with Mack being seven years senior to Akinaga but Akinaga having a seven centimeter height difference.

Beau Hogan: I have to say Mattias, the fact these two guys are on the undercard is criminal, they are clearly among the best and I could see either one of them being up for that title tonight based on their current records, and if not one of these guys most definitely will be by the next one.

E.C.: I’m staying out of this one boys, I like to keep my paychecks ha-ha!

Mattias Lundgren: It was a tough call but Farva proved himself equally to Mack when entering this league and you can’t deny Williams streak, it’s also about who’s drawing we need to sell those tickets but let’s see how tonight goes.

Beau Hogan: Well I hope that really comes into play because these two guys are main eventers if I’ve seen of any in the league and really think you should consider by the merit of the fighter and less about the sales.

Mattias Lundgren: Sure then we can cut those lost sales from your pay.

Beau Hogan: Hey let’s not get crazy now!

E.C.: Couldn’t agree more Beau, but don’t forget how stacked this card is, they’re just barely off the main card and I’m sure whichever fighter makes it tonight will find themselves in a top three spot shortly after.

Predictions:

Beau: I think Mack’s going to come out on top on this one, he’s currently on fire, has the striking ability and can hold himself on the ground and again you can’t compare the experience that comes with age, Akinaga’s a competent wrestler but it looks like he’s focused on a striking game at the moment I see this one going the distance but unanimously going to Mack.

E.C.: This fight may actually wind up being a draw both of these fighters are seasoned and both are have skills to negate the other’s strengths and vice versa although I will admit that Akinaga is fairly young, it’s almost like watching shadow fighters against each other. I’m leaning a bit toward Mack’s victory but I’m going to be the outlier and say a draw on this one.

Main Event Bout 5:

Bob of Legend (3-0-0) Vs Rammaru Nokkau (1-1-0)

Mattias Lundgren: Bob of Legend comes to this bout on a 3 fight win streak, a MMA fighter with a BJJ specialty he’s proven exceptional at his craft with 3 straight submission victories, Nokkau comes off a 1-1 fight with both decision wins and losses but an exceptional level of wrestling skill. Both fighters are similar height with Nokkau being 5 pounds heavier but Bob being 8 years his senior.

Beau Hogan: Bob has proven himself in King of Fighters with his solid record, although he’s trained equally in different styles he seems to prefer making the opponent tap also with some of the best confidence I’ve seen stepping into the ring you can feel it when the dude walks in the room that he knows who he is and what he’s coming to do. Nokkau though isn’t a quitter and is a top tier wrestler I imagine this is going to be a long haul fight which could potentially lead to a title shot for Bob if he wins.

E.C.: Absolutely when you have a guy focused on BJJ vs a World Class wrestler you can expect this fight to take a while to go to the ground and stay down there for a huge amount of time which is how I see this one going, I don’t think there will be much stand up but maybe we’ll see a side of Bob that he’s keeping in the vault.

Prediction:

E.C.: I’m going to have to say it’ll be split decision for Bob’s favor, he’s proven his skills in grappling to contest with a wrestler but also has some boxing and muay thai skill to keep his opponent at bay and wrack up the points for each round, it also helps there is such a huge age advantage for him while Nokkau is still young and wet behind the years but I think will defend himself well.

Beau Hogan: 100% I think both fighters will go the distance on this one but I don’t think Nokkau’s superior wrestling will be enough to clinch the victory on this one especially if he can’t land the takedowns he needs when his fighter is pretty crafty himself.

Main Event Bout 4:

Musan Zaintashara (3-0-0) Vs. Reece “Left Shoe” Foy (2-1-0)

Mattias Lundgren: Zaintashara, an MMA fighter comes into this bout with an undefeated 3-0 record including one TKO of the night award using a mix of both submission techniques and technical striking, his opponent Foy also a MMA fighter enters off a recent decision loss, Zaintashara has a sizable 13 cm height advantage and 10lbs heavier, Foy is six years his senior.

Beau Hogan: Here we start to open up the night and I really have to wonder which way this one is going to go, Zaintashara has shown that he can get the hooks in and strike with the best of them considering he hasn’t even left round one yet but on the other hand Foy has proven that he can hold up through the pain with both of his last fights going to decision. At the very least we should get to see Zaintashara’s cardio tested here and word from the top this fight may just put him in title contention.

