Craig tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rawlings paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Craig feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Rawlings not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Craig won't allow Rawlings to get back to his feet.
Rawlings is pulling down on Craig's head. It's preventing any offense from Craig, at least for the moment.
Craig postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Rawlings has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Craig has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Craig looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rawlings with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Rawlings wants to control but Craig is keeping busy.

Rawlings really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Craig. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That was a close round but I would say that Jason Craig will probably get the nod.

Craig is trying to stick to Rawlings's back but Rawlings is turning into Craig. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Craig's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Rawlings.

Craig has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rawlings can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
