My name is Webb, Alika Webb. I am the history teacher at the Omega High School in New York. I teach history because it’s important to know your past so you can learn how the world came to be and how we are all moving forward. If you want to know your future you need to look at the past. But ever since I joined this school, I learned something new: there is no time like the present.

A little Omega 27 promo

by Alika Webb

I am convinced that there is a cancer in every school in the whole wide world, what is it you say? I am so glad you asked. It’s the person that everybody remembers after school, the school bully! To gain some insight in this fascinating creature to possibly one day defeat this great evil once and for all, I decided to take a closer look at Omega High School bully, Russell Northrop.

I am stationed in the bushes, sitting on my knees near the edge of the outside entrance to the playground. Where reality fades away and darkness comes to life as they enter … Omega High School. I am carrying the biggest binoculars money could buy as expenses are meaningless to solving this ancient problem. Only ten minutes left before class is in session and as usual the bully is nowhere to be seen. Predictability could be key to figuring out how bullying starts and how I can defeat it so observing him regularly is a must. Since he has yet to arrive, let’s take a look at his friends who are already here, standing in the middle of the playground as they consider themselves the center of the frigging universe … the jocks!

First up is the alpha male of the troop, Ja Wuan Robinson. The self-proclaimed superstar is the most popular jerk, I mean jock in school and the captain of the football team despite only transferring in just a few months ago. This guy has no confidence problems, the only problem he has is his ego. He is talented and boy does he know it!

Second is the loudmouth Ahsan Hamed. An expert in cyber bullying but when the fighting starts he doesn’t have the greatest reputation. He backs down from no one but this has cost him in the past as he’s lost to some really tough delinquents.

Third is the new kid on the block, DJ Thunda. Morrison Lee used to be the alpha male of the group but he picked the wrong victim to mess with when he started picking on DJ. DJ eventually stood up to his bully and knocked him out! Unfortunately instead of defeating the bullies he ended up joining them.

Oh, here he comes. The star of the day, the bully! Oh my god! Can you believe it, the prick doesn’t even have his backpack with him. How does he expect to be able to pay attention in class without his books? Well that’s just a stupid question as he never does. Oh crap, I can’t see anything anymore. These two girls came up to the bushes and are now standing in my way. They are standing an arm’s length away with their backs facing me. No, they just keep standing there. Go away already! I need to get higher to get a clear line of sight, so I stand up but I still try to stay behind the girls so that nobody notices me.

The bully definitely lives up to his name as he says hello to his peers by giving a wedgie to the new guy – DJ – who was standing with his back toward the bully. Now he’s talking to the group, I notice there’s something in his hands, what is it? I can’t see, I need to get closer. I stretch myself as high as I can and I lean a bit forward to get the best view possible, still not good so I lean a bit more forward until …

“What the hell do you think you’re doing Alika?!” said a voice to my right. I turn around and I see principal Justin Ass standing right there with an angry face. Suddenly one of the two girls in front of me shrieks. I look down and see that I am leaning a bit too forward as my binoculars are positioned right above one of the girls’ cleavage. I am screwed!

OMEGA FIGHTING – WIND OF CHANGE PREVIEW

By Alika Webb

Epic accomplishments from mere mortal men have shattered the foundations of Omega and they have already created historical moments that will echo through time. This is the place where prospects come to test their strength and some may become legends while others have to face reality. Will the new wind that is blowing through the Omega ranks cause a storm of a magnitude we have never seen before or has the storm already reached it’s peak?

Welcome to a new era of Omega! The Omega fighters are fired up and are looking to take Omega Fighting and it’s sponsor Urban Fighter to another level. Headlining the event is the newly crowned light heavyweight champion. The JR superstar will be taking on an undefeated prospect. The featherweight title might not be on the line but the champion is set to compete in a superfight that will knock your socks off. The bully is looking to make a statement that he is the ruler of the Omega campus before graduation. And further down the card, DJ Thunda looks to keep riding the wave after making history by pulling off the single biggest upset ever under the Omega banner.

Main event:

205 lbs - Ja Wuan Robinson (11-3) Vs Oswald Cobblepot (4-0)

The new blood taking over the Omega ranks is personified in the main event as the JR superstar comes face to face with the penguin of doom. Ja Wuan Robinson came in like a wrecking ball and is currently smashing his way through the competition. Now reigning supreme at the top of his division, he is set to defend his light heavyweight strap for the very first time. The first hurdle on his title run is the undefeated prospect, the penguin of doom.

