Man... it was the easiest money I ever earned! Respect for that Japanese kid for stepping into the ring with me, but bro, you need to go back to your dojo and learn a lot if you don't want to be embarrassed like that again, especially in front of your own crowd. Thank you for the warm welcome, Tokyo!

Greg Conor had a nice warmup, but when one faces a fearsome multi-dimentional fighter like myself, you ain't got a chance. I look forward to our bout very much and i really do hope you have some bollocks, because Nate "Mangina" Richardson sure as hell had none. Tally-ho dear fellows."

"You are all looking at the future of the Featherweight division. Mohammed who? Rostislav what? Estefan, Esteban, whatever! All are just future paydays!"

I'll add that the winners of Kosaryov vs. Mouse and Oliveira vs. Nakamura will fight for the vacant Featherweight title, winner becoming the first 145 king :)

Also, the winners of Anderson vs. Landford and Amanatidis vs. Geahie are expected to fight for the Middleweight title.

On the 26th of May 2016, Hayashi's lounge in the bustling centre of Tokyo will play host to the third event in Bushido's history, Bushido 3: Oliveira vs. Nakamura. Twenty fighters are set to make an appearance as a mixture of up-and-comers and unknowns step into the organisation's ring for the very first time. Additionally, the final two fights of the evening will act as title eliminator's, with the respective winners facing off for the chance to become the inaugural Featherweight Champion at a later date.

Main Card Preview

Main Event

Featherweight Title Eliminator

Esteban Oliveira (3-0-0, Debut) vs. Ito "Vice" Nakamura (1-0-0, Debut)

The final fight of the night will see Bushido's #2 P4P fighter Esteban Oliveira as he steps into the ring opposite #17 ranked underdog fighting on home soil, Ito Nakamura. Oliveira made his debut into the world of Mixed Martial Arts early last month, where he finished his then 0-4 in just under thirty seconds. Since then, the Brazilian went on to earn two additional first round finishes on the regional circuit known as the Quick Fighting Championship before signing with Bushido. His opponent Nakamura debuted only two weeks ago on the Tokyo QFC, where he displayed his grappling prowess and earned first round submission victory. The two men in this Main Event fight very different to one another, as Esteban is naturally a Boxer that uses punches to keep his opponents at bay, along with his respectable Wrestling to prevent grapplers from dictating the fight. Nakamura on the other hand uses his grappling skills to control his fights, and although he has only had one documented appearance, it was clear that the Asian is gifted in this department. The winner of this fight will face off against the victor of the Co-Main Event; Kosayrov vs. Mouse, at a later date for the chance to become the very first Bushido Featherweight Champion.

Co-Main Event

Featherweight Title Eliminator

Rostislav "The Eagle" Kosayrov (4-0-0, Debut) vs. Mighty Mouse (3-1-0, Debut)

The Co-Main Event of the evening will see skilled and undefeated Russian Boxer, Rostislav Kosayrov as he comes up against the recently set-back American Mighty Mouse. Kosayrov made his MMA debut in March and fought four times in that same month, picking up a victory in every single bout - three being finishes. Mouse debuted earlier this month and entered a tournament on the regional circuit where he would fight four times in a single week, one day after the other, until he was met with defeat on the fourth consecutive night. "The Eagle" will be looking to continue his flight with the earning of a fifth straight win this evening, and his keys to victory will be his incredible size and reach advantages. Kosayrov stands a total 7 inches taller than his opponent, and it has been reported that he walks around twenty lbs heavier than the American. Mouse will likely be looking to use his speed advantage in order to gain the victory, and his small frame could be used to place himself in tricky angles to strike from. Boxer versus Boxer, David versus Goliath, a title shot for the winner, regret for the loser. This fight is one to get excited for, and neither man can be counted out!

Heavyweight Bout

Chong Yeung "Li" (1-0-0, Debut) vs. Cain "Ramirez" Velasquez (2-0-0, Debut)

This Heavyweight bout is scheduled to take place between two very different fighters as South Korean grappler Chong Yeung battles fearsome striker, Cain Velasquez. "Li" made his debut two months ago under the now closed King of the Beach organisation, where he tapped out his opponent in the second round with a deep kimura, earning himself a Submission of the Night bonus. "Ramirez" made his first and second appearances on the New York regional scene, fighting twice last month and finishing both of these bouts by Knockout. It's interesting to note that Yeung will come into this fight 7 years younger, considerably lighter, and almost four inches shorter than his opponent, although some of these aspects may aid him instead of hinder due to his particular fighting style. The Korean will be looking to grapple with his opponent, where he can then aim to drag the fight to the mat via takedown, trip or even a guard pull as he has considerable advantages when it comes to Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Velasquez on the other hand is a standard sprawl n' brawl fighter, who uses expert Boxing as an offense, and defensive Wrestling to keep grapplers at bay. Styles make fights, and hopefully these two match up well together in the ring.