E.C.: I’ve been watching Zaintashara for a while now since his first fight against Lale Oles and while some people may find it boring which we saw he mixed up with a TKO the next fight, there’s no denying his focus, but let’s not rule out Foy he proved that he has the technical submission abilities as well in his first fight, and that endurance you mentioned to go three rounds especially when fighting against your own teammate in one of them that has to be the hardest thing to do mentally.

Predictions:

E.C.: This should be a straight up ground battle, I’m expecting to see multiple takedowns and we’ll see less of a standup fight and really see who’s going to be able to endure the other long enough with my bets on Foy as there’s just a slight bit more of wrestling in his background and I’ve got to give it to my fellow wrestlers!

Beau Hogan: These two fighters are pretty evenly matched from what we’ve seen so far, and while Foy has probably refined his skills a bit more I’m going to give it to Zaintashara and feel this is going to be another TKO victory for him, considering Foy’s recent loss took a hit to his morale I’d imagine it’s going to leave him open to mistakes and see him running face first into a fist trying for a takedown.

Co-Main Event Fight 1

Paddy Mcgillicutty (0-0-0) Vs Bobby “The Body Snatcher” Beaudrie (0-0-0)

Mattias Lundgren: Paddy Mcgillicutty, a BJJ fighter enters this bout with no record, a BJJ Brown Belt and Irish Boxer (which Irishman isn’t?) he stands 165 cm tall and weighs in at 160 lbs. at just 19 years old finding himself on the main stage, his opponent Bobby Beaudrie a Boxing specialist enters as well with no record standing 176cm tall and weighing in at 159lbs, he is 18 years old fighting out of Hamlin NY.

Beau Hogan: I know Paddy’s dad but I gotta say this one doesn’t seem to make much sense to me on the record I don’t see how we’ve got two fighters with no rec…. (Hogan’s Mic is cut as a furious Mattias speaks directly into his ear) I am so excited for this one I’ve been waiting all year for this fight! Truly the most electrifying fighter that’s been added to this roster and if he’s anything like his father this will be a battle for the ages, there seems to be a huge underground movement following him too considering Iron Wolf not only hired us but moved venues all the way to debuting their PPV at Madison Garden.

E.C.: (stares at Beau for a while with an ear to ear grin) didn’t get the memo? Hah this one is going to be a doozy will Beaudrie be able to sleep Mcgillicutty or will we see those Jiu Jitsu skills put him to the test, always got to love when two boxers go toe to toe it seems almost gladiator style, Paddy’s got quite the reputation to live up to with his dad but it is strange he almost looks like Joe Rogan a bit, and just looking out for him he better watch out before he gets in more trouble with the law.

Predictions:

Beau Hogan: We don’t really have a background on the two of these guys yet, I know Paddy’s taking the private jet over here and has been working hard in the gym but he’s been primarily focused on his Jiu Jitsu getting that brown belt is no easy task, you have to be a certain level of tough, I’m thinking he’s going to take him to the ground early and this is going to be the end in round one with a Paddy Sub.

E.C.: Beaudrie shows a lot of promise on the mitts and if he wasn’t in MMA he’d have an extremely promising career in Boxing, unfortunately I don’t see the background in grappling for him that I feel like he’s going to have a tough time dealing with that. We’ll get to see when fight night rolls around but the best bet for Body Snatcher is to try and sleep him early and show expert striking, because I’d be worried about a so-so boxer with excellent grappling vs a wonderful boxer with nothing else any day of the week.

Co-Main Event 2:

Rodney “Burger Boy” Farva (3-0-0) VS Quinnen “Big Baby” Williams (7-0-0)

Mattias Lundgren: Fighting for the Iron Wolf Heavyweight Title this bout consists of Rodney BURGER BOY Farva, holding an undefeated record of 3-0 he stands 187cm tall and weighs 262lbs, an MMA fighter with 3 tko victories, his opponent Quinnen Williams an MMA fighter comes in with an untouched 7-0 record, including four back to back fights that all ended in TKO, he stands 190cm tall and weighs in at 278lbs, there is a one year age difference.

Beau Hogan: Now this is what I’m talking about! I’ve been waiting for this day since the org opened up and I saw these two go on their own, Farva is unstoppable with three straight victories he shows he can hold them and just dominate any little burger punks that get in his way, on the reverse Quinnen is going on his 8th fight now, that is CRAZY at 20 to be untouched and just demolish your opponents, this fight is going to go either way and there aren’t going to be wolves in there, there’s two bears, which I also hear there’s going to be free bacon double cheeseburgers and liters of cola for everyone at this even, know what that’s about?