Ja Wuan Robinson is a potential million dollar prospect at the top of his game. He exploded to the Omega scene when he dominated grappling expert Sergey Beznisko. He manhandled the durable Beznisko and made it look easy. Don’t forget his previous accomplishments before coming to Omega Fighting either as those two things combined made him an interesting challenger for the former champion Zeph Frazier. On paper both fighters looked like they were pretty even and the fight we all anticipated definitely did not disappoint. The first two rounds were closely contested and could have gone either way. Frazier had a small advantage in the first round while Robinson took over the lead in the second round and ended up cutting Frazier at the end of that round. The slight edge in the second round gave Robinson the courage to keep moving forward and he kept pushing the champion’s buttons. Robinson rocked Frazier in the third round and like a shark in the water he smelled the blood and kept the pressure on Frazier until he crumbled under it. A talented striker with a fearsome clinch game to top it off, the new champion is the undeniable favorite in his first title defense.

The challenger Oswald Cobblepot is another prospect who made a statement in his promotional debut and took Omega Fighting by storm as this title shot will be just the third time he’s entering the Omega Fighting cage. The first three fights of his career didn’t last very long as the penguin managed to finish his opponents in the very first round. That gave him an aura of mystery and fans were wondering if this prospect could be the real deal. In his last fight the penguin had his fate in the hands of the judges for the first time in his career and rumor has it that he didn’t like it. That fight showed the fans that he isn’t a one dimensional fighter, while he does love to throw bombs he can do more than just boxing and he has got enough cardio to keep up the pace for three five minute rounds. Will the cardio of the penguin be able to last for five five minute rounds is the question now or will it not be necessary as the penguin packs a punch that could end the reign of the newly crowned champion before it can even begin.

Co-main event:

145 lbs - Ahsan Hamed (10-5) Vs Albert Ricci (6-0)

Superfight? I guess so. Everybody who follows Omega Fighting closely knows that Ahsan Hamed loves his social media. He does it well too as he was nominated for the fight character of the year 2016 award. While he didn’t get the award it didn’t stop him from celebrating his last victory online and that got the attention of undefeated prospect Albert Ricci. Hamed wrote that he was exhausted from his last fight and the training leading up to it and he said he looked forward to taking a long vacation. This ticked off the New York native Albert Ricci who took a personal jab at Hamed by stating he should not go on vacation that long as that could be the reason he’s lost five times already. Things heated up and the war of words created enough buzz to make this superfight possible.

Ahsan Hamed never backs down from a challenge. That is the least you can say about the current Omega featherweight champion. When he won the title, he didn’t sit back and relax to enjoy the fruits of his labor. He boldly took a giant leap forward as he went up a weight class to challenge Omega hall of famer Morrison Lee. The dangerous striker is a showman and the crowd loves him for it but he needs to face facts, one third of the fights he’s been into were losses. It’s a statistic that doesn’t show all the facts but that doesn’t mean it isn’t true. He might have faced some really tough opponents and he is the current Omega featherweight champion but he only won two times in his last four fights. That is a fact and that gives him a credibility problem which Ricci more than picked up on. But what Ricci failed to see was that the champion has been in the cage with the best opposition he could find and went to war multiple times. The experience edge goes to the Omega champion and if he can turn this into a slugfest that could be enough to tip the scales in his favor. Hamed needs another win to establish once and for all that he is worth standing in the spotlights as the best his division has to offer.

Albert Ricci didn’t just see a champion from another organization boasting with a record that doesn’t exactly jump off the page. He saw an opportunity to get an easy victory that could elevate his own reputation and he took it. That is a smart move and should he be able to win, I dare say a brilliant move. If Ricci can pull this off, he should thank his manager for making this happen. His manager in this case isn’t just a knight on a white horse for this talented kid, he is the king, queen and the rest of the royal family riding a purple frigging unicorn on a rainbow leading to a big pot of gold. But he hasn’t made it to the finish line yet, to do that he still needs to overcome the obstacle that is Ahsan Hamed. And that obstacle won’t be so easy to overcome as Hamed has experience fighting under enormous pressure and going to war while Ricci simply has not. The All American Italian hasn’t been battle tested yet but Hamed could be just the opponent he needs to show off his true skills. Will Ricci be able to keep his head above water when he faces the aggressive Ahsan Hamed or will the Omega featherweight champion be able to teach the outsider a lesson in cage warfare?

