Adams closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Soldic's guard.
Soldic looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Adams is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Our spies down at at Cozad MMA New York inform us that Soldic has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Adams seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Soldic for as long as he can get away with.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Soldic has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Soldic and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Dylan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
