Newgate throws a lazy right hand but Gvozdev sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gvozdev takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing. #CUT#
It looks like George Gvozdev has been cut.
Newgate looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Newgate scores with a punch to the head.
Newgate takes a swing at Gvozdev's ribcage but misses.
Gvozdev throws a counter combo.
Newgate thows a left - swing and a miss!
Good leg kick by Newgate there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Newgate lands a head kick. Gvozdev smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Crunch! Newgate slams his shin into Gvozdev's torso.
A solid leg kick lands there for Newgate.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gvozdev wants to stay close but Newgate steps back to make room for something. Gvozdev seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Newgate and Gvozdev drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

After winning the bout, Edward Newgate thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Aethelwulf has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Gvozdev is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Aethelwulf is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gvozdev.

Ranger closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ranger lands in his opponent's guard.
Ranger sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gvozdev's guard.
Ranger is looking to advance position but Gvozdev won't allow it.
Ranger is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Jones has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Jones feints the counter takedown.
Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gvozdev circles away.
Gvozdev throws out a loose jab but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gvozdev tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gvozdev to the ground. Gvozdev escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