170 lbs - Russell Northrop (8-0) Vs Dan Howson (5-5)

Change is coming to the welterweight division it seems as the bully has set his sights higher and will be looking to graduate from Omega Fighting summa cum laude. The bully will be looking at his last fight in Omega as a mere tune-up fight before moving up to the big leagues. Should that be the case the Omega welterweight title will be up for grabs but there is still one man standing in the way of the bully.

Russell Northrop came into Omega Fighting undefeated and he will be looking to leave the same way. The champion has dominated in the short period of time he was in Omega and we hope that he’ll be able to look back with joy at the time he had in Omega. He has given the fans some memorable moments during his visit so let’s take a trip down memory lane. He dominated in his debut fight against Arthur Raudrson, he toyed with Raudrson like a cat plays with its food before eating it as he proved superior no matter where the fight took place. In his second fight he took on fellow undefeated prospect Bosco Iwoba, it was a close back and forth battle but the bully managed to outwork Iwoba to get the win. In his third fight the bully dominated Patrick Cleary to win the vacant Omega welterweight title but it wasn’t a flawless victory as the bully did get caught at the end of the fifth and final round. In his last fight the bully showed his absolute superiority over the veteran Mike Freitag. The well rounded bully has one more victim left to pick on before leaving. Will he be able to give the Omega fans one more memorable victory before leaving or will his Omega run end with a shocking defeat?

Dan "The Degenerate" Howson is on a two fight winning streak and should he be able to defeat the bully he will be instantly catapulted to fame as it would be an even bigger upset than DJ Thunda defeating the legendary Omega hall of famer Morrison Lee. Howson has lethal high kicks and knows how to use them. The bully seemingly has no weaknesses but he hasn’t fought a kickboxer sporting kicks as high level as Howson’s. Could those kicks be the answer to solving the puzzle that is Russell Northrop?

155 lbs - DJ Thunda (7-4-1) Vs Timothy Wilkinson (5-3)

Can DJ Thunda prove that he isn’t a one-hit wonder after his incredible upset victory over the living legend Morrison Lee or is it Timothy Wilkinson’s time to shine?

Fresh off one of the most memorable upsets in recent MMA history, DJ Thunda will need to prove that beating Morrison Lee wasn’t just a fluke and that he is deserving of one of the most coveted belts in Omega Fighting. After a lackadaisical first round, the heavy-handed brawler rattled Lee in the second round and quickly finished the fight with a big overhand right. The question needs to be asked if DJ is ready to carry the division as a rematch with Morrison Lee is bound to happen soon should he be victorious.

Timothy "Xtreme" Wilkinson is no stranger to the new champion as they have faced off before and it was Wilkinson who had his hand raised in the end. Last time they fought, neither managed to really impress and both had a hard time getting something going. This is a typical Wilkinson game plan. Wilkinson loves to dictate the pace by throwing fast and sharp strikes that keep his opponents guessing which throws off their timing.

DJ has shown time and time again that he possesses the power needed to put fellow lightweights to sleep, but will he be able to dictate the pace of this bout without falling into a Wilkinson style fight?

205 lbs - Harry Sachz (9-8) Vs Aaron Alvarez (5-4)

You only get one chance to make a first impression, but one chance is all you need. Promotional newcomer Harry Sachz will face a lot of pressure in his fight with Aaron Alvarez as he is currently on a three fight losing streak. The submission standout will be looking to take this fight to the ground where he has the advantage. Looking to keep the promotional newcomer off the winning track is Aaron Alvarez. Alvarez is a well rounded martial artist and he likes to show off his resourcefulness by switching game plans often. While Sachz will be looking for the takedowns, Alvarez would be better off standing and trading so expect this to be a classic striker Vs grappler matchup.

185 lbs - Kenji Sato (5-5) Vs James Bean (4-3)

Don’t mistake their undercard status as a sign that this will be a boring fight, this is a rematch that could end up stealing the thunder from the entire main card if they are willing to go to war like they did last time. The last time these two clashed the fight went all over the place, it was a fight where neither had a significant advantage wherever the fight ended up and the fans loved it. They are well rounded and both are scrappy fighters that put their heart and soul out there when they step into that cage.