Super-Heavyweight Bout

Holly "The Tank" Stackhouse (2-1-0, Debut) vs. Duzi "洪肚子" Hong (Debut, Debut)

The first Main Card fight will be between the two heaviest men in the arena that evening as Australia's Holly Stackhouse steps into the ring to squander the debut of Chinese behemoth, Duzi Hong. Both men weigh an incredible 300 lbs, meaning they are more than twice as heavy as the lightest men on this card, and neither man will have to worry about a grueling weight cut as we all know that the Super-Heavyweight division has no upper limit. "The Tank" is a striking specialist that has fought three times in his career thus far, picking up two KO victories along the way, which can be attributed to his expert Boxing and respectable Muay Thai abilities. "洪肚子" (or "Hung Belly") is quite younger than his opponent and as a result, does not have the same level of experience nor skill. Hong has yet to debut so how he will fight is a mystery, although he is reportedly best at stand-up more specifically Boxing. The division that these two giants fight in is very thin (irony, I know), so where they go next after this fight is currently yet to be determined.

Undercard Fights

Michael Amanatidis vs. Ronald Geahie 2

Death Grip vs. Dan Huginius (looking like a no contest)

Erick Darko vs. Mystic Mac

Badou Baha vs. James Stevenson

Martin Bjorkson vs. Ying Liu

Joey Macdonah vs. Passi Lefros

Good luck with your fights, and happy training!

Bushido 4 Main Card Preview

Main Event

Welterweight Title Fight

Scorchio "Enfield" Whitehouse (3-0-0, 1-0-0) vs. Hans Schmidtt (4-0-0, Debut)

The Main Event of the evening will take place between two of the divisions toughest as they put it all on the line for the chance to become Bushido's very first Welterweight Champion of the world. London's Scorchio Whitehouse is a boxer, who is currently sitting pretty at the top of the division's rankings after his dominant win over En Xiahou on Bushido 2, and he will be looking to take the next step up the ladder by procuring the belt. His opponent, Hans Schmidtt from Germany, has gained some recognition on the Tokyo regional circuit, where he has picked up four wins, 3 of which being by finish. From his previous fights, we know that Whitehouse is a very diverse fighter and even though he comes from a Boxing background, he is not afraid to grapple with his opponents and is constantly searching for submission opportunities when on the mat. Schmidtt is also a boxer, but he doesn't play a mixed up game like his opponent does, and he sticks solely to striking both at a distance and inside the clinch. Although he packs terrific power, the extremely poor accuracy of Schmidtt could lead to his downfall, if Scorchio is smart enough to pick away at him from a distance and avoid clinching. The winner of this fight will be the first man to be crowned a Champion in the Bushido ranks in any division, and they will find themselves sitting in the Welterweight throne. With all the pressure on these two men, and a number of fighters eagerly watching to see who takes the top spot, who will manage to pull through?

Co-Main Event

Featherweight Bout

Lei "Payday" Zhang (1-1-0, 1-0-0) vs. Jarod "The Beast" Bressler (0-0-1, Debut)

The Co-Main Event of the evening will see one of the division's brightest prospects in Lei Zhang as he faces off against the slightly older Jarod Bressler. Zhang made his MMA debut in the regional scene where he fell victim to the game of a superior grappler and found himself quickly submitted. In his second fight back on Bushido 1, Zhang dominated his opponent in which he spent the better part of five minutes smashing his head with vicious elbows within the clinch. Bressler also made his debut on the regional scene, although he did not lose on his first appearance but instead walked away with a less than favourable draw. "Payday" is a Muay Thai fighter who couples his specialty with Wrestling, to make himself a dangerous and powerful clinch-fighter. "The Beast" on the other hand is a fighter that has dabbled in all different Martial Arts, and does not appear to be a specialist at any particular discipline. In his debut he just constantly shot for takedowns - most of which were unsuccessful - which is interesting as he is only a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and has not had any serious Wrestling experience either. Zhang will most definitely be looking to clinch where he can pepper his opponent with elbows, ass well as strike using his kicks from a distance. "Payday" has reportedly stated that he is the future of the division, whilst also downplaying the abilities of contenders such as Oliveira, Jafar and Kosaryov.

Middleweight Bout

John "Liska" Anderson (3-0-0, 1-0-0) vs. Carlton Landford (1-0-0, Debut)

The second Main Card bout will be between two budding Middleweights as Argentinian grappler John Anderson is set to enter the ring opposite one of London's brightest in Carlton Landford. Anderson began his career like many others, in the regional scene where he made quick work of the two men he faced off against, finishing them both in the very first round via submission. In his Bushido debut back on the company's very first event, "Liska" would again quickly put away his opponent without any issue as he faced off against the terrifying Jamaican, Benson Whyte. Landford also picked up a win on regional scene before joining the Bushido ranks, but unfortunately for him his original company debut was cancelled due to his opponent failed to make weight. When these two men clash in the ring, we can expect Anderson to employ his usual gameplan of constantly closing the distance and working for a takedown, as he has demonstrated expert grappling and absolutely no hint of stand-up abilities. Landford on the other hand has shown to have a diverse skill-set, but is not specialised in any particular discipline - although he really did hunt for the clinch in his previous fight, and that may be a gameplan he will be looking to work this evening. A win for Anderson this evening will likely earn him the title-shot he called for after his last victory, and a win for the less-experienced Landford will put him in place for another top contender bout.