E.C.: You couldn’t say it better Beau but what’s a liter? Anyway, these two guys are pretty evenly matched in their skill sets and sizes and they’re both truly dominate competitors to enter the cage, I think Quinnens proven his merit just a tad more with just his record and our ability to see what he’s capable but here we have two guys who have both only ever slept their opponents, no decisions, no what ifs, straight cold finishes.

Prediction:

Beau Hogan: I can honestly say I have no idea on this one this is such a 50/50 shot I don’t even feel comfortable making the call here because they’re so similar.

E.C.: I want to agree but I’ve got to make a call here and I’m going to have to go with Quinnen he’s just a little bit older, little bit more grizzled, and shown he has some considerably better boxing ability than Farva thanks for the burgers burger boy but I think there’s not enough special sauce to fully edge out Williams that big baby aint crying on independence day.

Main Event:

Rayleigh “The Dark Knight” Dragon (6-1-0) VS Magnus “The Viking” Hjarvardsson (4-0-0)

Mattias Lundgren: On to the main event for the Iron Wolf Lightweight Title, we have Rayleigh “THE DARK KNIGHT” Dragon with a record of 6-1, he stands 175cm tall, weighing 155lbs and 24 years of age, an MMA fighter with a BJJ Brown belt he enters the ring on a three fight win streak including a Fight of the Night and Sub of the night bonus, his opponent Magnus “THE VIKING” Hjarvardsson enters with an undefeated 4-0 record, he stands 177cm tall, weighing 163lbs and 26 years of age, an MMA fighter with grappling dominance and a BJJ Purple Belt with four straight submission victories including submission of the night.

Beau Hogan: And here we go! This if the last round was the lightning THIS is the thunder, which one is going to dominate Batman or the Viking god Thor, two submission specialists that have shown they know just the right way and time to take someone down and just how to make them tap or go out.

E.C.: Ooooh boy this is going to be a battle if there was one, the only thing that’ll be harder for these opponents would be pronouncing Hjarvardsson’s last name. You know this fight is going to the ground immediately and I’m sure it intends to stay that way and you can’t even call it boring when both fighters managed bonuses in their performance just sticking to their strength. Hands down I see this as fight of the year…*cough*..I mean probably only rivaled by Mcgillicutty vs Beaudrie, maybe.

Predictions:

Beau Hogan: Definite decision coming up here, Magnus definitely has some more striking skills and wrestling ability I think his ability to land shots and nail the takedowns will be the things here that get him the points to edge out Rayleigh, on the ground those two will show what two Wolves really look like, leaned polished machines at each other’s throats. I think we’re getting five rounds on this one.

E.C.: And how could you not think that? Both guys have shown their IQ on the ground is second to none in this league and the fans are clearly in the same boat to see who’s going to take home that belt on July 4th, this will most likely go to decision victory but I think Rayleigh may just be able to land the sub. He’s barely left round one and we don’t know how black that brown belt really is, neither fighters been in championship rounds yet but if it makes it to Round 4 I’m going with The Dragon vis Rear Naked Choke.

Mattias Lundgren: And there you have it ladies and gentleman, be sure to tune in July 4th for what will undoubtedly be the biggest even in Iron Wolf if not MMA History! Fighter responses to follow.

Paddy "360°" Mcgillicutty

@Beau: grow a pair. If you think that I'm worthless because I have not fought yet, then feel free to say so.

However in not doing so, you protected yourself from making a total retard out of yourself. My value in skyhigh, no matter the amount of fights.

As for the fight, this is not a typical boxer vs BJJ guy. If you think so, then you are retarded anyway and that would be a real shame.

My strength lies within my body; my heart. I come to fight, not to cuddle. That brown belt is fun, although I do not like the color, but is mostly schmuck. I'm no fancy grappler with twister submissions, nor am I am the next Mike Tyson. I'm a mix of breeds, not seen before.

If that will work, time will tell.

All I know is that I'm here to entertain and that's what I'm planning to do before, during and after my fight.

All the rest is just blahblahblah...

Uncle Doe was spotted in the back, talking to his fighters after their fights. When asked, he had this to say.

I: Impressive work from the brothers tonight, are you satisfied with their performance?

Uncle Doe: Have I not told you. You children are not ready. We are a problem. The Nokkau brothers are a problem. What you have just seen is NOTHING! (spits all over the mic)

The titles are not safe. They are comming.

The almost 350 pound man walks away with a half billionair strut...

And there we have it ladies and gentleman in front of a packed house the first Iron Wolf Golden Claws, let’s now go to the post fight with our announcers Beau Hogan and Ethan Commissaire!