265 lbs - Ray Stuckey (3-1) Vs Quetzal Montezuma (3-3)

"Rampaging" Ray Stuckey has a simple but very effective game plan, he just keeps punching you until you go down. Stuckey throws hard shots, constantly advances and isn’t afraid to take one to give one. He is a headhunter and even if you know what’s coming, one punch is all he needs to end the fight. Should he beat Montezuma, we could be looking at a future heavyweight title contender. Former champion Quetzal Montezuma was unsuccessful in capturing the belt for a second time and is now looking to get back in title contention, a win over prospect on the rise Ray Stuckey should do just that. Both heavyweights are known for their striking so expect this to be a standup war that could end by every single strike thrown.

170 lbs - Peaky Blinder (9-8) Vs Chinggis Khaan (2-0)

Peaky Blinder just had an impressive career-resurrecting five fight winning streak snapped but a change of scenery could be just what he needs as he is set to make his promotional debut. Blinder is a dangerous fighter perpetually looking for an opening to finish the fight. He does have power in his hands but he doesn’t let it limit himself by focusing on one aspect of the game instead he has chosen to incorporate multiple aspects of as many martial art forms as possible in his skill set. Also making his promotional debut is the Spanish undefeated prospect Chinggis Khaan. Both his fights went by swiftly and we haven’t been able to really see the whole picture of what Khaan brings to the cage. We know that he can knock people out but a lot still remains a mystery in terms of MMA capabilities.

155 lbs - Whitey O Whitersson (7-7) Vs Stevie Franchise (7-7)

Zimbabwean boxer Whitey O Whitersson didn’t do so well in his promotional debut to say the least. He got finished halfway through the first round in a brawl against Dick Pound. He needs to step up his game to end his current two fight losing streak. Fellow striker Stevie "The Hugmaster" Franchise had a great two fight winning streak snapped when he lost to Boris Zhivago but the hugmaster is still ranked high in the Omega cup standings and a solid win could be enough to get himself back in the number one position.

155 lbs - Boris Zhivago (3-1) Vs Otavio Martins (0-2)

Fresh off an impressive performance, Boris "Ice Cold Killer" Zhivago didn’t just fight against Stevie Franchise. He made it a display of his well roundedness. Zhivago didn’t just want to win, he wanted to show the world that he was better than his opponent in every single possible way and did just that. If he can keep raking in the wins he could be poised for a higher ranked opponent soon. New signee Otavio Martins is looking to finally get his career started as he has yet to taste the sweet smell of victory. He hasn’t been able to impress and therefore not much is known about the Brazilian jiu jitsu brown belt.

Will the new wind blowing through Omega take the current establishment by storm? Will the bully graduate with highest honors? This and more, find out on February twelfth.

OMEGA 27 Wind of Change - short review

By Alika Webb

In another unexpected turn of events, Omega 27 definitely lived up to it’s name as it was a night of change. The brilliance of Omega owner Justin Ass has never been so obvious as it was his booking and naming of the historic Omega 27 event that made it as big as it turned out to be. Although I do hope the promotion of the event by yours truly also did it’s part :P

Main event:

205 title - Ja Wuan Robinson © Vs Oswald Cobblepot

The main event featured an intriguing story as the champion made it known before the fight that he deemed the challenger unworthy. After the fight the challenger was crowned the new champion and Oswald couldn’t help but gloat. Could be this be the start of new rivalry?

When the bell rung both guys didn’t want to waste any time. Ja Wuan made it pretty clear he wanted to close the distance but the challenger foiled those plans as he was focused on keeping his distance. What made this fight so great is that they both went for it, while the champion never took a break as he tried to close the distance it was the frantic pace that the challenger set that really made the difference. The knockdown Oswald scored in the second round must have been highly rewarding for the new champion as Ja Wuan Robinson was pretty vocal in the build-up toward the fight that he was going to knock the penguin out.

Winner: Oswald Cobblepot by unanimous decision.

Co-main event:

Featherweight superfight: Ahsan Hamed (Omega Fighting) Vs Albert Ricci (Ontario Fight Club)

In the co-main event Omega Fighting took it’s first step toward global domination as the natural born talker Ahsan Hamed successfully defended the honor of Omega Fighting in a superfight. The fight that started out on the social network known as Buzz flowed over into the Omega cage and brought forth a social media superfight that more than delivered. Actions talk louder than words is what the Omega featherweight champion must have thought as he ran through the outsider in spectacular fashion.

