I would like to see how the election would work out in our tycoon world. Please vote.

Being an American and a business owner I feel we are looking at a very scary near future in America. Not a fan of the candidates and can not find the good in either.

If you could explain to me why you might feel one could do more then the other I would love to hear different opinions and perspectives from the members who are not only Americans but from around the world.

  1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.

Guide reproduction wisely — improving fitness and diversity.

Unite humanity with a living new language.

Rule passion — faith — tradition — and all things with tempered reason.

Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.

Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.

Avoid petty laws and useless officials.

Balance personal rights with social duties.

Prize truth — beauty — love — seeking harmony with the infinite.

Be not a cancer on the earth — Leave room for nature — Leave room for nature.

How do you figure that Trump is a great business man? He's had corporations go bankrupt 4 times! As recently as 2009. He's been forced to give up ownership stake and bailed out of debt multiple times. The great business men are the ones that have to clean up all his messes.

Trump will win this easily. Not because I'm rooting for it, I just think it will happen that way.

I'm not american so in the end, until the system changes, you're basically fucked anyway. In any way, I favour democrats, which in this case means Trump(Serioulsy, Hillary is the most republican candidate ever to come out of the democrat party and Trump is just going around throwing fuck you's at the republicans. So I actually think Trump is more to the left than Clinton.

Edit: be saying I think he's more left I don't think he cares about social issues or people before thinking of corporations. I say that he values public opinion more than lobbies. Whatever blows on the media, twitter, whatever, he follows it and "acts" according to the majority of the public opinion. It's popularity democracy.

That's kinda of the point, He knows how to use the system to his advantage. Bankruptcy only means failure to the ones who have no idea of how the economic laws work.

Trump is by far the smartest man/woman in this race. And I say this not being able to stand the sound of his voice for more than 2 seconds. But he sure does know how the play the game and he's doing so better than anyone else.

If you want the smartest candidate, this is your guy. I have no idea what he stands for, nor does anyone else. Everything he said/did so far in the race is bullshit used to play the people and he even so admitted it and he'll keep on changing the bullshit to get all the votes he wants. What will come out of his presidency, is a complete unknown.

Trump stands for absolutely nothing, and he's winning it with.

This poll needs a "neither". Fuck both of them.

I think this was actually his plan. First he won by being the NOT republican in the republican race and now he's going to blow Hillary away with her being the typical Democrat.

Ted Cruz would be the typical republican candidate.

He's actually being the neither party while running with the support of the republicans.

The polls suggest that Trump will not "blow Hilary away" but I leave that to the American people.

In any case you seem to be equating populism with democratic success. Populism is a strategy which sometimes wins and sometimes loses. No reason in particular at this stage at least to think its going to blow anything away here.

I'm not equating populism with democratic success. I'm equating it with democracy itself which is why I say that Trump is actually more "democratic" than Clinton.

Polls said Trump did not stand a chance in the republican race, then that he would not gather enough delegates, then that Clinton was the bigger favorite and now he's the slight favorite.

"Polls said Trump did not stand a chance in the republican race"

Trump had a plurality of support in every single poll since at least last August with the possible exception of maybe one week when for some reason Ben carson pulled about even.

"then that he would not gather enough delegates"

That was always very close in the polls. Also it was less accurate because you are dealing with State polls and in the case of New York, district polls.

"then that Clinton was the bigger favorite and now he's the slight favorite"

In the last 20 polls Trump has had a lead in maybe 2. In the vast majority clinton leads by more than +5. All this could change in the next 4 months but I don't see anything to support your argument.

Edit: I would also disagree by your definition of democracy but that would get us into a huge philosophical argument of what democracy is. The only thing I care to say about that is that there are a lot of countries around the world that run free elections, not all are democracies.

I imagine, and hope, that the Trump on TV and the Trump behind closed doors act/talk/show respect like two totally different people. Wouldn't be surprised if Putin karate chopped him at some point.

If Trump wins; Trump supporters are going to go nuts, Army vets are going to go ape shit, people are going to be screaming "America will be great again! I Told you so!" people will start shooting their guns, chewing their chewing tobacco, thumping their bibles, waving their freedom flags, and telling all non-white americans to fuck off. Nothing will change though, things will only get worse - America's #1 issue is Overpopulation.. something no politician dares to publically address... and they are going to turn on him quicker than people turned on Obama. He will likely be the first President to resign since Clinton.

If Hilary wins; women and the LGBT are going to go ballistic, there's going to be songs made, women will stop wearing tampons because they feel it's degrading and suppressing their freedom and rights, they'll start drinking and smoking while pregnant, more dudes in dresses will enter women restrooms than ever before, the American flag will turn a couple blue stripes into blue, yellow, red, orange, green, pink.... nothing will change, it will only get worse, and fortunately we'll never have another female President ever again.

I think I will just be voting for a third party this election because I can't give my vote to either of these maniacs. Neither is fitting to run this country and become the most powerful person on the planet, I'm just gonna wait out these next four years and hope it gets better in 2020. The first presidential election I am old enough to vote in and I get two of the worst candidates maybe ever.

If I had to pick one though it would be Trump, Trump isn't smart enough or experienced enough to run a town let alone a world super power but Hillary is scum and completely untrustworthy. I just hope whoever wins doesn't do too much damage to the U.S or the rest of the world.

I would personally vote Hillary, but Trump will win this. He is a master at talking, his language is way more simple than any other candidates. Plus he did the best thing he could, stand out from the crowd with his "bomb everyone" statements. He's winning one crowd at a time, first he won the average american with his "make america great again" speeches, now he's gonna win the other side with his "world has too many weapons" speech.