Undercard Bout 1:

Rodionovich Defeats Muradov via Decision (30:28)

E.C.: You know Beau, I thought right from the beginning when Muradov took that cut that it was going to be all over especially considering Rodionovic followed it with such an intense barrage but after that it was game on and suddenly we found what Muradov had in his tank which is a true lion’s heart man. He kept taking those barrages just repeatedly in that clinch honestly he shouldn’t be discouraged after this performance he went the full distance

Beau: A highly entertaining fight and I could not say it better E.C., Rodionovich had a dominant performance this entire fight and like he’s said “Hard work, Hard Victory” he showed he’s got a great gas tank when he just kept throwing shots with those clinches quickly became knee and elbow city but also hand it to Muradov being able to shrug off that punishment and keep coming, a solid congrats to both fighters!

Undercard Bout 2:

Peter Parker Defeats Slenzy Johnson via Submission (Kimura)

Beau: Spiderman, spiderman, breaks your arm with a Kimura…hand? I’m glad I went to the restroom before this round because I saw it going this way you can’t have a guy nicknamed Spiderman and not expect him to tie him up on the ground.

E.C.: I got this one wrong Beau, I really thought Johnson was going to try standup but he absolutely made the wrong move taking Spiderman to the ground right from the beginning and that quickly showed as Parker wrapped him up in that web and wrapped this fight up in time to get those pictures to print.

Undercard Bout 3:

Nokkau defeats Zatlers via KO

Beau: Oh My GOD this one hurt to watch, it’s so hard to even say anything that in depth on this fight when Nokkau did exactly what anyone looking at this monster would think he would do, he took those massive paws and just levelled Zatlers, I know I said Mike Tyson but this was Mike Tyson on those Iron Wolf Totally Legal Mexican Supplements!

E.C.: Again I really got them wrong Zatlers left himself wide open with that head kick and I didn’t think someone that big would be able to move THAT quick, we’ve got some Senegalese Scorpions in this league it seems. And did you catch that smile before he cracked him the last time, that was a straight good night if I ever saw one.

Undercard Bout 4:

Walsh defeats Fujimoto via Submission (Kimura)

E.C.: This one was all Walsh, like I said I didn’t see Fujimoto’s heart in the game and it really showed I don’t think he wanted to be here tonight and I didn’t catch him throw a single punch or kick did you?

Beau: Yeah this one should have gone on but this was like a school yard fight, Walsh pummeling Fujimoto but then I guess the bully beating the nerd had a conscience and when he saw that he wasn’t even going to fight back he got the neat submission and called it a day, truly disappointing I think Fujimoto should get out there and do some soul searching, buy some new clothes, I don’t know.

Undercard Bout 5:

Mack defeats Akinaga via Submission (Triangle Choke)

Beau: What did I say? What did I say? Akinaga came out with that striking game and caught Mack making sloppy mistakes but Mack’s ground game is phenomenal these people were booing but they don’t understand when you’re bleeding, and being wrestled, and there’s 20,000 people yelling it’s such an intense over stimulation that Mack turning that dire situation into a submission is truly remarkable.

E.C.: I’m having a bad day here man, I thought this would be the first draw but Rodionovic vs Muradov was closer than this one, I leaned towards Mack though so that counts for something, he’s proven time and time again he can work from the ground and now clearly even when there’s blood in his eyes he’s attuned to that style, I also heard we may be seeing him on that next title fight very soon.

Main Card Bout 5:

Nokkau Defeats Bob of Legend Via KO (Punches)

E.C: You know even though you called Nokkau I’m going to say we both called this one wrong so I can stop feeling so lonely over here! While the fight did test both their grappling skills we saw also saw that not only was Nokkau’s wrestling up to par to swat away about eight hundred submission attempts but him and his brother both have those massively powerful hands Bob was clearly trying to end this one asap and we can see why now!

Beau Hogan: That wrestling background I mentioned earlier really came into play on this one as you saw in the octagon Nokkau just kept turning those submissions away left and right. It’s a shame Bob didn’t change up the game when he saw it wasn’t going that way because he’s also one of the better fighters in the division and now taking the first L of his career. Overall boring fight but exceptional finish!

Main Card Bout 4:

Zaintashara Defeats Foy Via TKO (Strikes)

Beau Hogan: Was I right or was I right? Foy ran in for a clinch most likely looking for the takedown and Zaintashara caught him with that uppercut then a few more strikes and it was lights out.