The Omega featherweight champion came out strong and made it clear that the fight wouldn’t go to a decision as he was mixing dangerous knockout punches with some stiff low kicks to keep the challenger guessing. Ricci did his best to slow the fight down by closing the distance but it was all over before he could gain the upper hand.

Winner: Ahsan Hamed by TKO (strikes) after 4 minutes and 48 seconds in the second round.

170 title - Russell Northrop © Vs Dan Howson

How the mighty fall. Russell Northrop also known as the bully was the heavy favorite but this fight proved that even the biggest underdog can rise to the occasion.

The bully lived up to his name as he started bullying the challenger, peppering him with shots to set up the takedown. While the bully did manage to take the fight to the ground he was unable to keep it there. The bully continued scoring points with some snapping punches but he got countered big time with a beautiful 1-2 combination that dropped him. Howson saw his chance to finish and took it as he finished the bully with some tough hammer fists.

Winner: Dan Howson by TKO (strikes) after 3 minutes and 40 seconds in the first round.

155 title - DJ Thunda © Vs Timothy Wilkinson

The lightweight title was on the line and both champion and challenger turned this into a dirty brawl like they were fighting on the mean streets of New York city instead of two professionals facing off in the Omega cage. The fight was closely contested and in the end the champion retained due to a cut. Considering the champion needed to prove that winning the title wasn’t a fluke and that the challenger was winning two rounds to one when the fight ended that doesn’t bode well for Thunda as Morrison Lee is lurking in the shadows, only one fight away from a rematch.

Winner: DJ Thunda by TKO (cut) after 4 minutes and 55 seconds in the fourth round.

145 lbs - Natural Born Killer (12-3) Vs Morrison Lee (14-2)

Featherweight champion Natural Born Killer faces the biggest challenge of his life as he takes on one of the most popular Omega Fighting icons, Morrison Lee. Main eventing the biggest card in Omega Fighting history are two of the most popular fighters on the roster. On one hand we have the champion, Natural Born Killer who’s only lost one fight during his time in Omega Fighting. Which is even more impressive considering that half the fights he participated in were title fights. On the other hand we have the first Omega Fighting hall of famer and former two time lightweight champion Morrison Lee. Can the living legend end his promotional career with another title on his resume or will the champion continue his reign of terror as he takes out the hall of famer?

Natural Born Killer started out his career as a brawler, he got close to his opponents and started beating them to a pulp. He had the fearlessness required to take on anyone. With an itchy hand, always ready to pull the trigger and knock somebody’s lights out, the sky seemed to be the limit. But when he swung for the fences, he occasionally left himself wide open. The losses he suffered taught him more than his wins ever could and he changed his ways accordingly. Now he’s on a different path. He started fighting in a more methodical manner, carefully taking apart his opponents piece by piece while leaving no weaknesses exposed and he started a winning spree that struck fear in the hearts of men. Finishes have not graced his record recently but now more than ever the sight of the champion standing in front of you frightens even the most competent fighters in the division. A terrifying thought indeed it is, a killer who can keep his emotions under control and dismantle his opponents, not once falling into temptation as he slowly sucks the life out of them. A super villain amongst villains is holding the division under his thumb with his slow methodical killing pace. Who else could dare to dethrone the Natural Born Killer but a hero?

An Omega Fighting icon, the biggest hero on the roster, the first hall of famer, one of the longest reigning champions in the history of Omega Fighting, … the list goes on and on. For months Morrison Lee dominated the Omega Fighting lightweight division. Until sadly one day, his world got turned upside down by a thundering blow from DJ Thunda that cost him his title, his undefeated streak and unmistakenly damaged his legacy. He got back on track quickly as he ran through Harold Shipman and got the chance to get revenge on the man that derailed his career. In a very close fight, Morrison Lee took the fight to DJ Thunda as he continued to out strike the striker for the first three rounds before finally getting the takedown he desired. Lightning nearly struck twice though as Lee got rocked at the beginning of the fifth round. The icon survived but the first defense of his second reign ended in a sour note as the past came back to haunt Morrison Lee. Harold Shipman revenged his loss with a shocking upset victory, submitting Lee after a mere 18 seconds in the first round. Now the grappler turned complete mixed martial artist has a chance to make even more history as he drops a weight class to add another title to his list of accomplishments. Morrison Lee is a true student of the game, over the years he’s added many different aspects from a plethora of fighting styles to his skill set. The icon’s resourcefulness combined with his intelligence can be seen as his most dangerous weapon. He looks for his opponents’ weak spots and preys on them as he has the skills to finish the fight wherever it takes place.

