TJMitchell
Standup Head punch: 0.0 (0.0) 0% Body punch: 0.0 (0.0) 0% Punch combo: 0.0 (0.0) 0% Head kick: 0.0 (0.0) 0% Leg kick: 0.0 (0.0) 0% Body kick: 0.0 (0.0) 0% Takedown: 0.5 (0.0) 0% Why is there no clinch under the standup part of the fighter stats? To see how many are attemped and % successful etc
Lefty
The system currently does not measure succesful clinch attempts. It's basically an unimportant stat, just like in real life nobody keeps track of how many times someone has entered or exited the clinch.
Bwang
Or..... It's an oversight that hasn't been corrected yet. Knowing how often your opponent wants to clinch would be very useful for game planning.

Knowing how often your opponent wants to clinch would be very useful for game planning. At the moment I'm working out the percentage myself but it's easier for me as being quite new my opponents don't have a lot of fights. I can imagine how time consuming it would be if I was fighting someone with 30 fights and I wanted to know. I really think it needs to be added.

Especially considering you have the ability to predict the % of clinch attempts of your opponent in the sliders.
AdamHolland
More information is almost never a bad thing, I was sat trying to work out some fight statistics for my next write up's and just found myself feeling like this was an area more depth would be nice.
Lefty
This is why you need to scout your opponents. Scouting does not mean looking at the percentages on their record, it means looking over their last 5 fights to every single one of their fights. Some fighters have very predictable habits you can notice if you actually scout them by looking at their fights and not the percentages. Using the percentages to set your predictions is half assing it. You are going to lose if you go off the percentages.
JakeF
It is not about how one should prepare for a fight, it is about a vip feature that should have been available long ago. Why there should be averages for every other action attempt but not clinch?

Of course scouting fights is important I just think it should be included since everything else is.
Lefty
Clinch attempts and success was not included in the end result of fights in the beginning. This is why. It can be updated to calculate these things but the reason it does not is because in the beginning there was only Tds and standup calculated by the end of a fight in the stats.