Heavyweight Bout

Marcin Tybura (3-4-0, Debut) vs. Joseph Parker (3-0-0, Debut)

Next up on the Main Card will welcome two new faces to the company as Poland's Marcin Tybura comes up against the undefeated New Zealander Joseph Parker. Tybura is one of the most experienced fighters on the Bushido roster as he has participated in a total of seven fights over a short period of time, although he has unfortunately managed to lose more than he has won. Additionally, Parker has found success thus far in his career, as he has picked up three wins in the QFC - two of which coming from finishes, one in only 10 seconds. Tybura's main specialty is reportedly his Wrestling, but we have yet to see the extent of his abilities as his fights tend to end with little action taking place although we have seen that he is unsurprisingly fond of a takedown. Unlike his opponent, there is no secret to the skills and background of Joseph Parker as he is an undefeated professional Boxer that has transitioned to MMA, and since found success with use of his striking. It will be interesting to see how these two match up inside the ring, and many aren't sure if Tybura will be able to deal with the Kiwi's Boxing.

Heavyweight Bout

Dzhokhar Volkov (Debut, Debut) vs. Walt "Bulldog" Matilda (0-1-0, Debut)

The opening fight of the Main Card will see two prospects in the Heavyweight division as newcomer making his MMA debut at only 16, Dzhokhar Volkov faces off against the slightly older Australian, Walt Matilda. A lot of eyes are on the Russian youngster as he is set to make his debut this evening, and the reason being is that he is the little brother of undefeated powerhouse, and three time Champion - William Volkov. Matilda stepped into the arena for his first time earlier this month where he fell to a submission late in the first round, which is something he will not have to worry about when he meets his next opponent. Like his elder brother, Volkov is a Boxer who has began to work on his defensive Wrestling abilities in order to build a varied and reliable skill-set, and could be classed as a sprawl n' brawler. "Bulldog" on the other hand has a slightly more varied set of abilities, seemingly having dabbled in Muay Thai, and Boxing, but not appearing to be very good at either. He does however have a big Wrestling advantage over the Russian, so we must wonder if he plans to use it offensively and shoot for takedowns, like he did in his first MMA appearance. Volkov has recently stated that he is already the Bushido Heavyweight Champion, also referring to his opponent as a "skinny midget" whilst doing so. It's this kind of confident talk that will bring in fans, and its all the more reason to watch this fight - will the Russian prove his words to be true?

Main Event

Featherweight Championship Bout

Esteban Oliveira (4-0-0, 1-0-0) vs. Rostislav "The Eagle" Kosayrov (5-0-0, 1-0-0)

The Main Event of the evening is set to be a banger, as two undefeated greats come together for a chance to became Bushido's first ever Featherweight Champion. In one corner will stand Brazilian Boxer Esteban Oliveira who will be headlining his second event in a row, as he aims to replicate his previous successes. Opposite Esteban will stand the equally successful Russian Rostislav Kosayrov, who saw himself put to bed Mighty Mouse as the Co-Main event to his current opponent, back on Bushido 3: Oliveira vs. Nakamura. Both men are boxers, so we can expect them to stand and bang, with neither man looking to grapple or go for the takedown. Each have knocked out a handful of opponents, and it is more than likely that one of these two men will find themselves sleeping on the canvas. The winner of this bout will be crowned the king of the Featherweight division, and as they take a seat on their throne, a bright target will appear on their back as the rest of the division sets their eyes on his treasure.

Co-Main Event

Light-Heavyweight Bout

Bailey "Beast of Busan" Seung-Jin (2-0-0, 1-0-0) vs. Demestos Bleach (1-0-0, Debut)

The Co-Main Event of the evening will see the return of one of Korea's biggest prospects as 17 year old Bailey Seung-Jin enters the Bushido ring for a second time as he takes on company newcomer, Demestos Bleach. Seung-Jin headlined Bushido's very first event, where he would quickly dispatch his a lot more experienced opponent, yet again demonstrating his powerful punching abilities. Demestos has yet to step into the Bushido ring, but he fought previously on the Japanese regional circuit, where also managed to finish his opponent before the final bell. Bailey is a Boxer and the extent of his skills are yet to be displayed as we have only seen him out-box his past opponents, and we have never seen how he reacts to the abilities of a grappler. Demestos is reportedly not a specialist of any particular discipline, and his skills are spread out evenly across Boxing, Muay Thai and BJJ and from his past fight, we can determine that he likes to close the distance and work for the takedown.

Road to Gold