205 lbs - Oswald Cobblepot (7-0) Vs Ja Wuan Robinson (13-4)

Payback is a b-word! "JR Superstar " Ja Wuan Robinson wants his belt back but standing in his way is the only man to defeat him in nearly a year. Oswald "The Penguin" Cobblepot is undefeated and since winning the title from Ja Wuan Robinson he has continued to lead the light heavyweight division by example. He kicks ass, takes no names and never loses focus as the win is all that matters for the penguin of doom. Expect fireworks as two dangerous strikers face off in a rematch for the ages. On the last card of Omega Fighting, a grudge match will decide once and for all who the better fighter is, the penguin of doom or the JR Superstar.

Oswald Cobblepot is the only undefeated fighter on this star-studded card and he is hell-bent to remain undefeated as he faces a blast from the past. The last time these two mixed it up, Oswald Cobblepot came out victorious. The penguin of doom did an excellent job of keeping the power shots flowing like water. He kept throwing an abundance of strikes with lethal intent and his opponent was feeling the pain as the JR Superstar was constantly on the lookout for a clinch in an attempt to disrupt the penguin’s menacing pace. Since then, Oswald Cobblepot has gone to war with TJ Hearts before making an example of Kevaughn Aldridge, solidifying his status as one of the best champions Omega Fighting has to offer. The penguin is a kickboxer with a dynamite punch and he’ll be ready to throw it again in a grudge match you don’t want to miss!

On a quest for vengeance, Ja Wuan Robinson has wreaked havoc since dropping the title to the penguin. Ja Wuan Robinson made his case and put an exclamation point behind it as he put on a striking clinic against James "The Real Deal" Steel. One beat down wasn’t enough for the JR Superstar as he destroyed former champion Boo Lee with a big right hand that put him to sleep. Now there is only one obstacle left on the path to regaining his title, a little penguin that packs a punch. The JR Superstar is no stranger to the striking game himself but the last time these two warriors collided, Robinson seemed too preoccupied with closing the distance that he eventually got caught up in the relentless pace set by the penguin. To win the fight you need to control it or end it before it goes to the judges’ decision. Will Ja Wuan Robinson try to control the fight like he did last time or will he go for broke and attempt to do what no man has done before him?

185 lbs - Vito Mazzini (13-1) Vs Fabouzi Massu (7-1)

A figurehead of the division, Vito Mazzini has successfully reclaimed the belt he once held for so long. The inaugural champion would love nothing more than to be its last owner as well. But to do that he’ll have to go through a million dollar prospect looking to redeem himself.

A dangerous striker with an exceptional ground game to boot, Vito Mazzini has been the one constant factor in the middleweight division since the start. A minor hiccup occurred when he got caught by Hassan Dehu but since then he’s been tearing it up in the cage and successfully recaptured the belt that had always been his. With seven submission victories under his belt, one might mistakenly take him for a grappler but still waters run deep and there is more than meets the eye with this elite fighter. His striking skills are phenomenal, combining speed and accuracy to establish his dominance as he sets an unforgiving pace. If you can’t keep up you are going to be left behind in his dust but if in your haste you should dare make a mistake, he’ll pounce on it without remorse and take you down to the ground. This makes him a tough nut to crack for any fighter.

Spending months on the sidelines did not take away his lust for the gold as Fabouzi Massu attempts to once again capture the gold that has already alluded him once before. This time he meets a different champion as since losing his belt to Vito Mazzini, Bosco Iwoba is aspiring to greatness in a different organization. A powerful striker who doesn’t back down from a challenge will have his hands full in this final battle for the middleweight title as he’ll have to match the intensity his opponent loves to bring.

155 lbs - Harold Shipman (8-6) Vs Ahsan Hamed (12-7)

Harold Shipman did what nobody thought he could do: beat the living legend Morrison Lee. An upset victory for the history books but was it mere luck or pure talent that reigned supreme that faithful night? Ahsan Hamed once unsuccessfully vied for the lightweight title against said legend so a win over the man who beat the legend he once lost to will be another big feather in his cap. Can the social media emperor of Omega Fighting expose the newly crowned champion or will Harold Shipman be able to prove that he deserves to be a champion?