E.C.: Very good call on that one Beau, this was an even match but clearly that morale was just too low and caused Foy to make a massive misstep on this one, Zaintashara went in and just delivered such a clean finish I’m glad the ref called it when he did because that had some potential for real damage.

Co-Main Event 1:

Mcgillicutty Defeats Beaudrie via Submission (Guillotine)

Beau Hogan: Paddy, first let me say I’m sorry for doubting you, your first night in the ring and this was easily one of the most entertaining fights of the night. With such expert movements in the clinch and then a few shots to soften Beaudrie up followed by that expert display not only pulling guard but just locking in that submission and putting Beaudrie down just past the halfway mark. Clearly this is a fighter to keep a look out for and I’m eating crow on my earlier remarks.

E.C.: You know Beau I went by the locker rooms before the fight and I couldn’t get past the entourage to wish him luck there was just this line of woman, pizza delivery guys, and I think Irish Mob but don’t quote me on that, as for the fight it went exactly as I thought he showed his superior grappling abilities jumping on his opponent like a little Gremlin and then just choking the life from him. Definitely going to be a fierce opponent on the ground and with that Gaston level chin I’m sure his standup will be able to go the distance too, looking forward to the rest of his career in this league.

Co-Main Event 2:

Williams Defeats Farva via TKO (Strikes)

Beau Hogan: I called it a 50/50 but this definitely was a 5/95, Farva started strong the way we always knew but he just wasn’t able to deliver on the strikes, Quinnen on the other hand just demolished his opponent and showed what truly expert striking is about. I hope to see Farva come back especially considering everyone got free burgers and liters of cola tonight on the back of his earlier work. But with a performance like that Williams showed not only why he’s 8-0 but why he’s the Heavyweight Champ through and through.

E.C.: I had a feeling that little bit of age really played out here, Quinnen didn’t look nervous at all even getting taken to the ground so early, he kept his calm and showed what a true master of his craft can do, I don’t think I saw him miss a single shot this evening which is remarkable in its own, that’s like throwing a perfect game. Congrats to the new Champ!

Main Event:

Dragon Defeats Hjarvardsson via Submission (Armbar)

E.C.: You know it’s kinda funny, you called the early fights better and I called these later ones better, I thought this would make it to championship rounds with these two exceptional fighters but I guess Dragon took notes from Mcgillicutty and threw Hjarvarsson off with pulling guard and shows how different a brown and purple belt can be on the ground, if Williams showed expert striking, this was expert control to finish. I’m expecting him to hold that belt for quite awhile.

Beau: This one shocked me I honestly figured that Hjarvardsson would avoid the clinch because if a guy is great on the ground you really want to avoid anything that puts him in range to take you to the ground. We saw it time and time again tonight and unfortunately for Hjarvardsson it was a major miscalculation that cost him a title. Dragon really showed his merits and this must feel like a redemption for his earlier loss in a QFC Tournament Final, but feel proud Champ! This belt is way cooler!

Mattias Lundgren: Thanks everyone for watching tonight’s awards and $20,000 bonuses went, for Submission of the Night, Rayleigh Dragon, For KO of the Night Kamalu Nokkau, and For Fight of the Night, the one and only Paddy Mcgillicutty. We’ll see you guys all again on July 18th for the follow up Part 2 right here at Madison Garden with another title fight when Derick Muise takes on Aaron Spears for the 205lb Title!

Another great writeup! Not much doubt for who Quinnen's next opponent and win number 9 will be. Rest assured, the champ is hard at work in the gym preparing for his toughest opponent yet.

He better be. Mack is going in there with no pressure looking to push Williams to his limit. LET'S GO CHAMP!

On four days notice lightweight newcomer Garry Almeida 0-0 took a fight with Bobby Beaudrie 0- 1. Nearly 48hrs until fight time Beaudrie has yet to accept the offer and step up. So Almeida took to social media to ask the rest of the division to step up!!

@GarryGrapples

I've got zero cage experience and guys are ducking me on short notice! Somebody step up and fight me. Steve Gundmundsson , Petr Yan or hell if nobody wants to fight the beast that is Paddy Mcgillicutty than sign me up on 2 days notice. Let's save this card!!! Who's gonna nut up?!

Paddy "360°" Mcgillicutty

New sponsorship deal signed, sun is out, life is good.

I hate all the training but my manager keeps insisting on training for my own good, for my future.

He better be right, as I feel much better while kicking ass in the octagon.

I am a hungry wolf, on an iron leash. When I will break free, things will not be pretty.