Harold Shipman knows how to dispatch his opponents to the undercard when he gets the fight to the ground but what will the newly crowned champion do when he gets stuck in a torrent of strikes? When it’s raining thundering blows from the challenger, will the champion be able to muster his strength or will he crumble under the might of Ahsan Hamed?

205 lbs - Boo Lee (13-6) Vs Logan Ninefingers (5-2)

One of the originals in Omega Fighting, he was here since day one and he’s still with us on the very last day. Once upon a time Boo Lee main evented the inaugural event and now he’s with us still, competing on the very last event in the history of the company. Will the former light heavyweight champion be able to avenge his latest loss and get back on the winning track or will he go down fighting in a losing effort? The latter would be the answer if his opponent has any say in the matter. Logan "The Bloody Nine" Ninefingers is known for his hard-hitting punches and his snapping kicks will make you think twice about stepping into his range. He’s currently on a three fight knockout streak and he looks to continue his path of destruction against the former champion.

145 lbs - Chrys Kyle (10-4) Vs Brody Kavanagh (11-5-1)

On a quest for redemption after a run-in with champion Natural Born Killer are both warriors in this clash of egos. Chrys Kyle is a bona fide weapon of mass destruction, snapping skulls backwards with his clobbering punches is his way of life. Legs built like tree trunks support him on his quest for a finish as they sap the life-force out of his foes’ legs, mind and body. Looking to bring an end to Chrys Kyle’s party of carnage and mayhem is the jack-of-all-trades Brody "Ares" Kavanagh. His opponent might prefer to stand and trade but the Irish Brody Kavanagh can take care of business wherever the fight takes place. The key to victory for the resourceful Brody Kavanagh should be to take control of where the fight takes place. If Kavanagh can dictate his type of fight on the heavy-handed brawler instead of getting caught up in his opponent’s pace, this could be a walk in the park for the Irish warrior.

205 lbs - Dido Vicini (8-1) Vs James Steel (8-5)

Submission wizards collide in this high-level grappling extravaganza. With more Tycoon World Grappling Championships fights under his belt than mixed martial arts fights, one can’t help but notice Dido Vicini’s passion for grappling. His opponent is James "the Real Deal" Steel, with six submission victories on his record you know he won’t shy away from going to the mat either. They both have a deep understanding of the ground game but they both have some stand-up skills as well. Dido Vicini does not often showcase his striking skills but he does a pack a punch. James "The Real Deal" Steel on the other hand stands and trades with the desire to take the fight to the ground, throwing punches in bunches to keep his opponents on their toes as he looks for the takedown. Will these two Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belts exhibit their grappling skills in a technical battle for ground supremacy or will they duke it out standing as their grappling skills cancel each other out?

205 lbs - Grisha Kamenov (11-5-2) Vs Francisco Escobar (7-10)

Once more we might have a grappling exchange lined up for the fans to bear witness. Combined they have a stunning 14 submissions on their records. While their love for submissions might lead you to believe they are two peas in a pod, there is more to be seen underneath the surface. The difference in styles is clear as Grisha Kamenov is a Muay Thai specialist who uses a plethora of strikes to impose his dominance from both near and from afar, mostly using his submission skills as a last resort when the fight does go to the ground. Francisco Escobar has focused his studies more on the wrestling aspect of the fight game. Closing the distance and outworking his adversaries until they abandon all hope and leave themselves open for a tricky submission is his bread and butter. Will the Muay Thai specialist be able to keep the fight standing or will grappling warfare swipe the fans of their feet as two submission wizards hit the mat?

Title Fight

265 lbs - Acyrius AssKicken (4-4) Vs Poro Peukalo (3-2)

To legitimize their battle, the vacant heavyweight title will be on the line one final time. It’s a clash of styles in this heavyweight brawl as both fighters possess a fight-ending punch but the difference lies in their approach that leads to the finish. Acyrius AssKicken enjoys a good beat down in the morning, he loves more than anything to overwhelm his opponents with a swarm of strikes. Mixing his dynamite punches with pulverizing kicks gives him a critical edge on the outside. Poro "The Liizard" Peukalo on the other hand can stand and trade but he prefers the warmth of a good hug. Clinging to his opponents in a grueling Muay Thai clinch makes him the favorite if the fight transitions into a close-range exchange.
